I noticed Ephram sitting with the 6th yer, I gave him a smile, he smiled back. "Someone got a crush?" Kira asked next to me. "No" I said and hit her playfull on the arm.

Mc Gonagall's speech ran for it's normal length, there was very little mentioned about the whereabouts of Rachel, besides her wishing the luck to some exchanged students and most of the Gryffindors looked around for her.
"It's been a rough year for our school, we have had dementor attacks and lost teachers, but through it all there has been a unity I am proud of. The unity between students is key in future of our wizarding world. Have a safe summer and a safer return next year" Mc Gonagall nodded as everyone clapped.

"NOw for the buisness about the House Cup" She said a bit too solomly for my liking. "This year Slytherin has taken the cup with 475 points, Gryffindor in second with 450 points,-" "Sorry" Jason mumbled. "Hufflepuff in 3rd with 382 points, and Ravenclaw with 295 points." She said, the Gryffindors all looked a bit sad, but clapped anyway. Harriet had a smile on her face, I just rolled my eyes.

We all had our stuff outside, the train was running, and everyone was beggingin to board, Ephram was standing next to me, the wind blowing his hair, I smiled and looked up at him. "This is going to be interesting" I said to myself.

I dragged my luggage aboard the train and stood on my tip toes trying to push it into the top of the compartment. The load suddenly got lighter as another hand helped push the bag into place - I smiled and turned to see Michael.
"Looked like you need a hand," he said.
"Thanks," I grinned.
"So," he looked towards Stevie and Ephram then back, "What are you doing this summer?"
"Going to Egypt," I sighed, "You?"
"Eh, just staying home as always," he smiled and I looked down at my feet, "Well, stay in touch!" he said and walked off.

"What was that git doing in here?" I asked, stepping inside the comparment, Kneazle in one arm and my trunk in the other. Kira turned to me,
"Never you mind!" She sighed. I rolled my eyes, before placing Kneazle down and put my trunk up, then sat down opposite Kira, next to the window. "What makes him a git?"
"Oh please, he whines, he sulks and he acts like a no-it-all" I said simply.
"I meant him, not you" Kira rebuttled.
"Halarious" I said scathingly. "B's just saying goodbye to Alex, she should be here soon. Where's Stevie?" The moment I said this I looked out the window to see Stevie boarding the train with Ephram. "Oh, whats she doing with that git?"

"Is that your new favorite term?" Kira asked with a laugh. "Please" Will said and rolled his eyes. "He's too old for her anyway" He said and boarded the train.

"Says you," I smiled, Will looked like he was about to say something but stopped as Stevie and Ephram walked over.
There was a short silence until Ephram asked, "So, what were you guys talking about?"
"Nothing," Will responded quickly as B walked over, giving Alex one last wave and all the doors to the Hogwarts Express shut.

((Ooc: oh, so I get back by the time the RP is over? what an irony... I haven't yet started not one of the rp's so I'll start this one... I guess our 5th year is over now!))

ooc: Sounds great B! Wow, seeing as our fifth year if over (and we caught up with the books!) it seems like ages ago that I wandered into the RPG forum and found a little rpg called 'Life if like a river' with only two members, Stevie and Kira! Woah, didn't think I would remember that!

OOC: I remember my first post, I was trying to steal Ron's wand! Muaha and then I went to Stevie's and Harry was still alive, awwwww. So are we ending right here then?

ooc: My first post was when I came running out of Florrish and Blotts and hugged you both, I had just got my wand, with a feather of a Hippogriff. I'll end it off nicely is no one else wants too...

The train began to pull away as Stevie, Kira, B, Ephram and myself remained in our carriage. The scottish hills rushed past us as we took up speed and I watched the great lake dissapear into the distance.
"What's his interest in Stevie, anyway?" I whispered to B as the other three chatted away.
"That's pretty obvious, even for you" B muttered. I looked at Stevie and Ephram chatting away, it reminded me of Rachel and I a few weeks ago, just chatting away happily. I didn't know if it was because I had thought of Rachel, or because Stevie was happy and I wasn't, but a pain in my gut twisted. I felt in my pocket and pulled out a necklace, I hadn't relised it was in there. It had a letter on the end in the shape of a 'K' but it had been bent over into an 'R'. I had given it to Rachel for Christmas. I opened the window and dropped it out, watching it fall to the sides on the rail road then sat back down.
"What was that?" Stevie asked me.
"Nothing" I said simply, then whispered "It's in the past".
But I knew that was a lie, our pasts had shaped us all, that's why Stevie was so brave, because of Harry, why Kira was so funny, because of Ron, and why B was so generous, because she earnt everything she ever had, our childhoods had made us who we where.
It was then that I relised that what had shaped me most wasn't my mother, but my loss. My Dad and, now, Rachel had shaped me, and as I looked to Stevie laughing one more time I thought to myself, will I ever love again?
