King Peter paced in front of the four thrones at Cair Paravel, where his two sisters and brother sat. A large Lion sat patiently between the two middle thrones watching Peter with his amber eyes.
"What we must do, is call for aid," Peter mumbled more to himself then to the others within the room.
Aslan nodded. "This is a new sort of magic, one that I have never dealt with before. You need all the help you can get," the Lion said, gazing at each of the monarchs in turn. "The best thing to do is to gather everyone, and try to get some new ideas and plans. You never know what may come up," Aslan continued.
Peter nodded. "Alright. Susan, blow your horn. That way, everyone will know to come. We will also need messangers..." Peter said, glancing up at some local deer that were in the room. They nodded and quickly trotted out of the Hall.
Susan stood. "Okay, here it goes..." she brought the horn to her lips and gave a long blow...

Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and some friends were walking around the grounds, having just gotten out of their last exam.
"That was horrible!" Ron said, moping.
"Well, you should have studied!" Hermione scolded.
Suddenly, the group stopped walking.
"Did you hear that?" Clarissa said looking up, along with everyone else. "It sounded like a horn-" she was cut off as the group were suddenly pulled, as if by a portkey, into a portal. Soon, the portal closed, leaving the Hogwarts grounds quiet and peaceful.

Elphie shrugged. "I'm ok probably if you give me a sword. But I'd be better with my wand," she said honestly, not wanting to swordfight as well as use her wand.

Ooc: Is anyone able to take Jeana???

Aslan nodded. "Very good," he said, nodding to the creatures who had come in. Each of the creatures gave a sword which was a perfect length, to each person. Also, a bow was handed to each person who said they were skilled with them. Aslan thanks them and they exited the room. "Now, we must be prepared for whatever comes our way. Peter, are you prepared to lead Narnia's army once again?" he asked.

Clair accepted her sword. She was happy that it felt light in her hands. She took off its sheath and studied the blade. The metal was freshly polished and the blade was sharp. It was light in her hand and the weight felt perfect for her. As she slid the sheath back on, she noticed the hilt. On the hilt was an Emerald, her favorite jewel. "Wow," she breathed. Next, she studied her bow. It was flexible and just the right length. She noticed, also, that it was encrusted with small emeralds. She smiled, these seemed just perfect for her.

Jeana spoke up. "I can use a bow and arrow," she said, "or a sword. It doesn't matter to me."

Elphie finished her thorough examination of her sword and put in the sheath she had tied around her waist.

Aslan nodded and the weapons were distributed to those who wanted them. He gave a nod to one of the creatures and it brought a large map forward. He pointed to a river close to the Stone Table. "They plan on being at Rush River by mid-afternoon tomorrow," he said looking up from the map to meet everyone's eyes. "I say that we meet them there," he continued, showing his teeth in a grin. "We will make them wish they had never entered the land of Narnia!" he said, the creatures around him cheering.

Clair smiled and nodded at the determination of the surrounding creatures. "We're here to help," she said, meeting the Lion's eyes. "We will do our best to cleanse this land of the Deatheater filth," she said, her eyes gleaming with determination. She looked at her friends, all now decked out with their wands and Narnian weaponry.

Ooc: I didn't get Hermione in there.. Oh well, let's just say she was handed a bow and arrow.

Hermione was holding her bow in her hand awkwardly. She had read a book or two on these old-fashioned muggle weapons, and had learned how to use one. But, never in her wildest dreams had she attempted or thought about trying to use one.
Hermione looked the bow up and down, trying to jog her memory about what to do. She held it out, and tried pulling the string back. To her great surprise, and even greater pleasure, it pulled back easily, and twanged when released.
The bow was beautiful, with a more simple elegance. Made from polished wood (of some kind, Hermione didn't know) that was carved to resemble vines and leaves wrapped around it. The carved leaves and vines seemed to be gold, making it much more beautiful to Hermione than any jewel-encrusted one would be. She held it out to the ready, feeling more confident than before.

Susan looked over at the map that Aslan was showing to everyone. His plan was good, because of course, it was Aslan! Her eyes quickly followed the path their enemies would take. "Aslan, will we have to cross the Rush River to be on the Stone Table side, or stay on the ocean side?" Susan asked, hoping to remain dry.

Aslan looked at Susan with steady eyes. "There is a narrow section, right about here," he said pointing to a section of the River on the map. "This will allow our armies to cross quickly without getting too delayed by the water. Unfortunetly, we will have to circle back around a bit to get to where they're planning to cross," he continued, tracing their path on the map with a claw.

Clair watched as Aslan planned their course. She kept her eyes on the map, for the most part, trying to memorize the locations. She looked up to meet Peter's eyes at one point and her own eyes filled with tears. What if I never see Peter or any of my friends again? she wondered, as she scanned the group. She shook her head, as if trying to get the thoughts out of her head. We will get out of this, all of us, alive, she thought stubbornly.

Edmund moved torward Aslan. "I-I'm not ready for another fight. I-" he didn't want to say it; he couldn't say it! Not in front of Jeana! But he did any ways "I'm scared, I don't want to be stabbed again." he said, fingering the place where the White Which stabbed him. Even though it was gone, being cured by his loving sister, he still remembered the pain and the scream -that is what haunted him the most- of Peter.

Harry frowned at the thought of being stabbed, then he gazed at everyone in the room, imagining what he would do if one of the others were stabbed. He shuddered at the thought.

Ben looked at Edmund, and stood by him, wondering what to do. He couldn't think of anything, mainly because the task ahead.

Mr. Tumnus looked at Aslan, then to the map. He was ready. Or, at least, with the sword in his hand, he thought he was.

Jeana looked at Edmund with concern. "It'll be okay, Edmund," she said quietly, taking his hand. "I won't let those stupid Death Eaters stab you."

Elphie shivered in anticipation. Why did the Death Eaters have to come in the first place? She sighed. "I think everyone's as ready as ever," she said.

Susan saw Harry shiver, and wrapped her arm around him. "What's wrong?" she asked quietly. Even though she had only known him for a short while, Susan knew that showing any sort of fear wasn't what Harry would normally do.
It suddenly hit her how dangerous this battle could be. People and animals could get wounded, even killed, during this time. And here were people from a different place, defending a land and creatures they barely knew or had seen. It was almost like what happened with me, Peter, Edmund, and Lucy, Susan thought realizing how this situation was similar. Yet, it was also completely different as well.

Todd came from his place in the corner, feeling overwhelming curiousity for what was being planned. He leaned over the tops of people's heads to see the map of this "Narnia" place. He felt shocked for a moment to see how complicated this place was. There were lands to the north and south, the obvious ocean that could be seen from this very room, and names for every river and wood. It wasn't just made up on the spot, this place was a land in itself. And all of a sudden, it all seemed very real to Todd.
Maybe things can be different, he thought. Only it wasn't himself saying it, the voice was a new person he just discovered in himself. One that wanted change. He glanced over at Elphie, who was one of the first to accept this place. Todd blushed. Things can deffinetly be different.

Clair looked around at all of her friends. Her fears lessened when she saw the same look of apprehension reflected on everyone's faces that was echoed in her heart. She gave a small smile, and voiced the same thoughts that had helped to comfort her.

"I know this will be tough," she began, looking at her friends and meeting their eyes. "But we have somethings the Deatheaters don't: We have friendship, a bond that can never be broken; we have love..." she looked at Peter with a smile. "We have teamwork and respect for each other, we have become a team, which is something that the Deatheaters will never understand," she said.

She stopped, realizing how she had changed since they had first arrived. "We can do this, if we stick together," she said, her eyes filling with tears as she looked around and met the eyes of friends, new and old.

Hermione listened to Clair speek. It was so insperational. She ran up and hugged her friend, her eyes glassy. "Clair's right. No matter what, we know we'll be together! And with our bond, we all can defeat the scum invading this beautiful land!" Hermione said. She realized how everyone was looking at them and nodding their heads, their sad worried faces turning into confident ready ones. Hermione smiled encouragingly.

Clair smiled at Hermione and hugged her friend. "Well, should we get some practice with these new weapons?" she asked, fingering the hilt of her wonderful sword. "Personally its been awhile since I've handled a bow..." she said, with a smile.

Aslan nodded. "Yes, that sounds like a good plan. Their highnesses can show you where the practice courts are and I'm sure they could use some practice as well!" he said jokingly. He winked at the room and then turned to the Griffin and Owl. "Come, I will show you to your rooms..." he said, leading them out of the room.

Susan walked away from the group and waved her hands in the air. "Everyone that has a bow, follow me! This way to the archery range!" she shouted. Susan started walking in the direction to her shortcut to the archery range. She glanced back occasionally to see whether anyone was following.

Hermione quickly followed behind Susan, wanting to try out her new bow. It was so nice, she felt her fingers tingling in excitement. She gripped the bow in her right hand, and held her quiver full of arrows in her left. Hermione couldn't wait to try out her archery skills.

"Um......who shall teach us swords?" Harry asked.

"I know how," Ben repeated.

"Don't look at me!" Edmund said to Harry. "I'm not a good teacher. I'm going to the archery range with the girls. Since I was in the back last time." he added, skipping off behind the archers.

Ron followed them to the archery range, holding the weighted javelin, brilliant for throwing in his hands. He was fairly good at javelin, but he had only ever done it for sport, never to kill anyone.

Ron walked up beside Hermione. "Hey," he said to her.

Elphie looked at Peter. "I guess you're teaching us how to use swords...since Edmund isn't," she said.

Hermione smiled at Ron, feeling almost shy around him. "Hey yourself," she replied, taking his hand in hers. "You're coming to the archery range with us?" Hermione asked already knowing the answer, since he was walking in this direction.

Todd came up behind Elphie, looking at Peter as well. "I'll need all the practice I can get. I've never used a sword," said his new braver self. He held up the sword with its sheath covering it, which he had just recently obtained. Todd stared at the sword, which he hadn't inspected earlier.
The hilt was gold and silver, with an amber stone encrusted at the butt of it. After he removed the sheath, he found the actual sword gleaming and ready to be used. Todd covered the sword with the sheath, and tied it around his waist ready to be used.
He felt his new self tugging him forward, toward Elphie. He walked next to her, and stuck his hand out. "We may have gotten out on the wrong foot. I'm Todd," he found himself saying to the girl.

Clair smiled at Susan. "I'll join you guys leter!" she called to Susan. She watched as they left, then turned to Peter. "I could help you to learn. I've taken some lessons back at home..." she said with a shrug. She smiled as she remembered those lessons. She had discovered her natural talen with the sword as it was put into her hands. "Why don't we try some basic strikes and blocks on training grounds," she suggested, following Peter as he led them. (ooc: sorry sammi1993, but you havn't been posting...) When they arrived, Clair smiled. "So, who's ready to learn how to use a sword?" she asked, a grin on her face.
