OOC: Gah! Sorry I haven't posted. Been busy! Also.. after this post, do you want to just start posting in Hogsmeade, then?

Dmitri glanced around, realizing that the only people left in the Great Hall were a couple of snogging couples. It was awkward, to say the least. "So," he said, turning back to Deedee as he stood up. "To the common room, then?"

Okay, good. She wasn't going completely insane after all. Fire? Yes, I zink you're right. Fire.... she repeated vaguely. Ze cheekin and ze egg? I see what you meen.... hmmm.... well, I zink zat neezer really came before ze ozzer, actually. Eet can't really be a treek question. There couldn't really be an answer like 'neither', could there?

"Aha.." Hanz said lost in thought about how in the world could Durmstrang look like. He smiled at Dunya as she sat next to him and turned to face her. Suddenly he remembered that Deedee wasn't here and looked around to see if she came from dinner or not, it seemed not so he turned his attention back to Dunya who was still looking around at the common room. "So is our common room any good?" He asked her.

"Yea, let's go to the common room." Deedee smiled and stood up, she started walking outside the Great Hall with him thinking about the ball and when will the Hogsmeade visit will probably be. She looked around before she left the Great Hall for Hanz, but didn't find him. Ofcourse, she thought, Hanz would already be in bed .

OOC: Yeah, or shall we RP in the common rooms first?

Arkady really wanted to pray to God to understand Leslee's thick French accent. He again understood part of it, though luckily, she seemed to have no uncomfort with understanding him. "Let'sh try..." he said and turned to the eagle. "Um... neither came before the other..?" He couldn't help but make that question tone at the end. Really discouragingly, the eagle shook its head. Arkady was getting angry. He muttered some insult to the eagle in Russian and again started thinking. "Then they both came at the same time! Ah, I'm repeattink the same." He thought for a while. "Then... It doesn't have a start." He tried again, he was getting ridiculous, he sensed it.
"Oh yes, the common room is great." Dunya answered. "Warm, friendly..." She realised she should be writing all of these to her family, besides being a friend with a German. Sigh, when would they understand they couldn't stay this racist? Her face got harder when she thought this, so she quickly thought about some happy things, like how lessons would be here. "How do you do the lessons? I mean, do ou use wands or just read?" She hoped they'd use wands. Reading was bleh.

OOC: Why is everyone in couples? I mean shouldn't we be talking with others, like, Avdotya had talked only to Sanchiy and Hansi. And btw, where are the others?

Leslee couldn't help but mentally chuckle as Arkady got frustrated. It wasn't that she was glad he was, but he just looked so cute when he was upset. Heh heh. It doesn't have a start. Eets ze zircle of life! Zircles 'ave no start. I zink zat's it. That only made sense right?

OOC: Okay, then they can all come together in the common room.. unless there are people who aren't in Gryffindor?

"All right. Well.. you lead the way, please," Dmitri said as the two exited the Great Hall. "I'm still not very familiar with this school." It was true. He had already managed to get lost several times. Not that he minded too much, though. Getting lost typically meant discovering entirely different areas that he wasn't even aware existed at the castle.

Circles have no start? Arkady really got confused with this. He'd just said that because that was the only answer left, and in his opinion, everything had a start. He "started" to shake his head when the eagle finally accepted their answer and opened the entrance. He turned to Leslee, a big smile on his face. "Wohuv, you did itt!" he said and did a reflex of hugging, but then changed his mind. It'd probably be mean and unpleasant. He hoped she hadn't seen his suddenly open arms and blush. He quickly walked into the room to cover that stupidity, and decided not to talk until she said something. But he'd eventually have to talk, right? So maybe if he changed the subject... Yes, that looked nice. "Circle of life? How couchu come up wif that idea? I'd never find even if I thought like... forty yearsh!" he admitted which was true... Now he understood that probably only the circle of life didn't have a start.

OOC: Arkady and Leslee are in Ravenclaw CR but never mind I wonder where the other RPer are...

"Oh, we use wands most of the time." Hanz answered her, he felt sleepy slumped like he was in the chair. He yawned widely, "Feel sleepy?" He asked her, although he wasn't intending to go to his dorm not yet anyway.

Deedee grinned at him and took his hand in hers as she led the way towards the Gryffindor common room. In the way her thoughts were lost in the coming ball and how she felt about Dmitri. She was shocked to find that they reached the Gryffindor common room in such a short notice, or so she felt.
She smiled at Dmitri, hoping that her silence didn't annoy him she wasn't usually silent but there weren't much things on her mind usually either. After saying the password and entering through the portrait hole she saw Hanz sitting on a chair neat the fire with a girl. Wait? with a girl?!, and she seemed to be the same girl from earlier at dinner. That distracted her completely, she hardly ever saw Hanz sitting with his friends let alone a girl he just met. "Hey there." She said walking over to them and sitting on an opposite sofa, she looked back at Dmitri to see if he was coming or not.

Leslee smiled, only noticing that he was going to hug her right before he changed his mind. Her smile remained, though she looked away with a slight blush. My grandparents uzed to breeng me English movies back from America - one of zem wuz ze lion king and one of ze zongs wuz about ze zircle of life. She smiled slightly as they walked in and she took a seat in an armchair by the fire.

Ah, they used wands. Nice. But one more thing that made Dunya wonder... "How do you do Dark Arts?" She had heard they were learning just defence. Odd, if they learnt only defence, then how would they know about actual spell?

"Oh, yeees!" she said and yawned a bit either, though it was a phychologic as she had just seen Hanz yawning.
When Leslee didn't do any kind of staring angrily or anything at his hug reflex, Arkady really relieved and enthusiastically continued to the topic. "Lion king?.. Aaah, know that, though I really don't know the songs." She had a pretty nice memory, that showed. He had watched that cartoon too, but it was in Russian. Hmm, maybe they had changed a bit... Who knew?

Really? Leslee asked Arkady with a smile, wondering if it was too soon to start liking him. I deedn't know zey made... erm... tranzlashins. She giggled slightly before regaining her composure. She didn't want to him to think she was just a dumb, pretty girl. She most certainly wasn't.

"Well, actually, I was really shocked that they did..." Arkady started. Of course, that was the only probably American cartoon at those times Arkady had watched. His country was still some kind of against the USA, though he didn't go on with explaining. Leslee seemed clever, he thought she would listen to the news and hear about cold war either. Instead, he asked another question that was bugging him. "Do you know any other language?" He was so tired of speaking English!

Leslee smiled again in the slight and looked back at the fire, not wanting things to get awkward. At his question, though, she turned around with a slightly amused look on her face. Ozzur zan French or Eenglish you meen? 'ardly. I know a zmall beet of Latin, but nuzzing major. She did like Latin quite a bit, but when she had had to switch to Hogwarts, she hadn't found a new teacher for the summer holidays.

"We just study Defense Against The Dark Arts." Hanz answered her, wondering how they did the dark arts in Durmstrang and decided to ask her. "How about you in Durmstrang?"
"Hey Dee." Hanz smiled at his sister as she came and sat in an opposite chair he noticed the question in her eyes and smiled tentatively deciding it wasn't the best time to answer and looked around to see who she came in with, he saw Dmitri a little distance away and waved at him.
It suddenly occurred to him that he hadn't introduced Dunya to Deedee. I'm not good at this, he thought again. "Deedee this is Dunya." He said looking at his sister, he didn't notice that he used Dunya's nickname instead of her real name though. "Dunya, this is my sister Deedee." He finished smiling lamely.

"Hello Dunya." Deedee grined at the girl and offered her hand, she noticed that the girl was pretty and that she looked nothing like that old git, Liz. She even looked better in many ways, and a better girl too. Wait! Why am I thinking about the girl that way? She asked herself, maybe there's nothing between them.

Latin? Why would a person bother to learn it? It was being used in no where, and Arkady could never see any sense in learning a dead language. "Why dichou learn a dead language? I believe Latin is used only in Vatican City." he couldn't help but ask, then he continued proudly. "I know a bit of Turkish, which is a hard language, and a bit Spanish." Yup, he was clever and he knew it. Learning Turkish wasn't a job for faint brains.
"You just do Defence? Why?" Dunya asked with a very confused face. These English men was really odd. She answered his question with arrogance. Seriously, Durmstrang knew better on this subject. "We do Dark Arts." she stressed 'Dark Arts' to mean that they did just it. She opened her mouth to continue with explaination, but she'd expect anyone to understand the need of learning it, so she closed it. If he was curious, she'd explain it further.

Dunya's hazel eyes flicked to Deedee. He had used his nickname. She was a bit uncomfortable with that, she'd want people to know her real name either. When the girl, Deedee offered her hand, she took the chance to say her real name either. "Hi..." she started as she held her hand. How to continue without any offence or awkwardness? "Dunya's just my nickname, real is Avdotya. Though you can use it either." she said a little awkwardly. "Nice to meet you, Deedee." she went on, the foreign name odd on her lips. She didn't miss her look but she couldn't name what kind of look it was. It seemed cute but still... Whatever, if it was an evil look, Deedee'd speak it.

Leslee tilted her eyes sideways slightly as she tried to make sense of what he was saying. She understood 'Vatican City' and 'language' again, but not a whole lot less. Ded? The only thing that sounded like was.... You mean like 'died'? Oh, I don't know, it was very eenteresting to me. I like to learn odd theengs. She smiled slightly and relaxed back into her chair.

She liked to learn 'old things'? Oh c'mon world was changing and she couldn't stay attached to the old. Though Arkady said none of these. He merely smiled at her, and when the seat next to Leslee got finally free, he sat there, fully realising how his knees were aching. He closed his eyes and tried to forget the pain.

Are you okay? Leslee asked hesitantly, starting to realize that she was caring an awful lot for just meeting this boy; that was new. Her blue eyes scanned him while his eyes remained closed, feeling much better than if he could see her looking at him.

Arkady opened his eyes at Leslee's question. He frowned at her worried expression, this was odd. A non-relative girl worrying for him was odd indeed, but he liked the feeling. "Yesh, I'm fine, fanks. Just my knees arre aching wif all firrst-day pressurre." He was sleepy as well, but it'd be too impolite to leave a pretty girl here and go sleep. Therefore with sleep, he was unable to come up with some interesting topics. He was too afraid that he'd lose her attention that he opened his mouth to say something, anything. When nothing came out, he shut up with shame. 'Applause for Arkady, he managed to embarrass himself again.'

Leslee smiled slightly when he reopened his eyes and answered. At this answer, she nodded a bit and sat back in her chair. I'm sorry you're not feeling great, she said finally before noticing how stupid the words sounded coming out of her mouth. So stupid she didnakt even realize he was grasping at conversation straws.

She was sorry for him? For him? There was something wrong here, even a female dog was never ever attached to Arkady, and a girl, a pretty girl was caring him! Better to smoothe her, right? "It's not importahnt, really." Now Arkady boy, with she hadn't realised your idiocy, go and ask for permission to sleep. "I justt... wanna go to bed." 'You rude thing! She is a French and French people want politeness. Now, she'd realise this and ta-daa. The end of the story.'

Leslee was brought up a bit short by this. She chuckled, hoping he wouldn't think it was rude.Sorry, she said with a smile. I didn't mean to keep you up - it's really no problem; I should probably be off to bed, too. She chuckled slightly again.

'Don't you worry hunny, I meant myself to stay awake.' Arkady thought to himself. Leslee was too polite, and this definately made him uneasy, like he'd say something wrong. "I sa' some girls disappearr from thatt wall." He gestured to the right of the room. "Ant I believe my way ish there." He showed the left side. He knew he should say good night, but he wasn't sure if he should kiss her on the cheek or anything... Men should do the first move thing totally sucked. He was never sure what a girl would want. He again left the choice to Leslee. "So ahm... good night..?" He hoped both the tone of a question and standing there half-expectantly would do the effect.

Leslee nodded in understanding of his words as she too stood up. I zink you are right, she said with another smile. Ah, yes... Goodnight... Wait - his tone was off, and Leslee thought she knew why. She smiled again and kissed him lightly on both cheeks, knowing that it was his uncertainty and also the usual thing to do. Goodnight, she said with yet another smile.

Arkady's expression was blank for a moment, precisely the moment when Leslee kissed him. Yes, you heard it right. Leslee had kissed him. He was surely the luckiest man of the whole universe.

He stood there, shocked and stupified. All his brain functions had stopped, but he could feel the heat to his face, as well as the fast heart beats. When the heat reached, when he blushed to his last cell of his face, then his face took some expression--expression of happiness and a small hint of embarassment, which only experienced eyes would see. Not his first, but one of the best girlfriend-to-be kiss was just given. He was so happy.

Finally, his brain started to work. Slowly, but it was working enough for him to say "Goo--dneight." Even under such pressure, it was doing its job good. He even managed to smile inspite of the heat on her cheeks. Before he would do something idiotic, he turned and headed to the boy's dormitory, his ears working at full capacity for the possibility of hearing Leslee's voice again.
