Hey everyone! I’m Ashley for those of you who don’t know me. I have been gone for a while but now I’m back and have decided to start another RP!!!!
Its Christmas themed so just hang with me!

Twas the night.....

The Holly Home is a home that was started for the students of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang to go when they can’t go home for Christmas. Whether you don’t feel like going home, your parents don’t want you to go home, or you have no home to go to the Holly Home is open.

Mrs. Pinkler is the old woman who created and takes care of Holly Home. She is the old grandmotherly type that everyone loves.

This year Mrs. Pinkler finished getting everything ready for all of the students to come. Everyone arrived and was having the times of their lives. Until one night, the children found Mrs. Pinkler dead. Not only was she dead but she was murdered. They knew for a fact that no one that other than the children had been in the home. Who had done it.....

Jeff saw some people doing their own thing, but most were talking to each other and getting to know each other. He shook his head and was officially bored. He moved away from the wall and decided to go around and look at the place and see if it changed at all since last year. He went from room to room and noted that nothing had changed. Then he went to his favorite room in the house. The one with the piano in it. He sat at the instrument and opened it so he could see the white and black keys. He'd played it before. The lady didn't care. He started playing the song he wrote.

Peter strutted down the garden, feeling excited that he was going to spend his Christmas in here again, he has only stayed here before once two years ago and this year as it was his final at Hogwarts he was able to persuade his parents to let him stay behind. "Hey Carter mate!" He said clapping Carter's back. "Found yourself a match at last?" He asked him smirking, eyeing the pretty girl that was standing with him.

"Don't get your hopes up too soon mate," Carter said with a slight shake of his head. "I've only just met the girl- as for a match that takes time. Or, you just have to look in a drawer for a box of them- but magic is usually a lot easier instead of that sort of match," he said, grinning at the pun. "So how've you been mate? You've been missing out on all the fun!" he teased his friend, indicating the room around them.

Isabella laughed lightly, and it was a nice sound to hear, but she was sooo surprised that she didn't recognize the boy. Thanks, she said as he passed her a glass of milk and they sat down opposite each other. She took a bite of one of the delicious-smelling chocolate chip cookies and then nearly swallowed the bite whole at his next words - how in the hell didn't she recognize this kid?? Actually, I am in Ravenclaw, but you most likely won't have seen me in the common room very often; I'm usually in the library, she admitted with a small shrug. That was just the norm for her.

He was slightly surprised that she remembered his last name, of course his face showed no sign of that shock. "Other reasons? Is he Mr. Right?" He asked her wondering if he had crossed the line. Surely she was refering to a boyfriend. "I'm a seventh" He told her. "After this term, I'm free" He said with a grin.

When he noticed her, Hanna blushed a deep red. "Oh, I, um, had to go to the, erm, bathroom/loo." She said awkwardly, pointing towards the door in which she just entered. "You're ,umm, really good." Hanna said, looking at her feet and blushing harder.

phew...must be,you must be in library all the time, no doubt. true to your house he said saluting
so do you ever come to the quidditch pitch? he asked. he knew that how much ever the Ravenclaw kids might be studious they are very loyal to the team. they always do come and support them but the only thing is spotting this one girl in a whole crowd of blue and gold would be difficult.

Carter raised an eyebrow at the boy's tone. "Something the matter?" he asked, slight worry evident in his features. "We don't want you to have a blue Christmas," he said with a warm smile. "Ah... snow," Carter said with a fond smile. "Sledding, snowball fights, the crunch of it beneath your boots- I can totally understand." As Ian joined his conversation with Peter, he couldn't help but regard his friend with surprise. Something seemed to be getting on his nerves- he just hoped it wasn't him. (ooc: Is Peter annoying him or Carter?)

He saw the trays of cookies, still fresh from the oven. Grinning, he grabbed some napkins and carefully picked up a handful of cookies. Juggling them carefully, he walked back to the lounge. "A cookie for you, my lady," he said with a smile.

who is that for Carter? Rob asked smirking.he knew Carter was upto flirting with someone,but who,he didnt know that.Robert shook his head.

"Any time," Carter said with a grin, picking out a cookie for himself. He was partial to sugar cookies himself and he took a small bite so that he could enjoy it- but it wouldn't hinder his discussion with Noah. "Well, I would love to say that I read your mind- but it was more along the lines of you looked like a gingerbread loving person. Also known as- I guessed," he said with a wink, followed by a laugh. He was enjoying his time with this girl, and he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue to flirt. He was more curious about her than anything.

Izzy laughed again as Finn told her about his troublemaking at school.

"Trouble should be your middle name--unless it already is?" She said and then giggled.
"Life would NOT be boring without trouble. I mean, if there was no trouble, it would be peaceful and calm..." Izzy continued as she placed her hand on her chin.

Slightly confused at his next question, Izzy furrowed her brow.

"Ummm, no? Well, I thought I had found Mr. Right a year ago. But that turned out to be a disaster," She said as she remembered Ryan.

"It's funny, though, because he was just like me--studious, kind, and warm-hearted. We liked the same things. But somehow, it never worked out. I could never figure out why," Izzy continued. But she didn't like thinking about him--it made her too sad.

"Oh, so you're the same as me!" She said.
"I bet you're not sad at all about leaving school, are you?" She said with a knowing smile. Finn would probabaly be psyched to be out and making trouble everywhere he went. But she smiled despite this, because it didn't bother her somehow. There was something about Finn that made her..feel comfortable around him.

Mavlina smiled as she stood in the background, never one to be part of the crowd. She glanced around for the few fellow Durmstrangs she had here, though she knew there was no other Durmstrang girl she could hang out with. Only guys... Guys she didn't very much talk with.

Finn shook his head at Izzy, "No, its Alexander" He told her when she asked if trouble was his middle name.

"What do you mean? Peacful and calm are practically the two root words of boring" He told to her. It was true, who wanted peacful and calm, well apparently this girl did.

Finn listened to what she was saying about her ex. Part of him wondered why in Merlin's beard was he lisening, it wasn't as if he cared. But for some reason he felt compelled to. Why was he acting so much unlike himself this holiday? "Well have you ever heard of the saying opposites attract" He told her. "Maybe thats a sign that if your life is only peaceful and calm its too boring so you need to find an opposite" He said with a shrug.

"Of course I can't wait to leave school." He told her. "And rather frankly I'm pretty sure the professors can't wait for me to leave either" That was a very true statement. He knew that the professors weren't excactly fond of him.

Jeff got to the climax of the song when he heard the door squeak. He turned and raised his eyebrows. Some girl. "Your in the wrong room for the loo....and uh...thanks." He said feeling a smile, but shook his head and got up. "I know this place better than I know my own home. I'll show you where the loo's at." He said walking toward her.

Finn listened to what she was saying about her ex. Part of him wondered why in Merlin's beard was he lisening, it wasn't as if he cared. But for some reason he felt compelled to. Why was he acting so much unlike himself this holiday? "Well have you ever heard of the saying opposites attract" He told her. "Maybe thats a sign that if your life is only peaceful and calm its too boring so you need to find an opposite" He said with a shrug.

"Of course I can't wait to leave school." He told her. "And rather frankly I'm pretty sure the professors can't wait for me to leave either" That was a very true statement. He knew that the professors weren't excactly fond of him.

Izzy raised her eyebrows at his middle name--it seemed so...normal compared to his first and last name.

"Peaceful and calm are not the two root words of boring. But I guess your interpretion of boring would be different than mine. Where I find school simply exhilarating, you probably find it boring," She said with a shrug.

As she listened to him talk about opposites attracting, she couldn't help but smile. It was true, but she didn't think like that. In her mind, only things that went together made sense--everything else was jumbled.

"I have heard of that. But...I don't know, it just doesn't make sense to me. I don't think I could end up with someone completely opposite of me," Izzy replied as she smoothed out the creases on her dress.

Izzy laughed at his last statement--he was making her laugh a lot today. It was weird. The Finn she knew was reserved and somewhat...frightening. But she never thought of him like that; she didn't know why.

"Yes, I'm sure the professors would probably be glad to get rid of you. Do you have any plans for after school?" Izzy asked him. She was curious as to what he would want to do for a career.

Malvina looked around to find that everyone was occupied with someone or other. With a sigh, she went over to the coat closet and pulled out her winter coat and ushanka. Putting them on, as well as tugging on her fur boots, she ventured out into the cold, her breath puffing out in little clouds. With a smile, she remembered that it was just like home... The smile slowly faded. Home... No. She didn't have one. Her parents made sure of that.

you know,now that we know that we both exist you can ask me anytime to acompany you for the library.i actually need to enter the library quite often.now that we will be giving the NEWTs the next year. he said genuinely.he loved playing quidditch but he wouldnt neglect his studies either.he can score awesome grades if only he would work a bit more harder.but all these years he just took things lightly.

good,but i havent seen you in the crowd ever.but that's the point isnt it.its difficult to recognize anyone in the crowd he said winking.

Robert turned around and scaned the kitchen and he gazed out of the kitchen window.it was cold outside and hard started to snow a bit.he saw someone walking in there alone.he looked at Isabella and then beckoned her to follow him.he got up from his chair and walked to the window and looked who it was and then he recognized.
Hey Malvina, hey Mal he called out to another friend of his from the Holly Home waving his hand.she hadnt come yet when everybody gathered.
Turning to Isabella he said
she is malvina andother friend here he said smiling.
