20 years after Harry Potter banished Voldemort from the wizarding world, he comes back with a plan to control Middle Earth. Now it is up to Harry's daughter Joely and a group of our favorite Lord of the Rings characters to stop that from happening.

The day of her graduation from Hogwarts, Joely is sent to Middle Earth, where she befriends King Aragorn and his son, Aerosepth, who is assigned to protect her. But when Aerosepth and Joely fall in love, he is sent away, will they ever see each other again, and will Joely be able to stop Voldemort from taking over the world?

Aspeth resumed sitting where she had been before Falsath left. "Poor Falsath. "He tries so hard to keep me happy, he needs a little testosterone." she said with a laugh, running her fingers through her hair. She wasn't that far along, but already wearing her maternity clothes, and even though Falsath said he couldn't see it, she swore she could see a baby bump.

Aerosepth chuckled as he knocked on the door, "Well, if he doesnt answer, then that is our clue that he is still mad." he said with a smirk.

Idril laughed. "Yes...and I think I know just the person to give it to him," she said, rolling her eyes. She knew that Aspeth would know she meant Orion. "So, are you excited for another one," she said, indicating Aspeth's slightly swollen belly. "And, the favorite, boy or girl?" she asked, raising a teasing eyebrow.

Falsath grinned. "Well, he isn't mad at us, so I don't think we should worry... however he is a deep sleeper," he said with a suppressed chuckle.

Orion opened the door, groggily rubbing his eyes, "Wh- whats up?" he asked, holding back a yawn. His hair was mussed and sticking up everywhere.

Aerosepth laughed, "Er- maybe we should come back later or something." he said, casting a glance at Falsath and his half asleep brother.

Aspeth smiled, "I want a girl." she said without hesitation, "But I dont know about Falsath, he wont tell me what he wants, he keeps saying it doesnt matter. But we already have a boy, so a little princess would do everyone some good." she said with a smile.

Idril laughed. "Yes, I agree...it would be nice to hae a little princess for us to spoil! And maybe we can get your brother a girl and then your children will have some playmates!" she said, grinning.

Joely slowly awoke from her sleep. She heard conversation and remained as if she were still asleep. She wanted to hear what these people were planning to do to her...or just planning. She was surprised to hear just the two women...and they were talking about babies. She almost opened her eyes at the surprise, but she didn't. She wanted to hear what else they were going to say.

Falsath grinned as Orion opened the door. "Looks like someone was asleep...we just wanted to update you on what's going on...but if you want us to come back later..." he said, trailing off, hiding a grin as he looked over at Falsath.

Orion nodded, mumbling something that was supposed to be "Sure whatever come in." and he walked back into the room, sitting in a large armchair by the fire.

Aerosepth shrugged as he walked in to his brother's room. "I've forgotten how different your room is from Falsath's" he said with a grin, "Much more manly, and much less- Aspeth." he tossed his hair out of his eyes and laughed.

Aspeth smiled as she rested her hands on her stomach, "Well I hope so, I dont want to be the only one passing 9 pound kidney stones for the future of this family." she said with a laugh, "I know you saw the way Aero was looking at the girl, I think if he plays his cards right, she might fall head over heels." She looked from the girl to the fire and smiled, "If it is a girl, then I know she will be more spoiled than Falcrin." she said with a laugh, she hoped she would have a girl. She wanted one badly.

Idril laughed. "Yes, I noticed that too...he doesn't even know her yet! She could be the leader of the men in black cloaks and masks that we fought earlier, and Aero would be too madly in love to believe it!" Idril said, continuing to laugh. Idril looked at Aspeth's slightly swelling stomach. "Oh I can't wait to have another baby around the castle... it will be just like when Falcrin was a baby, with everyone cooing over him," she said with a sigh. She turned to face Aspeth, he face slightly flushed. "Maybe I'll meet someone at the ball..." she said, slightly dreamy eyed. "Then your children will have mine to play with!" she added with a laugh.

Joely listened to the women's conversation, disregarding all of the scoldings of how it was rude to eavesdrop. When she heard about the men in black cloaks, she gasped, bu covered it (she hoped) with a soft snore. Deatheaters? Here? How? she wondered, mulling this over in her mind as she listened to the continuation of the conversation. She was beginning to trust them, especially when they talked about children so fondly...no one evil could think that way. She was still unsure and continued to listen without interrupting.

Falsath grinned as he entered Orion's room. "Well, Orion is still a bachelor...as far as we know," Falsath teased, looking over to Orion for confirmation. "Besides, Aspeth would have the rooms no other way...and you know how she and Idril love to decorate and dress things up!" he said with a sigh. "Especially when the baby comes," he made a face then grinned. "What have you been up to Orion, before we fill you in?" he said, taking a seat near his step brother.

"Or maybe you are suited for royalty." aspeth added, leaning closer, "I have this theory that the reason why you and Orion fight so much is because you love eachother and dont know what to do about it." she said, smiling, "Remember when we were younger and Falsath would always trip me and chase me and pull my hair? Later on he told me that he did it because he liked me. You never know, maybe you and Orion are in that stage now, you never went through it before." She shrugged,

Orion looked up at his brothers, "I was thinking, about this ball." he confessed. Orion didnt like balls whatsoever, he thought they were a useless waste of time.

Aero laughed, "Afraid you will enjoy yourself? Meet a pretty girl?" he asked, pretending to be horrified at the thought.

Idril laughed, and laughed so hard that she was unable to speak for several minutes. "After what happened today?" she was able to get out, before laughing again. When she finally had control of herself, she shook her head. "I thought, once, and awhile ago, that I might have felt something for him...but just the past couple of weeks he has been nothing but cruel! And its not as if we're children anymore... I would expect that of someone in their early teens, not twenties," she said, reclining back in her chair. "As for royalty... the closest I'll get to royalty is where I am now, with you and your family, and with my Uncle as King in Rohan," she said with a sigh. "And I'm quite happy as a spoiled Princess of Rohan," she said with a mischievous grin.

Falsath struggled to hide his laughter, and managed to subdue it into faint chuckles. "Now Orion, they aren't all bad...your mother will be the main focus of the ball, and everyone else will be in costume...it is a masquerade. And who knows... the both of you may find someone," he added, deciding to tease Aerosepth a little as well as Orion.

Aspeth sighed, "Fine." she said, letting it go. She was quiet for a moment and them looked to Idril, "I'm thinking of having the baby in Rivendale." she said smiling, "Do you want to come along?"

Aero chuckled, "Meet a girl ew." he said.

Orion rolled his eyes at Falsath, "You had it easy, marry the king's daughter, a few short months before she gave birth." he said with a raised eyebrow.

Idril smiled. "Of course I do!! You know I've always wanted to go to Rivendale!" she said, reclining back in her chair. "Oh it will be just the escape we both need...just to get out of the city... oh, I know you love city life Peth, but I miss the country and the forests," she said with a smile. "Why did you want to go there?" she asked, looking over at her friend.

Falsath made a face. "We were already planning to get married before we knew about the pregnancy," he told Orion. "And we were responsible about it, if you remember," she said, crossing his arms. He looked over at Aero as he heard his comment. "Oh sure... I bet you wouldn't say that if we were in front of that new girl," he said, giving Aero a knowing look.

Aspeth shrugged, "I dont really know, but there's just something magical about that place." she said, thinking as she looked down at her hands, "I wanted to be there with Falcrin, but then he came so early, we didnt get to leave." she said, remembering the night her son was born, he was so tiny. "And possibly another reason would be it would be helpful to have the Elves around, in case something- goes wrong."

Aero looked up at Falsath, "What girl?" he asked, trying to look inncocent.

Orion looked from Aero to Falsath, "He's just trying to turn the attention on you Aero, cause he doesnt want us talking about how dad almost killed him when he found out about Falcrin." he added with a smirk.

Falsath shook his head. "He did not... I'll admit he was upset at first, but when we told him we had plans to marry, he let it go," he said with a shrug. "As for the girl..." he looked over to Orion. "That's why we're here, some things have happened and we wanted to update you," he said, his expression becoming serious.

Idril nodded. "I'm sure having the elves around will be reassuring. I've always noticed that your mother has a comforting presence... especially if she's healing someone," she said, remembering the times she had been in the infirmary and seen the queen at work. "So, I suppose you'll want to leave soon then, just in case?" she asked, looking at her friend.

Joely listened quietly as the two women continued to talk. Magic, after all, was something she knew well. As she listened about the elves, she became more curious. Did they use wands or spells? she thought as she continued to listen.

Aspeth nodded, "The day after the ball." she said, looking over her shoulder to see if the girl had woken up yet. "It will be much easier on my mind knowing that we are around the very skilled elves." she added.

Orion raised an eyebrow, "Oh really? Come out with it then." he said, sitting back as he listened to hear what Falsath had to say.

Idril nodded. "Well, I guess I should start packing then," she said with a small smile. "Does Falsath know?" she asked quietly. "Or your parents?" she asked, also glancing over at the girl.

Joely's back was to the two women, and she raised her eyebrow when she heard the word 'ball'. She loved dressing up, ever since she was little, and dances and such were always a big thrill for her. She wanted to say something, but decided that it wasn't the best time.

Falsath sighed. "Well, it began earlier tonight..." he began, and the explained up until how they had left the girls. "So, what do you think?" he asked him, raising an eyebrow.

Orion didnt know what to say, but he stood up, "I think the two of you are dunderheads leaving Aspeth and Idril with someone you dont know." he said, flattening his hair down as he walked over to the door, "Come on, both of you, we're going to get some answers from her.

"Well I think Falsath has an idea, but I havent exactly told him yet, and as for my parents, they will be worried about the journey to Rivendale, I dont want them to know until they absolutley have to." She said, pulling herself out of the chair she was sitting in and walking over to the bed. She leaned over the girl to check her wound. "I think we should wake her up and give her something to eat, we dont know how long she has been without food."

Idril nodded, standing up to bank the fire. It had burned down while they had been talking and she put more wood on the fire in order to bring it up. She looked up at Aspeth. "Personally, I think your parents will be fine with it... its Falsath that I think would freak out," she said with a sigh. She brought a bowl over to the fire where the pot of soup was warming up. She got the ladle and got some stew into the bowl.

Joely opened her eyes and smiled at Asepth. "I'm awake," she said quietly. "Look, I don't know much about you... but it seems to me that you don't mean to do me any harm... and I want to assure you that I will not harm you," she said, sitting up slowly.

Idril smiled slightly as she brought over the bowl of stew. "Well, that's slightly reassuring... especially since we helped to heal you," she said, handing over the bowl. "How's your head?" she asked, taking a seat next to Aspeth.

Joely smiled. "It aches slightly, but it feels better than before," she said, gladly accepting the soup. "So, where am I?" she asked, looking at the two women, who seemed only slightly older than herself.

Falsath shook his head. "Those two will be fine... besides, your parents are in the other room and your father is a very light sleeper," Falsath said as he walked out of the room with Orion. "We all know that Aspeth and Idril can defend themselves... and Idril and Peth are like sisters and work best together anyway," he said with a grin.

Aspeth smiled as she sat on the edge of the girl's bed, "My name's Aspeth and that's Idril." she said motioning to her friend, "You're in Gondor, where my father is the king." she added, tucking her hair behind her ear. She looked over at Idril, "Why do you think he will freak?" she asked, concerned, she didnt need Falsath becoming more protective than he already was, but then again, that was just the way he was, there was no chance in changing it, and when she thought about it, it made her feel very safe to know that Falsath would always have her as the number one priority and never let anything happen to her.

Aero shrugged as he joined the two, following behind them silently as Orion led the long way back to the King's chambers.

Joely shook her head. "As I thought, I have no clue where I am... I'm from England... have either of you heard of that before?" she asked, biting her lip as she looked at both women.

Idril smiled. "No, its almost as though you're from another world," she said, shaking her head at the silliness.

Joely has just taken a mouthful of soup and she waited a second after swallowing for the heat of the stew to warm her to her toes. "Well, that's not impossible... I've heard of wizards and witches that just apparate to no where," she said with a shrug.

Idril just stared at her. "Well, I have no comment on that..." she said, meeting Aspeth's eyes. "Oh, anyway, I think Falsath will just be worried, like he always is. You know hos he doesn't even want you to ride or any of that sort with the baby," she said with a small smile. "And especially since you want to leave so soon," she added.

"Oh, speaking of that place... what was it? River dance? I don't know... you mentioned magic? What sort of magic do they have? They might have taught me something at school similar..." she said, glad she was finally on a familiar topic.

Aspeth pursed her lips, "He's coming too, he can baby me all he wants, as long as he let's me go." she said with a slight smirk. Looking over at the girl, she raised an eyebrow, "Do you know how you got here?"

Orion pushed the door open with his shoulder and led Aero and Falsath in, "Ah, so she is awake." he said to Aspeth, avoiding all contact with Idril.

Idril smiled. "Well, I think that will help a little..." she said, trailing off as she saw the door open. She narrowed her eyes as Orion came in, following him as he walked across the room. "I knew I should have brought my knives," she muttered, half joking, to Aspeth.

Joely put down her empty bowl of soup, having finished it while Idril and Aspeth were talking. "Well, I was trying to apparate-"

"Apparate? What's that?" asked Falsath as he entered the room. He went over and took a seat, noting that the two women looked fine... except for the slight frustration in Idril's eyes.

Joely bit her lip. "Well, its a type of magic... it is basically disappearing from one place and appearing in another," she said.

"Magic? So... you're a wizard, like Gandalf," Idril said with a smile.

Joely shook her head. "No, I'm a witch... only men are wizards. There's no difference between them where I'm from, I don't know how it works here," Joely explained, hoping there wouldn't be much fuss about the different names. She tried not to let her mind think back to Witch burnings in the old times from her world. Based on what she had seen here, these people had similar amounts of advancement... but she hoped they had different beliefs.

Aspeth smiled at Falsath when he came in and for some reason she felt bad that she was making these plan concerning their baby, and he wasn't in on it. She stood up and walked over to his chair, "Can we go for a walk?" she asked him softly, hoping he wouldnt mind being away from the action for a little bit.

Orion exchanged glances with Aerosepth, who in turn looked at the girl, "Do you know anything about the cloaked men that were here before Idril found you?" he asked, someone had to ask.

Falsath nodded. "Sure, let's go," he said, taking her hand and kissing it gently. "What's on your mind?" he asked.

Ooc: Is this where they fight? Or did we want them to fight at the ball? Or was it fight now and make-up at the ball?

Idril resisted the urge to give Aspeth a pleading look. She did not want to be left here with Orion... but luckily he seemed to be ignoring her. Instead, she waved and turned to listen, her ears picking up the mention of the cloaked figures. "Yes, they were wearing silver masks to cover their faces as well..." she added, resisting looking at Orion for confirmation.

Joely paled. "Yes..." she said quietly. "They are called Deatheaters at my home," she said, looking down. "I heard you mention them before and I feared that it might be them... those details confirmed it," she said with a sigh. "Did they have their wands?" she asked them, looking up to meet the eyes of Idril and the two men.

Orion shrugged, "Well I dont know, I wasn't there." he said, looking over at Aerosepth, "Did you see any wands?"

Aero shrugged, "I didn't see anything, it all happened rather fast." he admitted.

Aspeth waited until they were away from anyone who could hear their conversation and intertwined his fingers with hers, "You remember what happened when Falcrin was born, he was so small and we thought he wasn't going to make it?" she asked softly, even after a few years, it was still hard for her to talk about it.

Ooc: I'm guessing you meant them the other way around? Orion was at the glade, Aero wasn't! Mainly clarifying that for myself!!

Falsath nodded at the memory. That had been a very dark time for him... the thought of losing his son again worried him even more. "What brought this up?" he asked her, looking into her eyes. "Are you worried about the new baby?" he asked, his voice hoarse.

Idril shook her head. "I didn't see anything either... they only had knives, but then after they were losing the fight, they just seemed to vanish into thin air," she said quietly, not wanting to recall the situation too loudly. It may have just been superstitious, but she didn't like the sound of these Deatheaters armed.

Joely frowned in thought. "Well, it is possible they left their wands behind, or weren't able to take them out... they were probably just a scouting party looking to see where they were... how they got here, I don't know," she said with a sigh.

Aspeth shook her head quickly, "No." she assured him, "But I dont know how this is going to go this time." she added looking down at her hands and biting her lip, "I'm scared of what could happen." she confessed to him, "Which is why I am going to Rivendale the day after the ball."

Orion didnt like this. Not at all. "So, we dont know that they actually left. They could still be here." he said gravely, "They could be looking for a way into the castle right now." He didnt understand why his Father wasn't doing anything.
