20 years after Harry Potter banished Voldemort from the wizarding world, he comes back with a plan to control Middle Earth. Now it is up to Harry's daughter Joely and a group of our favorite Lord of the Rings characters to stop that from happening.

The day of her graduation from Hogwarts, Joely is sent to Middle Earth, where she befriends King Aragorn and his son, Aerosepth, who is assigned to protect her. But when Aerosepth and Joely fall in love, he is sent away, will they ever see each other again, and will Joely be able to stop Voldemort from taking over the world?

Idril winked. "That's kind-of the point," she said with a sheepish grin. "Besides...he doesn't seem to be letting up at all," she said with a shrug. "I know, I know, give it time," she said, smiling at Aspeth. "I wonder how she's been, the seamstress...we haven't visited in awhile," she said, smiling to herself.

Aragorn was still in his rooms with Gandalf as they discussed plans to strengthen their defenses. Suddenly, the sounds of horns blowing in the distance could be heard through Aragorn's window. "Could it be?" he asked as he quickly strode to the window.

The lady Arwen sat high on her horse as she and her guards rode into the gates of the city, she smiled slightly, taking in the sights of the city she had so missed, and searching for some familiar faces.

Aspeth nodded,"Finally, something that I have said is kicking in." she said with a laugh.

Idril laughed. "You would think after all these years, it would have done so faster!" she joked, laughing. "Hey..." she paused as she also heard the distant sound of horns. "Peth...I think your mom's back!" she said with a smile. Lady Arwen had always been kind to her, and she was like another mother to Idril. "Should we go and greet her?" she asked, looking to her friend.

Aragorn walked quickly out of his rooms and down the steps. It was not right for a king to run, but Aragorn wished that he could. Soon, he had reached the courtyard, and saw Arwen. Smiling brightly, he came to her horse's side. He pulled her from the horse gently and spun in a circle with her, both his cloak and her dress swirling around them. As he put her down, he kissed her. "I missed you," he said with a smile.

Aspeth looked up and listened closely, "I think you are right." she said, a smile growing on her face, "Let's go!" she said taking her friends arm again.

Arwen smiled,"I missed you more." she said laughing lightly, "How are things here? Is everything all right?" she asked.

Idril ran beside Aspeth as they raced down to the courtyard.

Aragorn smiled. "Well, there is plenty news of many types, but I will let you get settled in before we cover any of that...and I believe you have some more welcomers," he said, taking his wife's arm as he saw Aspeth and Idril running up.

Idril slowed and allowed Aspeth to reach Arwen first.

Aspeth smiled as she ran up to her mother. "Mother! I am so glad you are home!" she said happily, giving her a hug.

Arwen smiled as she squeezed her daughter tightly, "I've missed you too darling." she said, she saw Idril out of the corner of her eye and smiled, "You come over here as well little miss." she said, holding out her arm so that Idril could join in the hug.

Idril grinned and ran up to hug Arwen as well. "Well, I thought it would be best to have a mother daughter moment before I intruded!" she said with a laugh. She was glad Arwen was home...she knew Aspeth would feel a little more relaxed now that her mother was home, and Idril loved the Lady's company. "Aspeth...have you told her yet?" she whispered, so that only Aspeth could hear.

Aragorn laughed. "Idril, you are like family, I don't know why you even bother calling us 'highness or majesty' anymore!" he said with a chuckle.

Aspeth smiled, "No, do you think I should tell her now?" she asked.

"Tell me what?" Arwen asked, pulling away from the girls and wrapping her arm around her husband's.

Aragorn grinned. "Well, Aspeth has some wonderful news..." he said, nodding to Aspeth.

Idril grinned. "Go on..." she said quietly, and smiled at her friend encouragingly.

"Well." Aspeth started, glancing at her father and friend, "I am pregnant." she said with a smile.

Arwen gasped and placed her hand over her mouth, "Oh dear, that is wonderful!" she said happily, pulling her daughter into another hug.

Aragorn smiled. "Yes, and there is much more news to update you on...including a masquerade ball in honor of your return, and to expose Orion and Aeroseph to the eligible ladies in the kingdom," he said, winking at Idril and Aspeth.

Idril laughed as Arwen hugged Aspeth at the news. "What a wonderful time," she said, still laughing. She heard Aragorn and grinned. "Really? Aspeth and I were going to ask about what type of ball...oh, I'm so excited!" she said with a grin, winking at Aspeth.

Falsath and Orion had talked to the head of the guard and were now walking back. Suddenly, he looked up as he heard both the sound of horns and hoofbeats. "I think your mother is back!" he said, smiling at Orion.

Orion looked up, a smile tugging at his lips, "Shall we go greet her?" he asked

Aspeth laughed, "Oh I havent been to a masquerade in years!" she said, once again placing her hand on her stomach.

Idril smiled. "Oh, I'm so excited!" she said with a grin. "Are you happy to be back, Lady Arwen?" she asked, turning to the elf.

Falsath smiled. "I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't!" he said with a chuckle. "Does that mean you're feeling better than?" he asked as they walked quickly toward the courtyard.

Orion smirked, "I feel fine when I am not around Idril" he said, walking into the streets where he saw his parents and sister gathered.

Arwen smiled and laughed, "Yes I am." she said, genuinly happy to be back.

"Mom" Orion said with a smile, wrapping his mother in a giant hug.

"How are you my dear?" she asked him, patting his back softly, sensing that there was smomething wrong with him.

Falsath winced slightly. "Well, don't look now..." he said, but hung back as Orion hugged his mother. He smiled at Arwen and hugged her when he got the chance. "Its good to have you home," he said with a smile.

Idril became quiet as Orion and Falsath arrived. "Shall we go see about getting our dresses done?" she asked Aspeth, not wanting to linger around Orion any more than she had to.

Aragorn sighed as he noticed the instant change in Idril. Apparently, nothing had changed between them.

Aspeth wasn't sure that she wanted to leave her mother, but she agreed, seeing that Orion had suddenly appeared, "All right." she said nodding. "Mom, we will see you at dinner all right?" she said.

Orion pulled away from his mother and cast an involuntary glance at Idril, "Everything's all right mom." he lied automactily.

Aspeth walked over to Falsath and gave his hand a squeeze, "Do you want to come with us, or should I place your order myself?" she asked with a laugh.

Falsath smiled down at Aspeth. "I think I'll keep Orion company...see if I can talk some sense into him," he said with a small shrug. "So, you can order...make sure we match!" he said with a laugh. "Are you sure you're feeling okay?" he asked her, noticing her hand on her stomach.

Idril met Orion's eyes steadily, and kept the look until he looked away. She narrowed her eyes slightly then looked away. She was wondering what was going on between the two of them. She pushed the thought away, still upset about his earlier comments. She waited quietly for Aspeth and smiled at the Queen. "We'll see you later," she said, bowing her head slightly.

Aspeth gave Falsath the sternest look she could, which was hardly anything at all and smiled, "I will be fine. Now you boys go and do...... boy stuff." she said with a laugh..

Arwen nodded, "Yea, don't skip out on us at dinner tonight, I don't want to hear anyhting about family, you are family." she said, a stern but soft look in her eye.

Falsath smiled. "We shall!" he said, not understanding Aspeth's stern look.

Idril smiled at Arwen. "Don't you worry, I wouldn't miss it for the world," she said, smiling at Arwen. She resisted looking over at Orion, and then turned to Aspeth. "Shall we go and visit the seamstress?" she asked, looking at her friend.

Aragorn linked arms with Arwen. "Well, there is still much to update you on," he said with a smile. "Half you'll enjoy...the rest you won't," he said with a sigh.

Arwen smiled, "I should like to hear the not so good news first I think." she said to him, kissing his cheek softly.

Idril walked with Aspeth as they headed toward the seamstress. "So, why the hurry?" she asked, raising her eyebrow at Aspeth's behavior. "Normally, I can't separate you and Falsath for two seconds!" she said, smiling.

Aragorn nodded. "Alright, well, Orion, Falsath, and Idril were attacked by three cloaked figures...luckily they are alright. I've sent squads out to investigate and to make sure the area is safe," he told her quietly as they passed a group of nobles.

Aspeth shook her head, "I don't know, he is just really starting to bother me. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love him to death, but he's always been so protective and now with this pregnancy, he has tripled his protective force or something. It is making me feel very insignificant, when it is meant to do the opposite." she said, looking at her friend, "Does that make any sense?" she asked.

Arwen thought for a moment, stopping briefly to nod to the group who had welcomed her home, "What about these men, do we know how they looked, other than they were cloaked?" she asked him softly.

Idril nodded as she listened to her friend. "I was noticing that too...I just didn't want to say anything," she said with a smile. "Although, I think its cute too..." she said, dodging out of Aspeth's striking range. "Well, I'll do my best not to task the fatal question," she said, walking next to Aspeth. "Instead, I'll ask 'HOw's the weather doing?'" she teased, grinning.

Aragorn shook his head. "Only that they were cloaked, and had masks, and seemed not used to how we do things in this area," he said to her quietly. "Now, I don't want you to worry too much about this," he warned her, meeting her eyes.

Aspeth glowered at Idril and raised an eyebrow, "Is that your subtle way of asking me if I am okay?" she asked, "Honestly, it's not as if I have just thrown myself down a staircase!" she said, feeling her cheeks flush.

Arwen smiled wistfully at her husband, "You know me too well." she said wth a laugh, "I worry none the less. Things are not right here Aragorn." she said to him

Idril smiled at her friend. "I was only teasing...believe me, I'll be able to tell if something is wrong...I've known you longer than Falsath, and being girls, we understand each other better," she said, giving her friend a hug. "So, after we talk to the seamstress, what would you like to do?" she asked, smiling lightly.

Aragorn laughed. "Yes, you will," he said, smiling at her. His smiled lessened as he heard the next thing she said. "I know...first this...and now the arguements between Orion and Idril!" he said with a sigh. "But I do have some good news," he said with a smile.
