 Tara Tatum used to be an average, every-other-girl kinda girl at Hogwarts, and who is best friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione. But when she lands a recording contract with a mega muggle record producer, she is swept away to America for a year of performing. She instantly climbs the ladder of success, becoming one of the most popular recording artists to ever live! But when she takes the year off to return to her final year at Hogwarts, she is instantly taken by the thick headed, concieted Draco Malfoy. Will they really fall in love? What was with this flightiness? Sam wondered. She sat there in shock after he hugged her. Why did he? He also said she had a cute laugh. Sam raised her eyeborws and stood up. She walked over to her own table again, prepared for a ll the remarks that would greet her.

"Oh ok bye Ron!," Tara said. She smiled when Ron hugged her. It felt so right. She turned back to Harry. "Can you tell me exactly why you weren't here last night? Come on, Harry! We're best friends!"

Hermione woke up, and yawned. She got ready and walked down into the Gryffindor common room. I wonder what time it is.. There weren't many people in the common room, it was practically deserted. She frowned to herself remembering last night. She was more distant from her friends, than she had ever been. Some of them were starting to get on her last nerve. She discarded her thoughts, and walked down slowly to the Great Hall. Before entering, she put her wide smile on. Then she walked over to the Gryffindor table, and took a seat, pouring herself a large cup of coffee. "Harry!" She said smiling. "Where were you last night?"

Sam turned around and saw Jason return. She smiled at him slightly, but she didn't stand up to talk to him. She still couldn't understand his flighty attitude...even though, she was starting to like him and the fact that he was mysterious made it rather intriguing. She didn't realize that her smile was turning in a grin and she was still looking at Jason.

Jason smiled then frowned as he heard a voice in his head coming from a bat flying overhead. 'You like her don't you?' it asked. "It's not like that" He lied to the bat and walked out and to the roof. The bat flew over to Sam when he left. "He went to the roof again. He likes you" It said and flew off.

Sam jumped as she saw the bat. She was dead scared of bats. She let out a small gasp as she heard it speak, but her disgusted frown quickly formed into a smile as she listened to what the bat said.
Sam stood up, smoothed her dress and left the Great Hall. She walked down the corridor and went outside. Quickly findind a trellis, Sam took off her high-heeled shoes and began climbing up. It was difficult and the fact that Sam was dead scared of heights added even more pressure. She made somehow and she finally saw the rooftop and Jason. She swung one foot over nimbly, but slipped and shrieked slightly. Regaining balance she managed to crawl back up and stand up. She was an odd sight now. Leaves and jasmine flowers were tangled in her long hair and she was carrying her shoes.
She smiled uneasily at Jason and asked. "So, is this some sort of secret spot that I'm not supposed to know about?"

Hermione caught Ron rolling his eyes at her and Harry. She frowned at Ron and stood up from the table in aggrivation. "I'm going to go for a walk." She announced to no one in particular. "See you later Harry." Hermione followed Sam out of the Great Hall, but turned in the opposite direction. She walked outside the castle, and down to the lake. Looking out onto the water she thought about how her friendships had suddenly changed with this new year. She discarded her thoughts, and walked back up to the caslte.

Jason smiled as Sam climbed up on the roof. He smiled thinking she looked quite beautiful with the jasmin flower in her hair. He shook his head at the thought. He looked at her sortof funny. "You brought you shoes?" He asked then shrugged. He was wearing black leather shoes that were basically for hiking as he sat on the roof.
He stood and smiled. He was used to being on the roof. "Not really. I come up here to think sometimes" He said then helped her to sit down. Although, when they sat down it felt more like they were on the ground then the roof. | |
