Thank You!
Ladies and gentleman:
Here we start a new stage into the life of someone who was believed dead, finished, out of the Magical World forever: Melinda Anne Black.
So, you most of you would know that she left to go to Marseilles, France to live with her biological grandmother(Mirelda Jacques), for safety and her health matters. That was according to Jade, her foster mom.
Time passed by, she started University to study Gastronomy; she then found a job and had everything she wanted. Except Chris, who she only got to see a few days between school breaks. Even under such circumstances, they kept a relationship going until...
Oh no...Melinda, from a very young age, has had a heart problem which required a transplant soon or she'd die in a couple of years. So, she received an offer in Luxemburg and on the way to the interview, she and her cousin JoAnne, along with her husband, had a terrible car accident. JoAnne and her husband died, but Melly received a terrible hit on her head, leaving her with amnesia.
And with this, Mirelda, her grandmother, takes advantage and tells everyone Melly knew in England that she's dead. The news breaks in the Magical World, first told by Jade to Chris, then going along with newspapers and all media possible. Melinda wakes up three months after the accident, having no memory of her past as a student in Hogwarts nor her life.
Mirelda tells her that she's Loraine Jacques, her grand-daughter, who had just suffered an accident. Also, that she was entitled by JoAnne and her husband to be the foster mother of two gorgeous twins, Caesar and Ulises; oh, and let's not forget, she was also told to be the owner of a restaurant to be open soon in Paris. That life was easly believed by Loraine/Melinda for three long years.
Although, recently Loraine keeps having these dreams, glances of her past. This all becomes inmensely suspicious and confusing, making her do some research about her past getting no results.
But let's not lose hope: Knowing specific locations in London, wondering what they were, she arrives, along with the twins, to live there and start her restaurant, leaving all life in Paris behind her.
And guess what? the restaurant is near the Ministry of Magic...so, it's like she's so stuck to her magic past from then until forever.
This is just the beginning, guys...you know! But think about this...
What will people, the ones Melinda loved and loved her, think as they see her back in London? Would they think of her as a liar? Or what?
What will her reaction be when she finds out the whole truth about her past?
And...what would happen when that truth comes out??
This, and much more will be happening in this RPG. Feel welcome to join and read. And let's have some fun!!!

"Mr. Wright, I suggest you get this young lady's order and then go make it instead of dawdling around," She said as nicely as she could, but it didn't come out too nice. Oh, well, maybe he got the message this time around. The restaraunt was not a dating arena.

Waiter and modeling doesn't sync together - do they? At least being a waiter is cool, better than being stuck in the ministry where you're bored out of your mind. "I've done a few projects but you see, modeling is not a very steady profession. I have to keep my options open." He could count on his fingers they number of projects he did in the past few months. Embarrassing.
When Lindsay approached them, Blake expressed his dislike by making a face, "Here comes the party pooper." He muttered to Reese and spun around, smiling brightly at Boss Lady. "And that's exactly what I'm doing, Ms. Mackay. Isn't it, Reese?" He said in a serious tone without any smiles. He could see how irritated she was right now so without ruining her mood any further, he turned to the customer, "Should I come around later or you're ready to order?" He smiled at both the ladies and whispered to Lindsay, "You look cute when you're angry...that's why I like to tick you off." Holding back a chuckle, Blake nonchalantly tapped his foot and glanced outside the window, squinting his eyes at the red Ferrari.
Reese sighed at the mention of her other friend's name. "Have you talked to Shana lately? I haven't talk to her since...I don't know. A few weeks, I think," she said. These were the times she missed going to Hogwarts and being around all her friends. Though, she was glad that she still kept in contact with most of her school buddies. It wasn't like she let her career get in the way of having a social life and not having world tours paid off. "Famous? I wouldn't say famous. I know a lot of people that are much more famous than I am," she told Blake with a grin. She softly laughed at the mention of Blake criticizing her music just to annoy his sister. Big brothers. What can you do with them? "I see. I see. I'm glad you do enjoy some of my music," she added. "I'm also glad to know your sister is a fan. I hope one day I could meet her."
"A few projects? Really? That's cool," she responded. "I think modeling is a pretty cool thing. I wanted to model when I was in my fifth year, but apparently my friend told me I couldn't model, because I would have to cut back the amount of chocolate frogs I intake everyday. Which, would be impossible for me." The amount of chocolate frogs she ate everyday was really embarrassing, but they were soooo addicting! "But, I see what you mean. Do keep your options open. You never know what could happen," she told him with a grin. "Who knows? You might be a famous waiter one of these days!" Was it even possible to become a famous waiter? She didn't know, but she sure hoped it was possible.
Party pooper? She turned her attention to the woman that walked up to her and Blake. "Yes, I was just asking him what the special was today," she replied. She looked back at the menu, acting like she was trying to decide what to order. When Blake turned back around, she replied, "I'm going to wait until Whitney gets here to order some food, but I would like a cup of coffee." She looked up from her menu and smiled at the boy.

Loraine sensed in less than ten minutes that her kids needed some fresh air before eating their lunch, so she thought about going outside to the playground nearby and let Caesar and Ulises waste that extra energy inside their system caused by the large dosis of chocolate and mermaelade from the pancakes. She went to find their respective coats, and a scarf for each, just in case it was too cold outside.
"Okay, guys. We're going to the park!" She cheerfully said, as she also needed that little break before going back into the kitchen to take her chef shift. Both the kids ran to get their coats put on and were already waiting at the door when Loraine still fixed her scarf around her neck.
"I knew you'd won!" She told them, grinning wide and taking one of the twins hands, while the other held Ulises's. She closed the door of her appartment and the three walked downstairs towards the door. Though...weird feeling it was, as she waved to the costumer Blake was attending and a couple who had just come in. Her heart pounded so hard, as if she was to have a heart attack. Though she had to ignore that, because the twins were dragging her outside of the restaurant.
What was that about? Even outside the restaurant, Loraine still felt as if she knew those three people.

"It is nice." Chris commented looking around. He didn't notice any of the people around him. He was just looking around the place. Until he heard a faint door shut from up stairs. He looked up to find a staircase which looked like it was an apartment. Hmmm it must be the owner living up there. Or not what did he know really?
He didn't pay much attention to who was coming down them until she was closer down. From far away it looked like.....no of course it wasn't. He looked down at the two little boys awwww they were cute. But as the woman walked closer to Lena and him his heart raced.
There eyes had met for that brief second before she was out the door with her kids. Gulp. No no it couldn't be. It just couldn't be. He didn't take his eyes off of her until she was out the door and walking away. She looked so much like Mel it was scary.
Heart still racing in his chest he looked at Lena wide eyed and confused. "D-d-d-did you see that?" Was all he could asked.

Helena smiled as he agreed and was about to suggest that they go find a table, since it seemed like a 'seat yourself or get out' kinda place when someone came down from upstairs. Lena's head turned in complete synchronization with Chris's at the woman. Who looked just like.... Yeah, she breathed at Chris's question before shaking her head. C'mon, let's go sit down, she muttered, grabbing his sleeve lightly and pulling him away from the door.

Once she stopped he looked at her. "That just isn't possible." He said softly not really to her but more out loud.

She seemed satisfied with the customer's response, though there was no doubt she was sticking up for him--must have been his amazing hair--erm, ahem. "All right, if you say so," She said to the girl.
She was about to leave them when she head Blake whispering to her--she opened her eyes wide, though a fanit smile could be seen on her lips. Charming boy--though annoying. She rolled her eyes and walked over to her office again to assemble this week's paychecks.

Age: 26
Date of Birth: October 31st
Occupation: Waitress at Sky Coffee House
Marital Status: Single, widow
Color Code: teal
Appearance
Hair Color: Red, copper almost
Eye Color: Green
Height: 5'7
History
Faith was born in Ireland in a family of seven. The youngest of the five kids Faith never got much attention. She was always the one who was forgotten. She could often be seen outside by herself playing games by herself. When she was old enough, her parents sent her to the states to a boarding school, saying that she was undisciplined. As she grew Faith realized that she loved to act, she put everything into acting and did very well. After graduating (which none of her family bothered to show up) she went on to university in the states at NYU where she majored in the dramatic arts. During her time at University she met the love of her life, Seth Lovells. After graduating Faith moved to Europe to start her life off acting. She found a job at the café and has been there for five years. Not less than a year later, Seth followed and purposed to her in the café.
Just a short month ago Seth died of cancer, Faith took off work for that one month. Her parents and family did come to the wedding and funeral. It took such great lengths for them to finally realize that Faith is so much more than what they thought.
Personality
Faith is usually a loud and crazy girl, she loves to have fun and isn’t shy to say what’s on her mind. But lately she’s hidden away. Has a bit of OCD, has to have everything just right.
Extras
-has a very small tattoo of the drama masks behind her right ear.
-Can't stand anything pink.
Faith pushed the door open to the cafe, it was her first day back on the job after she had taken off for the last month. She put on a large smile, happy to be back, though in the back of her mind she was having an intense arguement with her brain. Leave, go someplace else. Her brain would say, I need to stay, it's the only way to get through this. She would tell her brain.
She walked behind the counter and put on her apron that hadn't moved from the spot she had left it a month ago.

Brrr!!! The weather outside was absolutely out of the question, off the boundaries the children and Loraine had ever had while they lived in Marseilles or Paris. In less than half an hour, they were already heading back to the restaurant, up to their comfy warm home. Of course, the little trip to a corner store was in the plans of the twins to buy sweets, so Loraine had to stop there for more than ten minutes as they chose their favourites and pay for them. Children and candies, deathly attraction they were.
The sound of a bell as Loraine opened the door and still holding the hands of both children with a lollipop in their hands made the announcement she had arrived back into the restaurant, through the front door, since the back one was still on repair. As entering the restaurant, Lor saw one of her waitresses had come back to work. Poor Faith, she needed a chance to live and get her mind off her problems and Lor was willing to give her that breath. "Faith, I'm so glad you're back." She said, as walking towards her, while the kids ran to the children's area where there was a little puppet show theatre. "Take your time. There are so many new things around here and look through the menu, there are also new specials and you can take your break anytime, don't worry." She started to sound so like a boss, but she couldn't lose time.
The couple she had encountered at her exit to the park were still there, and seemed to be discussing, as if they had seen a ghost or something worse, a living dead. The man was the one who looked paler. This worried Loraine a lot so she decided to take a walk towards them. "Are you alright sir? Have you been...?" She was about to ask them if they were being served, but suddenly she felt like there was no air coming to her lungs, her heart beating faster than a bullet, and her head going dazed, until she just fell onto the floor, unconsious. Glimpses of those dreams, with that man came as dreams. Loraine couldn't explain it...there was no logical answer to this reaction.

After deliberating for a moment, Blake added, "Actually no, I haven't. She's still in Hogwarts, I guess." Stupid life, he's not getting the time to visit her during Hogsmeade weekends, though he promised he'd. How bad is that seeing he doesn't have an engaging career.
She's being polite by not blowing her own trumpet but the truth is, she's quite famous and really cute too and we aren't going to tell any of that to her. "You're famous enough. Hmm, where and when is your next performance? I might buy tickets once I get my paycheck." He said, glancing over his shoulder at Lindsay. He's getting his salary, right? He needs to shop for some new clothes and stuff but most importantly, he has to buy a new broom to arrange a trip back home.
While he was still chatting with Reese, an idea struck him. Why not take her autograph? Just to back the fabricated story he might tell Carly. "Do you mind giving me an autograph?" He asked with a grin as he rummaged through his pockets for a piece of paper. Oh drat! There's never a spare paper when you need it most. Frowning, he handed over the order writing notepad and a pen. "............it's for my sister, so maybe you can mention her name somewhere. It's Carly." Meh, brotherly love took over. So much for the false story.
Those projects were useless so much as his mother didn't recognize him. "I did a chocolate commercial a few months back. They promised to show my full length but later, they chopped of my upper half and my hands were the only focused part as I was peeling the wrapper." Blake frowned. One of the reason he doesn't enjoy chocolate anymore. "But you'll make a great model, you're really likable." Yes she is and there's something very cute about her though he can't put a finger on it.
Aww, that's so sweet of her. Poor Lindsay. Thanks for sticking up for me. I should get your coffee and I'll make sure it's extra tasty." He smiled at her and scribbled her order, oblivious to the fact that Lindsay rolled her eyes at him. He turned around to head for the counter, feeling a bit upset now that he recalled that advert.
Ahh looks who's back? Faith! Walking behind the counter, Blake smiled at his fellow waitress and gave her a one arm hug. "It's good to see you again, Faith. Here's the very first order, one cup of coffee." He tore the page and handed it to her. Poor girl, she went through a lot. Hope things are better for her. The least they can do is try to not over burden her.
He smiled when Ms. Loraine came back from the park with the twins. Though he doesn't like kids much, Caesar & Ulises are adorable and he can't help but pinch their cheeks. Waving at the two who headed straight for the kids section, Blake was about to greet the owner when something very strange occurred. A second ago, Loraine was chatting with two customers whose faces he couldn't see and in the blink of an eye, she was on the ground. His first instinct was to go and help her up but instead of that, he rushed into the kitchen to get some water. This was the first time Loraine fainted. She's probably ill. Shrugging, he came back and handed Lindsay the glass of water. "What should we do? I'm scared to do anything." He muttered, his blue eyes wide open.

"It's probably just a freak thing that's not a big deal." He said with a shrug. But hadn't Melinda wanted to be a chef and alllll that fun stuff???
Helena nodded as Chris sat down next to her before hesitating and finally choosing to pat his hand gently to console him. Yeah, I wouldn't give it too much thought other than being a coincidence, she said wtih what supposed to be more of a smile and turned out to be more of a grimace as she withdrew her hand from his. Lingering too long could be detrimental.

Lena looked up to see the woman, probably the owner, coming over to her and Chris. Lena glanced over at the latter before looking back up at the lady with as much of a smile as she could manage as she started to speak. But before she could finish, the woman had collapsed.
Helena jumped to her feet in an instant, but then she froze. She didn't know what to do. And this was just soooo weird! Chris felt Lena pat his hand. He bit his lip slightly. Grahhh! He had missed her touch sooo much. That soft touch of one of her hands still sent a shiver up his spine. Though as she stopped Chris was both happy and sad. Sighhhhh.
But then eeep! That woman was coming back over to them. Asking if he was alright? Geeez Chris must look pretty bad. "Ummm ye-" He was kind of cut of by the fact that she had just fainted! Ohhh no! He looked over at Lena who was up on her feet. Chris did the same though he had quickly gotten to the other side of the table and was down on his knees like that!
He looked at her and felt his throat tighten. She looked way to much like Melinda for his liking. But he heard Helena say someones name. "Blake?" He looked around quickly and sure enough he found the little pretty boy. He fought back from rolling his eyes at Helena. Come on people there was a lady on the floor unconsious!
Chris hadn't delt with a person fainting sense that last summer Mel was at his house. Errrr what to do! He didn't want to pick her up or anything so he proped her head and shoulders into his arms. With that he took her wrist and placed two fingers there taking her pulse. Her heart beating maybe faster than normal. What does he do now!???
Yay, Hamlet! • Cathopper • Disney Fanatic • I was normal once...

Reese had forgotten that Shana was still in Hogwarts until Blake brought it up. "I think you're right," she said. "I think this is the year she's graduating." The little Slytherin was 3 years younger than herself, which made Shana 18. Which meant she would be graduating this term along with her cousin Keith and her brother Jake. It did seem just like yesterday when she was a 5th year and everyone else was a 2nd year. Time sure does fly by!
She opened her mouth to say something, but then quickly closed it. There was NO use in arguing how famous she was. She still thought that she wasn't that famous. Lima was more famous that she was! Lima would probably be more famous than she will ever be. Her friend was the one that did the world tours and everything; Reese was the woman that just had her concerts in town, because she didn't want to leave Jack in London while she went touring. She would take Jack with her if he wasn't off playing Quidditch. "I think my next concert is in a few weeks. It's going to be in town," she responded. "I don't do world tours or anything like that. But, how about I give you and your sister tickets? It's on me. That's if you don't mind having seats next to Jack Fritzera and Torin Kane."
She smiled when Blake asked for an autograph for his sister. "Sure, I don't mind," she replied. When the boy handed over the ordering notepad and pen, she took them and placed the notepad on the table in front of her. Hmmm. What to write? "Carly? That's a pretty name," she said as she began to write her little note:
Quote:
Dear Carly,
Your brother is just too sweet. You better give him tons and tons of hugs for getting concert tickets.
Lots of love,
Reese Upstead
"You can drop by my apartment sometime to get the tickets," she added as she began to hand back the notepad until she remember something. "Oh, wait. I'll give you the address to my house." Quickly, she jotted down the address to her apartment. Yes, Reese Upstead lived in an apartment. She had lived in big houses most of her life, so now she just wanted a nice little place to live. Nothing too flashy.
A chocolate commercial...a chocolate commercial... Yeah, she wasn't the one that usually watched commercials. She was the girl that just flipped to the next channel when one came one. "That's cool," she commented. "At least you got to experience modeling." She blushed a little when Blake called her 'likable'. It's a habit to blush when someone complemented her. "Thanks for the complement," she told him.
She shrugged her shoulders. "You're a friend. I stick up for my friends," she said with a grin. "Plus, I don't want you to loose your job just for chatting with me." She would feel awful if he did!
When Blake left to get her cup of coffee, Reese turned around in her seat to notice a girl that had fainted and a guy that looked vaguely familiar. Maybe another person from her school days? But, that girl. That girl looked REALLY familiar. She was thinking about getting up and helping, but the guy looked like he had everything under control. Instead, she just stayed in her seat, continuing to look at the girl.
Something about that girl made Reese shake her head. That girl looked like someone that she knew had passed away in her 6th Year. So, it couldn't be. It just couldn't be.

Faith smiled, "I'm glad to be back." Faith told her, it was mostly true, she had missed everyone and the business. "Whoa, a puppet show?" Faith asked. "Hmm....forget the food, I know what I'm doing on my break." Faith laughed cracking a joke.
She picked up a dish rag and moved to a dirty table someone had just left, it was like she hadn't been gone at all.

But here she was at last.
Breathless, she walked in the restaurant and started looking for a familiar face. Reese maybe?

Color Code: teal
Appearance
Hair Color: Red, copper almost

Something about that girl made Reese shake her head. That girl looked like someone that she knew had passed away in her 6th Year. So, it couldn't be. It just couldn't be.
Lindsay walking back to her office when she saw Loraine walk into the restaraunt. Deciding on the spot that she needed to have a chat with her, Lindsay turned around. But it seemed that Loraine had...seen a ghost or something for she fell to the ground near a table with 2 customers. Lindsay walked over, her heart beating fast. She couldn't be...dead? No.
As the crowd immerged--Blake, the two customers, and the lovely lady whom Blake was flirting with--and Lindsay got confused. And of course, Faith had decided that this was the perfect time to come back to work--LOVELY. In all the commotion, people seemed to be...finding one another? The two customers, who looked like a couple, had apparently recognized Blake. Lindsay rolled her eyes and took the glass of water that Blake handed over to her.
She walked over to the man who was checking Loraine's pulse. "Is she okay?" She asked him, and then looked for an empty booth. Noticing one, she looked back over at the man. "Let's bring her over here so she can sit down," She said, nodding over at the empty seat.
Chris had taken his fingers away from the womans wrist. Errr why was nobody else doing anything? He had no idea who this woman really was and he was sitting there with her in his arms. While everybody just stood around. He wanted to yell out to have somebody help him. But he couldn't take his eyes off of her....
Finally someone did come over to him. "Ummm I think so. Her pulse is high though. It's faster than it probably should be." He said finally breaking his gaze from the woman in his arms to the one standing above him. He looked over at the booth she pointed out and nodded.
Chris picked up the woman gently into his arms. He walked her over to the booth and placed her there carefully. "Has this happened before?" He asked turning back to the woman. Chris was so curious because this is something Melinda use to do a lot from time to time.....
Dreams, as if they were memories appeared into Loraine's head. Those revealed her and that man together, though younger; and for this, she couldn't find a reasonable explanation. Nothing seemed to fit into the puzzle just presented right in front of her eyes. Although, things started to catch up, she had no idea about her past years, except the things she'd been told by her grandmother, or Daniel. She needed to talk to both, she needed them to confirm either she was going insane or all this was just another piece of her life, those years she still misses.
She felt when the someone carried her, and stared to hear voices around her. Finally, Loraine was waking up. Blurry images around her, of Blake, Lindsay, the couple and the rest of the costumers came by. She sighed, and reached her head with her hand. She moaned, she was having a serious headache. "What happened?" She asked with a soft whisper, though not mentioning what had just been dreamt. She could be seen as a total freak.

Brief History: Daniel knows the both sides of history of Melinda or Loraine, as he is now forced to call her, although he wishes more to tell her about her past but he fears she'd go away and leave him forever. He loves Melinda and the twins more than his own life, and for that he must hold his tongue for now, so he can fix things in order to make Mirelda look more guilty than he is.
Although for the little lies he's told Mel, he still gives Mirelda short updates on her grand-daughter's whereabouts, so Mirelda would not do anything against him.
Personality: He's loveable, cautious and has quite a mind of his own. He'll do anything to make his future family happy. He is charming and cunning ,also quite protective of Mel. He will do anything for her and to keep her. His is a great guy at heart ,but fears that she would not love him if she knew the truth and that her grandmother would part them or cause harm in another way. He is very torn between his emotions , but hides it very well.
Daniel was whistling while walking to the restaurant where Loraine worked. He had decided to stop by to see Loraine , as he had planned to take her to a nice dinner after work and wanted to tell her so. He was going to take her to her favorite place and he had even bougth her a beautiful new dress. He sauntered in smiling , but his smile broke to a look of concern as he saw Loraine sitting in a booth. She looked disoriented and in pain , with people around staring at her. He immediately rushed over and placed a hand on her head. He checked for a fever and then his hand moved to her wrist and checked her pulse. "Darling are you alright? What happened my love?" he asked very concerned and held her hand. Looking at the yound man helping keep Loraine steady he said,"Thank you" and moved beside Loraine. He looked to the young man and the woman closest to her and asked politely and with concern,"Does anyone know what happened?"
Realising that he did not state his relation to her or nature to be concerned he cleared his throat."Sorry about that. I'm Daniel, Loraine's fiance."

Lindsay followed as the man brought Loraine to the empty booth and placed her in the empty seat. A faster pulse? That wasn't good. As for his question, Loraine shrugged. "I don't really know, it hasn't happened in front of me before," She replied. Ahh and then Loraine's charming fiance decided that this was the perfect moment to show up--how lovely. Eyeroll.
As he sautered over, Lindsay moved aside and noticed Loraine stirring. She handed the glass of water to her. "Here, drink this," She said. She then turned to the fiance. "She fainted," Lindsay said simply.
Chris watched as the woman started to wake up. He didn't answer her finding it best not to. Maybe someone who knew her better than him should...But at that moment another guy walked in. Chris turned his head as he came over to her quickly.
Darling, love??? Chris's throat became tight once more. Errrr why was that happening? Because somewhere deep down inside of himself he had hope that this woman this complete stranger could be his Melinda. Some of the pieces seem to fit except for the biggest one that she was dead....
He let go of her as the other guy moved to her side. "It's no big deal." He said softly as he backed away slightly. He watched the two and might have felt his heart break. Grrrrr! Dumbie this girl can't be Melly....she just can't!

Helena turned back to Chris and the woman he was moving to an empty booth when a man came through and announced himself as this man's fiance. At these words, Lena's eyes moved to Chris once more and she thought she saw a spasm of pain shoot across his features. But... this woman couldn't be Mel, right? Though, as she spoke, she sounded very much like her and looked almost identical... gah! Lena moved over to stand beside Chris and muttered in a low voice, Are you okay?

After cleaning the tables she took a seat behind the counter and began to roll silverware.
