Enid watched with wide eyes as Xavior left to go talk with Gabe. "What! What's he up to this time?" she asked suspiciously, her green eyes narrowing just slightly before she turned away and back to Calix as he began teasing her once again, this time asking her if she had chosen a celebrity couple name for herself and Gabe yet. "Oh! Wait! I... I think I see something, Calix!" she said, her eyes widening suddenly. She looked off into space with a dreamy look for a moment before turning back to Calix. "Yes... yes, I see something in your future! It's... it's... something... I think someone's going to give you a kick; and it'll feel something like this," Enid then proceeded to kicked her leg under the table, successfully hitting Calix right in the shin. She grinned triumphantly at the boy. "Yeah, I think that's about right!"

"Ouch!" Calix cried when Enid suddenly kicked him in the shin. Alright, it wasn't sudden, and he'd had a warning, but sometimes Calix was slow to get the hints. He bent down and rubbed his sore leg and glared at Enid. "Oh, ha ha. Very clever Enid. Even I could see that one coming, though. You're getting lousy at your predictions. I, however, have been practicing all summer on my powers." Calix quickly looked around for an object to read. Finding someone's hat nearby, he quickly prepared himself not to read it and then picked it up. Closing his eyes, he said in a spooky manner, "This is how it's done. I see... this hat... has kept a head warm for many days and nights... and..." he suddenly opened his eyes and took aim at Enid, "And, suddenly it flies through the air and hits you!" At the same time, he threw the hat, carefully aiming it square in her face.

Enid was in a fit of amused and triumphant giggles as Calix rubbed his leg and glared at her, telling her she was getting lousy at her predictions, that even he had seen the kick coming. "Oh sure, that's why you weren't prepared for it, huh?" she asked teasingly, obviously quite proud of herself for having surprised the boy. But it was then that he got a hold of a hat and began talking about its history. Enid wasn't stupid, she knew Calix hadn't just randomly decided to tell the table the history of the hat; she knew there was more to his act. She could feel it now, sense the hat coming in her direction just a few seconds before he picked it up. And it was then that he threw it at her. Enid had half expected it, but she was still rather caught off-guard as she brought her arms up to shield her face, causing the hat to fall on her empty plate. She lowered her arms and turned to Calix. "Good try, Cal - but I'm afraid it wasn't good enough! I totally saw that coming!" she said, sticking her tongue out at him before taking the hat into her hands and throwing it back at him. Except, Enid's aim wasn't as good as his, and she ended up hitting the boy that had been sitting at the table behind him instead.

Coheed couldn't help but laugh at this. "Gabid, I like that one." She smirked.

Cohhed looked back over at Xavier, still bothering the poor boy. Just cause he could control fire didn't mean he would in time to make sure that everyone survived a massive explosion... or something. "Leave the poor thing alone!"

UGGGH now he was a poor thing. This was not Gabe ideal time. He could think of 100 things he would much rather do right now. Now the boy was asking if he could bursts into flames. Why yes, he could, would he, does he like to- no way. Not in 1000000000000000 years. "I never said that." He merely said.

OOC: Okay, Colleen was here all along

"Oh, jeez, Calix, no need to be throwing hats at the psychic girl." Colleen said with a laugh, once she saw Calix pretend to read the hat's history. Her eyes widened at the sound of celebrity couple names. "Hmm," she said, tapping her chin, "I'm feeling Eniabe. It has a certain ring to it. Don't you think?" Colleen chuckled, nudging Enid with her elbow playfully. "Okay, okay. Enough teasing." She finally stated, her dimple shown from smiling so wide.

"Okay, fine! Geez, I just wanted to get to know him a little." He stood up and sat back down with his friends, smiling.

Enid had sunk in her seat, trying to hide from the boy she had accidentally hit with the hat earlier as he now looked around the room for the culprit who had just thrown a hat to his head. As Colleen then spoke, telling Calix there was no need to throw hats at the psychic girl, Enid gave her a grateful smile. But it faded and her jaw dropped at the girl's following words, listening as she voted for the best celebrity couple name. "Not you too, Colleen!" gasped Enid, now sitting up once again on her seat. "How long is the food going to take to get here?" she then asked with a sigh, beginning to grow impatient. "Do you think we could sneak out of here without any of the elders noticing?" she asked with a mischievous little grin, her green eyes sparkling deviously.

Colleen merrily laughed when Enid couldn't believe she joined in with the celebrity couple naming. "You should have seen it coming, En!" She joked with her friend. "I know, I am literally going to eat my own hand pretty soon!" Colleen said, her eyes widening to saucers. "Why yes, little psychic, I believe you could sneak out. Little ol' me here cannot, on the other hand. Don't see how making it hot outside could help us sneak out.." Her thoughts faded and she sat up straight in her chair. "Wait a minute! I could make a tornado. Quick! Make me mad." She said, grinning but only half-joking, knowing there was no way to get her so furious right now when she was so happy.

"Oh Enid, always the one wanting to take the risk." Delilah giggled. She sighed and looked around."Ugh! I am sooo hungry!" she complained and grabbed her stomach. She couldn't wait much longer!

Enid gasped as Colleen suggested she could make a tornado before then asking her to make her angry. "Make you angry? Alright, I'll try," said Enid with an amused smile before wiping the amusement off her face and turning more serious. "Colleen... you are the absolute most foul thing I have ever laid eyes on! You're a complete bore, too, and I regret the day I ever met you! Erm-- I think you're really annoying! And..." Enid let her gaze scan the table before picking up her napkin and throwing it at Colleen. "I hate you!" Her acting wasn't too bad, but it was quite obvious she didn't mean any of these things. "Did it work? Are you angry?" she asked hopefully.

Coheed laughed at Enid's innocent attempt to make Colleen angry. It did bring a smile to her face though. Really, a tornado was not something she would want to expierence either. Co would much rather like the building to remain in one piece. "Now now children, let us not make haste desicions." Coheed giggled.

OOC: Lol are we ever going to start a new day?

ooc: I dunno, I was kind of wondering the same thing. I'd move on to another day or later on, but I dunno how everyone else would take that...

Enid turned to the amused Coheed and smiled. "Have you got any suggestions, then, Co?" she asked the girl. She really wanted to leave and start causing chaos already, but it was difficult to do so when they were all locked in the dining hall. Well, not literally... they could sneak out, which the girl really wanted to do, but it seemed the others at the table weren't so crazy to go and start getting into trouble on what was only their first day. "I say we walk out. We can say we need the restroom or something and not come back. I'll be able to tell if anyone's coming looking for us and they'll never catch us," she suggested with a shrug of her small shoulders.

Xavior laughed. "I think they'd suspect something was up when we didn't come back from the bathroom. And all of us at once? They would definitely suspect something. Really Enid, I thought you were psychic." He grinned. He hoped she knew he was only joking.

Enid turned to Xavior as he spoke and stuck her tongue out at him in a very childish way, as was usual of her. "Well, of course we won't all go at once!" she said, before looking away and glancing around the room for any signs of any professors or any other Deumont elders that could catch them trying to sneak out. "Honestly, how much trouble can we get in just for missing dinner? This shouldn't even be mandatory! Actually - I don't think there's a rule that says we have to be here. What if you're not hungry? That's abuse, locking you up and forcing you to eat!" said the girl, and she then began to ramble for a couple more moments before turning quiet again to let out a yawn. She was growing a little more tired than she had expected to be so early in the night. Distractedly, the girl let her gaze fall to the bracelet Gabe had made for her earlier, her green eyes examining its perfect symmetry and intricate design with interest.

Ooc: Good grief you guys are quick!!

Arissa was laughing the whole time- she had missed hanging out with her friends like this. The use of powers, the fake use of powers, arguing and the pranks. Her eyes lit up as an idea hit her and she glanced around at the group.

"EVERYONE!" she called out, knowing she would be able to get everyone's attention. She knew how to be loud if she wanted- and now was one of those times.
"What do you say to one of our favorite games once we finish dinner?" she asked the group. "It will be an initiation for those that are new..." she glanced at Dimitri and Gabe with a warm smile. "And a welcome back for everyone else," she added with a grin. "Who's up for it?"

Colleen listened intently, taking a swig of pumpkin juice as Enid ranted about how boring and annoying she was. She was trying to focus on her emotions, but tricking herself into becoming angry at one of her best friends was quite hard. Right when Colleen was about to swallow her refreshing drink, Enid threw a napkin at her and said that she hated her. Colleen spit out her drink and broke out into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. When she got a hold of herself a few moments later, she sighed. "Well, Merlin! I believe that had the opposite effect!" She said, pointing out the large window on the other side of the room. The sun was was shining so bright that just looking at the window too long seemed to hurt her eyes. "So much for that plan." She said gloomily, but laughed a second after.

When Enid suggested going to the bathroom, Colleen nodded her head. "I'm in for anything. I need to get out of here!" She said, with a note of hysteria in her voice. She giggled when Enid said it was abuse to be locked in the dining hall being forced to eat. "Yeah, I feel like we have been sitting here for days." She replied, taking a bite of her roll. She wasn't really hungry, but it was just sitting there. And she was just sitting there. So she took another bite.

When Arissa suggested a game after dinner, Colleen's eyes widened and a grin spread across her face. "Now that is more like it! Sounds brilliant!" She exclaimed, pushing her hair out of her face.

OOC: Oh, dear. I'm just gonna pretend Calix was here the whole time.

Calix enjoyed watching everyone's playful banter. Of course, he didn't really mean Enid any harm. He thought of her almost as a sister. After all, wasn't that what a brother was supposed to do, annoy his siblings? No, Calix was glad to be back. This was where his true home was. He laughed as Enid mentioned running away. Unfortunately, he, Calix, would not be able to help very much with that. His power was not very useful in that sense. "Ah, come on. I doubt you'd last very long out there all alone. Although, you could join a circus. I'm sure they'd love to have a real fortune-teller." Calix offered, scrunching his face in amusement.

As Arissa suggested a game, Calix's eyes lit up in excitement. "Oh, a game! Brilliant! I'm good at those!" he said, jumping up and down in his seat. In his competitive nature, he would do anything to win. And he did win. Sometimes.

OOC: Ahh im so lost.....

Matt laughed along with all of the conversations going on. However he was being really quiet, which was quite unlike him. As Arissa mentioned playing a game, Matt smiled, "I'm up for that too!" He said quickly and happily. Oh that should be fun, especially with his good friends.

Tabithia's blonde head turned to the entrance of the dining room, as did most heads, when thirty suited waitors came into the room, each holding about three large trays of food as they started gracefully into the room of teenagers. They made their way to the tables, setting down the various delicious foods in the center of each table before scurrying out just the same way they came in, silently and very gracefully. Tabbie turned to her food with a sudden hunger setting in her stomach, starting at it in small, vigorous bites. She finished about ten minutes later, leaning back into her seat with a please smile on her tan face as she absentmindedly started to play with water between her hands. After the students had eaten, they were free to roam around until curfew at 9:30, when they had to be in their dorms. But Tabbie wasn't exactly ready to get up yet, and so she remained in her seat silently.

Enid nearly jumped in her seat when Colleen very suddenly and abruptly started laughing, causing the sun to come out in the middle of the night. Her jaw dropped at first, but only a couple seconds later, she found herself joining in the laughter. "Cole! You're supposed to be upset, remember?! I'm never throwing you any napkins again!" she said between giggles, her cheeks turning a bit pink. The young girl soon snapped out of the amusement as Calix began teasing her yet again, telling her she could join a circus, that they would love to have a real fortune-teller. "Oh yeah?" she said with amusement sparkling in her green eyes though she gave the boy her most mock-upset face. "Maybe you could come with me and be the supernatural talking monkey!" she said, taking the napkin she had thrown at Colleen earlier to throw it at the boy across the table instead.

But Enid's attention diverted from Colleen and Calix as Arissa suddenly called out to them, suggesting they play a game and get the new kids on initiation. Her eyes widened a bit and a grin spread across her face. "Initiation, initiation, initiation!" she began chanting excitedly, quite thrilled about the idea of getting the new students into a bit of trouble. But all thoughts about initiation or sneaking out were wiped from her mind as the waiters came into the room and placed the food on the students' tables before very quietly and gracefully heading back out. Enid grinned. She wasn't hungry at all after those fries and watermelon, so she spent most of her dinner time throwing bits of her food at unsuspecting people, especially those sitting at the table with her. Yes, she was all about being most ladylike and having manners... not. Once the students were free to wander around the school, Enid grinned. "Let's go get the fresh meat initiated, shall we?"

Colleen just laughed and shrugged in a what-can-you-do way. "You are just too funny, En." She said, then quickly nodded her head when Enid started chanting about initiating the new people at the Duermont House. "Oh, the poor newbies." Colleen stated simply, a mischevious smile spreading across her face.

Once Colleen finished eating, she felt much better. Nobody seemed to be getting up from the tables yet, so she started to mindlessly twist her rings around her finger. Then she looked over at Tabithia, who had been extremely quiet during the meal, and grinned while tapping her shoulders to make sure she got her full attention. "Hey, wait a minute, missy! You never told me exactly how your 'little' tsunami happened!" She said, putting air quotes around 'little'. "Please, do tell." She added, prompting Tabbie for a tell-all,while her eyes widened with curiosity.

"Game? I'm up for that!" Delilah gave the newbies a look."Initiation!" she giggled. This would be fun. Delilah ate and slumped back in her seat."Finally! I'm not hungry anymore!" She giggled and looked at Arissa."Game time." she said with a smile.

Tabithia looked up from her hands which were spouting water from one to the next, her wide blue eyes meeting Colleen's curious one. She gave a weak, sheepish smile as she realized what she wanted to know; the tsunami. "It wasn't that big of a deal..." the girl trailed off with a soft chuckle and a shrug of her shoulders. "It was mid-July I guess and I was just spending another day at the beach....I was a little bored, so I started to play with my water, y'know in my hands," she started, referring to when she spouted water between her hands. "And then, no one was really around, so I was just going to try out maybe adding a little more water to the mix, y'know, gather it from the ocean..." Tabbie trailed off, her blue eyes amused and her smile amused. "But when I tried to grab a gallon, I, uh...I grabbed much, much more..." she trailed off with a soft giggle.

OOC: Erm... Calix likes food...

Calix heard Enid's comment about him being a monkey. "Oh, yeah? Well you- that is I- no- oh, why don't you just shut it!" he spewed. Blast it! He couldn't think of an appropriate comeback. He'd have to try extra hard next time.

Calix's mind was wiped clean of all thought processes when the waiters came in. FOOD! So. Much. FOOD. It was like he'd never eaten those fries and watermelon slices. Quickly, he gorged himself on FOOD. Oh, so lovely! What was it about the metabolism of a teenage guy that allowed them to eat so much and yet to gain so little? Of course, Calix was not bothered by this question. No, nothing could distract him from his brilliant relationship with FOOD. Once he finished, he looked around the table with glee, hyperactive and practically hyperventilating. He noticed Enid throwing tidbits of FOOD at people. Yes, you heard me correctly. Throwing FOOD. The audacity! "Enid! How dare you throw FOOD! That should be a sin! I can't believe you!" he cried, almost in disbelief.

Calix agreed with the suggestions of an initiation. Initiations were always good things. Besides, it would be fun. And Calix liked his fun. As Tabbie mentioned her... accident over the summer, Calix had to laugh. 'The things we can do...' he sighed, thinking about everyone's powers.

"Whoa, what's this I hear about a tsunami?" said curious little Enid as she turned to Colleen and Tabithia as the two young girls exchanged words. She then listened as Tabbie explained her incident with the ocean water during the summer and her eyebrows rose at this. That wasn't fair! Why didn't Enid have some super cool powers that allowed her to cause chaos?! But before the girl could open her mouth to complain about this, Calix was scolding her for throwing food around. She smirked at this. "What? What're you talking about? You mean this?" She then proceeded to pick up a piece of broccoli and threw it at the boy. "C'mon, guys, we should go get the newbies initiated!" she said, then turning her attention back to the group overall. She was dying to get Dimitri to spread vines all around the halls so the unsuspecting students would trip and fall flat on their faces.
