"While the punishments may be harsh, in many cases resulting in expulsion from society, these rigid consequences have had a positive reaction on the criminal activity of our world."

This 'expulsion from society' is, by widespread rumor, nothing less than a death sentence for the criminals in question. While no one outside the Ministry of Magic is certain of the method by which the sentences are carried out, it's certainly enough to send lawbreakers fleeing the country. When asked about the growing number of convicts escaping Britain's boundaries, the Minister had this to say:

"Unfortunately, we have had very little luck with recapturing the outlaws and bringing them to justice. Three years ago, however, after the capture and interrogation of Artemis Braker, a man who had at one time been the leader of the Evacuation Movement--as it has been called--we did discover the reason we are having so much trouble and we are ready to provide that information to the public. There is a sort of an underground system," Tannenheight saus, "that is erasing the memories of these outlaws and then relocating them to other countries. These outlaws, themselves, have no idea that they've ever broken any laws, which is making it difficult to locate them. However, providing this information to the public and making them aware of this growing problem, hopefully we may gather information to help us put an end to this rampant fugitive problem."

So, I’ve been experimenting with new ways of RPing that will prevent RPs from dying out before they’re finished. And I succeeded quite well with my previous RP, Misplaced Memories, which was actually finished. This is its sequel. Don't worry. You don't have to go back and read the original in order to participate. If your character did not exist in the previous RP, then they simply do not know what happened in it and won't know unless one of the old characters mentions it.

Now, this is how this is going to work. I will NOT be playing any character. I will be playing the plot. You should all interact with each other and I, as the plot, will tell you what happens as a consequence of your actions (if any).

I’m also adding a new element to this RP: You don’t build your own character sheets. I'm tired of everyone playing within their comfort zone with characters they know how to play. I will, of course, take suggestions about what type of character you would like to play, but in general, you have no idea who you’re playing. How will this work, you ask? Well, allow me to tell you.

I have a few thumbnails of faces below. You will choose what your character looks like. And, over the course of the game, I will give little bits of your memory back. Quite possibly including your name. And you get to try to piece together what has happened to you and decide what to do about it.

My rules are super easy but very important

1. Have fun. That’s always number one.
2. There is NO minimum amount line for your posts. Sometimes, you can’t do more than one sentence.
3. When you DO post, however, please check your spelling and grammar.
4. Be kind to your fine posting friends.

Tristan knew floo hubs were usually in large places - like the very airport they were in - train stations, etc. But they had to go to a floo hub that wouldn't be so close to here, as it wouldn't take long for those after them to catch up with them. In the end, they had their driver go for what felt like eternities; Tristan wasn't really keeping up with the time, but he knew they were definitely outside of the city by the time the car stopped. The ride was a bit awkward; despite his obvious like for Zoé's company, things were still a little… strange. But how could they not be? They hadn't seen each other or talked at all for nearly ten years! They might as well be strangers. It was strange, that was for sure, but it didn't mean he enjoyed her company any less, even if at first they didn't speak as much as he would've liked to.

Besides, they had other things in mind, important business to tend to.
Tristan paid the taxi driver as they got out of the car and headed to the nearest floo hub in a train station in a very small, isolated town. He was surprised to find that they offered floo rides all the way to Germany, but that was all the better for them, since it meant they'd reach England quicker - well, that was both good and bad. But a step closer to their goal, anyway.

After paying for their floo powder and making the line to the fireplaces, Tristan allowed Zoé to head in before him, just after they'd decided they'd be heading to Heidelberg, Germany, where they'd stay just for a few days (to lose their stalkers/followers) before heading over to England. Though if they'd go directly through floo or if they'd fly there, they hadn't really decided. But they had time. For now they just had to get out of Australia and to Germany.

"After you," said Tristan as he stepped aside for Zoé to go ahead and enter the fireplace with her floo powder.

ooc: hope you don't mind I kind of had time moving fast here, just had to make sure they got somewhere.

No one was talking on the ride, which made things very.. awkward. You see Zoé was naturally a great small talker, so it was strange for her to keep quiet. She blushed for half the trip! Ugh!!! She was mad at herself for that. Was.. was she falling for Tristan? Noo.... Maybe... Yes?

They payed for their flew powder and went over to the fireplace. "Thank you, Tristan." she replied and walked into the fire place. She used the floo powder and disappeared.

She ended up in a fireplace. A big red one. She walked out and saw signs that read "Ich..." she then smiled, thanking herself for learning German. She could read! Yay! She then turned back and waited for Tristan, because they were together and it would be rude if she just ran off now?

Opening her blue eyes, Logic was surprised to find Frenchie's coat on her, though she was grateful for it nonetheless. As she took in a deep breath to test out her side a bit, she could smell him on every part of the jacket. This may have been comforting her more than how it had been intended to keep her warm.

Even though she was feeling much much better than before, Logic stayed where she was so she didn't move until she absolutely had to. Of course, she was anxious to make sure Frenchie was still okay. After their scare with the wizard, she felt guilty for having fallen asleep where she couldn't protect him.

Realizing too late that those were the exact words Frenchie had used in the cockpit, Logic blushed as well, but much lighter than he. At his words, none of it mattered, though. That wasn't a good reason. She turned her head away from him when he looked at the ground and didn't look back when his eyes returned to her. "We can't keep doing this, Frenchie," she said with a sigh, shaking her head. She looked back over at him. "I'm not going to do this undefined boundaries stuff and accidental kisses---- it's just not going to work," she finished firmly, though she felt awful. After all, it wasn't like she didn't like kissing Frenchie, but she was so confused and yeah, she knew he loved her, but that wasn't helping when nothing else was defined.

Frenchie sighed and ran a hand through his hair, he knew she was right, they couldn't keep doing this it wasn't fair to either of them "As always Logic, you are right,"he said sadly as he looked out the window to the clouds passing by, "so what do we do then?" he asked, his eyes never leaving the window.

Ugh. She knew she was right, but Logic haaaaaated being right. Especially now. Frenchie looked out the window and Logic couldn't find anything to say in reply to him.... until his question, that is. She gulped silently at it. What do they do? ....WHAT DO THEY DO??!! ..... ..... ..... "I--I don't know," she said, her voice cracking a little. What was Jeffery going to say when they got to New Zealand? She'd already made it clear her and Frenchie weren't together, but now.....

Frenchie sighed and looked at at Logic, "well that makes two of us," he said sadly, as he sat back in his chair and tapped his chin thinking, "how about we wait.....wait till this war against the Ministry is over and then we give it a try." He looked at her with a questioning look, what if one of us dies he thought but he shook his head slightly don't think that. Frenchie inwardly sighed, what if he died? He knew that what they were going to do was beyond dangerous......maybe they shouldn't wait?

Frenchie watched as she thought about the idea and while he waited his mind went back to what he was doing when Logic was sleeping, watching the timer tick down as they got closer and closer to Jeffery; he didn't want to admit to himself but he knew that he had a 50 percent chance of losing Logic to him which is why when he heard her agree to his idea his stomach twisted and his throat when dry, he nodded "Okay then," he said, clearing his throat slightly and returning her smile. All of a sudden he heard a beeping noise coming form the cockpit, his eyes widened and he looked at Logic, "Follow me," he said.

Logic was a little disheartened to see that Frenchie didn't have much of a response but a very solemn one. But he did try to return her smile, so Logic kept her own upon her lips. "Okay..." she said, a little unsure of what the beeping was coming from and why it was causing Frenchie that look - one she couldn't even place, but she got up and did as he said anyway.

Logic was a little disheartened to see that Frenchie didn't have much of a response but a very solemn one. But he did try to return her smile, so Logic kept her own upon her lips. "Okay..." she said, a little unsure of what the beeping was coming from and why it was causing Frenchie that look - one she couldn't even place, but she got up and did as he said anyway.

Frenchie walked into the cockpit and looked at Logic, "If you wouldn't mind taking the co-pilot sit my dear," he said as his eyes moved back, finding the flashing red light, "Okay so there are three reasons that light flashes, their could be a storm coming, we could have run out of fuel, or......well let's not worry about the third reason for now." He started pushing buttons, and looking at different screens and such.

Logic slid into the alotted seat and glanced fearfully over at Frenchie as he found the light that seemed to be causing him the problems. Okay, storm didn't sound too bad. Fuel.... oy. That didn't sound good. And the third? ....Logic shook her head, not wanting to think about what it could be. "What's going on?" she asked finally after he had kept pressing buttons.

He shook his head and looked at a screen, "and the engines are fine......I literally have no idea what is wrong with the plane but I think it might have something to do with magic." He looked at her slightly worried.

Logic frowned as she listened to what Frenchie was saying. She was glad he was explaining what was going on instead of just pressing random buttons while she sat there without having anything to do. She barely even blushed at his comment about the sky and her eyes (though she did a little). "Magic," she repeated, looking involuntarily out the window and biting her lip. "What do we do?"

Frenchie looked at Logic and shrugged, "Well, we are only 30 minutes away from Jef-New Zealand," he said correcting himself, "I think we should keep flying but keep our wands on hand and I should take the plane off of auto-pilot..... just in case." He clicked a switch up and began flying the plane.

Frenchie chuckled lightly at Logic's comment, "I will try my best to not kill us my dear," he said as he looked at the sky. He was afraid that there was someone out there, someone that could blow them out of the sky with just a flick of their wrist, of course he would not tell Logic his fear one of them scared was good enough. "You can go back to your seat if you want," he told her, "All I will be doing is steering the plane and that is not even remotely interesting......and I don't want to bore you to death."
