Thank You! Ladies and gentleman:
Here we start a new stage into the life of someone who was believed dead, finished, out of the Magical World forever: Melinda Anne Black.
So, you most of you would know that she left to go to Marseilles, France to live with her biological grandmother(Mirelda Jacques), for safety and her health matters. That was according to Jade, her foster mom.
Time passed by, she started University to study Gastronomy; she then found a job and had everything she wanted. Except Chris, who she only got to see a few days between school breaks. Even under such circumstances, they kept a relationship going until...
Oh no...Melinda, from a very young age, has had a heart problem which required a transplant soon or she'd die in a couple of years. So, she received an offer in Luxemburg and on the way to the interview, she and her cousin JoAnne, along with her husband, had a terrible car accident. JoAnne and her husband died, but Melly received a terrible hit on her head, leaving her with amnesia.
And with this, Mirelda, her grandmother, takes advantage and tells everyone Melly knew in England that she's dead. The news breaks in the Magical World, first told by Jade to Chris, then going along with newspapers and all media possible. Melinda wakes up three months after the accident, having no memory of her past as a student in Hogwarts nor her life.
Mirelda tells her that she's Loraine Jacques, her grand-daughter, who had just suffered an accident. Also, that she was entitled by JoAnne and her husband to be the foster mother of two gorgeous twins, Caesar and Ulises; oh, and let's not forget, she was also told to be the owner of a restaurant to be open soon in Paris. That life was easly believed by Loraine/Melinda for three long years.
Although, recently Loraine keeps having these dreams, glances of her past. This all becomes inmensely suspicious and confusing, making her do some research about her past getting no results.
But let's not lose hope: Knowing specific locations in London, wondering what they were, she arrives, along with the twins, to live there and start her restaurant, leaving all life in Paris behind her.
And guess what? the restaurant is near the Ministry of Magic...so, it's like she's so stuck to her magic past from then until forever.
This is just the beginning, guys...you know! But think about this...
What will people, the ones Melinda loved and loved her, think as they see her back in London? Would they think of her as a liar? Or what?
What will her reaction be when she finds out the whole truth about her past?
And...what would happen when that truth comes out??
This, and much more will be happening in this RPG. Feel welcome to join and read. And let's have some fun!!! Character List. Melinda Anne Black/Loraine Jacques - Yaya Christopher Scott Kaplan - stan lanevski Helena Crawley - Dee-Dee

| {Mr. Musical} Annew <3 //Pokes!!! "I'm glad you do. It's not that I didn't want to..." Chris told Helena honestly. He did feel bad. But he just didn't want to make her feel weird or anything. After all they had dated for over a year...It was amazing that they could remain friends...."Ohhh I guess I should be scared of you now that you have power." He said laughing. "Well that's good to hear." He then he saw a group a teen girls come in....Ohhh crap. He quickly put his sunglasses back on and put his hood up on his hoodie hoping they didn't see him. A group of girls meant run for Chris. "Yeah I see that." He said stealing glances back to the girls. "Lunch sounds great. I will just come back then okay?" He asked not really waiting for answer. "I really should get going. I will see you later then." Chris said with one more quick smile before bolting out the door and back into his car. He didn't like people flipping out about seeing him. And it was starting to happen more and more lately....

Helena grinned and winked at him. You most certainly should, she agreed with a light-sort-of-evil chuckle. Then, realizing what she was doing, she quickly recomposed herself. She couldn't help the wide smile to return, though, as he pulled up his hoodie hood. Sounds good - see you later, she said before he basically bolted for the door. Shaking her head slightly, Lena quickly put her things away in the back room and then came back out to help the customers.

Surely, Loraine thought, Rhiannon would find a great combination for the restaurant, make it more comfortable for all ages. And for some reason, Loraine also wanted to meet the person, her character. When she heard her name, maybe a week from then Loraine had a goosebump that warned that there was something, something she didn't know, but had to do with Rhiannon. Odd it was for her.
A few mutterings were heard from the kitchen. Surely Lindsay, the restaurant manager had arrived and was checking-on-the-walk work, as well as making her authoritive attitude around the kitchen. Lor giggled, as she also heard Blake, one of the waiters and probably one of the reasons many teenagers, mostly girls came to the restaurant, just to look at the cute him and drank a cup of tea or a moka frappé. Most of the shift-cards had been checked in, so Loraine feeling relieved turned the music stereo on, tuning Don't Stop Believin' by a TV show cast, called Glee from about 60 years ago. Old music, yes...but it was always a hit.
Finally, Ms. Todd answered the phone, and Loraine's smile widened, letting out a small sigh of relief that she was at home, though the very early hours of day. "Good day, Ms. Tood. This is Loraine Jacques speaking." Her weird Spanish-French-Brittish accent combined all together at that time, making it difficult for her to think clearly on what to say, yet she needed to speak up. "I am wondering if you could come around my restaurant for a meeting. See, I just opened my place a month ago and I need some more colours added to the place, attractive look to the place and such. A few contacts of mine have recommended you very well, and I decided to call you for those reasons." Odd way to say it, but it was true. Okay, time to shut her mouth, the artist was going to speak up. What would she say? After picking her wand up from the table near the phone, Rhiannon had used it to summon a biscuit from the kitchen to quiet Sparky down for good, while she waited for whoever was on the other end of the line to return her greeting. Shifting the phone back into one hand from its position cradled between her shoulder and her ear as someone spoke, she leaned against the edge of the table. "Good day, Ms. Jacques," she said as she settled into her business persona. "I'd be happy to come in for a consultation. Where would your restaurant happen to be?" As she continued to listen, half-keeping her attention on the dog to make sure he wasn't off getting into trouble, a flicker of something crossed her face at the woman on the other end's voice. Like she remembered it from somewhere, but only faintly. From years ago, before everything had happened.
Blinking as she stood up again, pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind, she smiled. She knew Ms. Jacques couldn't see her currently, but things like that could come through in her voice. "Anyway, if I have a location, and a time when you would like me to meet you, I can guarantee I will try to be there." She might have to let her current project wait again, but business was business. Even if it was accompanied by the weirdest feelings. "I wouldn't want to tarnish whatever image of myself your contacts have given you. And we can discuss any details after we meet." Professional. Stay professional., she reminded herself.

Stay professional., she reminded herself. Loraine kept her attention both on her business phone call and the mutterings outside her office and then again, had to put the music back to low volume, after a weird thud was heard from the kitchen. Probably it'd been a pan and cabinets, she thought as remembering there was shopping still left to do, like places where to put all those pans that they didn't use much, except for catering services.
"Yes, the address is 57 Camden Road, here in London." She told Rhiannon the addressed as she checked her agenda to see if there was any other meeting she had to go any of the following days. All she could see was the interview for the kids' school, that she had to be there at sharp 3pm to review every rule stated by that school. Even though it wasn't so expensive, she wanted Caesar and Ulises to have the best education.
"I'm here everyday, from 8am to 3pm, then back at 5pm to take my shift as the head chef..." Probably not the best way to say much about her work, but it happened. "...I think we can meet at four, maybe..." She hoped Rhiannon would accept and had the time to come to the restaurant, "...and the dinner is in the house pay." Lovely offer. Lor had nothing to lose, she knew Rhiannon was the indicated for the job to make the restaurant to look the best.

Lor had nothing to lose, she knew Rhiannon was the indicated for the job to make the restaurant to look the best. Fishing in the drawer of the table that the phone was resting on for some paper and a pen, or anything she could make notes on, Rhiannon nodded as Ms. Jacques gave her the address. Finally locating soemthing to write on, she scribbled the address down. "57 Camden Road, London," she repeated as she wrote, simply to make sure she had gotten it right. It wouldn't work very well to go to the wrong place. And maybe that weird sensation she'd gotten would go away after they'd met in person. Voices could always sound much different over the phone.
"Four pm today?," she asked then, noting that information below the address before idly doodling on the parchment around her notes. "I should be able to work that into my schedule." If she'd actually had one for the day, other than continuing to hole herself up in her studio. This would give her a reason to get out, probably easing the minds of her entire family, who still bothered her occasionally about getting out more. "Would you like me to bring my portfolio or anything. So you could get a sense of some of my work?" Dinner was a good incentive to go, although she didn't need it. She would have to let Faylinn know she might not be home for dinner, though.

Anyways, it didn't matter to her. He was just her servant.
As she checked on the thermostat, she heard a clatter behind her as Blakes tried to fix things. She groaned loudly as he apologized and turned back to the thermostat. Loraine would need to know about his clumsiness. As she noted that the thermostat was at the correct temperature, Lindsay turned around and galnced over at the cabinet. It looked pretty clean, but as he turned to his locker, she went to go check it anyway. She bent down and opened it, the copper pots and pans shining in her face. Well, at least he knows how to clean.
Dusting off her pants, Lindsay stood up again, not noticing Blake stuffing a lime-green something into his pocket. She walked up to him, looked him up and down, and then took a breath. "Make sure the tables upfront are clean. And get some more napkins from the back room--we're running out," She said in her authoritative voice and then with a flip of her long black hair, she left to change the sign on the front door from closed to open. Blake scrunched up his face when Lindsay groaned. His clumsiness was getting out of hand but thank heavens Ms. Loraine was a sweet, patient woman or else he'd be fired by now. Strolling around the kitchen, Blake shook his head on hearing Lindsay's orders and rolled his eyes, "You made me clean the tables thrice last night." He complained after cleaning a small dirt particle stuck on the stove. "Napkins? Alright and I'll check the tables on my way out." Grabbing a swab, he headed towards the seating area only to storm back inside in a jiffy. "A celebrity is out there!" He beamed and adjusted his already perfect hair. She was the same woman he found outside the restaurant a couple of minutes back. Blake's blue eyes twinkled with excitement as he gussied up and made his way out of the kitchen with a notepad and pen. Quote:

She stopped by the door as she listened to the guy babble on and on. “I don’t care if you got my microphone and everything set up,” she told him. “You should have listened to me yesterday when I told you I wasn’t coming in. Now, go put all my music gadgets up and I’ll see you…” She rolled her eyes. “I run this part of the studio, Rob. You listen to me, okay? Now, go put all my music equipment up and I’ll see you tomorrow. Oh, and tell your wife I said hello. Buh-bye,” she sighed and closed her phone even though Robert was still talking.
She placed her phone back inside her bag, and then she took the sunglasses off her face. Tapping her foot against the ground, she looked around the oh-so-casual restaurant before making her way over to one of the booths. Slipping back into the seating area, he strode over to the woman's booth and smiled, "Hello Ma'am. Welcome to Sky Coffee House. Are you ready to order?" Blake greeted her in a polite tone and waited for her reply as he stood there with his head in the clouds. Eeek! His first celebrity order which might earn him some screen time orrr a magazine cover!

She would have to let Faylinn know she might not be home for dinner, though. As Lor gave Rhiannon the address, she heard drawers opening and maybe a juggle on the way through writing. She kind of did the same when reaching out for a pen, that was nowhere nearby her reach, but only to find it on the desk aside her computer. She was being so unorganized the past month. Ugh. After taking the pen into her hands, she noted into her agenda the meeting with Rhiannon, although it was that same afternoon.
"Alright. I'll be so happy if you would come today," Really, that week for Loraine and the whole restaurant itself was coming into a whole catastrophe of good work, catering services and many other miscellaneous visitors that were to come. Like her grandmother.
When she mentioned the portafolio, Lor's eyes glittered. Wow, this girl already had work done, perfect! Of course, she was a professional. "Sure, I'll be so glad to see your work, Ms. Todd..." She assured then took a small glance outwards, at the booth area. Whee, finally costumers had come in. "Then, I'll see you today, at four pm to see your work and talk business...have a good day, Ms. Todd." And with a smile, after she'd say her farewell, she hung up the phone and stood up. Time for real work; but first, time to go give her children the hourly check.
The staircase towards her little appartment was sort of in the way around the seating area of the restaurant, so all her costumers knew she lived in that little appartment upstairs. A few other costumers had joined for breakfast, though the one in particular she payed attention to as she walked out of her office with cellphone in hand and a cooking recipe book was the girl who Blake was attending. For some reason, another set of goosebumps like the ones from Ms. Todd's call were happening again, but she tried to focus back into the staircase, humming a little tune that got stuck into her head: Walking on Sunshine.
"Kids...where are you?" Her call to her beautiful children sounded through the little space, and two running and hyper kids came out of their room to tackle her. "Oh, here you are. How are you behaving, eh?" She asked both, as kissing their cheeks and giving them a hug. She could never live without them.

"Blake Wright," she said with a little grin. "It was Tammy's graduation party." Her and Tammy were still great friends, no doubt about that. They still went shopping together! That reminded her that she needed to call Tams when she got home, because she needed to set up another shopping trip with her.
"You're a waiter now," she stated, but it sounded more like a question. "I would of thought you would have went into something more like...modeling." She wasn't going to lie that Blake wasn't cute.

Helena had found what the girls were looking for rather quickly, but the next two hours of work went by painfully slow as she waited for her lunch break. She really wanted to catch up with Chris. Finally it was noon and she headed into the back room once more to get her purse. Lena nodded once with a small smile to one of her faithful employees Richard and headed out into the sunlit street to wait for Chris.

Grabbing a swab, he headed towards the seating area only to storm back inside in a jiffy. "A celebrity is out there!" He beamed and adjusted his already perfect hair. She was the same woman he found outside the restaurant a couple of minutes back. Blake's blue eyes twinkled with excitement as he gussied up and made his way out of the kitchen with a notepad and pen. Lindsay rolled her eyes as he shouted after her--the cute kid was always complaining. Quote:

He shut his mouth and glanced around uncomfortably. C'mon Blake, just be honest. "We were in the same school and house." He blurted out and couldn't stop from blushing. "Oh..we once met briefly at..someone's graduation party." He couldn't remember the girl's name. Bad memory. Quote:

That reminded her that she needed to call Tams when she got home, because she needed to set up another shopping trip with her.
"You're a waiter now," she stated, but it sounded more like a question. "I would of thought you would have went into something more like...modeling." She wasn't going to lie that Blake wasn't cute. As Lindsay came out of her office, she noticed Blake chatting--what? Chatting with the customers??? Lindsay narrowed her eyes as usual and walked over to the lovelyl lady and Blake, who seemed comfortably at ease. She placed her hands on her hips and stared at him. "Comfy, are we?" She said in her crisp voice. Glancing at the young lady who was seated, Lindsay smiled for merely a second. "Mr. Wright, I suggest you get this young lady's order and then go make it instead of dawdling around," She said as nicely as she could, but it didn't come out too nice. Oh, well, maybe he got the message this time around. The restaraunt was not a dating arena.

Well he kind of lost track of time and such. But as he pulled back up to the store he saw her waiting outside for him. Good he was not going to go back in there. It was a place that was fulllll of girls and that scared him a lot! Though he smiled as he parked the car right infront of Helena. He gave her a small wave waiting for her to get into the car.

Lena couldn't help but let a large smile grace her lips as Chris pulled up in.... awww the Ferrari!!! She let her smile become a grin and hopped into the passenger side of the car. Afternoon, Kaplan. To where do we venture for lunch? she asked with a smile as she buckled her seatbelt and glanced over at him.

| {Mr. Musical} Annew <3 //Pokes!!! Chris let his smile remained wide as Helena got into the passenger side of the car. Awww she hadn't been in this car in awhile...."Afternoon Crawley.Well it was suppose to be a secret cause I like scaring you. Buuuut I guess you can know. It's this little coffee shop place my dad told me about. He's never been in but it opened like a month ago right near the ministry. Sooo I figured why not." He told Lena with a small shrug.

Helena rolled her eyes, the grin still on her face as she did so and she chuckled. Sounds good - I trust your dad's judgment one hundred percent, she said with a wink as she settled back into her seat. Speaking of which, how have your parents been lately? she asked, looking over at him as they began the short drive.

| {Mr. Musical} Annew <3 //Pokes!!! Chris pulled out from where he was parked heading towards the small-ish coffee shop. "Well I'm sooo glad you do." He said smiling slightly. "My parents? They are doing good. Actually I would think the house must be pretty quiet now that Nick is in Hogwarts." Hehe! Yep it was Nicky's first term there and the little guy couldn't have been more excited...

Greeeeat - Lena had completely forgotten about that. Ohh, yeah! I'm sure he's having a blast - did he end up in Gryffindor as well? she asked with a small smile at the thought of Nick; she didn't know him well, but she did remember how attached he'd been to Mel. Awww, poor little guy.

| {Mr. Musical} Annew <3 //Pokes!!! "From his letters he sure sounds like it. Yeahhhh he's in Gryffindor and I don't think he could be happier." Chris said laughing slightly. It was probably the best that Nick was now in Hogwarts. What had happened with Melinda had totally freaked the kid out. But being at Hogwarts Nick just seems better.

| ♫ ♥ Where are my garters?! / hyphens-are-cool / THE NORTH GATE ♥ ♫ Awww, well, that's good. As long as he's happy, Helena said, looking out the window and trying not to get into the whole 'depressed now that we're broken up and I don't know anything anymore' mood. It was hard, though. Being with Chris again just.... Lena shook that thought from her mind. She had to remind herself that there was a reason they broke up.

| {Mr. Musical} Annew <3 //Pokes!!! Chris nodded. "Yeah it's great that he's happy being there and all." He said with a small smile. He took a quick glance over at Lena who was looking out the window. Was it the best idea to come and see her? Was it making things awkward for her? Chris hadn't thought about it to much. But now that's what was filling his mind. He saw the place were they were going to have lunch. He parked the car and shut of the engine. Once again he looked at Lena. "This isn't to awkward for you is it? Because really if it is we don't have to...." He just trailed off at the end. Chris still didn't like the fact they had broken up, but they were and he had to deal with it....

Rhiannon nodded again, to herself, as Ms. Jacques verified their appointment was for that afternoon. Underlining the time in her notes, she thought about what might be considered appropriate for a possible commission meeting, considering she hadn't left her house for one in a while again. And she had never figured she needed to dress nicely for people when they came to her home studio, even though she wouldn't let people see her in her pajamas.
As the voice on the other end of the line spoke again, Rhiannon had to stop herself from laughing as it broke through her thoughts. That wouldn't seem appropriate, given the situation. But at least the odd feelings weren't quite as strong anymore. "Alright. I will see you at your shop at 4 pm today, with my portfolio. And we can discuss what your ideas might be, and how I can help you," she said politely, another smile on her face. maybe having an official project would help her with her other ideas as well. "Have a nice day as well, and I will see you later." And then the line disconected, and she hung the phone up. Looking over at Sparky, who was lying near the doorway to the kitchen chewing on his dog biscuit, she grinned. Business meetings had never really intrigued her as much as this one seemed to have done, and now she had things to do to get ready to head into London. Not the least of which was organizing the photos that were part of her portfolio. (Since it didn't quite work to carry canvases around all the time.)

He was aware of hers too but didn't feel like mentioning considering he didn't want her to recognize him in the first place. "Indeed. Tammy..oh yes, she was Shana's really great friend." He wasn't able stay at the party of long but he did enjoy hiding behind the sofa. Surprises are always fun. Coming to think of that, he should call Shana. They need to catch up a lot. "And of course, you're Reese Upstead - the famous singer. My sister's a fan though I have to apologize as being the annoying older brother, I criticize your music quite a lot." He said with a soft smile. Hope she won't mind, it's all in good fun. "But I do find myself bopping my head to a nice amount of your numbers. The trashing is just to annoy my sister. Really." He chuckled at the thought of Carly flipping out on hearing about him meeting Reese.
Waiter and modeling doesn't sync together - do they? At least being a waiter is cool, better than being stuck in the ministry where you're bored out of your mind. "I've done a few projects but you see, modeling is not a very steady profession. I have to keep my options open." He could count on his fingers they number of projects he did in the past few months. Embarrassing.
When Lindsay approached them, Blake expressed his dislike by making a face, "Here comes the party pooper." He muttered to Reese and spun around, smiling brightly at Boss Lady. "And that's exactly what I'm doing, Ms. Mackay. Isn't it, Reese?" He said in a serious tone without any smiles. He could see how irritated she was right now so without ruining her mood any further, he turned to the customer, "Should I come around later or you're ready to order?" He smiled at both the ladies and whispered to Lindsay, "You look cute when you're angry...that's why I like to tick you off." Holding back a chuckle, Blake nonchalantly tapped his foot and glanced outside the window, squinting his eyes at the red Ferrari.

| {Mr. Musical} Annew <3 //Pokes!!! Chris nodded. "Yes it does take some getting use to." He told Lena. Sighhhhh. Hopfully it wouldn't take to long. Chris the unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car putting the keys into his pocket. He walked around and opened Lena's door just being nice and all. Once she was out he shut the door and walked into the coffee shop Helena right beside him.
