 The year is 1976, and Dumbledore has just announced a formal ball exclusively for the 6th and 7th years. The twist? The boys must ask the girls to the ball by means of an anonymous letter, and it is the letter alone the girls must use to determine who will be their date. With rushes of excitement and anxiety, the males of Hogwarts begin to write their letters, and James Potter is confident that by writing the perfect letter, he will be able to make Lily Evans go to the ball with him. However, Lily also receives another letter: one from Severus Snape, hoping that if she chooses his letter, it could lead them into something closer than friendship. In the event that he’s foiled by James yet again, he also writes a letter to Astoria, knowing that she and Remus have had longtime crushes on each other. Having a little crush on Astoria himself, Severus believes that if he can stir up trouble between Tori and Remus, at least one positive thing will result. Who will go with who? Only this RP will tell. Elle smiled as she listened to Damien and Cecilia. Both genders had it hard with these types of things. no , its really not. im saying its right but imagine a kid who is totally a stranger to everyone. he doesnt have any friends and his parents treat him like he's some stranger . His brothers are bullies to him and their friends treat him the same. would it be so hard to see him changing. no one wants to be made fun of and be alone. the human race needs compassion. besides ,think of it this way. lets say your brother was the only person you cared for. he didnt like the way you wore your hair, or the way you dressed, or some habit you have. even if its small, wouldnt you change it to make him stay. because if he left you'd be alone in the world. some people arent meant to have real friends. besides everyone has secrets from their real friends.something has to be kept for yourself, like your secrets. you cant be an open book, thats asking to be stomped on.being yourself all the time isnt realistic. As the came around the corner, he spotted Victoria not very far from them and stopped midstep. Well now, James will have to know now...
He turned his head to James and saluted his friend, with a facial expression, and hopes that he would wish him good luck. Turning on the spot he walked towards her, almost nervously shoving his hands into his pockets. "Hey Victoria." He said softly, trying to be smooth.
