ooc: Double Post

I felt someone touch me, I immediately woke up Kira was standing atop of me as I figured.
"Hi" she said with a slight smile.
"Did I wake you?" She asked me.
"Yea" I said sitting up.
"But thats ok" I said looking up at her.
"Will said he was sorry" She said.
"Yea well after you've hurt someone, its pretty hard to accept an apology from someone who wouldnt even give it to me himself." I said and turned away.

Me and B sat on the couch, slightly buried in the wrapping paper left behind from all the presents.
"Get anything good?" She asked me lazily.
"Nah" I groaned "just books" She laughed at me, although it was muffled by some more paper. I pulled it off her face. "What did Alex get you?"
"What did Rachel get you?" She laughed back.
"Shut up!" I laughed.
"Wonder if Stevie's coming down" She groaned.
"What's up with you two?" I asked her, nervously "You seem to be different...you use to be closer then both me and kira was to her, and now you seem...distant"

I came down the stairs, butterflies swarming around in my stomach. I went and sat down in one of the chairs I just glanced around. There were presents under the tree for me, I grabbed one from my grandparents, It was thin and in an evenlope sp? I opened it up and inside was a roundtrip plane ticket to their house for a week.

I looked over to Stevie, she caught my eye and looked at me for a second.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Hey" She smiled back. We both knew what ever we had been arguing about could be dealt with later.
"What's that?" I asked. She held up the ticket, I bit my lip nervoulsy. "Oh...y-you think Mc Gonagall will be okay with letting you out of school?"
"What?" Kira asked, coming down the stairs aswell.
"Stevie's got a plane ticket...and it's during school. I mean, you have already missed a lot of lessons with the whole muggle thing and this is meant to be our owl year".
"Why are you always thinking about school?" Kira asked, eating a chocolate frog "it's hardly healthy!"
"Niether's eating chocolate instead of breakfast"

I just looked down, "I dunno, I guess I'll ask her what she thinks, I mean I dont think a week would hurt, Owls are important, but.. this is kind of as well." I said looking at the tickets again.
I sighed, "Anyway. what did all of you get?" I asked.

"A jumper, some sweets... a book," I said as if it were some foreign thing.
I looked to Stevie, "I've never met your grandparents..."
"They're okay," Stevie shrugged and I looked from her to the ticket.

I looked over at the pile of books under some paper,
"Books" I muttered dully.
"Interesting" Kira said, obviously trying hard not to laugh. "This plane thingy" Kira started "Goes in the sky doesn't it?"
I feel off the couch laughing.
"You've never been in a plane?" I asked.
"No" All three girls said together.
"I did once, when I went to Australia for a holiday with mum!" I told them "It's really fun, although it is a bit boring!"

"My Grandparents know nothing of me going to a magic school, theyre muggles just like my mum, and mum always told them I went to public school" I said my lips pursed.

I looked at Stevie a tilted my head.
"Don't worry, I am sure that Mc Gonagall can organise a ministry team to be dispatched for the memory lase...why are you all staring at me?" I asked as they all looked confused "Oh come on! You know what it is! The ministry sends the memory lase to all muggle families, my grandparents had it. They will learn everything about the magic world"
"Really?" B said, shocked.
"Yep!" I grinned "And if they go all crazy they can reverse it and try another method!"
"Crazy?" Stevie asked, looking pale.
"Rarley happens!" I reassured her, laughing slightly.

I just glanced at him
"No Thanks" I said.
"I really dont care whether they know or not, they dont really like wizards pur-sa" I said and smiled.
"They let me do what I want, I'm fine with that" I said standing up.

I laughed thinking over what Will had said while looking at my chocolate frog cards. I sat up then looked up to Stevie. I thought of visiting Hagrid for a second, I had completely forgotten about how he was gone until I looked out the window to his empty hut.
I sighed, "They're not like the Dursleys? Are they, your grandparents? My dad told me about the time he phoned them..."

I frowned slightly at Kira,
"Not all muggles are that bad!" I told her.
"Don't be too sure" B laughed.
"Well, the only time you met muggle's where when you stayed at that orphanage right?" I asked "Ofcoarse they are grumpy in that line of work".
"What you reading?" Stevie asked, looking at one of books I had on my lap.
"Mien Kramph!" I exclaimed.
"Bless you" Kira said.
"No! That's the name of the book, it's Bulgarian. I guess mum wants me to learn Krum's native language...can't wait" I muttered dully.

I just looked at Will,
"He's so dumb Will, he doesnt even like you" I said looking at my plane ticket.
"Yes he does, he just doesnt know how to show it" Will said crossing one of his lips over as he thought.
"Well If your mom is happy that's all that matters" B said fiddeling with wrapping paper.
"Yea.." Will said pretty distant.

I continued to read through the book as time seemed to past quickly, by about lunch time I noticed how hungry we all were.
"Wanna head down to lunch?" I asked them all "I bet heaps of people will be there, like Alex and Rachel and all the professor's!"
"Oh golly good!" Kira laughed "Maybe we can discuss the upcoming exams"
"It would do you a world of good to do that" I said, taking her seriously. "Come on, I'm starving!" I sighed getting up.

I sat at the table, I was kind of drifting away thinking about other things. I had a chocolate frog sitting on my plate, I picked it up and opened it, Inside was a card, I dropped it when I looked at the picture, picking it up again i stuided it, It was my father, I hadent seen a picture of him in so long, He smiled at me and pushed a piece of his fringe away.
"Dad" I whispered to myself. Just then I had an idea and I ran upstairs to the common room. Serching through my trunk, just then I found it. Inside was a projector machine, I locked the door and set it up, I started playing Old movies.
The first reel I put in was of me at my 6th birthday.

"Honey, be careful!" My father said as 6 year old me went around a riding ring on my pony.
"I'm fine, Daddy!" I said with a laugh. When I went back around. I halted and Dad picked me off.
"Come on, I think Mummy's made you a cake!" He said holding me,
"Wave Hi to Mummy!" Harry said.
"Hi Mummy!" I said waving to the camera.

"Stevie! What is that?" Kira asked.
"Huh?" I said turning around, I quickly wiped wetness of my cheeks.
"Oh, just something..." I said staring at the screen again.

"Dam stairs!" I complained, as B managed to help up the last bit of the slide "I don't know why they bother with them anymore!" She laughed as we walked into the room. A projector was set up against the wall, and Stevie was sitting on her bed watching. The other three of us sat with her.
"Wow, look at the cake mummy made! Wow!" Harry grinned wildly. "Happy Birthday sweetie" The camera waved over to show a young B.
"Nice dress" I scoffed to see her in a bright pink dress.
"Shut up!" She snapped.
"Here come the guests!" Jennifer, Stevie's mother, could be heard saying off camera. The camera panned again to see my mother, Ron, Kira and I, standing at the back door with presents.
"What's with your teeth?" B laughed.
"Shut up! I didn't have braces until I was older" I said looking at the big teeth with great disgust "You can blame my mum for them!" The others laughed, but I noticed Stevie was watching her father with great sadness. "You alright?" I asked, putting an arm over her.

I nodded then looked back to the screen,
Harry, Why didnt you have her change, she's still in those filthy riding clothes... I heard my mother say to my father. Harry just smiled, "She's beautiful anyway" He said with a grin.

While we watched Kira was brushing my hair and putting it into a french pony tail. I looked at Will on screen.
"Will you were cute" I said to him. He just kept watching,
"Love the dress Kira!" B said with a smile. Kira was wearing a blue party dress, her hair in bows.
"Please tell me we didnt dress like this becasue we wanted to.."Will said with a pitiful look.
"Stevie, at least you didnt have to wear an itchy uncomfortable dress." Kira said smugly.
I smiled, "I did look comfy didnt i?" I said with a grin.

"More comfortable then ours, anyway!" I said laughing as I looked the young me scratching all over. "At least now I know why I don't like pink." I felt the mark on my arm itch. I scratched it a bit. I was still so mad at myself for getting it. My grandmother should be proud! I said to myself and grinned, turning my eyes back to the screen. I saw the little Will look at me very ofter. It looked to me like he was afraid of me. "Hey Will, you didn't like me much then, did you?" I asked, slapping him gently and friendly on the back.

I laughed and stopped doing Stevie's hair to watch Will looking at B rather nervously on the projection screen. I watched as I tried to sneak a piece of cake but was pulled away by my dad, he never failed at catching me when I was that age.
I smiled and sat down, "Enjoy the girls dorms, don't you Will?" I joked, then looked back to the projector. I was looking for someone, but I couldn't find her anywhere.

I rolled my eyes as I continued to see the young Will look over at B with a very odd look on his face.
"What is it?" B said, looking at me finally "Why didn't you like me?"
"I dunno" I grinned "You where the 'new girl'!" I crawled over the other side of Stevie's bed and looked in the trunk, taking out a few other roles of films that she had. "How long have you had these?" I asked.
"When Mum died" Stevie said.
"Woah, your parents wedding, a day at the zoo, Will's going away party" I stopped and looked at it, it must have been from when Mum and I left the countryside for the city after Dad had been taken to Azkaban. She couldn't afford to keep the Malfoy manor anymore and needed a better job, "So what other films you got?"

I looked through my trunk,
"Just about every holiday there ever was" I said. Just then Will pulld out a role called "Funeral"
"Whats this?" He asked.
"Nothing" I said and put it back.
"Can we watch it?" Kira asked.
"Whatever" I said and got up and went to the window.

I threw the film in and moments later regretted it as the image of a church came up with a casket at the front. I could see Dumbledore standing beside it, his head bowed and relised instantly that this must have been from before he died at the end of our first year.
Then I saw my mother and Jennifer crying, with Ron by there side and it hit me that it must have been Harry's funeral.
"How bout we turn it off?" I snapped, leaning over and switching it off. I took it out and looked at the canister, why would anyone record this? It wasn't a memory anyone would ever want to keep. "Stevie?" I asker nervously, looking at her "Y-you alright?"

"Its a news reel Will": B said speaking up, she hadent moved her eyes from the screen. I turned around, "Why would we tape a thing like this?" I asked Will. "My mom taped it off tv" I said. "I dont know why.." I stopped. "Sometimes I think my mom was in on my dads death"

I grabbed the film from the machine and threw it to the ground, then brought my foot on it, smashing it into hundreds of pieces.
"Will!" Kira gasped as I did this.
"Your mother wasn't in on it!" I said "Don't think that, don't let him make you become paranoid. If it's anyone's fault it's Draco's! We all know that!"
Stevie turned around and stared at the pieces on the floor. I looked over her, to outside the window.
"The sun is starting to set, who wants to go get Christmas dinner?" B said quickly, her voice changing as she tried to lift up the mood.
