This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.

This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.

If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much.

Snape sighed and looked down at his plate. He hadn't eaten much and should probably get moving on it if he wanted to eat while it was still warm. He used this opportunity to think about how in the world he'd be able to sneak even a small phial past the guards.

She took his silence to mean he was in deep thought and, respecting that she too remained quiet and only every so often raised her eyes to look at him.

After several minutes of silence while he finished his meal, Snape leant back in his chair, took a sip of wine, and looked at Marcella. "I do see how I would be able to get it in on my person. It will be easier if I can take the potion before I hand myself over and hope that it will last long enough for someone to smuggle another dose in at some point," he said, frowning. "But, that would require constant visitation for the rest of my life and there are several problems with that scenario. One, we don't know if they will even allow me visitors. Two, we don't know if the visitors will be able to sneak the potion past the guards. Three, we dont' know how often the potion needs to be consumed...."

Laying her fork down quietly, she frowned for a few seconds and then began to speak, "Assuming that potion works, then it should be easy, or should I say, simple to concentrate the ingredients in order to maintain a stronger dose in a smaller amount of liquid. I honestly dont know how long it would last, but I surely cant see why they would deny you visitation rights when Bartemius Crouch, who'd murdered many people, was allowed visits from his father. Lord knows you're a much better person than he was.." she sighed, running a stressed finger through the piece of hair dangling in front of her eyes. "All that remains is to decide how I am to sneak it in. Although, I have heard dementors aren't the cleverest of creatures, so a simple invisibility charm should do it."

"That's assuming they won't have wizards available to search you before they let you in. But, I'm sure you'll think of something," he sighed then, changing topics. "Have you arranged for dessert?"

Raising an eyebrow questioningly, she seemed to approve and replied, a small blush creeping onto her cheeks, "You trust me to find a way? That's awfully amiable of you..." In response to his question, she shook her head, "I arranged everything else, I trust you can arrange something simple such as dessert."

Snape motioned the waiter over and ordered a couple of slices of grasshopper pie before turning back to Marcella. "As determined as you are, you should be more than capable of finding a way to sneak the potion inside," he said.

ooc: do you guys even have grasshopper pie over there? hmmm... I wonder what wizarding grasshopper pie would be like...

Smiling, she took the pie gratefully and began smothering liberal amounts of jam over it. Looking up, licking the spoon which she had used, she nodded her head in a quirky manner, "I'm just shocked that you seem to trust me with something as important as that. There was a time when you didn't trust me at all."

"I admit that I probably gave you less credit than you deserve," he said, poking at his pie rather than eating it. "And, it really isn't that important. You should be more shocked that I agreed to taking th epotion at all."

"Shocked is an understatement," she said, finally eating some of the pie, crunching her way through it. "You really gave me a surprise when you drank it here. The way you are, I thought you'd be a little more careful about being seen doing anything, well, dodgy." she smirked, knowing what she had said, what with her being sat across from him, her leg entwined with his, was completely ironic.

"I think I've gone well past dodgey," Snape smirked. "Besides, what are they going to do? Throw me in Azkaban? It's going to happen eventually so, I might as well... live it up alittle, so to speak."

What was in this wine, anyway? Live it up a little? When had he become this carefree fool? Shrugging inwardly to himself, he decided he was merely fulfilling his promise to himself to attempt to be uninhibited, open, and honest, with Marcella for at least this one night.

"Oooh.." she said, smirking back at him, the edge of the goblet between her lips. "Can I take that to mean that I am, in some way, classy? After all, if you're living it up in my company..." she chuckled, licking her lips, smiling, baring all teeth, feeling completely carefree for a few swift moments.

"Certainly more classy than I am," he said, gesturing toward her clothins and then, to his. "As if I would ever chose to wear something like this. And you... Well... I've never been one for compliments, giving nor receiving, so I'm finding it rather difficult to express how you look."

"Are you sure you're quite drunk enough for that sort of talk?" she giggled, trying to remain somewhat serious but failing miserably. Glancing down at her robes, she blushed slightly and said, "I look nowhere near as good as you do. You really should wear black a little less. Although I cant deny that the colour, if black is a colour, does make you seem sort of attractive, in a dark and mysterious sort of fashion." Not quite believing what she had said, she started to wonder if she had drunk too much.

ooc: I think I like drunk Snape and Marcella. They are actually being fun in an ooc kinda way.

Snape picked up his goblet. "I've still got some left so, perhaps not," he smiled, draining the last of the wine. He put it down and looked at Marcella. "But, with that kind of talk, I'm beginning to suspect you of having drunk too far too much: attractive..." he laughed.

"And to think," she said, before draining her goblet and placing it rather noisily on the table, "You allowed me to drink so much!" She laughed for a little, knowing she was fully in control of herself and then added, "If I did not find you attractive in the beginning, then why would I have wanted to have been with you?"

"I thought it might have something to do with my glowing personality," he joked but, as he thought about it, he really wasn't sure what could have attracted her to him. Shaking his head, Snape looked down at the empty plates, goblets and wine bottle. "I think we've finished with dinner."

"Great deduction Sherlock." she commented, rising from her chair, leaving a scattered pile of Galleons on the table. Looking at the empty plates and then the seemingly satisfied Snape, she smiled, not remembering when she had, or if she had ever, seen him this loose, this happy, this carefree. "Your personality does glow," she affirmed, "Just in a different way to most."

Snape rose wtih Marcella and moved stand in front of her. "So, where are you whisking me off to now?" he asked, proud that he had managed to maintain a lighthearted conversation and shocked that he was actually enjoying himself.

Wrapping her travelling robe back around her shoulders, she observed it was a pity that she need where it, she didn't like hiding the robes she'd especially kept for an ocassion such as this. Slipping an arm around his waist, she snuggled closer and replied, "I think that dessert may have fattened you ever so slightly. Care for a walk?"

It was a pity she had to cover her beautiful robes with a dusty travelling cloak. It served to remind him of the events which had taken place and that Marcella was still recovering from the injuries she had obtained. Snape put his arm around her shoulders as she snuggled against him and attempted to recover his more cheerful mood by chuckling at her little jest. Not quite acheiving the effect he wanted, he gave up forcing himself to be cheerful and began to walk out of the small restaurant with Marcella and answering with a softly spoken, "Alright."

With a sharp ear and a quick mind, she speedily picked up on the change in his voice. Making her way out of the door, she became delighted when she saw that the rain had ceased and, just beyind the horizon, the sun was beginning to lower. She took her robe off once more and asked, "Whatever's the matter?"

"Nothing. Perhaps I haven't had enough to drink after all," he said, a small smile making its way to his lips. "You must be feeling a bit better," he observed as he saw Marcella walk, though a bit unsteadily, without the use of a crutch. "Where are we off to?"

Her eyes narrowed still in concern, as she was sure she could still hear something amiss in his voice, she replied, "Does one usually have a destination in mind when one plans to go for a stroll?"

"I suppose not," he admitted, looking away from Marcella and toward the setting sun. "Though rarely does my strolling take place out of doors or not involve finding students out past curfew for a late night rendezvous."
