Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

"Oh I'm wonderful." Trina said trying to put on her happy face. It didn't work. She squeezed a piece of toast before letting the crumbs fall back onto her plate. She pushed her food away."I'm not hungry." Is all she said before she got up from the table and bolted from the Great Hall. She walked out onto the grounds. Sitting under the tree she thought about all the great times she had had with Patrick before he was posioned by Kyla. She thought about the day before when she had been swimming with him and their friends. She smiled a little and tears started to stream down her cheeks."I want him back," She mummbled weakly to no one,"I want him back." She pulled her knees close to her chest and just cried.

It was certainly turning out to be an odd morning.. not that last night wasn't out of the ordinary either. Shaun sipped at his orange juice and glanced around at his friends. After Trina had sprtined out of the Great Hall, he shook his head and stabbed his fork into a pite of his pancakes. "Man, Pat," he said. "You really need to talk to that girl."

Sam whispered to Shaun, "I don't think he'll notice her let alone talk to her. Besides, why would he want to talk to her? All he'll do is gabble on about Kyla! It's what love potions are meant to do, never let you forget who gave it to you. It'll make her feel even worse. I'll go." Sam got up and waled out of the Great Hall. She walked out to the lake and spotted Trina by a near-by tree. She sat next to her and hugged her, saying, "Hey Tri. Do you wanna talk? Can I help with anything? Is there anything I can do? If there is, just tell me!" Sam prodded on, staring at Trina with worry plastered on her face.

Kat watched as Trina sprinted out the Great Hall, she so badly wanted to get up and follow, but she decided against it. Trina probably wanted to work things out on her own about Patrick. She stood up from the Gryffindor Table, brushing some toast crumps that Trina had dropped on her when she squeezed her toast. "Shoot, I forgot to do the Charms homework last night! It's gonna take me forever! I hate charms, it's my worst class. I got a P on my O.W.Ls!" She said groaning.

Keith looked at Kat as she panicked & reached for his bag, pulling out his charms homework. "Here." He handed the stack of papers to her, "Err.. you can copy it but make some changes, we don't want the Professor to know that we copied, now do we?" He said with a chuckle and stood up. "I have Arithmancy now so you can give it back later." Keith said resting his hands on Kat's shoulder and left.

Kat took the stack of papers. "Are you sure?" She asked knowing that if the head boy got caught cheating or letting someone cheat off his work, he'd be stripped of his badge. But before Kat could get her reply Keith walked away to his first class. Kat put the charms homework into her bag and looked at her friends. "Well, I'm off to Herbology, see ya." She said waving good bye and leaving the hall.

"Yeah Sam I'm fine." She said."I just need to get to class." She said before getting up and walking off to her class. Kat and Trina had Herbology together and most of their other classes. Trina dreaded going to her Defense against the Dark Arts class because that was the class she was alone in with Patrick. She walked into the Herbology classroom and took her seat next to Kat.

"You sure? You don't look great. You a little pale." Kat said looking up briefly from her almost complete charms homework.

The professor walked in, clearing her throat to silence the class. "Today we will be depodding Puffapods. Please put on your gloves and begin." She said sitting down at her desk, she began grading tests.

"So can we talk about that thing that I wanted to talk about last night before Keith came down?" Katherine asked putting her and Keith's homework away and putting her dragon skinned gloves on.

"Okay, thanks Tri. See you at lunch!" Sam called to Trina as she ran to Divination. Sam could barely breathe as she climbed up the spiral staircase and was getting dizzier every second. By the time she got to the top, class had already started. She quietly opened the door and dramatically tip-toed to her seat while the professors back was turned. Some students giggled at this, so she quickened her pace. As she sat down and put her books on the ground, Sam took a sigh of relief.

Professor Dietz stopped getting her supplies together and said, "Miss Starck! Next time you are late to my class, you don't have to enter that dramatically. I already knew you were late." With that she turned to the class and said, "Today students, we shall be looking at Tea Leaves. Please switch cups with the person across from you and we shall begin class."Professor Dietz watched as her class did what they were told and she continued giving them instructions.

Sam rolled her eyes. She hated Divination. Thank god this was her last year to have it.

"Wow, Trina must still be upset about the pumpkin juice fight she had" Patrick said as Trina ran out of the great hall. He looked toward Kyla and said to everyone else "I'll see you all later. Which he did mean since he had Arithmancy with Keith" He stood up and walked over to where Kyla sat and took a seat next to her. "Hey" he said with guilty eyes "I would have come over earlier but i didnt see you walk in." he glanced at his watch out of habit "oh my god! is it already that late!?" He jumped up "Sorry but i really need to get to Arithmancy. lets meet up at break, okay?" He hated to rush her but he really need to go. he turned and didnt wait to hear her answer. He half walked half ran toward the large doors leading to the entrance hall and then up the stairs to the second floor where the Arithmancy classroom was.

Shaun scudded into Divination; it was normal for him to be late, and he was expecting another detention, or at least something of the sort. "Sorry I'm late, Professor Dietz," he apologized, though he wore a flashy smile on his face. He grabbed the chair across from Sam and sat down. After pulling her teacup over to his side of the table, he looked at her and lifted his eyebrows. "Mind if we're partners, Sam?"

Kat checked into make sure her gloves were on right before procedding to try and get the pod out of the puffpod. "I....want....to talk....about Keith." She said trying to pull her arm out of the plant. The hold had closed around her hand and wrist, leaving it stuck. Kat pulled and tugged. "I have no clue what to do." She said. She pulled on her hand one more time, her hand came out, but the glove was still stuck.

Trina laughed at her friend."About Keith or about the fact that your hand is stuck in the puffpod?" Trina asked she reached her gloved hand towards the puffpod and pulled the pod and Kat's glove out of it.

Kat snatched the glove from Trina's grasp and stuck her tongue out as she put the glove back onto her bare hand. As they waited for the puffpod to open again for another chance to get it's pod, Kat began talking again. "About Keith. He's dropping all these hints that he might like me, but I can't tell. I mean last night when I went back out to the lake and Keith came to check on me....he tried.......he tried to kiss me." She said smiling a little. She noticed the puffpod open and plunged her hand inside bring it back up quickly before the plant could get a close on her hand again. In her hand was the giant pod.

"Really? If he tried to kiss you then he really is like in love with you. I bet you will have a date to the dance soon." Trina said with a smile. She wished she could say the same about herself but she couldn't. Her smile faded

Kat shook her head placing the pod in the bowl. "That's why I want to talk about it. He didn't really get a chance to kiss me because Blake came running out crying about the fight that had happened." She said placing both hands on the pod of pushing down on it. "And if he wanted to ask me to the dance he would have done it by now!" She said sighing. "This is the moment I've been waiting for since I first layed eyes on him in our third year!" She said trying to squeeze the pod. "Dumb pod!" She yelled giving up and slouching in her seat.

Keith was the first one to enter the class that day and as always Prof. Montgomery was so happy to see him. He greeted the teacher and sat on the front most desk. After a few minutes the students started pouring in and the class was ready to begin.

"Good Morning Class, Today we'll be learning about Energy of Numbers, so get yourself a partner and please, no disturbance and if I found anyone fooling around or chatting, they'll be out!" Montgomery said as he flicked his wand and a summary appeared on the board. "& Mr. Riley, try to be on time. 5 points from Gryffindor." He said with a smile.

Keith glanced at Patrick and gestured him to come sit with him. "Err Nancy, Isla & Matt, I have a partner.... sorry." He said smiling at the group of students who wanted to be his partner but he couldn't ignore Patrick. "Man, you're late! Now lets quickly do the calculations, we really need to rack some points for Gryffindor." He said, scribbling quickly on the parchment as he calculated with his fingers.

Tanner sighed and looked down at his hands. They weren't doing what he wanted them to do. For some reason he kept hitting the wrong keys on the piano, well wrong for this song anyway. The one he was supposed to be playing was happy, bright, uplifting but what was coming out was a bitter sweet melody with haunting tones. Almost as if it was despair. It seemed that that was all he could think about these days. Bitter sweet memories to go with a despairing heart. But none of his friends would ever know about it. He'd continue on as normal with them.

Jada was strolling the corridors on her way to practice those darn high notes one more time. Unlike her friends she had a break right now. She neared the room and heard music, sad music almost. But then it stopped and Jada peered into the room only to notice Tanner. She took a deep breath and entered the room. "Don't stop now Tanner, that was really nice." She said walking over to the piano.

Tanner looked up shocked at the sudden voice intruding on his solitude. "Hey Jada," he said giving her a slight smile. "Do you have a break now?" he asked, sure that she wouldn't ditch class like he was doing. He just hadn't been in the mood to go and so had skipped out. Almost unconsciously his hands began to move over the keys again, touching them lightly and continuing on with what he had been playing before switching effortlessly into one of Beethoven's symphonies.

Jada leaned against the side of the piano and listened as Tanner's fingers glided over the black and white keys making wonderful music. "Yeah I have break first, Charms next." She said sighing. "Just thought I'd come up here and try those high notes." Jada added. She listened to the song that Tanner was playing and recongized it a Beethoven. It was one of her favorite pieces.

She looked through her bag and found her ballet shoes, slipping them on and lacing them up. Jada then moved to the middle of the room and began twirling to the music, it came naturally, she couldn't help it. Music was part of her life, part of her, part of her soul.

Patrick had always liked this class. Not for the subject itself but for Keith, without him Patrick would be lost. it was the one class he knew he would pass with flying colors. "Sorry" he mumbled to his friend sliding into the seat next to Keith and watched a group of sullen looking students walk from Keiths desk. "What are we supposed to be doing again?" Patrick pulled out a quill and some parchment. He dipped his quill in the ink on Keiths desk and held it ready to write when Keith explained what todays lesson was.
