This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.

This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.

If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much.

Snape took a deep breath. "When is this appeal?" he asked.

Kristi heard the door to Snape's room open and shut. She sat up, hoping it was Marcella with some news. She was surprised to see Darrin standing there instead. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Today, which is why I came. Moral support and all that.." she replied, rolling her eyes, feeling unappreciated.

"Just got back from running an errand." he said, moving into the room and sitting on the bed next to her. "You look beaten up about something, what's wrong?" he asked, moving a piece of her hair out of her face.

Snape leaned forward at this announcement. "Why didn't you tell me before?" he asked, placing an arm about her waist and hugging her. It was the most uplifting news he'd heard in a long time, even if it was useless to think it would get him out of here permanently, the prospect of leaving even for a few minutes gave him strength.

"I don't know," Kristi replied dejectedly. "I just can't make up my mind. No matter what Marcella decides, I'm going to hate the outcome. I should have just stayed 'dead'. Then, I'd be far away from here and all this crap. I'd be blissfully unaware of anything that was going on here."

As Archie had the rest of the day off he spent the time sitting out on the stone steps outside the oak front doors. Here he sat in thought. Did Marcella really mean what she had said earlier? Would Snape be freed? if so what would happen then?

Wincing, she hugged him back and then let go, holding her side, feeling the flesh throb where his finger tips had pressed against her skin. "I tried to tell you, but you yourself too worked up about Remus, to let me finish talking." she told him, still wincing from the pain.

"Dead?" replied Darrin thickly. "You were dead? How? Why?" he asked, completley baffled, his mind thrown by the way she spoke.

Snape looked down at Marcella with concern. "What's the matter?" he asked as he tried to pry her hands away from her sides so he could see for himself.

"I wasn't really dead. It was a potion... well, several potions, actually. I was bored and was experimenting and one of them was off. I wasn't in the best of moods when I was brewing it and I messed up. That's when the idea came to me and so when Marcella finally found me I got her to give me this other potion. It interacted with the botched potion I had already taken and sunk me under so that I appeared for all intents and purposes dead. Then, when I woke up, I ran away. I figured with me out of the way, Snape and Marcella could be happy with one another and I wouldn't have to see it. Unfortunately, I stopped at my father's cottage along the way and who should I bump into but Marcella and Snape. And, I ended up confronting them rather than sneaking away like I should have."

Kristi stared at the wall in front of her as she spoke. It was a wonderful tale of stupidity. Of course, none of it would have happened if Marcella hadn't shown up at Hogwarts. Or, if Kristi had been able to remain in the shadows observing Marcella rather than befriending her. What a mess she'd made of things.

"That girl really knows how to mess things up," he said, referring to Marce and holding onto Kristi suppoertively, "But really. None of this would've happened if your father had been able to keep his hands off her." he scowled, his anger and jealousy seeping through his concerned face.

"Oh, it's nothing..." she said, dismissing his worries, pulling her shirt down further over her side, leaning down slightly as she did so. remembering the scar on her head, she lifted a hand to it, making herself look like a right idiot. Knowing this wouldn't fool him, she gave a lopsided smile and then removed both hands, leaving him free to see what she had meant.

Snape watched as Marcella tried to cover up whatever it was at her side and then thought better of it. he reached out a hand and gently raised the bottom edge of her shirt enough to reveal the bruising. It wsn't bad but, the fact that she had tried to cover it up left him suspicious. "What happened?" he said, his eyes narrowed.

Kristi pulled away from Darrin and glared at him. "Look, I don't like the idea of Snape and Marcella being to gether any more than you do. I think it's disgusting and more than a little bit confusing. But, don't think that I'm just gonna sit here while you insult Snape like that. Archie says he was there when Snape cursed you and even Archie said you provoked him into doing it. So, as far as I'm concerned, you don't have the right to insult him. I'll insult him all I like but, you can leave right now if all you're going ot do is talk about my father like that in front of my face."

"Well, fine! Maybe I will leave then! But do you really think I was wrong in provoking him, after all he'd done to me? Punish me for it all you want, I was young, I was distrught, I was heartbroken! All my friends had died in the massacre, all I had left was her! And he took that from me! So you can punish me to make yourself feel better, but I can tell you, it'd be nowhere near as painful as I punish myself everytime I look at her, at what I cant have."

"I was in your room, you know how the floors are. Slippery and all. I fell and hurt myself, that's all." she said definately, giving him a long staring look before pulling her shirt back down and smoothing her hair over in attempt to hide the scar on her scalp.

"I don't know what you're going on about me punishing you. I understand why you provoked Snape. Would I even be talking to you if I didn't? Maybe you don't know me well enough to answer that questions so let me answer it for you: If I thought for moment that you had been in your right mind when you provoked him; you can bet you wouldn't be standing here right now because I would have chopped you up into little pieces and used you in some potion," Kristi said, standing up. "You can feel sorry for yourself all you want. It's not going to get Marcella back. You're never going to get her back. She's already made up her mind and it's going to be Archie or Snape so get over it."

"And you think I dont know that?" he growled, frustrated by the way she just wouldn't listen. "Having to hear her cry over her him, night and day. Come stay in my room over night in Grimmauld Place, just to cry and moan about how much she loved him, how much she missed, how much she hurt because of him! You're a right one to talk about self-pity Kristi. Saving Marcella from her father was the most unselfish thing I've ever done and now it seems, I've saved her life for a second time. All I want is for her to face the facts, she's going to end up doing what her father wants, whether she likes it or not."

Snape took Marcella's hand from her head and looked at what she had been trying to conceal. "I may not have all my wits about me, Marcella," he began. "But you can't think that I wouldn't notice you trying to hide this from me. My floors are not slippery and besides, you don't get these kinds of injuries from a simple fall."

"I know that..." she said, taking his hand from her head. "But that's all I can tell you. I slipped and fell." she repeated, almost robotically, hoping inside herself that he would get her true meaning and not think she were lying and be offended. Tidying her hair, folding her arms, she shrugged and mused, "I probably deserved it anyways. Someone obviously seems to want to punish me greatly, so I must have logically done something terrible to deserve all this torture."

Kristi's eyes narrowed; something wasn't right here. "So you saved Marcella from her father only to come to realize that she's going to end up serving him anyway?"

"Has he been possessing you again?" Snape asked, seriiously concerned and worried. Something wasn't right if Marcella wasn't being a pain. She was trying to tell him something but, he just couldn't figure out what it was or why she didn't just come out and say it.

Realising what he had said, the possible implications of his words, he tip-toed around the subject matter and replied, "I saved her from what her father may have done to her, in punishment. But she'll end up serving him no matter what, it's her destiny Kristi."

"Like crap it's her destiny!" Kristi yelled, indignantly. "You say you still love Marcella and yet you'd give up on her just like that? She's better off with Snape than with you if you are just gonna let her father use her like that."

"No, he's not posesseing me." said Marce, placing a light emphasis on the last word. Even though the walls of Azkaban were thick, she didn't doubt her father's capability to hear her words. Looking away from the man, she knew he knew she were trying to tell him something. But that was it, if she tried, she'd be punished. She needed him to figure it out alone, but she knew he wouldn't.

"I'm not giving up on her!" he shouted so loudly that his own eardrums vibrated. "Why wont you listen! Just because it's fate doesn't mean I want it that way! But it is and we cant change that."

On hearing her last comment, he threw his wand to the ground and pulled her roughly toward him by the collar, almost as if she were just another lad. "I would never, ever give Marce up to a life of brutality. Never. I love her." he spat, "And if I ever hear you question that again..."

Kristi was shocked and a bit scared as Darrin grabbed her. But, she schooled her expression quickly. "What are you going to do? Threaten me all you want, I don't care. As a matter of fact, why don't you just put me out of my misery right now? That way, I don't have to worry about seeing my father with Marcella or have to deal with a depressed father when Marcella choses Archie."

Raising her a little higher first, he enjoyed the scared look in her eyes and then threw her on the bed, so that she landed on her back. Slamming the door shut, he picked up his wand, pocketed it and walked toward her, his arms folded dangerously. "It pains me to think you think I'd even consider killing you. I may not be the best of men, but I would never murder." he hissed,his lips barely moving at all. Standing above her, he placed one hand to the side of her, so that he was leant over her body, causing her to become trapped.

Snape didn't know what else to say or do. Marcella was obviously struggling with something she would not or could not tell him. There was nothing else he could do so, he carefully wrapped his arms around her and said nothing.

It broke her heart to hear him think that she would choose not to confide in him. Her heart felt as if it were being tugged upon hard, and she cried out as if she were in real physical pain. But there was no wound to be seen, apart fro her broken heart. "If I could tell you and by God I wish I could, then I would Severus, believe me on that."

Kristi couldn't even begin to hide her fear as Darrin lifted her up so that her feet were barely touching the floor and then threw her onto the bed. As he leaned over her, Kristi felt as if all the air was being pushed out of her lungs. She felt trapped and she couldn't breath. Knowing that there was no way she'd be able to physically move him, Kristi went for her wand in her pocket as she yelled, "Get away from me!"

"Expelliarmus." he muttered, pocketing her wand, as he slipped his back. Leaning over her properly, climbing onto the bed on all fours, he snarled, "I told you, I dont murder. So why are you acting like you're scared of me!"
