This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.

This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.

If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much.

Snape backed up out of Marcella's way and looked over to the door and then, back at Marcella, concerned. "Please be careful and you can stay here and rest a bit more if you need to," he said before striding over to the door to Kristi's small room.

"I'm not staying." she reitterated, sharpening her gaze so that he had to look at her, see the sincerity in her eyes. "I have no reason to stay and you need to speak with your daughter alone. It's cruel that I got to spend so much time with you and she didn't."

"You may do as you wish," he said, turning his back.

He knocked on the door and received no answer so he reached out for the door handle and gave the door a gentle push. The door opened a crack before meeting with some resistance. "Kristi?" he called.

She presently, as he left her side, realised she did not know exactly what she wanted to do. He didn't want her around and for good reason too. The thought of going to see Albus didn't inspire her either. He had made it clear where he stood in reference to her relationship with Severus.

Though she had never and would never expect him to approve of it, she would never have expected him to be so condemning. Could he not see that she loved the man? Or was that what so deeply scared him, the possibility of both of them becoming so distracted from the cause they were working for, that their goal would be inevitably delayed.

But wasn't that what had just happened? Twice now Severus had injured with intent, Darrin Fletcher. Twice he had murdered him because of her and his newly jealous ways. Was it no their relationship that had caused all this? So deeply caught in thought, she absent mindedly hobbled with her crutches, straight into one of the bottom most steps that led upward from the dungeons and into the main sector of the school. Cursing, she gave into the temporary numbness and flopped onto the step, shocked at how exhausted her small journey had made her.

Kristi felt the door move and then her father calling her name. She immediatly got to her feet and began wiping at her tears. She couldn't let him see her acting so weak because then he'd want to know what was wrong and would probably chide her for being so immature. "Come in," she said as she walked over to he small sink and wet a cloth to wipe the remaining tears from her face before turning to face her father who had just stepped into the room.

Lost, with no-one left to turn to, she almost found herself wishing Archie were around. But since Snape had returned and she had so willingly thrown herself into his prescence, she doubted whether he would ever find it in his heart to forgive her.

The images of Snape, Kristi, the look of disappointment on Dumbledore's face, the face of Archie and the paleness of Darrin's dead form, embedded in her mind. Anguished, she felt her head fall into her hands, as she lost grasp of her crutches. They clattered to the floor ominsouly as her eyes became buried in her hands, tears leaking between her fingers and splashing onto the gloomy ground.

He pushed the door open and stepped into the room after Kristi's invitation. She watched as she washed her face, unsure of what to say or do. It was obvious she had been crying and he didn't have to wonder why she was now attempting to cover it up as she turned to face him with a facade of indifference. He would have been proud at her mastery of her emotional displays but, after his conversations with Marcella, it pained him a little that his own daughter felt she needed to present herself in this way when speaking with him.

Snape walked over to Kristi and, much to her surprise, judging by the look on her face, he wrapped his arms around her. She stood stiff in his arms at first but, after a few moments, he felt her arms clutch at him and she began to shake as she buried her face in his chest.

In her silent reverie, she realised that what she had just instructed upon Severus was one of the most self-less of things she'd ever done. Knowing that coupled with the knowledge that she could br proud of herself she foolishly thought this feeling could rid her eyes of tears. It did not. Shoulders hunched over, she sobbed continually into her palms, her whimpers no louderthen her pathetic sniffs.

She was so shocked by her father's sudden embrace that it took a moment for what wsa happening to sink in. Sure, they had hugged when he had first come back but, now that he had been here for a while, Kristi had been sure things would be somewhat back to normal. But, despite her thoughts, she wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his chest as the tears started to flow once more. This hug was exactly what she had always wanted, even if she hadn't known she wanted it. It was comforting and loving and fatherly. She figured it was probably done out of guilt over his impending arrest or prodding from Marcella but, she could care less. He was here now and that was all that mattered.

Hastily swiping at her tears, she shook her head, willing them to vanish from her face. Failing miserably, she leant her head against the wall, breathing freely, trying to decide what to do next, where to go and more importantly, how she was going to cope with what was inevitable.

Not quite sure what to do next, he thought about how he had coped with Marcella's tears and decided the best course of action was to remain silent. He pat her on the back and when she finally let go, standing up straight, and wiping at her eyes, Snape stepped away and sat down upon her desk chair. Kristi, in turn, settled herself cross-legged on the bed, facing him. "I apologize for not coming to spend time with you sooner," he said, unsure of what else to say.

In her deep depression she found herself, by some unimaginable reason, channeling Snape just as she thought of how formal and awkward he was porbably acting. She was right. Sighing, she wiped her eyes and stumbled up, hopping up on her crutches and making her way outside. "Remember, she's your daughter. There's no need to hold back or force up any barriers between the two of you. Be real, be emotional, be compassionate, just be what you feel. You've got nothing left to lose if you've lost everything."

Snape shook his head after hearing Marcella's advice. He almost laughed at the obserdity of it all. Marcella giving him parenting advice. Kristi gave him a funny look and he sighed. "I know I haven't been the best father and I won't have the time to make it up to you but..." he paused, trying to formulate his feelings into words. "I don't want you wasting your life trying in vain to get me released. We were lucky this time and they won't give me a third chance."

Kristi wasn't used to this kind of behaviour from her father and wasn't sure if she should push him. But, in the end, she decided to just do it anyway. "But, why are you going back? What happened? Maybe if I knew what happened, I'd be better able to accept it," she said, staring down at her hands which were folded in her lap.

Remember, she's your daughter. There's no need to hold back or force up any barriers between the two of you. Be real, be emotional, be compassionate, just be what you feel. You've got nothing left to lose if you've lost everything.

He thought about what Marcella had said and decided there really was no reason not to tell Kristi what had happened. He began from the point when he had followed her advice about going up to apologize to Marcella in the Hospital Wing and held no details back. He finished with what Dumbledore had said and how Marcella had come down to see him but, neither of them seemed to know why.

Scooting over to the lake, she rested, exhausted, on a log and dipped the tips of her feet in the water, removing themf rom her sandals first. Taking a deep shuddering breath, she witnessed him detail all that had happened to them and waited, almost with baited breath, as if she were actually there, for Kristi's reaction.

Kristi listened without interrupting and keeping all of her emotions at bay. When he had finished, she sat still, in complete shock. She opened her mouth to speak a few times, only to shut it again as she tried to make sense of it all. Her heart picking up pace, she stretched out her legs and sat on the edge of the bed. "Darrin was alive this whole time? And you killed him?" she asked, her voice catching in her throat.

It wasn't so much a shock that he was capable of killing, Kristi had long suspected him of it and she would have been incredibly naive to think that he hadn't at some point or at even many times in his service. But, she was sure Darrin hadn't even been himself. Surely something could have been done to rid him of his possession apart from killing him. She shook her head and was grateful that her father remained silent.

"Okay, so you aren't supposed to see Marcella because it's going to be hard on her when you go away? That's rubbish. If Dumbledore was worried abotu that, then he should have forbidden you from seeing me, too. Who cares if you obey him now, anyway? You're going to Azkaban, there's nothing we can do about it, even if he decides to give you up to the dementors in punishment for seeing her, you should go see her," Kristi ranted.

She smiled at Kristi's rant. Despite meaning to be and acting as selflessly as possible, she did desire to spend time with him. Lose herself and forget all of this, if only for a few fanciful hours.

Skipping a rock along the surface of the water and then putting her sandals back on, she hobbled up onto her crutches, re-entered the castle and made a direct bee-line for the dungeons and her quarters. She was going to knoc him off his feet. So what if he had murdered in the past? That was the past, this was now. She was n't completely positive he would never hurt her, but she knew Kristi was right. They had nothing left to lose, they had to live for the moment. So why tip toe around the students and everyone else.

Snape looked up at Kristi and actually laughed. As much as he abhorred the sound of it, he actually laughed. The absurdity of this entire situation was just too much. “Marcella tells me to spend time with you. You tell me to spend time with Marcella. You two think too much alike. I suppose that is why you have become friends,” he mused. “But, I think you deserve my attention more than Marcella.”

“No… Well, maybe I deserve it, you being my father and all but, we’ve never spent a lot of time with one another. I think you should spend it with Marcella. You were right in what you said to Marcella. I’ll be fine. I mean, yes, I’m concerned for you but, I don’t think I could handle your constant attention,” she said but, sensing his guilty thoughts over how he didn’t raise her properly or ever truly love her as a daughter, she continued. “That’s just not the way our relationship works. It doesn’t mean you don’t love me. You just love me differently than other fathers and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.”

Kristi walked over to her father. “Go and find her. It doesn’t matter if you’re going to be locked up in Azkaban, you owe it to Marcella to tell her how you feel. You seemed to manage just fine with me,” she laughed tugging on his hands to get him to rise and then pushing him toward the door.

Taking a final deep breath, hoping to rid her body of all her pent up anxiety, she shook her arms briefly, looking down at the purple rode she were wearing. It striked her as odd, that she had chosen to wear the same robe that she wore when Darrin had taken her to a Yule Ball back at Durmstrang but she reasoned that it wasn't exactly the same.

The collar, that went down into a point, just before where her chest started, was embroidered with gold and silver, the sleeves too, were long and elegant, finishing just before the tips of her fingers, were also laced in gold and silver trimming. Confident that is hugged her hips in the way it was meant to, she briefly licked her lips, checking that the gloss was still there and then set out of the door, using only one of her crutches to hobble along with.

It did strike her as extremely odd, that Dumbledore would agree to an outing like this, given her state and what he had done, but she was determined to be grateful for it and not disappoint her God-Father. After all, he was giving her chance to prove that their relationship was more than just a superficial and convenient fling.

Rounding the corner, a strand of her curled hair dangling into her eye, she blinked twice, not quite believeing what she saw. Checking that her black hair was still fixed up tightly, she ran her tongue over her lips one last time, nervously, before stepping toward Snape.

Kristi rambled on a fair bit but, Snape took in every word she had said. He was still thinking about the various points she had made when he unexpectedly felt her tugging on his hands. He stood up, thinking she were about to hug him when he then found himself shoved out the door. He turned around but, the little minx had shut the door and locked it. Stubborn was what that girl was. Always thought she knew best, he laughed to himself at how amused Marcella would be if she were listening to his thoughts.

Marcella... what was he going to say to her? Would she even want to see him after the way he had acted? No sooner had the thoughts crossed his mind then he saw her hobbling down the hallway on one crutch. He watched as she stopped, evidently surprised to see him but, she continued her labored walk down the corridor. Unsure as to whether she was really here to see him or not, Snape took a few tentative steps toward her. He stepped in front of her and reached out a hand, as an offer of help.

As he waited for her reaction he suddenly noticed her appearance. She was dressed in the finest robes he had ever seen on her and it seemed as if she had gone to great lengths to fix her hair. She even seemed to be wearing a touch of makeup. Marcella had always looked beautiful but, now, she was absolutely breathtaking, despite the crutch and the fading bruises. He could just hear Kristi in his head telling him to tell Marcella how he felt about her but, his voice was nowhere to be found.

Leaning on the offered arm, she smiled politely, placing her crutch on the opposite hand. Flicking the dangling bit of hair behind her ear, she struggled to find her voice in amongst the great amount of tension that seemed to be between them. At first, she coughed, her throat dry, she swallowed hard and then said,

"Dumbledore thought it would be appropriate to allow me the liberty of some freedom, after my, I mean, our ordeal. He's said I can visit Hogsmeade, aided of course. I want you to be my aide."

Snape moved closer to her side in order to better support her as she leant on his proffered arm. He looked down at her, entranced. She wanted him to accompany her to Hogsmeade as her aide? He wanted to tell her that he would gladly escort her but it seemed he was still having trouble vocalizing.

Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he spoted a crack in the door he had just exitted. Snape could just make out Kristi's eyes, shining with humour as her hand stuck out of the small opening and made a shooing motion. He smiled slightly and looked down at Marcella, "Shall we go then?"

Scoffing, a grin emerging onto her face, she spoke, astonished, "Do you not see how I am dressed?" Correcting herself at the obvious glazed look in his eyes, she smiled politely, without gloat and responded, "I've made an effort. You have made none. Therefore we are not equal. Perhaps one of those robes Kristi purchased for you would be satisfactory for the occassion."

"I suppose I could go change," Snape frowned a bit but, turned to the door which led to his quarters, Marcella in tow.

As he opened the door he turned back to look at Marcella. "Did you want to wait out here? Or, you could have a seat inside and I can use the washroom to change in," he said, feeling rather discommodius.
