Kris & Ty's thread that needs a cooler name

The caped crusader looked around the vast parking lot, seeking her partner in crime. Finally, she spotted the familiar green Civic pulling in and she ran over, her cape flailing out behind her. "What took you so long?" she asked, pushing her bat mask up. "Trees!"

[Mad Eye Touz]

"Isn't that obvious?" the driver of the Civic asked, looking over her shoulder to the backseat. "She spit on me 23475 times today and I had to change shirts. What do you think of this? It's all I had left in my closet," she asked, getting out of the car and sporting a neon pink t-shirt.

"You're wearing pink!?!?" she exclaimed in shock. Then, she opened up the back door and grabbed the toddler out of the back seat. "OMG! He's sooo cute! Come fly with me, Xander!" She pulled the toddler after her as she frolicked between the cars in the parking lot.

"I figured it was good a costume, you know. Me in pink? Funny?" she laughed at herself. "And don't take him off too far! We're going to be late to the party!" she yelled after the pair as she got the baby out. She continued grumbling about how ugly pink was.

"We're not going far," she called over her shoulder before picking the boy up and squeezing him until he started kicking his legs to get free. "HAARRRRRRRYYYY POTTER!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! TREES!" she shouted in her giddiness over the release party they were about to attend (or maybe it was the medicine she'd taken for her pounding headache earlier).

"Don't start teaching him trees. I hear enough about tractors, I don't want to start hearing about trees. Now, come on you two. We're already late!!" And, with her brand new, yard-sale bought stroller, spitter baby and pink clad mommy went towards the party.

"Well, I had to go down to the pool with my mother but, then these smelly boys were there so we had to wait and then my boyfriend called because he needed help picking out new curtains and he just wouldn't let me off the phone. So, I finally got to the pool and had to have a shower after but, got caught on MSN during naked time because there was a problem with this new Fan Club for the Mimbulus mimbletonia. Then, my car wouldn't start so I had to take the truck but, when I got out of the driveway I realized all my panties were hanging out to dry on the bumpers and mirrors. So, of course I had to get out and throw them into my drawer (unfolded).

"So, I'm finally on the road and this crazy lady just stops her car and jumps out in front of me, yelling. I couldn't really understand her because I swerved and floored it but, I think I heard something like, "OMG HARRY POTTER COMES OUT IN FIVE HOURS!" But, that may have just been me. So, I'm almost here and a tire just falls off the truck and I had to change into my bat girl disguise to help myself but, then this really cute guy stopped and put my spare tire on. He looked just like Brad! And I swooned but, luckily I was in my disguise so he wouldn't recognize me from the show.

"He made sure I was good to go and then left, heading for the Release Party, too. I didn't get very far, though because I ran out of gas! I was only a few feet from a gas station so, I pushed the truck over to the pumps. But, they were labeled wrong and I ended up putting diesel fuel in! I didn't know what to do but, the Brad guy was getting donuts in the shop so he came out and smiled at me. OMG!! He offered me a ride and donuts! So, I said, "Heck yeah!" and hopped into his truck with a donut.

"So, that's how I got here. I can't go anywhere without it being an adventure," she took a deep breath after her long winded speech and blinked at her friend.

"You're weird. Really weird. And have remarkably lung capacity," the Mommy stared. Then the baby, as if on cue, spit up on her pink shirt. "Oh poop on a stick!!!" she shrieked, frustratedly. "What am I going to do now? My husband is still at work, every single one of my other shirts are ruined, and I can't very well go without one!! I want my mommy!" she stomped around. "And a massage! And to get to this party! I want Snape!!!" That last part had obviously slipped out and she covered her mouth with her free hand.

"Here, take mine," Touz said, taking off her shirt and then straightened her Bat Touz getup. Once that was done, she streaked into the bookstore, ready to party until the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Kris stared after Touz, then shook her head. For some reason, she was unsurprised. She slipped the new shirt over her head, took up both her children, and went inside to party. Elizabeth ruined that shirt too, but it was okay. Who needs a clean shirt when you have Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in hand!?
