Travis Cartwick has just recently transferred to Hogwarts, at his old school, The Academy for Protectors he was known as the heart breaker every girl wanted to date him even though they knew he would break their hearts. When he goes to Hogwarts he excepts everything to be the same and of course with his smooth charm and good looks the girls at Hogwarts fall for him. He was so happy at the school sure all the boys hated him but he had all the girls and that always made him happy, until one day he met a certain red-haired girl who simply entranced him. She didn’t fall as easily for him as all the others and soon Travis does something that he had never done before he allows himself to fall in love. Now Travis must compete with Harry Potter to win the heart of the beautiful Miss Weasley. Who will win Harry or Travis? Of course Travis can’t survive in a school full of girls who love and hate him without a partner in crime, Leslie. Leslie transferred with Travis from The Academy and has always been the one girl that hasn’t fallen in love with him, she acts as a little sister to him and keeps most of the desperate girls away. Takes place in 6th year.

Well, she was eager. He raised her eyebrows at her curiously but said nothing of it. "Yeah, a-always." he said, indicating to the bag that was slung over his shoulder. She had known where it was because she had many snogging sessions with her old boyfriends here. Amberly sat down on a dusty desk."Ew."she said, seeing the dust. She then looked over at Matt,"So...?"

Matt watched as she sat down, letting his bag slip further down his arm. Even with the dirty desk, her beauty was unfailing. He blinked, clearing his head. Right. Studying. Clearing his throat, he walked over to another table and placed his bag on top of it, before turning his back on it and leaning up against the desk. "What subject do you need to study for?" He couldn't help but remember seeing Amberly in this very same classroom last term, with another one of her boyfriends. He swallowed anxiously, green eyes wide.

Astonomy: his favourite subject. "The science of the stars..." he said, to no one in particular, a small, contented smile on his face. His gaze found Amberly again, and there she was, looking up at him. Waiting to study. Clearing his throat (and trying to remain in control of his hormones) he turned away from her and back to his bag, before reappearing with a large blue book, edged with golden thread. "Here." he said, that small smile still on his face, struggling to stay upright. "This should be all we need."

Matt grinned. "Yeah..." he said, absently running his hands through his hair. It was an insult not said in spite, which was odd for Amberly. She usually took every opputunity to put him down. Maybe her evilness didn't go as deep as he thought? And that laugh...He could feel his insides melting.

He followed her gaze towards the corner, sensing she wanted to go and sit over there. Bit of a dark place to study, but oh well. If she went there, he would follow. "How about over there?" he said, indicating to where she was looking with a nod of his head.

Amberly nodded her head, walking to the corner. She let out a sigh sitting down on a desk. She looked over at Matt who had followed her. He wasn't that bad when he wasn't stuttering. He was actually kind of cute...

WAIT? WHAT ?!?!Amberly's mind screamed. What was she thinking...? Surely she was not in the right mental state.

Matt grinned again. If only he could see inside her mind; if only he could truly understand what went on inside of it. Now that would be a discovery. Producing another book from his bag and tucking it under his arm, he followed her over, before taking a seat beside her, green eyes wide. He'd been good so far; he was in his element. Studying. He never seemed to stutter whenever studying was involved. Yay!

"Astonomy..." He wracked his brains, trying to remeber what they'd studied the lesson before. "Star signs." he said eventually. "When's your birthday?" God, she was beautiful.

"Febuary 14th."she said. Yeah, her birthday was on Valetines day. She hated it. It just was not fun having her birthday then."Are you going to look up our horoscopes and see if we would be good together ?"she said, smirk on her angel face. It was a serious question, why else would he ask her birthday? Well..unless he wanted to give her a present but her birthday wasn't for a while..

"Valentines Day?" he said, unable to stop himself. He was sure many people had said that before him, and by the look on her face she was obviously not happy about it. "Sorry." he said hastily, an anxious smile passing across his features. "You've probably heard that a billion times before." Clearing his throat he turned his attention back to the book, unable to stop himself chuckling at what she said next. It was a nervous chuckle. "Er-No." he said, raising his eyebrows at her. "Star signs; Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Leo... They all come down to when your birthday is. We're studying why that is in Astronomy. But...horoscopes can also be used to see if two people would make a good match..."

He frowned, a grin still plastered onto his expression. "I don't know." He shook his head at his own stupidity, letting out a light chuckle, before flicking a couple of pages through the book. He was desparately searching for the contents, but with Amberly sitting so closely beside him, he was finding it uncannily hard to concentrate.

"You're sorry for snapping?" Since when did Amberly ever apologise? "Na, I should apologise. Y-you're definitely not st-stupid." Oh lordy. Here comes the stutter. "Anyway..." he said, hastily clearing his throat. "My sign?" He shrugged. "I've never really been into all that. Horoscopes are all nonsense to me. I'm much more interested in why the stars are positioned in such a way that they make pictures." He smiled, "It's fascinating."

"Of course you're allowed to be sorry." he said, shooting her a grin. "I just never really thought apologising was y-your thing." It was true; he'd never heard her apologise before.

What. WHAT. Was her head on his shoulder?! Matt swallowed nervously, leaning back against the wall, trying to ignore the blonde's close proximity. "Stars..." he said, clearing his throat. "Yeah..." His cheeks turned a light pink, "My stuttering..." He shrugged, "It kinda sucks." He clicked his tongue. "It only happens when I get nervous, though..." he said, trailing off.

Yes.

He doubted he'd ever been happier. Here he was, Matt, kissing Amberly, properly, the girl he'd loved since...forever. One hand found her waist while the other found her hair. His fingers became intertwined, making throuroughly sure that he didn't pull it. It was soft, like silk. And she wasn't even grimacing, like before. But he knew, deep down, that she wasn't doing this because she loved him. She was doing it out of spite. Because that was who she was. But right now, that didn't matter. He could mope about it later.

It was certainly a good kiss, it made her want another one but first she had to get over what just happened. A thought then processed through her head. Nice, smart boys = loving, rich husbands. Matt's brain had officially stopped working. Had that just happened? Had that just really happened? He couldn't even get out an Uh. He'd almost been slightly disappointed when Amberly had pulled back, but had squashed that rather odd feeling instantly. But she was a good kisser; you couldn't blame him for wanting more.

The place where she kissed him burned, leaving his cheek tingling. What she said next came as an even bigger surprise. "Thanks." he said, grinning sheepishly, feeling slight colour come to his cheeks. "Y-you too." Ok. He wanted to literally kill his stutter, right now. Why couldn't it just go and die in a hole? Was it really too much to ask?
