ooc: Really? I didn't know! Yay for me!!!!

I looked over at Charlotte rolling my eyes. Alex sat there not understanding anything.
"Would you like to dance?" He asked me
"Sure!" I said smiling at him "Excuse us Will!" I said grinning at Will
Alex lead me to the dance floor and started danceing.

"Well" Kira sighed "I hate to keep you from your date!"
"Please do" I muttered under the music.
"What?" She asked quickly.
"Nothing" I sighed getting up "Have a good night...Micheal seems like a really, really...okay guy" I said finally, before walking over to Charlotte, feeling really bad.

I stood outside the great hall, my head against the post. "i wish this night would end" I said aloud to myself. "Why?" I jumped and turned around. A boy, about my age was standing next to me, I noticed he was in Slytherin but i had never seen him before.

"What did he mean by that..." I said to myself.
"What did who mean by-" Michael came up behind me but was cut off by Professor McGonagal.
"Ladies, gentlemen, this is the last song of the evening." she announced.
"Michael," I turned around, "you're really great, and, well, sorry. Please don't hate me!" I said in the nicest way possible and ran up to where Will was standing with Charlotte.
"Will!" I tapped his shoulder, "Will you dance with me?"

Charlotte's mouth dropped to the ground as she stepped infront of me, rather pretectivly.
"Excuse me" She harped "Will is my partner, red! Isn't that right Will?" She turned and gave me a cool smile. She was very, very pretty, but had the personality of a brick wall.
"Charlotte, it's just one dance...you seem to be going very good on your own" I said, then took Kira's hand and begun dancing with her. I felt better then I had all night.

The last dance was slow and I again restd my hed on Alex's shoulder. As I saw Kira danceing with Will I smiled to myself. Then I noticed Charlotte and her face and I couldn't help but laugh.
"What is it?" Alex asked
"It's nothing. I just saw Charlottes face... Look!" I pointed to her
Alex turned his head to Charlotte and let out a quiet laugh.
"Looks like Will got rid of her on his own.."
"Yeah it seems..."
We then continued danceing till the song ended.

"Thank you once again to our Minister Percy and Penelope Weasley for attending this years Yule Ball and all our luck to the contestants" Mc Gongall said finally. The school begun to depart.
"I guess I should escort Charlotte back to her home room" I said to Kira.
"Yeah" She smiled.
"Um..." I studdered "C-Can we talk when I get back?" I asked. She nodded. Then I hurried over to Charlotte.

Alex took my hand and pulled me out of the Great Hall. We walked around the halls of Hogwarts and the found and empty classroom to which we entered. Alex looked into my eyes and said:
"I really like you, Birgit!" He said sweetly. I felt I blushed
"I like you too!" I said quietly still gazeing into his eyes. He smiled
"Would you then be my girlfriend?" He asked. I couldn't say anything. Why would he, the cutest boy around school, would like me as his girlfriend? I leaned in and kissed him. He kissed me back.
"Is that a yes?" He asked. I shaked my head yes still unable to say anything.

The Slytherin boy whom i came to find out was named Timothy brought me back to the common room. "I was sent to telll you something, from the Headmisstress. Your mother was..well.. she was killed last night in an automobile accident"

ooc: She what-? She sent a Slytherin to tell you that?

"Sorry" I said finally to Charlotte as we stopped outside Ravenclaw house "I guess tonight didn't turn out like I had planned" Charlotte smiled.
"Don't be silly, you were super fun and" She leant into me, whispering "I like you". Then she kissed me on the lips.

I skipped, rather dazed, into the Gryffindor Common Room minutes later. Kira was sitting on the couch waiting to talk to me.
"Charlotte kissed me!" I smiled to her, her face dropped.
"What? And you let her? I thought she was an air head and you hated her!" Kira said suddenly.
"There is more to people then their brains Kira!" I snapped at her.
"Like there looks?" She said back coldly "Is that all you care about?"
"NO!" I shouted at her "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM KIRA?" She was about to answer, but the common room potrait swung open.
Stevie walked in, pale and shaking. "Stevie? Are you okay?" I abandoned Kira and hurried to Stevie, placing an arm of comfort around her.

I walked to the common room to find Will holding a white Stevie and a bit angry Kira. My mood dropped a bit.
"Whats going on?" I asked looking at them all. Why was Stevie so out of mood?

"Come on Stevie" I said sitting her down and taking her hand "What's wrong? What did Neil do to you?" She wasn't crying, although she looked like she was in shock.
"My...My M-" She tried to get the words out, yet she struggled.
"What happened?" I asked looking into her green eyes that where holding back tears that where now producing.
"My Mu-" She continued "um...My mum died" She lowered her head.
"What did she say?" B asked. I turned around, Mrs. Potter had been like B's mother, she was all she had left.
"B" I said to her "Mrs. Potter died"

I went pale, and my jaw dropped almost as far as Charlotte's had. I turned to B who looked petrified, I tried to say something but nothing came out, instead I just walked closer to B and gave her a hug.
"I'm sorry..." I whispered.

The potrait swung open and Hagrid hussled in. It had been the first time I had seen him in the common room, even though, since Mc Gonagall becoming headmistress, he was Head of Gryffindor.
"Stevie" He said kneeling down next to her and holding her close to him. "I 'eard bout dee car crash" I walked over to the window and stared out into the night sky.
A car accident, just like Harry had. I knew instantly that she did not crash on accident, it was my fathers fault.
"I hate you Draco" I muttered under my voice.

I was still standing there petrified. "Why?" I mumbled under my breath. "Why does everyone leave me?" I started yelling now and everyone in the common room turned to see me. "First my real mom leaves me and dad, then dad dies, then Harry and now Jennifer too? Why? Why do they all leave me?" I started crying and ran out of the common room. I was heading to the Shriecking Shack.

"B!" Kira screamed running to the portrait. I raised my hand to her,
"Stop!" I said simply. "There's nothing we can do Kira" I looked away and to out the window again. I knew it was my Dad, I felt like crying out of pure hate for him. How dare he hurt my friends like this. Moments later I noticed B running through the Whomping Willow, I knew where she was heading.
"Granger?" Came Mc Gonagall's voice, I hadn't noticed she had entered the room. "Are you feeling okay, your pale"
"I'm fine" I said polietly. "I need to go write to my mother" I said, leaving for the Owlery.

I slipped to the hole in the tree and soon after i was in an old house. I couldn't cry anymore. The tears were just out. I sat on the bed in the corner and pulled my legs to my chest. I just sat there not thinking of anything.

A tear slid down my cheek. Hagrid pulled me into a hug, i laid my head on his shoulder. "Miss Potter?" Mcgonagle said. "Would you come with me to my office, there are some things we need to discuss" I pulled away and followed her to the office.

I sat down in a wooden chair in front of her desk. 'Now as you know, you do not have any living relatives left..well that isnt entirely true.." i looked up "there is Mr. Dudley Dursley...but that is so out of the question we are blowing it off. So as you know i must find you a permanent home. There is a wizard orphanage in London, which i have allready checked into, and they have two openings, One for you and one for B. They also said there are many wizards and witches who are adopting.' She stopped. So much information, i couldnt even digest it all.

I sat in the Common Room with Will, neither of us were talking. Hagrid looked from Will to me, I looked out the window and whiped a tear from my eye.
"Good night," I said and ran up to the Girl's Dormitory.

I looked sadly to the red carpet and stared at my black shoes, I hadn't noticed that I was still in my formal clothes.
"How you holdin up, Will?" Hagrid asked taking a seat next to me, the entire couch seemed to move slightly under his wieght.
"My Dad did it, I know he did" I said simply. Hagrid made a hesitation, before placing an arm on my shoulder. "I hate him"
"No" Hagrid said gently "It's not your father you should 'ate, it's the dark magic inside im, he couldn't resisit it." I scoffed at him,
"Ha! I know what he was like at school, I have heard stories at the vile git he use to be...there's a part inside me like that...I hate it" I kicked the air in frustration.
"We can't 'elp who we are born to...look at me mum! She was a violent blood thirsty cold hearted giant!" He sighed "There's a part of me like that!"
"No there isn't" I laughed "Your nothing like that Hagrid!"
"Then yer nothin like yer father!" He smiled "Any thin else troublin ya?"
"Yeah!" I sighed "Girls! Charlotte kissed me"
"Oh!" Hagrid smiled.
"No" I sighed "If she hadn't I was...going to ask Kira out...It's late, I'm going to get up early and find B...night" I smiled to Hagrid, then left to the boys dormetries.

''This is awful'' I said to myself tears flowing down my face. ''They are probobly going to put me and Stevie into an orphinage(sp) now! I'm going to make that place a living hell!'' I thought out loud. "This is a nightmare!" I yelled. No one could hear me there. I whiped off my tears and put my head on the pillow. Not long till I fell asleep.

I walked from the office silently, my hair somewhat falling down. I coldnt wait to just change into a pair of my own pajamas, i was sick of school, sick of life, sick of everything. I climbed into the portrait hole and walked up the marble staircase to the dorms. I slipped on a pair of soft black fuzzy pants and a t-shirt that said "Gryffindor'
on it. I climbed into bed thinking, and thats what i spent the entire night doing.

I got up early the next morning and decided to take a walk around the school. I looked up from my feet out to the light blue sky as I exited the castle onto the grounds. I sat nearby the lake and fiddled with the grass when someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I gasped and spun around, "Oh, Michael, I thought you were- don't scare me like that!"
"Sorry," he laughed, and I smiled.
"Oi! Kira!" I heard another voice, this time it was Hagrid calling from his hut. I looked to him.
"Have ye' seen Will n' B?" he walked over.
I shook my head, "Why would I want to see Will..." I mumbled to myself.

I had gotten up early and put on some jeans, a top, a beanie and the thickest jumper I could find. It was Christmas, althought my thoughts where not on presents, they where on my friends. I hurried down out onto the grounds and around to the whomping willow.
B was my closest friends and pretty much the sister I had never had. I stunned the branches and bolted through just in time, then down the long cold tunnel until I reached the end. I stepped out into the even colder Shrieking Shack.
"B?" I shouted putting on some gloves that I had found in my pocket "It's Will! I know your here"
