She lets all of her frustrations out on paper, into songs. The reason she is considered insane is because when ever she speaks to someone she speaks as if she were talking to herself. The reason her foster parents abuse her is because they think she is too different, she is an Elemental.

Personality:Shane is your all around prankster. He's never serious and loves playing jokes on people whether big or small. So, what's his biggest flaw? He's incredibly obnoxious and arrogant and has no regard to other people's feelings. He's a bit too honest and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind even if someone gets hurt (though he's an act-now-think-later type of person so he usually says things not with the intention of anyone getting hurt).

And, she may not look it, but she’s a huge flirt. Raquel also enjoys going outside and sitting in the grass quietly to draw. It was the first day of winter break. Raquel was already awake and in the empty Great Hall. It was always very still during the break. She looked up and could see that it was already snowing outside with dull, gray clouds filling the sky. She looked back at her empty plate and then around the Great Hall. It was empty, though she didn't expect many students to show up--most of them went home after all.

Shane was the next one down. He had woken up abnormally early. He was definitely the type of guy to sleep in, especially during the weekends and holidays. But he had been woken up by the arrival of an owl. It had been from his mum. He didn't even bother opening it because he knew exactly what type of letter it was; scolding him probably for not coming home for break. He didn't care. He'd rather stay at school anyway. He shrugged it off and joined Raquel in the Great Hall. "Hey, Rae," he said sitting beside her with a huge yawn.

"Well, you're up early," she said rather surprised. "I think this is a new record for you." But Shane didn't seem to be paying attention. He was focused on filling his growling stomach with food.

"Fau-stooooooooo!" an shrill opera mimic grated against the dormitory walls. Antony was up bright an early and jumping rakishly atop his trainwrecked bed, his shirt undone. Break was a time when the brothers got up early, took their operation to one secret A&F Jokes Super Secret Lab and unleashed hell for the professors to clean. One for each twelve days of Christmas. It was a tradition of sorts. "One neatfreak roomate, gone on holiday!" he punched a fist through the air, letting loose a handful of firecrackers. A piece of old toast was between his teeth and he was guiding a pig-shaped firework around the room that uttered heinous squeals on a five-second count. "Oi, mate," he crowed in the direction of the bathroom again. "Come look at this: think it'll break up breakfast?"

Fausto pulled a comb through his hair and leaned in the doorway, buckling his belt. "Not good enough," he shook his head methodically. "I told you, never plan this early in the morning. Your mojo just ain't there, man..." he made a sinking gesture with his hand. "This is break," he nodded seriously, crossing the room and digging around for a clean shirt. "It needs to be epic..."

"Epic," Antony mirrored.

"Brilliant," Fausto buttoned up.

"Brilliant," Antony now mocked.

"I need to come up with it..." Fausto suggested and immediately the firework shattered into a million sparks around his head, singing the chocolatey goodness of his Italian curls into a charred New Orleans-cuisine-colored black.

It was ten minutes later that the brothers wrestled into the Great Hall, grunts and 'ow's' terrorizing the peaceful breakfast scene. "Morning! Morning!" they called to their respective mates and girlfriends mid-fight. Fausto had Antony in a headlock and Antony had a whizz-bang--fuse lit, running out fast, and intent on the great big bowl of mushy, messy porrige on the professors' table.

"Fire in the hole!" he bellowed, breaking free from his brother and arcing the firework across the room.

Shane ducked dully as the firework passed overhead. Nothing out of the ordinary so far. He knew the two brothers quite well. After all they were in same house and year. Plus, like Shane, they liked to cause mayhem around every corner. Though, Shane was taking a break. None of his normal victims were down as of yet and he used this break time to plan new and spectacular pranks for when everyone got back. He liked having a large audience, even if it earned him detention until the end of the year.

Though as the firework neared Raquel, she shrieked and quickly ducked her head in the nick of time. "Isn't it a bit early for fireworks?" said Raquel who was cautiously looking around to make sure there weren't any other hazards that the brothers may have brought with them. She was used to the jokes and tomfoolery because she had known Shane for so long, but still. She wished sometimes the boys would cool off. She had eight brothers to deal with at home, she'd rather not deal with boys here too.

Oliver groggily made his way down to the Great Hall, scratching his dark head. He hadn't been up long; it was apparent in the shape of his wrinkled clothes. He waved to everyone and sat down, grabbing a peice of toast.

Maddie jumped downstairs and grinned at everyone. She plopped beside Oliver, grabbing something quickly to eat. "Hey, Rae," she grinned at the only girl present in the room so far.
