HISTORY:
Advika was born to Ishir and Idika Yadav in Mumbai, close enough to the Aurangabad ruins where they were living for her dad’s archeological research. From a young age, Advi was taught to love the past. Ishir would bring his wife and daughter with him to work - where he would teach his young daughter all about ancient history, give her small brushes to ‘assist’ with unearching rocks while he pulled up treasures (under the careful eye of her mother). A passion for history and ancient artifacts was established and she’d decided at age 8 she wanted to pursue something similar. Advika, born to two muggles, had had no idea of her magical heritage and intended to go to muggle schools to study - but at age 11 she received a letter from Koldostov inviting her to study there. She was not interested, and wanted to just attend muggle school, but with great difficulty her dad was able to figure out there were other options for her - such as an exchange program at Castelobruxo in Brazil.
Advi was still nervous to go, even more so now that she would be traveling so far from her parents, but the amazon rainforest where Castelobruxo was located held such promise of ruins and study that most interested her, she decided it was worth a shot and agreed to go. She spent the majority of her first year pouting, as the ruins she’d been most excited to see ended up being the magic castle she now called home and a ruse for non magical like she had believed herself to be. But as the year went by, she found a passion for the different subjects offered as a witch - particularly an interest in the foreign languages and ancient runes.
By the time her first term ended, she was in love with the school without a doubt in her mind she would be returning. And such went on her school years, with friends coming and going and every summer spent taking muggle classes in order to keep her options open in terms of higher education. She knew she wanted to do something founded in archeology, but was torn between journalism, participating in digs, or research on what had already been unearthed. Curse breaking was something of interest for her for a while as well, but she steered away from that the more her interests focused in research and journalism.
By the time she had graduated, Advi had decided on Euro-Glyph School of Extraordinary Languages where she would major in Hieroglyphics and minor in a journalism program offered. For her study, she chose to remain in South America and relocated to Caracas, Venezuela in order to attend the campus there. After two uneventful years of study, she applied for a few internships and was astounded when she was offered a paid position assisting at her Dad's old dig site. She accepted immediately and put in for a transfer to Wizarding University in Mumbai to finish out the remainder of her studies. The best decision, as this was where she met her now husband, Suresh.
Now that the couple has moved to Wales, Advi found herself a position as a researcher with the National Museum of History, specializing in hieroglyphic translation.

That was indeed a much better aspect to look at things from and Suresh would be happy to begin thinking of them in that manner. He just simply loved how much his and Advi’s family showered the little one with all the affection. Lakshmi would never grow up feeling unloved.
Oh yes. Suresh indeed would second that! Obviously he currently had no inkling of the secret that was being kept but any children of his and Advi would always receive much love and attention.
As curious as he was, Suresh spared his goddess of a wife an equally curious glance. What was she up to? Shaking his head with a smile, he crossed over to the table and reached for the bag that sat innocently there. He opened the bag to carefully remove the tissue. Sur took a moment to peer in before actually dipping a hand into the bag. Once the onesie was retrieved, he shook it out and held it at eye level. The words stared at him and his eyes suddenly widened. Digging into the bag once more, just to be sure he didn’t miss anything, his fingertips came in contact with the test device. The man studied the lines there and a second later, his lips were curving into a wide, happy grin.
“Baby number two!” Suresh managed as he rushed over to Advika amidst a flurry of emotions. He needed to throw himself {carefully} at her to catch her in an embrace.
That was something Advika would firmly agree on. Lakshmi, and this new baby, would never want for love. They were adored and everyone was expressive in showing their firstborn as such, and would do the same to the second born. Of that, she was certain.
At his look, Advika just grinned at him, leaning forward to retrieve a forgotten cuppa from earlier that she quickly reheated with magic so that she could sip at it while she watched him. She kept herself busy with a sip here and there, so as not to spoil her own surprise and blurt out the information she was so excited for him to have. When he retrieved the onesie, with widened eyes, her own excitement mounted too and she put down her tea so she could stand. When he retrieved the test as well, the smile that lit his face was the one she'd just been hoping to see. Advi gave a giggle at it, and by the time he was headed to her she had also taken some steps towards him.
"I went to the doctor and confirmed it today." She said happily, her own grin wide as she directed it at him.

It certainly was a good thing that Advi did not spoil the surprise for Suresh enjoyed finding them out on his own. Needless to say this recent one made his heart stretch to the moon and back with happiness and excitement. He definitely would have picked Advika up and spin her all around but the only thought that held him back from doing so was his fear of hurting either her or their baby. Suresh wrapped his arms around her, beaming down at the wifey as she spoke up. “I’m beyond happy right now.” His voice may have cracked with the heavy emotions. “I get to be a papa again.” This time, there was a note of wonder in the man’s tone.
Shaking himself out of his joyous reverie, Suresh pulled Advika into a tight embrace before kissing her on the forehead. “Lakshmi is going to have fun being an older sister. She gets to teach the little one all her mischievous ways.” Would he be ready for two mischievous kids? Probably not but Sur knew for sure he would love them both with all his heart!
