Wow this guy really did flirt alot, not to say that Noah didn't enjoy it, what girl wouldn't enjoy it. "You sure are trying hard to get into my good graces" She said with a grin.

As he asked to see her sketches she reached into her bag. But before completely pulling the bag out she looked at him. "You should consider yourself priveliged, I dont' share these with many" She told him as she handed him that pad filled almost completely full with all of her sketches.

"It doesn't seem like there is much to make sense of on that subject" Finn told her giving her his imput. "Opposites or not, if your attracted to each other you're attracted to each other" He said rather bluntly but that was how he saw it. Girls were always giving him and every other bloke on the planet headaches with how complicated they were.

"I dont' think I have ever made anyone smile as much as you have today" He commented. It was true he normally wasn't this friendly. But then again he could justify that if needed.

Plans after school. Of course he had plans after school. Truth of the matter was that it was extremely complicated. With his parents still alive, dispite what everyone assumed, he had a legacy to live up to. Of couse he had ever intention of not following that chosen path. He had his own dreams to accomplish. "But most people see me as a mysterious person, and I do like to keep up that persona, so therefor nobody knows my future plans" He said to her with a cocky smirk.

OCC: uh oh.... do I see this plot getting even more interesting

Jeff smiled but kept it hidden. "Well lucky for you, now you know someone here who knows the land. I've been here for quite a few years...six maybe." He thought about it as they walked through the house and down hallways. They finally reached the loo. "Well here it is...should I stay out here so you don't get lost on your way back?" He asked not really knowing if he should just leave or wait for her.

"Umm, I probably will get lost on the way back, so yeah, it would really help if you stayed." Hanna said, closing the door. Even the words said in her head sounded weird. When she came back out, Hanna said, "Well should we get going?"

I don't like it, but I do it anyway, Isabella said with a very small smile that she hid by taking another small bite of the chocolate chip cookie in her hand. I'd like that, she added with a smile to what he had said about him accompanying her to the library after she had swallowed. Then she laughed lightly as he said they wouldn't be talking so much if she were actually shy. Yes, but you talked to me first, she pointed out fairly with a small grin.

Curious, Isabella stood up and followed Robert him to the window. She smiled a bit as he greeted her, letting the smile widen when he told her who it was. I guess everyone knows each other here but me then? she asked with a chuckle.

Izzy raised her eyebrows yet again--was Finn actually trying to tell her how opposites attracted?? This seemed very unlike him. She composed her face back to normal, though, and bit her lip.

"Well, if you say so," She said tentatively.

To his next statement, she blushed.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. What's wrong with you today?!" She said jokingly, bumping her knee with his. Here she was, talking to Finn Weston of all people, the last person anyone would have expected her to be with--but she was here, and she was talking him. And liking it. This was turning out to be an interesting Christmas.

As for his plans for after school, of course he would be mysterious and not tell her. That, after all, was just like him.

"Well, I'll agree with the mysterious persona part--that's definitely how I see you," She said with a half smile. But then she edged closer and whispered to him.

"But I'd like to get to know you better."

Pete laughed at Carter's comment, then he rolled his eyes, of course he hadn't expected anything to be happening between the two of them because he knew that Carter was someone hard to please.

"I can't wait to 'till all the fun starts!" Peter said enthusiastically looking around. "I'm really hungry though." He said and without further ado, he made his way towards the kitchen.

Once he entered he didn't any thoughts left for anyone else and made his way to the counter and started looking in the different plates that were assorted on it. He found some mince pies he took one and started eating it.

Malvina turned to heart Robert calling her and waved slightly, pushing up her hat to see better. "Come out!" she said in her heavy accent, waving for him to come out.

you have a point there he said agreeing when she said that he had started talking to her first.
aw...you are new here that's why.well there are kids who are pretty quiet themsleves and we hardly get to know each other unless we seeing them doing something.like if you take Jeff for example.we heard him playing piano once till then we didnt know that he plays piano and he really plays well.


Seeing Malvina waving to them Robert said
come on Isabella lets go out she is calling us he said smiling and beckoning to come with him.they walked out in the living room and then went to the coat closet took out a thick jacket and muffler.

Finn felt Izzy's knee bump his own. He didn't really have a reaction to that, instead he just looked up at her. "Well if you think about it, I'm sure before today you thought that you had be pretty much figured out. Then I go and have a whole conversation with you, which I'm sure you never saw coming. So therefor I think that I'm being even more mysterious." He told her.

Was that really the reason though? Or did he just like talking to this girl? Well that was the reason that he was going with. He wasn't going to give it much thought. Thinking like that only got a person into trouble.

"Is that a good thing or bad?" Finn asked her as she said that she definately thought of him as a mysterious person. Then mimicking her gesture, he bent down and whispered into her ear. "Well we will just have to see about that"

Really? Isabella asked, one of her dark eyebrows raising, but she was still smiling widely. That's pretty funny, actually, she said with a grin.

Okay, she agreed quickly, not wanting to be left out as she so often was. She followed Rob out front and quickly slid on her coat once more, buttoning it quickly before standing with a smile at the ready.

it isnt funny but i guess that's the nature of few of the kids here.they like to be alone he said shrugging
come on he said and walked to the door but before heading out he called out to Mrs.Pinkler

he then opened the door and allowed Isabella to leave first and then he followed her.his hands in his pockets and head slightly bent against the slight cold breeze.
They reached Malvina

and yeah she is Isabella? he said forgetting her last name.it was important to know her last name because there was another Isabella in the house,though she was called Izzy all the time but it was better if he knew her whole name
and she is new over here and Isabella this is Malvina from Durmstrang he said.

"Hello," Malvina said as Robert and the other girl whom she did not know joined her. She turned to the girl and smiled - somewhat fakely, but that was mostly because she really didn't feel all too happy now. "Asuming you are French or English, sorry. My English accent is horrible, and I don't know any French," she said, suddenly very conscious of the accent she did have.

Izzy nodded at his comment and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"Well, I think you're right about that. I really did think I had you all figured out. But now, I'm not so sure," she said slowly. But she wanted to know more about him. it was the craziest thing.

"Umm, well, it depends on how you look at him. It's good because you don't want to convey too much information to other people you don't know. But, it's bad because there are some people," Here she paused for a second, and then continued,"that care for you perhaps, and want you to open up to them. So, really it's a two-way street. But," she said as she shifted in her position so as to face him better, "I think mystery always adds another demension to some people. Especially guys."

She didn't know why she was telling him this. She didn't even know that she though all of this stuff. But when he whispered in her ear, she looked into his eyes and smiled.

"I guess we will," Izzy whispered back.

"Hey Malvina, how's school going?", Elaina asked her friend. A strand of blond hair fell into Elaina's face and she swept it behind her ear gracefully with her hand. Her peircing blue eyes focused on Malvina instead of wandering around the room. Elaina's voice had no accent. It was pure and sweet. She was th type of girl you would find in the 'in-crowd' at a local high school.

Elaina wore a pink shirt with faded skinny jeans and her favorite ballet flats. Hanging around Elaina's neck was her favorite blue topaz necklace that her grandmother gave her when she died.The blue topaz stood out against Elaina's ivory skin.

Carter could tell Ian was lying- he just didn't know why. I couldn't possibly be who he was talking to? He looked over at Noah and Tabitha and pushed the thought from his mind. Both were beautiful but it wasn't like he was actually going to pursue anything. Then again... he glanced over and shrugged. Who knew what the future would bring. He grinned as Ian picked up the conversation once more. "Come now! A good snowball fight is always required when it snows!" Carter said with a laugh. "Perhaps we shall have one tomorrow- you in?" he asked Ian.

"Well, we have only just met- what better way to get to know someone than to get into their good graces?" Carter pointed out. He was surprised he was the only guy by her side at the moment however. Noah was beautiful and a fine catch for whatever lucky man she chose. "Besides, I am quite content to occupy your side for the evening- unless you would rather I go elsewhere?"

"I do indeed- even if I need to get another cookie to prove it to you," he said with a wink. He gingerly took the pad from her, surprised by its weight. "Wow..." he breathed, running a hand gently across the cover. "Where do I begin?" he asked, looking to her for guidance.

"What do you mean starts? I am quite insulted my friend! To think I wear fun on my person like a cape and you have completely disregarded it!" Carter said with a dramatic flair.

"Well, there are cookies in the kitchen- and they are quite delicious," he said, indicating the direction. Peter already knew, he was sure, but one never knew who might be listening.

"Hello," Malvina murmured, smiling fakely at Elaina. She really didn't like her... She was just too perfect. "School is... as good as ever. Perfect marks and nothing more."

"That's good, then," Malvina murmured, smiling sincerely. "How are you doing? I can't say I would know... Christmas only comes once a year, after all."

"Uh sure...where do you want to go? Back to the others?" Jeff asked not really knowing where to take her. He wasn't much for friends, but he was starting to like this girl.

Finn gave her one of his cocky grins as she admitted to not having him completely figured out. He didn't say anything though. What people didn't realize about him is he indeed was smart and had a way of maintaining the front that he put up, even if people did think that they were beginning to see the real him. But the question is, was Izzy getting to see the real him. The answer to that question scared Finn.

The way that she paused made him wonder if that meant that she was one of those people. What in Merlin's name was that supposed to mean. What she didnt realize is that this girl was just as mysterious to him as he was to her. "So in other words you would agree that the mysterious factor of a guy, makes him.... how would you say it?" He paused. "Oh so cute, or hot, or something like that" He said rolling his eyes that he just said 'oh so cute'. Bloody hell.

Occ: this is going to be fun

Noah pretended to think about it for a second when he said that he could go somewhere else. "Well..." She drew out her voice slightly. "I'm kidding of couse. I must admit I'm rather liking your company" She told him. Sure that might have been on the blunt side, but she spoke her mind. She always had.

There was a minute that he was quite and Noah couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. She still felt though that she didn't know him well enough to ask. She scanned the room at all of the people that were still in there. Her eyes found the one who had been staring at her so intently earlier that it startled her slightly. Quickly though she directed her attention back to Carter, hoping the one who's name she didn't know didn't notice.

"It won't bite" She told him as Carter took the pad. She almost had the pad completely full. She mad mulitple more ones in her trunk that he left at the school. She flipped the front leather cover open to the first sketch. "You can just look through them, most of them are from when I get bored at Beauxbatons, but theres also misacelanous ones in there" She told him as she leaned forward to see which ones he was viewing.

Isabella blushed very lightly at the fact that she hadn't said he last name to Robert before and said quickly, Hamilton. Isabella Hamilton, with a smile, though she could tell the girl's was fake. It's fine - mine's a mixture from moving to the country when I was 13, she added with a small chuckle.

Ian shook his head, a small dark smile playing on his face as he did so, but he was not shaking his head in disagreement. Perhaps, he said finally. After all, half the charade of coming was actually trying to find a place, whether he preferred being a loner or not.

Ian took the moment to look back over at the girl, Noah, and saw her looking at him. But the moment had passed and she had looked away. Ian frowned as she almost immediately began flirting with Carter again. I think I'm going to go lie down for a bit, Ian said quickly mostly to Carter before he stood up and made his way up the stairs to his usual room, shutting the door behind him and sighing.

"Well, Isabella Hamilton," Malvina copied, thinking for a moment, "you would never know it. Where have you lived?"

Malvina shook her head. "You do not notice much, do you?" she asked jokingly. "Only three people here are from Durmstrang... And yet I know them. Though, we don't have houses as you do. I find that very interesting."

No well i can explain this Rob said readying himself for an explaination
well you see we both are in Ravenclaw and yet for me it is quidditch and for her true to her house she is,its the library he said smiling at her
so i couldnt notice her in the school at all.i must have seen her some time but i just couldnt recognise what do you expect from a guy like me he said with a shrug and then a smile.
but i am sure we can be real good friends now that we have known each other here.right Isabella? he said with a thumbs up,smile and a wink.
and since you guys dont have houses its boring... he stressed the word in a sing song way and teased her about her school
no houses means no rivalry means no comeptetion means no fun... he said shaking his head continuing to tease Malvina.
and what's school without fun he said concluding with a broad smile.

"I've been doing pretty good. but my grades have dropped a little in Ancient Ruins and Arithmancy", Elaina said. Her blue yes were slightly dull today.

"Hey Rob. I'm doing pretty good. School's been hectic but you know how it is", Elaina said happily. "How have you been lately?"

Carter smiled at her, and he was actually quite touched by her words. To most women, he was considered annoying- but they still enjoyed his flirting. But, first moment they could, they lost him in a crowd. And, for the first time in awhile, he actually cared.

"Well, I shall remain then," he said, pretending to settle himself further down into the seat. He turned to look toward Noah and saw that she was looking over at Ian. Before she noticed him looking, he quickly looked back down at the sketches.

"Well, I'm glad of that- I've met far too many biting books," he joked with a grin. He carefully flipped through the pages, not wanting to smudge or tear any of them. They were beautiful and contained such talent that he was blown away. "What's this one?" he asked, pointing to a sketch.

"Well, I take that as an acceptance to the challenge," he said with a laugh. "I'll make sure to invite a few others... make it interesting." Carter looked up as Ian said he was going to leave. "Well, alright mate, see you later!" he said, waving a hand- in a friendly not cruel way. However, he couldn't help but notice the strange mood that Ian was in. And he wondered whether it was because of something school related or... someone within Holly House.
