It didn't happen often? Rose couldn't help but smirk. "Well, it suits you." Gosh, she really liked him. Really, really liked him. She knew that it been only a few months since they've known each other but she'd been attracted to him since...well, for a while. Even if she'd refused to believe that she was..if that even made sense. Hm? She could touch his hair? She flushed bright red before she ran a hand through his hair again, although she had to stand on her tip toes. "I think I've totally messed up your hair." Not that it didn't suit him. Erm. Yeah, his smile. It was gorgeous. It just made her want to smile even more. "You do?" Rose asked looked up at him, her heart started to beat faster again. Gosh.

Rose bit her lip from laughing again..but she was just so happy. So happy and relaxed. Hm. Yeah, she might have been a little worried a moment ago but now, she was thrilled. "Of course." She smiled before she added, "You're really sure about this, right? You don't have any doubts?" She was sure though. A hundred percent sure.

The blushing suited him? Mason had to disagree. "Well, at least one of us likes it." It was almost gone now. Lucky for him. Heh. Mason's grin stayed while Rose stood on her toes to run her fingers through his hair. He laughed quietly. Was his hair really that soft? Mason laughed quietly. Again. Everything was so normal now. So easy. So comfortable. He didn't have to feel awkward or anything for liking her so much. He was the happiest he'd been in ages and it was only the beginning. Anyway. Mason raised his eyebrows when she said he messed up his hair. He shook his head a few times and his hair fell somewhat back into it's normal place. "Better?" he asked with a grin. Mason nodded. "I do." Her smile was beautiful and contagious.

Of course. So, it was official. But wait... Doubts? Why would he have doubts? To answer her question, Mason leaned down and kissed her briefly one more time. "I'm positive. No doubts." He looked down at her brown eyes and smiled again.

Weren't they supposed to be doing something..? Oh! Dinner. Right... Mason looked around the kitchen at all the food that they hadn't even started preparing yet. Then he looked at the clock. It was almost seven. And he suddenly didn't feel like cooking anymore. He just wanted to... relax. With Rose. They could have their cooking lesson another time... couldn't they? Mason looked back at Rose with a small smile. "How do you feel about ordering pizza?"

"Well, your face is back to normal."Sigh. Rose had really liked when he blushed. It was just way too adorable. As she let her fingers run through his hair, she looked at him, another smile starting to form on her face. She'd never in the wildest dreams would have thought that this was going to happen..but she was really glad it did. In fact, after everything that happened recently, she wasn't sure if she'd ever get into a relationship again but this..felt so right. Perfect. She grinned when she saw him laugh. "What are you laughing at?" She looked slightly amused when she saw him shake his head and his hair fell back into place. Better? "Yeah, much better." And..she gave a light laugh when he confirmed that he really did like her smile. "Well, thank you..although, I think yours is better."

Rose smiled when he kissed her again and said that he didn't have any doubts. "I'm so happy, Mason." She knew that she'd already said that before but she wanted to say it again. Anyway, she wanted to spend some more time with him..

Ordering pizza? Oh, great. Rose was maybe..a little relieved when he suggested pizza. She'd been a little worried about completely embarrassing herself in the kitchen. "Sounds good to me." Rose said, enthusiastically. Instead of just spending their evening cooking..or in her case, making a complete fool out of herself..pizza sounded great. She was really looking forward to the evening now.

"Oh darn," he said with a small wink. He didn't like the blush. But maybe Rose could bring it back later on. Who knew? Mason was just glad Rose seemed to be enjoying herself. He laughed again. "You're just cute," he told her. "I never knew my hair was so touchable." But apparently it was. And he didn't mind one bit. He thought that Rose playing with his hair was really cute and adorable. And of course, she liked his smile better. Mason shrugged a little. "I guess we'll just have to disagree on that." Because he thought hers was better. But oh well.

It made Mason so relieved that Rose was happy. It was kind of silly that they had all that awkwardness between them for a while and now they were... happy. As un-awkward as could be. I am too, Rose," he said, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear.

Well, that was an enthusiastic answer. Mason chuckled. "Great. What kind do you like?" He was kind of excited to just eat pizza. He hadn't had it in a while. It was very... normal food.

Rose grinned. "Yeah, I know you're upset." Frankly, she couldn't see what he was embarrassed about..or maybe it was a guy thing, which she just couldnt understand. Her eyebrows shot up when he said that she was cute. "Cute? Really, Mason. That's just embarrassing." She tried to keep a serious face..and failed. Not that she didn't like being called cute..but she did felt slightly embarrassed. Huh? Never knew his hair was touchable? "It is." Rose nodded. "It's soft." She finally removed her hand. Yeah, he did say that he didn't mind..but she knew that he was probably feeling a little uncomfortable by now. Hm. "Yeah, I guess we agree to disagree."

And..he said he was happy as well. "You know, I started to like you when I met you at the cafe? Do you remember?" Even if she'd been in denial at that point of time.

What kind did she like? "Anything, really..but preferably vegetarian." Rose smiled before moved a slightly away from him. She leaned against the counter again..next to the window this time before she added hurriedly, "If that's okay with you, of course." She'd turned vegetarian when she was 14 and she preferred staying that way. Although, she did make an exception..rarely.

Upset. Heh. Mason laughed again. "So upset." Blushing wasn't a manly thing to do. This was a guy thing. Maybe Rose wouldn't understand. But then again, she didn't like blushing either, so he wasn't really sure... Never mind. He was just being weird. Moving on... "What?" Mason asked with a laugh. "What's embarrassing about being cute?" He never knew that was a bad thing. Well, his hair was soft then. Mason shrugged. "Well, thanks." Store-brand shampoo did wonders, apparently. Mason chuckled. "Sounds like a good plan."

The cafe. Mason smiled softly. "Of course I remember." That's when he realized he liked her so much more than a friend. "I was so happy when you passed by." Thank Merlin she stopped to say hello. And that the hello turned into something much more.

Vegetarian. Interesting. "Vegetarian it is." He didn't mind one bit. Mason smiled and went to the fridge to retrieve the advertisement. Lucky he saved it. "Do you want a cheese pizza...? Or a veggie one? I don't really have a preference." And since she was the guest, she could choose.

"I can see that." Rose said, the smile still on her face. "Maybe..I could make you blush again?" She asked, with a smirk. What was embarrassing about being cute? Well, she had no idea.. "I don't know..but it just is." Like, how he had no explanation as to why he didn't like to blush. She gave him a small kiss on the tip of his nose since she couldn't reach for his head. It honestly sucked being so short. It really did.

Oh, he remembered. "Me too..you know, I wasn't even sure if I wanted to say hello after everything that happened before..but I'm SO glad that I did." Rose looked him in the eyes and gave him the widest smile she could manage.

Rose turned to look out the window, thinking how her life had changed in the past few months. Yep. It had changed drastically but definitely for the better. Hm? "Veggie one sounds nice." Rose smiled at him. Honestly, he was so cute. She extended her right hand, for him to old.

It was like she read his mind. Maybe she could make him blush again? "You might actually be able to," he said with a small laugh. He thought it was embarrassing, but if she liked it then he was okay with it. Oh, the things he did for her... Heh. Just kidding. He loved it. She didn't know...? Just like the blushing thing, apparently. Mason just laughed quietly. "Fair enough," he said. He grinned when she kissed his nose. That was really cute. But.. he didn't voice it, just for her. Instead, he kissed her forehead in return.

Mason pursed his lips. "I didn't think you would say hello, actually. I was a little surprised." Especially after he had unintentionally dragged her into his relationship problems. "I'm glad you did, though." Mason looked back into her eyes and smiled back. So contagious.

He was distracted from the advertisement when he saw her standing there, looking out the window. The light from the setting sun was hitting her just right... it was gorgeous. She was gorgeous... Oh, right. Veggie. Mason looked back down at the paper. "Veggie it is. Let me call them." He looked back up when he saw her hand extended. Mason took her hand again and held it in his with a smile on my face.

Reaching behind him, Mason grabbed his rarely-used telephone and punched in the phone numbers. He had learned how to use one before he got the muggle bakery job several years ago, but never had many people to call since. Until now. Within a minute, the pizza was ordered. And breadsticks. Because it sounded good. "It should be here in about twenty minutes," he said after hanging up.

"Good." Rose laughed along with him. "Seriously, what's wrong with blushing? Especially when it suits you, hm?" She just had to know..although, he could ask the same question since she didn't really like blushing either..unfortunately, she did that all the time. Since she was a kid..yeah, it's one of the few things she really didn't like about herself. She smiled when he laughed again. "I really like it when you laugh.." And..she could feel her cheeks heat up. Again. Uh. This was just bad..way too bad.

Surprised? "Yeah, me too. But..for some reason, I wanted to see you again." Well..she knew the reason but..yeah. She bit her lip and looked up at him again, her eyes shining with happiness. As cheesy as this did sound, she hadn't felt so good in a really long time.

Rose propped herself on the counter next to the window as she waited for him to find the number of the pizza place. She smiled when he took hold of her hand, pulling him a little closer so that she didn't have to stretch her hand out. She continued to look out the window until he spoke. Twenty minutes? "Alright." She grinned before she continued, "So..what do you want to do until then?" They could just hang out in the kitchen..she wouldn't mind since she really loved it there..or whatever he suggested.

What was wrong with blushing? Ugh. Mason kept grinning and shaking his head. "It-It's just... not a manly thing to do," he explained with a laugh. "Plus, 'cute' suits you. Why don't you like it?" Yeah, he was turning the tables now. Hah. Then she said she liked it when he laughed and... Well, he laughed again. He just couldn't help it. "I love it when you laugh," he said quietly, smiling softly.

Mason raised his eyebrows slightly. "You did? Even after the crazy thing at the bar?" Because honestly, Mason didn't think Rose would want to talk to him after that. After everything with Medea and... crazy psycho ex-fiance stuff. It would've scared any ordinary woman away. But... Rose wasn't ordinary, was she? She was special to Mason. Very special.

Mason pressed his lips together so as not to grin so much when she pulled him closer to her. But he couldn't help it and grinned anyway. What did they want to do? Hm. "Well... I can give you a tour of the place. Or we could... stay here." There really wasn't a whole lot to do, now that he thought of it.

Not a manly thing to do? Rose burst out laughing. That was just funny..although kind of true. Guys usually like to blush, especially in front of girls. "Fine, fine." Rose said, shaking her head. Wait..what? "Hey, we were talking about you blushing." Besides, she had absolutely no idea why she didn't like being called cute. She just didn't. "Anyway..I don't like it, that's all." Rose said, with a small shrug. "But..I might get used to it." Rose said, with a smirk. Doubtful but possible. Rose grinned when he laughed again and said that he loved it when she laughed. "We seem to like everything about each other." Rose mused, as she looked up at him.

Rose nodded. "Frankly, I never thought I'd see you again but when I saw you sitting outside the cafe..I just wanted to talk to you." Who would have thought they'd end up here? She didn't.

Right. Rose flushed slightly when she noticed the grin on his face. Stop blushing, Rose. UGH. Moving on. "So..I'm okay with both." Rose said, leaning more comfortably against the counter. "Whatever you want to do."

... She was laughing at him. That wasn't nice. But he laughed anyway. "What, I'm serious!" Guys just didn't like blushing. Oh well. Mason grinned. "Yes, and now we're talking about you being cute." So there. He didn't understand why she didn't like it, though. Being called cute was a good thing, wasn't it? But she would get used to it? "Good," he said with a wink. And she was definitely right. They seemed to like everything about each other. Mason thought about that... and nodded with a small laugh. "You're right. I guess that's not really a bad thing, though..." Or was it? It was good to him.

Wow... What would have happened if Rose hadn't talked to him that day? Mason smiled softly. "I'm glad you did," he said quietly. Because now, he didn't want to be without her.

And she was blushing again. Mason just kept smiling at her. "You are very indecisive," he commented with an amused smile. He kissed her on the cheek lightly. "You're the guest. You get to decide."

"Okay." Rose was pretty sure he didn't like all this talk about him blushing. "I know you're serious so let's just forget about it." Although, she tried really hard not to laugh..and was quite successful. Back to her being cute.. "Well, this might sound a little silly but people have always called me cute, you know? Not pretty, not smart..but cute." Her family, friends and even Konrad. She was a little tired of that word. Yeah, well. She was pretty sure she would never get used to it. Huh? He guessed? Rose rolled her eyes and gave him a light punch on his arm with her free hand. "Of course, it's not a bad thing!" At least, she didn't think so.

"Me too." Rose said, softly. She pulled him even closer before she wrapped her arms around him. Rose looked up at him, a huge smile on her face.

Indecisive? Rose grinned. "Well, since it's up to me..how about we just hang out here?"

Mason smiled and shook his head. "It's okay, don't worry about it." He wasn't really that upset about it. It was just silly. He chewed the inside of his lip when she spoke again. Oh. He could see why that.. bothered her, maybe? Always being cute and not pretty. Mason sighed quietly and squeezed her hand lightly. "Rose, you are beautiful and smart and... You're just amazing. Trust me." He smiled softly and kissed her cheek. But she also had her moments of cuteness, which wasn't bad at all.

Mason grinned when she punched him. "Good," he said, poking her back.

His grin stayed when Rose pulled him in and he wrapped his arms around her. Yeah, he was happy just staying right there until the pizza arrived. "I'm okay with that." He winked at her and kissed her nose softly. He just wanted to talk to her... get to know her more... "What's your favorite color?"

"I shouldn't have laughed though.." Rose said, although she was still trying to hide the smile that kept creeping on to her face. She knew it was something only guys could understand but it was quite amusing. She was amazing? Rose couldn't stop herself from smiling. She loved to hear compliments like that..and she loved the fact that they were coming from him. "Thanks." Rose said, before kissing him on the cheek. "You're really amazing as well." Yes. She was lucky to be with him. She really was.

Rose smiled when he wrapped his arms around. Hm. This definitely felt good. And..her smile widened a little when he kissed her on the nose. He was adorable. Hm? She raised an eyebrow in surprise. That was little..unexpected. Anyway. "Blue. Light blue, in particular." She loved purple as well but..blue was her favorite. "Yours?"

Mason just smiled and shook his head again. She was smiling anyways. Well, it looked like she was trying not to, but it wasn't working. It was cute. But... he didn't say that. Heh. "Rose, it's fine. I promise." They were just silly. Mason squeezed her hand once with a smile. And then he got a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you," he replied quietly. They were, apparently, two amazing people. Good thing they were dating now.

Smiling at her expression, Mason waited. Blue. Light blue, in particular. Mason nodded. "Good choice." Now, what was his? "Green," he answered rather quickly. It was an easy question. "Grass green, in particular." It reminded him of nature, which he loved. "Why light blue?" He was curious if there was any significance behind it.

"If you say so." Rose was still feeling a little doubtful but..okay. If he was fine with it, great. Thank you? For calling him amazing? Rose couldn't help but let out a quiet sigh. "You don't have to thank me, Mason." She smiled up at him. "You really are amazing, you know. I never thought I'd fall for someone so soon..after everything that's happened." She bit her lip and looked down at the ground. Way to go, Rose. You just have to bring up something..awkward. Well, she didn't think it was awkward but..he'd probably feel weird..or something.

Grass Green. That's nice. She loved that color as well. Yeah..Mason was right. She was way too indecisive. Why light blue? Erm..well. "I think that color looks good on me?" Rose said, with a laugh. "But..yeah. I think it looks very pretty and it reminds me of the summers that I spent at home..when I was a kid." In a weird way.

He didn't have to thank her. Right. "Fine then," he said with a small laugh. Mason bit his lip lightly when she brought up 'after everything that's happened'. At first, he didn't think he'd be able to move on so quickly. And he possibly thought that it was just his emotions being so vulnerable when he started liking Rose so much, but as time went on, he knew it wasn't like that. He had fallen for her, simply put. When she looked at the ground, Mason presumed that she though she had made things awkward, but she didn't. Mason put a finger under her chin and tipped her head up, smiling down at her. "I never thought so either... But I'm glad I did." Anything was possible, right? Definitely.

Mason chuckled lightly. "Fair enough," he said. That was a good enough reason. And it reminded her of summers at home. Mason smiled faintly. That was a good reason too. Now... new question: "If you could go anywhere in the world for a week, where would it be? Your dream vacation, I guess." And he would keep his answer in mind.

Rose sighed. She was pretty sure she'd made things awkward. Again. Although, she'd just said what she felt. She'd never really thought that she would move on..and be this happy. This guy was something special. She linked her fingers through his absently as she thought about how depressed she'd been a few months ago. Anyway..that was the past. I was glad I did..Huh. He had no idea how thrilled she was to hear that. She just smiled back up at him before she kissed him lightly on the lips.

Dream vacation? Rose grinned. She liked this question/answer session thing they had going on. "Austria." She'd always wanted to visit Austria..since she was a kid, in fact. She didn't know why..she just did. Unfortunately, she really didn't have the time to travel the past few years. But, yes. Visiting Austria would be a dream vacation. "How about you?"

Mason smiled when he felt her fingers link with his. It was a perfect fit, wasn't it? Mason smiled when she kissed him, too. He was just full of smiles when he was with her.

Austria? Hm. He wasn't expecting that, though he didn't really know why. "Why's that?" he asked curiously. Maybe she had family there or something...? Either way, Mason would have to keep that in mind... "I want to go to Spain," he told her with a smile. Because although he liked the cold and the snow, he liked the idea of a hot summer in spain. And because Spain had amazing architecture and he was into that kind of stuff.

And then he realized that he had been kind of rude. "Oh, Merlin. Sorry, do you want something to drink? I should have asked that when you first got here." Mason laughed apologetically. Whoops. "I've got water, pumpkin juice... I think I've got some wine in the cellar." That was romantic. Wine and pizza. Heh.

Well... that was the last of Mason's belongings. All that was left in Mason's house was a couple of his suitcases and whatever Rose had with her. Everything he and Rose owned had been packed up and sent over to their new home in Sweden. It had all happened so fast, too. One minute everything was fine and normal, and the next his father had a stroke and needed his family. Mason was the only family he had left, though, so it was up to him. He didn't mind, though. Change was good. He had spent the last nearly seven years in London and now he got to move to Sweden, help his dad, and finally settle down with Rose. He was looking forward to it, yes, but it was still all very bittersweet.

Mason stood in the empty living room and glanced around until something caught his eye. Rose was around somewhere, probably looking around for anything they might have left behind.

On the mantle of the fireplace sat an small, old box. Mason walked over, surprised that he had almost forgot it. He opened the box and saw the familiar engagement ring. It was simple, yet elegant, like his mother, whom it had belonged to before she passed. His father had given it to Mason so he could one day give it to the woman he wanted to marry. Mason had found that person. But everything had just been so crazy lately that he knew it wasn't the right time. It would be the right time soon, though. He knew that. Once they got settled down in Sweden, Mason would propose to Rose. He brushed his thumb over the ring and smiled lightly. Soon.

Rose looked around the kitchen one last time, not wanting to leave at all. Not that she wasn't looking forward to Sweden. She really was. But, she'd spent almost eleven years of her life in London. It was almost like she was leaving home. Like how she'd felt when she left the States for the first time when she was eighteen. She sighed and leaned against the empty counter. She was going to have to start from scratch again. New country, New people, New life. She knew it was all worth it though.

With one last glance outside the window, she made her way towards the living room. How hard it could it be? It wasn't like she was never coming back. She was going to visit her family as often as she could. Especially since they weren't all that happy with her decision to move. And Rose couldn't blame them. They'd moved to England to spend time with her after all.

Rose leaned sideways against the doorway to the now empty living room. "You ready?" She looked at Mason, who was standing near the fireplace. She wasn't exactly sure how Mason was feeling about all this. She assumed he'd be happy to move back home..

Mason was distracted when he heard Rose's voice come in from the doorway. He closed the box and tucked it into his coat pocket before taking a final look around. Mason nodded a little bit and sighed. "I think so." It was still hard to believe he was saying goodbye to this place. The first house he owned. He felt all grown up, which he was. He was almost 32 for Merlin's sake. It was time to settle down, wasn't it? And there was only one person he wanted to settle down with.

Looking back over at Rose, Mason smiled again and walked over to her. "Are you ready?" he asked, taking her hands in his. Ready to start a new life? Find a new job? Make new friends? She was letting a lot go by coming with him. This was the end of an old chapter, but also the beginning of a new one. One that he was very excited for.

He couldn't get the thought of the engagement ring out of his mind though. He knew he wanted to give it to Rose, but he always thought he would take her back to where they first met to do it. He was corny and traditional like that, but this... this seemed like good timing, too...

Rose could see that he was going to miss this place and she was too. It was a beautiful house really. Big, comfortable and homely. The past few months here had been absolutely incredible. She couldn't remember being so happy in her entire life. Mason made her happy. She looked at her future husband boyfriend, a smile playing around the corners of her lips. She knew this man was going to keep her happy for the rest of her life.

"Yes." Rose was nervous and scared but for the most part, she was excited. She let a hand run though her hair. She knew things would be difficult for a little while and she was sure she'd get homesick too. But, she knew that she'd be able to cope. She'd always managed to survive tough situations. Besides, Mason would be there for her. So, she had nothing to worry about right?

Rose smiled when he took her hands in his. "We are starting a new life together." She could feel her face heat up a little with excitement. Starting a new life with the man she loved. Could she really ask for anything more?
