The sequel to Low Profiles

Summary: The remaining deatheaters have fled Sirius's house leaving him dead and the others injured. The group (Lily, Snape, Dobby, Harry, Fred, George, and Ginny) have to leave quickly before aurors come after them and they decide to hide out at Hogwarts since there's nowhere else to go. The other teachers help them, much to the ministry's disapproval. Since Fudge was murdered at the house as well, the place of the minister of magic is in the hands of Percy and he and Umbridge are after whoever killed him. That person happened to have killed him with a certain ex-potions teacher's wand and all conclusions have jumped to him. But at the same time Snape is still coming to grips with his feelings for Lily who loves him and Harry is sickened by what's going on between them. (James is longsince dead, btw.) But he is starting to fall for Ginny as well which he has to struggle keeping that hidden from everybody else.

It was three in the morning and all hell had broke loose at the Black's house earlier in the night. Fudge, Sirius, and number of other deatheaters were dead, their bodies sprawled against the floor. A small group who were hiding out in the house evacuated the area quickly and apparated to Hogwarts. It was the only place they couldn't be traced for questioning. They were standing in front of Dumbledore's office, other teachers were waiting for them.

At the ministry, Umbridge had just arrived and informed Percy and the counsel of everything that just happened.

Hagrid looked at the group that was standing there as he had been the one asked to lead them to the office. "Blimey I never thought I'd see the day that Lily Potter was alive and well! Where's James?" He asked as innocently as possible.

"He died, I was under the cloak and he hid me to protect me, my parents sacrificed themselves for our family and well--we've been fighting death eaters underground for years, he was killed last week." She explained and sighed.

As Fred and George came with all the others they looked around, half expecting it to be different during the summer. "And I never thought I'd see the day when I was at school over our summer break!" Fred said, honestly.

"Well mum always did threaten it..." George said sarcastically. "Hello Hagrid." he said with a grin.

"Thank goodness she never followed through," Snape replied to the twins before turning to the half-giant. "Hagrid, perhaps we should be going," he added approaching behind Lily as she sighed.

"I'm alright Hagrid really, near death experiences just make you value life." Lily explained and left the parts that she knew he would be bewildred by out of it.

"Well You two were threatened by mum but I never was!" Ginny said and laughed. "I mean c'mon you two did leave school early to start a shop! I mean there's still part of your swamp on the fifth floor!" Ginny said and looked over to Hargrid egging him on with her eyes.

"Right then. SilverFin" he said and the staircase revealed itself. He led the group up the stairs and knocked on the door. "Professor, there are er-people to meet you."

Inside the office, Dumbledore sat behind his desk with Fawkes on his perch beside him. He waited patiently over steppled fingers for the group to file in.

"Hello Remus" Lily said and gave him a quick sorry smile, he knew everything that had happened his best friend had been killed infront of him. She made her way into the room.

Ginny followed Lily and stood to her side, nervously. She was anxious as to what would happen what they would have to do. She could simply do a hair-changing spell and be fine she was the right age.

ooc: should moody be at the school/ministry.

Remus nodded sadly at Lily and stood next to Dumbledore. He already missed James tremendously. He wished he hadnt died.

"I'm sorry about both Sirius and James" Lily said and looked over to Remus. She sighed and remembered how Sirius had made it so she wouldn't die by having himself killed!

Winky sighed, "Winky no like hiding. Winky no like murderers. Winky think if the ministry come after us they are stupid."

"Yes. Im sorry they are gone too." Remus said.
"How are you lily? You doing okay?" he asked simpatheticly. She after all had just lost her husband. He had lost his best friend, but she had lost the love of her life. He wanted to make sure she was ok.

Molly walked in next to everybody else. She was a little jumpy. But after all they had been through, how could she not be?

Severus slowly followed the rest of the group into the office. His usual demeanor displayed at Hogwarts had vanished with his double life, yet he was still stiff from his closecall at Grimmaulde after the others had left.

George smiled proudly as he thought of their swamp sitting there like a prized possesion. "But can you honestly blame us? Making a shop and loads of money was so much more worth our time than going to school."

Fred nodded as the two of them followed in after Ginny. He lightly kicked the heal of her shoe as she walked, so as to trip her. "You could have joined us Gin." he whispered in her ear so that their mum wouldn't hear.

After informing the council about what had happened, Umbridge walked to her office. She felt extremly tired after all that had taken place as she sat down on one of her pink chairs behind her desk.

Percy shook his head in shock after Umbridge finished her report about everything that happened. "Unbelievable..." he said, shuffling through some ministry files. "Action has to be taken immediately, we can't afford to have all these nutcases on the loose..." He examined the wand that she said was the one that caused dear Fudge's death. "D'you know who this belonged to?" he asked.

Professor McGonagul was among the professors looking exhausted and concerned. She was also slightly annoyed at the ungodly hour they chose to show up. "Severus..." she said, quietly as she saw him enter.

Dobby was staring at the ground as he followed the others in, timidly. "DUMBLE--" The elf was about to shriek when he saw the headmaster but decided against it. Snape would probably murder him if he did by now.

"Minerva..," Severus replied with a nod, acknowledging his fellow HoH. "Headmaster," he said as he took charge of the weary refugees. "We no doubt apologize for the lateness of this meeting, but I sure you understand the necessity of it as I explained in my missive."

"Of course Severus," Dumbledore replied, his usual tone marred by the gravity of the situation. "Please, do sit down," he added, scanning the group as he conjured up a few extra chairs. As he waited for them to sit he went on. "Now we must discuss any future actions that need to be taken."
