"Like he would even be on our side whether I'm nice to him or not." I shrugged catching Will's eye.
"Besides.. What could happen?" I asked moving my food around with my fork when-
"I'd like to introduce the Minister of Magic, Percy Weasley, and his wife Penelope." McGonagle shouted across the Great Hall. I hid my face, as Percy waved.

McGonagle gathered together the students for Hogsmeade. B, Stevie, Will and I made our way out of Hogwarts and on to the grounds.

"Wgere should we go first?" I asked "I want to go to the Quiddich supplies too! I'm going to buy myself a good broom!" I beamed as we walked towards the Hogwarts gate.

Soon the town of Hogsmeade came into view.
"Well, I do need to go to Madam Margeta's formal robe shop, but no doubt it's going to be crouded all day" I said looking at the shop in the distance, that already had a line out the door of Hogwart students.
"We'll go once everyone starts heading back to the castle" Stevie said looking around.
"Yeah, let's go get your broom first B!" I said happily. We walked into the quidditch shop.
"Ah! More Hogwart students!" An employer said as we stepped inside to see him trying to keep some snitchs in a jar. "And Gryffindor's to, mighty fine team!"
"We are actually here for the gryffindor quiddicth team" B said looking at a broom on the wall with gold on the end.
"Ah! The new chaser I see!" The employed said, seizing me and handing me a broom "This is about your size"
"I can't play quidditch" I said.
"Nonsense, all you need is some spirit" He said with glee.
"No" I laughed "I'm not on the team, B is!" I said pointing to her.

I smiled, The shopkeeper glanced at my forehead, "Ah a Potter" he said. I turned a bit red and turned away. "Your a great Seeker" he said. "You'll go somewhere" he smiled putting a hand on my shoulder. "I knew your father" he said handing me a snitch. 'Amazing isnt it, how fast it moves its wings, its very...surreal" he said studying it for a moment.

"Hey guys, what do you think about this one? Is it fast?" I asked still looking at the broom on the wall
"Is it fast?" The shopkeeper yelled almost like going to faint. "It is the fastet broom ever!" He explaned waveing his hands in the air and I had to dodge them. "It is the best broom I know for seekers and chasers!" He said now calming down a bit. I looked from him to you to the broom.
"How much?" I asked looking at the broom
"2000 galleons (ooc That reasonable? lol)!" He said. I felt a realife(sp). I thought it would be a fortune. But I had collected 2500 galleons for my broom so the broom was mine. Mwahahaaa!
"I'll take it! If I can try it before..."
"Could I too?" Stevie asked looking at the shopkeeper and me.
"And her!" I said. It sounded like an ultimatum so it was kinda funny.
The keeper looked shocked at that but finally he let us try it
"Stevie you can try it first! And then you tell me if it's worth buying..."
The keeper made a sound at that

"Fine" I said walking out the back door of the shop to a field. I kicked off the ground, "this is nice" i said flying around casually. "Is it fast" B asked. "Hang on" i said bending down on the handle and starting to accelerate. "yes!" I called slwoing down, the wind whipping in my hair.

I was getting hyper (lol) "Let me try it too!" I said lookiung at Stevie who was spinning in the air quicly and slowly "Should I buy it then?"

Me and Kira where walking around the shop looking at the things as the man stood at the door, making sure they would not run off with it. 'Ask her' said a voice in my head.
"Woah, four thousand for this set of quidditch balls, what's it made of gold?" I said looking at some in a glass box.
"Yeah" Kira said pointing to a sign above it that read 'pure gold'. I bit my lip and looked away.
"So, most students are staying this Christmas" I said "Guess it's for the Yule Ball" This was followed by silence. I leant against a shelf as I spoke "I was wondering if maybe you would like to come with me?" But my voice was drowned as I had leant on the shelf it had fallen back and smashed all the jars on it. the room was suddenly full of bludgers and snitches flying around.
"YOU STUPID BOY!" Shouted the man to me through all the buzzing as a bludger smashed the glass case. I looked to Kira, she hadn't heard me. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, I thought it was depression, but it was just a bludger hitting me.

Stevie had just landed when the smash came and the bludgers started to break throught the glass. "Get back on the broom and get the snitches Stevie!" I ordered running inside to see what happened. I saw a bludger hitting Will. "Oh dear!" I said and ran over to him "Are you ok? Kira, what about you? you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine" I said through all the buzzing.
"You stupid boy!" The man shouted at me once again. I looked over to Kira, I had just made the biggest idiot of myself. I pulled out my wand and pointed it in the air.
"Simutalas" I shouted as the bludgers and snitches froze motionless in the air.

"I was having fun!" I said somewhat annoyed coming down off my broom.

"Good thatt everyone is ok!" I said juming up and down takeing a few bludgers that were floating in the air and gave all them to the keeper. "You silly boy!" He still called "Oh, shut up!" I said to him annoyed "And I'm buying the broom!" That seemed to lighten the keeper up a bit. "Very good choise!" He said as I handed him the money. "Come on guys! Where should we go first?"

"I don't know" I siad angrily kicking some rocks on the ground, I felt really bad for what just happened.
"Don't worry, come on, let's get some lollies, that always cheers me up" B said as we walked into a colorful sweets shop to the left.

I smiled and watched B carry the broom, "I'd like that" I said with a grin. "So why dont you get it?" B asked like i had all the money in the world.

"You could get a summer job and save some money! Jennifer gives you some pocket money too!" I suggested carrying my broom proudly. "I took a summer job remember. I changed the muggle money to galleons in Gringotts later and "It just took me 3 months to get 2500 galleons..."

"I don't thin any of us will be able to get jobs next summer, that's our O.W.L year, have you seen the number of books we have to read just over the summer?" I questioned looking around.
"You don't have to read them" Stevie said "Infact most people don't because we read them during the year"
"Do any of you know the art of Incartoa?" I asked them.
"No, please tell us Will because we are dieing to know" Kira said sarcastically, I didn't notice.
"It's the art of remebering somthing previously and sustaining that so at a later date you can pick up and memorise new things as the original context will already be a part of your mind" I said looking through the window. "Oh look! The robe shop hardly has anyone!"

"Well let's go see what they offer then!" I said and started walking towards the store. "So what colour are you looking for Will?" I asked and stepped into the store which was pilled up with dressrobes and an old women hurried out from the back. "Anything I can help you with?" She asked smiling.

OOC: Ah, I'm sorry I haven't replied in a while. Milk got spilled all over the keyboard.

I turned away from the woman at the front desk to look at dress robe which was put on a manequin on the right hand side of the store.
"Oh, that's nice," I nudged Stevie and pointed over at it.
"Yeah," she smiled.
"It's probably as much as B's broom though." I shrugged with a laugh.

"Its not that i dont have the money, its that im not allowed to spend it" I said. "I want green dress robes" I said with a smile. "It;'ll bring out my eye colour" I said with a green.

I looked over at Kira, I wasn't sure what she was thinking. Maybe she already had a date and was thinking about what he would be wearing. I looked around and found a black cloak made from fine silk, it had snake cufflings and deep green edges.
"Wow" I said looking at it. "How much is this one?"
"Yuck!" Stevie said staring at it instantly with great hate.
"It's a bit...Slytherin themed isn't it?" B asked me.
"No!" I snapped at her "Just because it has snake cufflings on it doesn't mean it's evil" I looked it up and down again.

"I bet it's one of your fathers old robes that somehow ended up here and it is going to posess you again!" I said laughing "But if you look at it with a neutral point of view it looks quite good!" I said looking at the robe

"Its ugly" I said immediately. "Your so strongwilled" B said hitting me on the shoulder so no one else could see. I glared at her, "If you want something horrible to happen to you, then just buy the robe, its very slytherin-ish but if you want to be a traitor to us than so be it" I said curtly and went over to have a robe fitted. A smug looking lady was standing by a small stool. "Up" she said and i climbed up the stool." Year?" she asked. "Huh?" i said a but confused. "What year at Hogwarts are you in?" she said impatiently. "4th, I'm Stephanie Potter" I said looking down at her. She glanced up at my forehead and nodded. "I see" she said. "The green ones?" she asked. I nodded my head just as Neil walked into the shop and smiled at me.

I smiled as I saw Niel and Stevie looking at eachother. I walked closer to Will and B who were still looking at the black cloak. Stevie has a date.. Does B have a date? What about Will.. I could ask him.. I thought.
"Will?" I asked nervously, trying to get my courage up. He seemed not to hear me, he was still staring at the cloak. "Will?" I questioned again, a bit louder.
"Yeh?" He he asked, hearing me this time.
"I was just-I-I.." My ears went red, "I was just wondering if you were going to buy that cloak." I covered it up, now avoiding the question.

I looked rather startled, as I looked over it again and thought. Maybe she wanted to know because she wanted to buy matching robes, maybe this was a sign she wanted me to ask her.
"I dunno" I muttered, trying to sound casual "Do you like it?"

I was standing next to Will and I nudged him with my elbow hoping that he got my hint. I was hinting that he'd ask her to the ball. Looking over to Stevie I saw that she was smileing to that guy, Neil. I was kinda happy for her but felt sad too cause I didn't have a date yet
