This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.
This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.
If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much. | |

For some reason his word made her feel dramatically empty. It wasn't that she didn't believe them and neither was it because she didn't want to believe them. But because of what had happened. Her eyes trailing over to the boy's body, she fell to the ground without warning and creeped toward him, her fingertips grasping his wrist, the tips suspending above the veins, knowing what she did next would determine whether or not they could continue their relationship in the way they wanted to. "There is no point," she choked, tightening her grip on Darrin and feeling for a pulse, "There is no point in breaking each other once more." Turning, allowing Darrin's arm to drop on the floor, the skin smacking against the ground she stuttered, "He's dead...you murdered him. No sooner are you out of Azkaban, it looks like you're about to go back in!" | |

Snape watched Marcella moved to Darrin and took his wrist in her hand, confirming his act of murder. It made him wonder why noone had come to take him away, yet. Surely he and Marcella had been talking for quite some time after the unregrettable event. But, she was right, he was going back and there would be no getting out of a full lifetime sentence this time. He had used the Killing Curse and even if it had been in self defence, he would be put away. Yet, looking down at the dead man's body, he still couldn't feel any remorse or regret for what he had done. It was worth the price to have had the chance to pay him back a little for what he had done to Marcella and himself. The only thing he regretted was having killed him too quickly. "Very well," he said and moved to the door once more. "I'll go and inform the Headmaster that I am ready to turn myself over."

Snape stood tall, Marcella clinging to his arm, and looked at the Headmaster as he stepped through the blasted door. He had that expression on his face. That calm one he wore when he was disappointed and concerned but, didn't want you to know that, yet. He would be looking for an explanation and would probably force Snape to tell him everything that happened so that he could nod and grunt and avoid looking at him, like he always did. Unless he thoguht Snape was holding back, in which case, Dumbledore would bore his eyes into Snape's, much like the Dark Lord would do, only the Headmaster's gaze always seemed even more intense and frightening.

He sneered at Dumbledore as the man seemed to be merely vocalizing Snape's own thoughts. "I don't expect you to save me again," he said, icily, regretting that he had ever required any saving. "And he deserved it for what he had done; what he was doing, to your own God-daughter. All I've done is to follow your orders and protect Marcella. I'm sorry if you do not approve of my methods," he continued, answering the Headmasters accusatory eyes.

Snape's lips seemed to disappear, his face reddened and his fists clenched in his anger and effort not to lash out. He still had some amount of control over his emotions and for some reason, he felt determine to prove it. Slowly, he managed to relax and his quiet, calculating, sneering demeanor returned before he ventured to respond. "I am not altogether unaware of the inappropriateness of my relationship with Marcella," he said.

Snape was surprised when Dumbledore physically pushed him into a chair and stood over him. "Again, I ask, how does delaying the ministry help at all? If the relationship is to end now, how does keeping me around make it any less painful for Marcella? Would it not be more painful for me to stay here, available to her yet, forbidden?"
He was suspicious of Dumbledore to say the least. The man may be fighting on the side of good, whatever that meant, yet he thought very much like the Dark Lord. The two most powerful wizards of the age liked to think they knew everything and what was best for everyone. They also seemed to enjoy manipulating people into further their own agendas. The difference between the two was that the Dark Lord didn't care whether or not you wanted to do his will and Dumbledore liked to convince you it was what you wanted so that you willingly submitted to his wishes.

Snape was taken aback by the news that Dumbledore had been afraid of losing Marcella when he had been taken away before. But, he wondered if that had more to do with Darrin and his curse of which perhaps the headmaster knew nothing? That was an interesting thought. "I do not deny that her life is of greater value than my own. But, I still do not see how my remaining will make it any easier on her," he said, wearily. Now that he had been sitting for a bit, the exhaustion from the duel swept over him and he suddenly became aware of all the major and minor aches, pains, and injuries that he had aquired.

Snape's gaze wandered over to Marcella. He knew she had been severely tortured, as he had witnessed much of it, but she had been arguing with him so ferociously, that it had slipped his mind. But, now he realized that she hadn't spoken up at all while he and Dumbledore were discussing her within her hearing. She must be more severely injured than he had originally thought to not have spoken up at all. Snape turned his gaze back to Dumbledore and reluctantly conceded. "For her sake," he said. "What do you want me to do?"

Snape watched as Dumbledore fiddled and spoke with Marcella. So, he was supposed to be strong for her and give no indication that he had spoken with Dumbledore. How was he supposed to do that and end their relationship at the same time? But, for fear of Marcella hearing, he did not voice his concerns. He would wait until Dumbledore was finished.

Snape still didn't know what Dumbledore wanted him to do but, he got up and went to Marcella's side anyway. He put a soothing hand on her forehead. "Shhh... just lie back and rest. I'm sure Madame Pomfrey will be here to take care of you shortly," he said, looking around to see where Dumbledore had wandered off to.
