The sequel to Low Profiles

Summary: The remaining deatheaters have fled Sirius's house leaving him dead and the others injured. The group (Lily, Snape, Dobby, Harry, Fred, George, and Ginny) have to leave quickly before aurors come after them and they decide to hide out at Hogwarts since there's nowhere else to go. The other teachers help them, much to the ministry's disapproval. Since Fudge was murdered at the house as well, the place of the minister of magic is in the hands of Percy and he and Umbridge are after whoever killed him. That person happened to have killed him with a certain ex-potions teacher's wand and all conclusions have jumped to him. But at the same time Snape is still coming to grips with his feelings for Lily who loves him and Harry is sickened by what's going on between them. (James is longsince dead, btw.) But he is starting to fall for Ginny as well which he has to struggle keeping that hidden from everybody else.

"Harry, if you want I can come and help." Lily spoke softly and gave him a consoling smile she knew how much he cared for Sirius, he used to believe he was his only family left--but then he was told that Lily & James weren't dead but under cover trying to protect him. She sighed, "And if needed I can relay the incident I think you might have been unconscious for part of the time, until Ginny got to you..." She gave him a soft smile. "Besides, Parker might believe me if I tell him and even show them the ordeal in a pensive but that might be a bit much."

George finally came to a stop and Fred practically ran into him. "Oh come on mum! Only having some fun." George said with a grin.

"Yeah! And we can be civilized... We are on a daily basis!" Fred protested with a small smirk on his face. George stepped foreward a little, only to get shoved again by Fred.

Seveus rolled his eyes at the twins' behavior but didn't offer further comment as the grouped move on with him near the rear. Molly and Arthur can handle them for now, he thought wearily.

"Molly you know it came to my attention that these two were kind of legends here. They were the ones who sent that old cow Umbrige off, really they made her go absolutely nutters. Setting off fireworks, their swamps--and then it was Hermione who led her to the Forbidden Forest and made her fear all things that sound like Horses."

The elf ran to the back to be next to Snape since Ron's dad kept stepping on him.

Lily laughed at Fred and Georges comment and could only shake her head in somewhat disapproval when she heard what Molly had said, she was right in some ways people did have to grow up at a time but that wasn't yet, or was it? She remembered how she had felt before she had married James and really fallen for him way back, that she had hated the way he was always childish and how once he ended up charming the ground beneath her feet to make it so every time she took a set she would step and walk on water lilies. It was a little annoying at the time and now, it was somewhat viewed as cute. "Hey Aurthur," Lily said and gave him a consoling smile he looked rather tired, "Want a little bit of a potion I concocted to make you wake up and stay awake until you can find a safe resting place?" Lily asked conceredly.

He made a weird face and then giggled.

Fred grinned at his dad, resisting the urge to laugh. George, however, couldn't seem to hold it in. "We figured years ago that this is the perfect time to get what you want." Fred said sarcastically.

"Exactly." George managed. "When he gets home late after not having slept in a long while."

Severus kept his pace as they walked, shaking his head at the elder Weasley's sleep comments as he remained behind the rest of the group. As the group had expanded upon reaching Hogwarts, the ex-deatheater found himself surrounded by more and more people he had so distanced himself from.

He hummed vaguely under his breath, struggling to keep up with the others and nearly crashed into the elf again.

He yelped and dodged out of the way, accidently tripping Snape.

The potions master was mildly distracted as the house-elf accidentally tripped him. Thus falling was an absolute possibilty until he managed to steady himself on the wall. Spotting Dobby, his traditional scowl returned more out of habit then any anger towards him.

He gave him an innocent look and pointed to Mr. Weasley who was still mumbling, half asleep.

He somehow found the way to the common room before Snape and stared at the Fat Lady. "Pleh...I have to go in..."

Neville was inside, snoring on a chair in front of the fire.

Harry looked at his mother for a moment before saying anything "Thanks mum but no. I'm fine with telling them both." he said calmly as he thought of where Kyle would be at this hour. "I'll be right back I just need a bit of fresh air." he added a he swiftly walked through the portrait hole and out into the hallway. She was proably outside looking up at the starry night sky. Sure enough he was right, she was sitting on the grass looking up at the night sky. As he stepped closer he said softly "Hey Kyle." as he took a seat next to her.

Kyle turned her head so that she could get a better look at Harry "Oh hello Harry and what brings you out here?" she asked softly with wonder showing in her oceanic blue eyes. As she waited for him to speak she couldn't help but look up at the sky.

How was he suppous to tell her that her father was dead without completely crushing her. "This is really hard for me to say but." he stopped he couldn't finish the sentence. Looking up at the sky with her, he tried to figure out what he could say with having her hate him in the end.

She looked back over at him with confusen written apon her face. Kyle couldn't help but wonder why he couldn't say what he was wanting to say. "Harry, you can tell me anything you want to tell me." she said softly looking into his brilliant green eyes "Honestly." she said in almost a whisper.

Now all he wanted to do was run away, so that he didn't have to hurt her. But he knew he couldn't lie to her and he knew he couldn't leave, the only thing he could do was be honest with her. "Kyle, I know this may hurt you but I would rather tell you then let you find out in a far worst way." he said taking a deep breath as he looked her straight in the eyes. "Kyle, Sirius was killed during a fight in the Black Manor. And I am very sorry about having to tell you this way." he finished quietly still looking her in the eyes.

Tears began to fall as Kyle got up from where she sat "Please tell me you lying please." she cried as she began to shake. This couldn't be happening she hadn't known him long enough to really get to know him a person and as her father. She couldn't help but hate herself for all the father-daughter moment she would never have.

Harry stood up and pulled her gently into a hug, as he slowly rocked side to side. He tried his best to calm her down but he wasn't sure it was working very well. He couldn't help but wish there was a way for him to take away all of her pain and give it to himself, since he felt he desived it for making her feel this way.

Lily nodded at Harry understanding that he wanted to tell them himself--he had always shared a bond with Sirius and she knew that he cared for him alot he had thought that Sirius was going to be his 'Family' when he thought she and James were dead and then he found out not long ago that she and James weren't dead--and in bad timing too not long after he died then Sirius. And all she could think was, in a morbid sense, who was next?

Severus was coming up behind them as the went to enter the portrait hole and watched as Harry left to talk to Kyle. Once he was out of sight, he looked at Lily and sensing her downtrodden thoughts, placed a comforting hand on her shoulder yet remained silent.

Lily looked up at Severus and gave him a quick smile, she knew he had never liked James and Must be hard for them, never knowing their parents. Lily said quickly in thought then gave a sigh and lightened the mood a bit by giving a quick consoling smile, "You know this old school hold so many good memories from back in the day." She said and smiled to herself letting the warmth of the memories penetrate her mind.

Arthur yawned and crawled into the potrait hole, falling alseep in the middle of it.

"Uh...'night..." the elf said to the others, smiling weakly. He hugged Snape and Lily. Thanks for...not killing me after what happened, he legimenced to them and then disapparated.

Lily smiled to herself and thought back to Dobby quickly, Its no problem Dobby we know you've got a good heart. She explained and smiled, she looked back up to Snape and sighed a bit, "So ready to become Professors again?" She asked and gave him a half-smile.

A little taken by surprise by Dobby's hug goodnight, Severus tensed at first then gradually relaxed, placing a hand on the elf's head. You are most welcome, Dobby, he sent before the he disappeared.

At Lily's question, Snape made the slightest of shrugs. "Not entirely sure," he replied truthfully.

"I completely understand. I doubt the schools changed much though, like the common rooms. I'd venture to say the Gryffindor Commons is still overly red and gold and Slytherins probably just as Dark and Mysterious looking as ever." Lily said quietly and looked over at him, it had been a long time since they were both at school together.
