 On a secluded hilltop, outside of a small town in Canada, stood a spacious, white, two-story house. The outside was surrounded by freshly cut, bright green grass. It was so green, it made the house stand out even more. In front of the vast porch, there were bushes with budding red roses. On the porch was a light blue porch swing. It slowly swayed with the light breeze, making a quiet creaking sound.
When entering through the burgundy colored door, the first thing noticeable is all the pictures that occupied the walls. They were all pictures of people. Some were of family and others held friends. But in most of them, the same blond haired woman with gray colored eyes, hiding behind a pair of glasses, stood in them, with a smile on her lips. A living room was at the end of the entrance hall. Baby blue carpet was soft underneath your feet as a fireplace stood in front of a beige couch. Two matching armchairs were also placed in the room, which looked comfortable and cozy. A bookcase was placed in the corner of the room, which held many books and more pictures. On one shelf held a small baby elephant figurine, sitting next to a friendly looking werewolf. On the wall were three different sized stars that were baby blue like the carpet. This room looked lived in and welcoming.
When turning to the left, a swinging door stood leading to the kitchen. To the right was a staircase that led upstairs. When going through the swinging door, a wonderful smell hit your nose. The kitchen held all basic necessities, like a refrigerator in the corner and a stove against the middle of the wall. The counter tops were a soft gray color and always had a bowl of fresh fruit sitting on its surface. A picture of kittens rolling around in a box, playing with each other, was placed just above the dinning room table. At the end of the kitchen stood a white door with a single window that led outside. An apple tree was seen out the little window. A wooden swing hung down from one of the branches. The house of Tina Jackson was a great place to be during the summer.

She was startled when it was already the next day and time for him to leave. "Okay honey, have a good tome and take care. Don't worry about me I'll manage. And I'll call you often too." She returned the kiss until it was time that he really set off and then helped him take his things to his car. She waved back at him as he drove off.

He woke up early the next morning but it took a second for him to remember why. Then it hit him: they were supposed to be getting ready for Tina's arrival. He quickly showered and got dressed and then left the room.
After knocking on Adia's door he saw that she was ready too when she opened. "Good morning," he told her smiling.
They made their way downstairs and he made a quick breakfast. After eating they made sure that the house was in good order. Right when they were finishing up they heard the doorbell ring. He rushed to the door to receive Tina. "Hi love," he said hugging her.

After she saw Nick off Tina knew that she had to quickly get ready to go to Alex's. Fortunately she had already showered and dressed. She quickly took out her suitcase and using magic packed everything that she had wanted to take with her. Then she grabbed something to eat from the kitchen and said her good-byes to Nick's parents. Walking outside the house she headed to the field in the backyard. From there she quickly apperated to Alex's. Walking towards his door she rung the doorbell. She then warmly received his hug. "It's good to see you again" she said hugging him back.

When Adia heard the doorbell ring she was so extremely excited. SHe missed Tina terribly. She let Alex answer the door, and after she heard them say their hellos, she ran into the room and tackled tina to the floor. "I've missed you so much!" She said laughing.

Alex was surprised when Adia suddenly sped out of nowhere and tackled Tina. "I know that you are happy to see her love, but I think that you have winded her," he said laughing.

He just shook his head. "If you say so love," he added laughing. He joined them on the couch eager to hear what Tina had to tell them.
Taking a seat on the couch she said "Amusement Park? Those are so much fun. I wish I had gone too." She smiled then added, "not too much really. I started in the music program at university. So now I go to school with Nick. And I met a nice music student on my second day. And I promised him some of your pancakes, Adia," she added laughing. She was going to mention Emily too, but some some reason she only wanted to discuss that with Adia. Maybe 'cause she felt that it was something that only another girl could really understand.

She smiled and said, "thanks doll face. Oh, it's a lot of fun. I just started so it's mostly just theory but I'm already starting to get it wonderfully." She had to laugh with Alex when she showed curiosity over her new friend. "His name is Jackson but I call him Jack. And well he's studying to do production. He's also in a band named The Pancakes," she giggled at the name. "He's a good musician too. And he let me record a song in the studio. It was so much fun." | |
