Travis Cartwick has just recently transferred to Hogwarts, at his old school, The Academy for Protectors he was known as the heart breaker every girl wanted to date him even though they knew he would break their hearts. When he goes to Hogwarts he excepts everything to be the same and of course with his smooth charm and good looks the girls at Hogwarts fall for him. He was so happy at the school sure all the boys hated him but he had all the girls and that always made him happy, until one day he met a certain red-haired girl who simply entranced him. She didn’t fall as easily for him as all the others and soon Travis does something that he had never done before he allows himself to fall in love. Now Travis must compete with Harry Potter to win the heart of the beautiful Miss Weasley. Who will win Harry or Travis? Of course Travis can’t survive in a school full of girls who love and hate him without a partner in crime, Leslie. Leslie transferred with Travis from The Academy and has always been the one girl that hasn’t fallen in love with him, she acts as a little sister to him and keeps most of the desperate girls away. Takes place in 6th year.

Bio: Leslie is a very happy person, but she grew up being picked on by her intelligent brother, who thought she was a complete idiot, and her Seer sister, who also considered Leslie an idiot. In other words Leslie won't take anything from anyone, so don't get her mad. she has just been enrolled at Hogwarts with her best friend Travis and gets annoyed by all the girls that Travis leaves heart broken.

He smiled, and nodded. He could not stutter, for her. "Ok. I'll stop." He breathed a small sigh of relief; his stutter had thankfully spared him. But he doubted it would have mercy on him again.

The shocked look was absent from her face, although his probably still showed it. He'd barely noticed his hands, which still lay in their original positions at her waist and hair. Never in his wildest dreams had he ever imagined this happening. It was...well...magic.

Matt knew the answer. He hated the answer, but he knew it. It went against all his beliefs, but he had to say no. He couldn't be led on by the girl who'd given him hell for the past five years; to do so would technically be suicide. And even as she kissed him again, her hands finding his hair, and that familiar feeling of his stomach doing several backflips, he couldn't back down this time. He had to tell her no.

Watching her, as she pulled away once again, his gaze turned from one of wonderment to one of apology. "I can't."

Well, that could've gone better. She seemed utterly shocked, eyes wide, jaw open. He suddenly felt a rather large wave of guilt wash over him, but is was necessary. Completely necessary. But that look on her face...It was heartbreaking. "I just..." Now. Now he had to tell her. "All those years I spent pining after you, and then here we are, in a completely random situation. And back on the train...You weren't exactly the most nicest of peoples. You hit me, for petes-sake!" That's it. Yes, be tough. Be assertive for once in your life. Rejection. This was what rejection felt like. It sucked. Rejection from a dork at that. She shouldn't be upset, but she was? Her stomach was doing flips. She had never been rejected before, not once. He did have a point though, a very valid point. That didn't stop her from sobbing her eyes out which was bound to happen in a few seconds.

"Pl-..please ?"she stuttered. Now it was her turn to stutter. Then the tears came out. She looked utterly pitiful.

His heart broke; at that face, at those tears. But inside, there was a silent and uncanny anger that resfused him to feel any mercy, any pity. Had that wall not been there, he would've acted the complete oppisite to the way he was acting now. But he was a nerd, a dork, and he was sick of taking her hell. "No." he said simply, green-eyed gaze set on her's. His glare turned into one of almost apology, but before she could even respond, he was on his feet, and making his way over to his bag that had been left on the otherside of the room.

If she actually was nice to him they would probably still be kissing and probably dating but she wasn't. Amberly figured it was best to just spill everything."Matt, I'm sorry fo-..for everything I did. I really like you, a lot. I don't know how it happened but I do. Just please stay."she said in an unsteady voice.

He winced as she called his name, feeling the anger faulter slightly in his gutt. No! He couldn't stop now! He'd come this far! Backing down now would be totally and utterly stupid. And then she was gushing all this poppycock about her actually, properly, liking him. Lies. he told himself firmly, although he was beginning to doubt himself. He placed the book in his hand back into his back and slung it over his shoulder, before turning back round to face her. "I have to...I have to go and speak with Professor Linley." he said, frowing. "I'll-er-see you later, Amberly." He swallowed, moving his gaze from her tearstrewn face to the floor. He stood there for a moment, and for a second he thought he might actually change his mind, but instead, he made his way slowly and calmly from the classroom, and out of the door. Ouch.

Was Amberly begging?! Matt's face did not let on his surprise and he merely looked at her when she stopped him, his expression blank. "You don't have to do anything." he said, quietly. And it was true; he didn't want to use her like she'd done all those many times before. In some ways, she just needed to be her to make him stay. This new Amberly...He was having a hard time nort forgiving her. In fact, he almost said "I forgive you." but hastily stopped himself. "It wouldn't...It wouldn't work between us." he said finally. "I mean, look at you! You're beautiful, you're popular; and then look at me. The nerd. The dork. The guy who you've ordered around for the past five years. It's just..." He didn't really know what to say. "I loved you Amberly. I still do, but if things got serious between us... You're just not really one for committment."

He looked down at his hands she'd so desparately grabbed. He'd never seen Amberly in such a state; she really was crying. But her points, some were valid, others, such as him being smart, were not. You couldn't just love someone because they were smart. For some reason, the thought grately angered him.

A scowl settled on his features. "No! Don't you get it? You're not good for me. You're not like this. You're never like this. You date guys with muscles. You date guys with the IQ of a six year old. You don't date guys that are smart." There had to be something wrong with her. Perhaps the dust from the books had gotten to her head? Yes, that was possible. "And you don't have to change." he said, pulling his hands away from her's. He grabbed her shoulders, and pushed her up against the nearby wall. "You're Amberly. The brat. The spoilt, flirty brat. And...and yes, I maybe perhaps have feelings for you but your not supposed to return them! It isn't...It isn't...you."

Amberly had never seen him angry."so are you telling me you don't WANT me to love you ?"she said, not crying any longer. The voice she spoke in sounded like the old Amberly. It was snappy."do you want me to keep being mean to you, Matt?"she growled, looking straight up at him.

Ambelry rolled her big doll like eyes,"Matt you barely know me. you don't know what I want and what I don't want."she growled, looking at him.

"You barely know me either..." he said quietly, letting go of her shoulders and taking a step back. It was true; in someways they were complete strangers to one another. He was just the boy who followed her around like a little puppy, nothing more. After all, her reasons for loving him weren't exactly the most detailed things he'd ever heard. So far, it was only because he was smart. But, he supposed, sometimes love didn't need a reason. It was just there, like a lemon. And that kind of scared him.

"I'm sorry." he said eventually, clicking his tongue. He shouldn't have gotten angry, he shouldn't have...well...freaked out. Oh darnit. He'd officially blown it now.

Despite the tears, and the fact that her hair was slightly ruffled from their little...kissing session, there was something about the way she looked just then that caused a great wave of affection to flow through his body. "Before...I don't really know why I raged..." he said, chuckling sheepishly. "I'm weird like that. Random things can sometimes really set me off." He watched contentedly as she moved his fringe out of his face. Her fingers brushed his forehead; that familiar tingle shivered down his spine. He grinned.

He smiled back at her, green-eyed gaze steady. "I know." It was weird. Really weird. Here he was, standing only a few inches away from the girl he'd loved since forever, hand in hand, and yet he wasn't stuttering. He was glad, though. She seemed to like him more when he didn't stutter.

"You? Weird?" He let out a light chuckle and shook his head. "If you're weird then I must be completely and utterly bonkers."

She laughed lightly,"So...now that you aren't upset what are we going to do about the whole dating thing ?"Amberly said looking up at Matt.
