20 years after Harry Potter banished Voldemort from the wizarding world, he comes back with a plan to control Middle Earth. Now it is up to Harry's daughter Joely and a group of our favorite Lord of the Rings characters to stop that from happening.

The day of her graduation from Hogwarts, Joely is sent to Middle Earth, where she befriends King Aragorn and his son, Aerosepth, who is assigned to protect her. But when Aerosepth and Joely fall in love, he is sent away, will they ever see each other again, and will Joely be able to stop Voldemort from taking over the world?

Idril smiled. "Yes, Falcrin was having fun alright," she said, wringing out her long blond hair. She saw Orion look over and she gave him a small smile. Her look darkened as she watched him, wondering what had put him in this state.

Falsath laughed as his soaking wet son collided with him. "Hello to you to, Crin!" he said with a laugh. "Got a little wet, did we?" he asked Aspeth and Idril, grinning.

Falcon nodded enthusiastically, "I have fun daddy! Will you swim with me?" he asked. tugging on his father's clothes.

Aspeth got out of the water as well and walked over to her husband and son "Yes please daddy, come swim with us." she said with a smile, causing Falcrin to laugh.

She stopped at his side and kissed his cheek, "So, how was the paperwork?" she asked, shooting a smile at Idril.

Falsath smiled at his son. "Sounds like a wonderful idea," he said, taking his son's hand. Falsath laughed as Aspeth mimicked their son. "Alright, I guess, since you asked," he said, winking at Aspeth. "The paperwork was long, and there's still piles to work on," he said with a sigh.

Idril laughed and shot a wink at Aspeth. She walked up to Orion. "You're quiet so far," she said, smiling at him as she wrung out her hair more.

Orion shrugged "I really dont have much to say, sorry if it does not please you." he said

Aspeth nodded "Yup paper work is usually that way." she said with a smile, she reached down and took his hand, "Come on."

Falcrin took his other hand and nodded, "Yeah daddy! Come play with us."

Idril frowned slightly. "What's gotten into you? I only asked a simple question, you don't have to snap at me," she shot back, slightly irritated. She was interrupted by a servant bringing the lunch. Thanking her, she took a towel and wrapped it around herself as she sat down at the shore.

Falsath smiled. "Well, I would love to come in, but I think our lunch has just arrived," he said, steering his wife and son toward the blanket where IDril was setting out the food. He took some of the towels and wrapped Aspeth in one, while, covering Falcrin with another. "Now, where did Falcrin go?" he asked, looking around.

Orion shook his head, "I don't have a problem, do you?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

Aspeth smiled at Falsath as he wrapped a towel around her and then loaded Falcrin's plate with his favorite foods. She looked up at Idril and Orion and frowned, "Are you two quite done?" she asked, becoming a bit cross.

"Apparently one of us does...I was pretty happy before you came with this bad mood of yours," she said, looking at him. "What, are you sulking because I ran away from you in the barn?" she asked him, wrapping the towel more tightly around herself. She took a few steps away from the blanket, not wanting to interrupt their lunch. "I hope so," she responded to Aspeth, and walked away from Orion to sit by Aspeth. "Sorry," she whispered, so that only Aspeth could hear her.

Falsath smiled. "C'mon guys, there's plenty for everyone!" he said, smiling at his two friends. "You don't have to fight over the turkey," he added, shooting a smile to Aspeth.

Aspeth laughed and smacked Falsath's stomach lightly, "You are not helping." she said with a smile, she handed him a plate before she started to make one for herself.

"Look Iril! Grape!" Falcrin said sweetly, chucking a grape at Idril's head.

Orion sat wordlessly beside Falsath, looking at him out of the corner of his eye, as if he was trying to send a subliminal message to him

Idril dodged the grape easily. "Now Crin...that's not the way to do it," she said, grinning evilly. She took a handful and aimed them so that they went down Crin's shirt. She also made sure she hit Falsath with one. She avoided even looking at Orion.

Falsath laughed. "Now children, play nice!" he said, trying to dodge Idril's grape, but was his on the arm with it. HE saw Orion's look, and thought quickly. "I'm not too hungry yet, Orion, do you want to take a quick walk with me?" he asked, standing up.

Orion nodded immediatly and stood up without looking at Idril.

Falcrin squealed as the graped slid down his short "Iril!" he said, lifting his shirt as all of the grapes fell out.

Aspeth smiled at Falsath, but didn't look at her brother, as far as she was concerned, he was acting like a jerk.

Idril grinned at Falcrin. "And this is where you learn to never start a grape throwing war with your godmother," she said, with a wink at Aspeth. She sighed as Orion and Falsath left. "I hope you saw that I was defending myself," she said, still slightly annoyed at the situation. "What was up with him?" she asked, mainly to herself.

Falsath walked with Orion to a nearby glade of trees. "YOu know I'm horrible at reading people," he said with a sigh to Orion. "What's going on?" he asked, glancing back toward the blanket.

Orion shook his head, "I have no idea." he said exhasperated, "She just bothers me." he said, trying not to sound like a little kid.

Aspeth shrugged, "I don't know, but he seemed to be egged on by your respneses, maybe you should just take it easy." she suggested.

Idril sighed. "I guess...but it was because of his response that I got in a bad mood," she said, leaning back on her hands. "And I don't know what put him in such a mood anyway, he was fine earlier..." she said, making a face as she looked out over the water. "Uh! Men!" she said, laying down.

Falsath smiled slightly as they walked. "Why? What did she say? Was it her tone of voice? Or was it just her being there?" he asked, trying to figure out the cause of Orion's feelings. Suddenly, he heard the snap of a twig, and he paused. "What was that?" he asked, peering through the surrounding trees. He noticed also that most of the birds had gone quiet as well, as if something was wrong.

Aspeth smiled, "I really have no idea what is going on with you two." she said, adding more grapes to Falcrin's plate, "All I know is it needs to be resolved soon, it is not healthy."

Orion looked up, his eyes scanning the forest's edge, "I don't know, but I dont like the stillness." he said softly, wishing he had brought his bow.

Idril sighed. "Yeah...I know what you mean," she said, looking up at the sky. It was then she noticed how quiet it was. She frowned, listening for any type of bird's song, but didn't hear anything. Shaking the feeling away, she sat up. "I think I'm going to see if I can talk to him," she said, standing up. She walked over to get her change of clothes, and slipped her tunic on. She also unwrapped her knives, and strapped two onto her arms to add to the ones she already had. She also put two in her boots, something just didn't feel right. "I'm going to find them...just in case," she said, placing the knives next to Aspeth, but in a way the Falcrin didn't notice. "Something doesn't feel right," she said quietly, before walking off into the forest.

Falsath wished he had brought some sort of weapon. His sword was lying on the beach next to his clothes and towels, and the only thing he had was a small knife. Taking it out, he looked around. Suddenly, he heard another twig snap, and three men in dark cloaks appeared. They were all tall, and their hoods were raised...but if you got a glimpse of their faces, you could see silvery masks. Each had knives with them, but everyone seemed surprised at the appearence. Suddenly, the three dark men attacked, not giving any warning.

Orion lunged at the tallest man doing whayever he could to not get stabbed while he was fighting without a weapon.

Aspeth nodded, noting the knives as Idril walked away, she had felt the change too, it was so sudden that she had not thought that much into it, she only hoped that Idril and Orion wouldnt start another fight. She smiled down at Falcrin as he tossed a grape in the air.

Falcrin was able to block the first attacker, but the second came on him quickly. Luckily, this one didn't have a knife, but it was all he could do to prevent the two that did have them from stabbing him. He moved around quickly, dodging blows and getting in a few of his own. He didn't like the way the men stayed masked, and it added a sense of mystery to the men as they fought.

Idril heard shuffling with occasional shouts and she picked up speed, getting her knives ready as she ran. "Hey!" she yelled as she dashed into the field. Removing the knives from her boots, she tossed one to Orion, and kicked the guy who was sneaking up behind Falsath. She tossed Falsath one of her longer knives and battled against the third man. She was able to cut the robes many times, but was never able to get skin. Finally, she left a deep cut on his arm. Suddenly, one of the other men came over, and the three of them disappeared with a small pop. "You two alright?" asked Idril, breathing hard.

Orion looked at Idril and managed a small nod, "How did you know to come?" he asked, breathing hard, "And where are Aspeth and Falcrin?"

Aspeth smiled down at Falcrin again and he stood up, "Mommy, when is daddy coming back?" he asked, walking around her back and to her other side.

Idril turned to Falsath. "You should go back and make sure their okay," she said to Falsath.

Falsath nodded. "I was just going to suggest that," he said, already walking back toward the lake. He trotted through the forest, knife ready, but also not obvious. He sighed in relief as he saw Aspeth and Falcrin safe. "Thank goodness," he said, coming to sit next to his wife, and embracing her. "Are you both alright?" he asked.

Idril turned to Orion. "The forest was really quiet...and that rarely happens unless something is wrong," she said quietly. "We should probably scan the area to make sure they're gone," she said, still looking through the woods. She was still trying to get her breath back. "Are you alright?" she asked Orion as she searched the surrounding area, knifes still held in ready positions.

Orion nodded, "Yeah, are you?" he asked, tightening his grip on the handle of the knife.

Aspeth looked up worried, "Why do you say that?" she asked, looking up at him with a raised eyebrow, "Did something happen?" she whispered to him, trying her hardest not to scare Falcrin with the tone of her voice. "Where's Idril and Orion?" she asked, her eyes scanning the forest.

"A few scrapes here and there, but I think I'll live," she joked, still scanning the forest. She took a few steps out of the glade that they were in, looking for any sign of them men. "Its weird, its like they just vanished..." she said quietly.

Falsath turned to Falcrin without saying anything. "Hey Crin, do you want to find mommy some nice shells?" he asked, grinning at his son. "Just don't wander off too far," he said, watching him. He then turned to Aspeth. "Orion and I were attacked in the forest. I had my boot knife but nothing else, and they came out of nowhere," he said quietly. It was then that he noticed that the forest was alive again, birds singing and fluttering around. "Luckily Idril showed up with her knives, and then they just disappeared. Orion and Idril are still in the forest seeing if there's any sign of them, but they're alright," he reassured his wife. "I see Idril left you armed too," he said with a sly smile.

Orion silently followed Idril through the forest and nodded at her comment, "You're right, I think we should go to Father with this at once, he will want to know what happened."

Aspeth smiled at Falcrin as he got up and walked towards the shore. Then she turned back to Faslath, "What did they look like? What do you mean they disappeared, What in the world just happened?" she threw her arms around hm, "I'm so glad that you are okay!" she cried dramamticly, and then laughed a little at exactly how dramatic she had been, "I'm sorry." she said shaking her head, "But you know how I can be, especially while pregnant." she said with a smile.

Idril didn't see anything and she was slightly frustrated. "Right, let's go back and make sure that Aspeth, Falcrin, and Falsath are okay," she said, beginning to walk back. "Can I have my knife back? Or do you not have any other weapons with you?" she asked him, looking back.

Falsath thought for a minute. "Well, they were all wearing dark cloaks and silver masks, although whether they were made out of silver or not, I have no clue," he said with a smile. "Thye just vanished, were there one minute, and gone the next," he said, as confused as she was. "Well, I'm glad you're okay too," he said, hugging her back. "Although, I'm sure they wouldn't have been able to stand against you," he said, winking at her.

"Huh?" Orion asked, "O, yeah, here take it." he said handing her the knife, he was too preoccupied with thinking about what had just happedned to remember that he was mad at Idril.

Aspeth smiled, "When it comes to protecting my family." she said with a grin, "Everyone had better watch out." she looked off to the lake to make sure that Falcrin was still all right, and laughed when she saw he was in the water again.

"Thanks," said Idril as she sheathed it into her boot. She scanned the forest around her, and still seeing nothing, she sighed. "I guess its clear, we should head back to make sure your sister is okay," she said, waiting until he was next to her. "Look, about earlier," she began, looking to see Orion's reactions.

Falsath smiled as he watched his son. "I think he'll be fine out there, your swimming lessons sure did help," he said, kissing her on the cheek. "And I would love to see you in a fight, I think it would be..." he knew that he didn't need to substitute a word.
