Whoo hoo! All right, here we go! Launchin' my first official RPG on snitchseeker. Cheers, anyone? ... Or not.

So, I'm not a huge fan of incredibly drawn-out plots, so I'm keeping this one pretty brief.

Durmstrang and Beauxbatons have both been temporarily closed because both schools have decided to undergo additional construction in order to allow more students to attend. The construction is taking quite long, however; muggles have been becoming increasingly suspicious about the goings-on in their areas. Therefore, the construction process is taking much longer in order to create the semblance that there is nothing magical at all going on. As a result of all this nonsense, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students must attend Hogwarts this year. The school will be filled with new students, and drama is sure to ensue. Friendships will emerge, romances will blossom, and enemies will surface! (Insert intimidating music here). So, that's it! Let's see where this goes!

Also, a few quick things:
-Follow Snitchseeker rules
-Be committed!
-Only made-up characters, please!
-No organized relationships! It's more fun to actually not know who your character is destined to fall madly in love with.

If you're curious, I'm thinking most students should be 5th - 7th years

Name: Leslee Hartwood

School: Beauxbatons
Year: 6th
House: Ravenclaw (when at Hogwarts)
Personality: Leslee is pretty flirty. It's a huge part of her personality, and a lot of guys like that, but she hasn't found a person who she can really like seriously or that really like her as a person and not because she's pretty.

Leslee was sitting at the edge of the lake, happy it was still rather warm in this part of the world. She laid back on the grass and watched the clouds move through the blue sky above her, giving off the air that she didn't watch them must. There was a small smile on her thin lips as she placed her hands behind her head.

Delana was walking the grounds of Hogwarts which was a totally new feeling for her. She felt more at ease here like she could go withe flow instad of everything being prim and proper. As Delana took a walk around the lake she saw two people with the Gryffindor crest on their robes and thought, why don't I introduce my self to some new people and walked over to them and said, "Hi, I'm Delana, one of the many who came here because of the flooding at Beaxvaton, but truth be told I think I'm really gonna like it here, and you guys are?".

OOC: Yes, that would be marvelous, Tristin. =)) Either character sounds like it'd add some good ol' drama. Also, do you guys think there should be some sort of event coming up? Like, to further acquaint the students from the different schools?

"Ah, there she is," Blair commented as Floresca suddenly appeared. "Draw anything new lately, Floresca?" The group walked a little further and Blair did a double-take before seeing a boy hiding in the shrubbery. Or at least it looked like he was hiding. Not sure whether he wanted to be alone or not, she granted the student a friendly smile and turned back to see a girl from Beauxbatons now introducing herself. "Pleasure to meet you, Delana," Blair said, now smiling at the girl. "I'm Blair Brooks.. Gryffindor, as you may have noticed. And yeah, I don't see how anyone can not like Hogwarts. I'll be so sad to leave it.." Her voice trailed off with a tone of gloom towards the end, but she brightened up as she found another of her friends now marching out onto the grounds. "Oi! Hansi!" She called out with hands cupped around her mouth.

At the sound of a female voice near him, Dmitri turned to see girl now sitting not far from him. He was used to people attempting to try to start up a conversation with him, and although it usually went nowhere, the girl's kind expression was too inviting to ignore. "Hello," he greeted, setting his novel neatly on the grass beside him. His eyes traveled down to the Gryffindor crest on her robes, then returned to her bright eyes. "I'm Dmitri."

Oh, soo this famous Hogwarts was here. Pretty--no more than Durmstrang of course. Dunya really liked here, much warmer than Russia's cold wheather. She still missed her school though, but that was probably because she didn't have any friends yet. She wandered around the castle, her cat walking by. She saw a couple of people talking but she didn't want to interrupt, nor did she want some attention. She just found a tree and sat.

Arkady got out of the castle into the warm garden. Wow. This place was hot even in september. He'd already known here was no Durmstrang, but the warmth still amazed him. He had never been to abroad, so he wanted to see every place outside. And Scotland was pretty nice so far... Just a bit far away from his mother, who needed his help. But he'd promised to write as much as possible, and he was intended to do it now. He saw Dunya sitting by a tree, but she looked like she wanted to be alone so he just smiled at her and found another tree. He took out some parchment and started to describe the castle and warmth.

OOC: Yes, an event'd be nice. Like triwizard maybe?

Her infectious smile got to him, and the corners of his mouth pulled up into a serene smile to mirror hers. "Pleasure to meet you," he told her genuinely. "Yes, that's right. I suppose I look like a Durmstrang student?" He rested one hand on ground and unconsciously began sifting the grass through his fingers. "And you're in Hogwarts. Gryffindor.." He thought silently for a brief moment as he let the last word slowly roll off his tongue. "So, you're brave, then? And daring, and... I can't recall the other traits associated with your house."

One of the girls had spotted him and dashed a smile his way. Alex scowled at her back. He hadn't seen her in his classes, so she had to be a seventh-year. And a people-magnet, apparently: Beauxbatons and Hogwarts students were clustered around her, their expressions relaxed and friendly... No use hiding anymore, he decided, and stalked out of the shrubs, heading towards the castle. Svidrigaylova and some of the Durmstrang seventh-years had found comfortable spots outside; they seemed to be enjoying themselves. Alex hunched his shoulders and lowered his head, hoping that no one would spot him pass.

No such luck. He saw out of the corner of his eye Svidrigaylova get up and approach him. "Mind if I join you?" she asked. Alex glanced at her and shrugged. He might as well endure her company before he had to put up with the Slytherins' endless questions of his heritage.

Seriously, an "OK" would be better. Dunya had hardly heard this boy's voice. What was wrong with him? She wasn't going to bite him or anything. Deciding to keep the friendly tone, Dunya asked "Where are ya going?" 'Now, let's hear your voice...' she thought evilly. But she knew she shouldn't press on much, she actually saw herself rather lucky for being accepted as a company to Alex Sarchiy.

Okay, Dunya's anger was beginning to prick. But again, for the last time she swallowed hard and hardly keeping the friendly tone, she asked "Yeah, I can see that. In castle where are you going?" She was still being friendly, but she couldn't keep the little sarcastic tone away. She was still wondering why Sarchiy was being this hard when she heard him ask something to her. Yes, probably she had heard wrong, she was imagining voices. But it was so real... Alex Sanchiy had asked something. It was pretty hard to believe. "It's alright," Alex grunted. What was he supposed to say? That Slytherins here were every bit as prejudiced as back at Durmstrang and were going to mock him, once they found out his mother was a Squib? That he was relieved to be thousands of miles away from his despotic father? Not bloody likely. More to avert his thoughts from those topics, rather than being interested in it, he said, "The Quidditch practice times must be tight, what with three schools here?"

Quidditch? Dunya never got the feeling that Sanchiy liked Quidditch. Apparently she was wrong... "Yeah..." she said, rather surprised. Actually, she hadn't thought this before... Smart guy. Alex gave a half-snort, half-grunt. "No." Honestly, what did people see in a bunch of players zooming around on brooms? Sometimes he thought that spectators only used it as an opportunity to huddle together and scream themselves hoarse. They were drawing nearer to the castle and Alex cast around for something to say to ward her off. "Well, I'd better be going then," he said, his tone making it clear that he wanted to be left alone. There weren't many people like Svidrigaylova who were nice and friendly to him, even when he snapped and grunted in response. But it didn't really matter if he annoyed her. Alex knew that the way things worked didn't change along with the scenery.

'If he didn't like Quidditch, why did he think how they'll arrange it in the first place?' This boy was full of surprises. Dunya couldn't understand him a bit but she wished she could. "I'll try out for it." she said, still trying to open a topic to talk.

But apparently, she was trying in vain. Alex said in a very clear tone that he wanted to be alone, and she didn't push harder, although she'd like to. "Okay then... See you around." she murmured and stood by the door to decide what to do next.

Leslee sat up and looked across the lake, wondering why she was never outside this much at home. It did bother her that she wasn't at home, but she was fairly sick of the guys at Beauxbatons for the most part, so she had hope to find a love interest here at Hogwarts. Of course, the Durmstrang boys seemed fairly interesting as well.

Personality:
Mr. Ackart is the coolest teacher you'll ever meet. Simple, caring and friendly, he is clearly the students favorite. He is teaching Potions for an year as the original Potions teacher is on a leave. He treats his students like his buddies & loves to hang out with them whenever he is free. Plus, he doesn't mind students chatting or joking in his class until they also pay attention when he is teaching. Most of the male students often tease him by calling him "Prof. Heart" as he had captured quite a few female hearts.

Background:
Not much is known about Ashton's background except that he was a former students of Hogwarts & was offered the post when he was a fresh Hogwarts graduate but only joined two years back.

Ashton flexed his toned arms as he strolled around Hogwarts just to make sure that the new students were blending in well with the rest of the school. He was fairly proud of his students as they were trying their best to provide a nice & friendly setting to the Beauxbaton's & Durmstrang's. Nodding and smiling politely at familiar faces, Ashton made his way to the grounds.

"Ahh! So refreshing!" He muttered, breathing the fresh air with a smile as a dimple emerged on his right cheek. "Good Morning, Blair, Sierra, Floresca, Hansi & Adrianna." Ashton said smiling at his favorite students. "Made new friends?" He added. He was very frank with this group so Ashton didn't like to call them by their surnames & prefer to address them by their first names.

Cassady walked out onto the grounds and found a quiet tree facing the lake. She sat her things down and pulled her latest book, How to get better at Postions, out of her bag. She didn't open it for a minute. She looked around at all of the other students out here. She recognized a few faces from her old school of Beauxbatons, but the rest were all strangers to her. She never much cared for strangers. Her best friend in the whole world had gotten sent to a school in the USA by her parents so Cassady was all alone here at Hogwarts. She felt alone and out of place. Hogwarts was certanly as beautiful as Beauxbatons. She had a feeling, though, that she would make a few new friends from Durmstrang and Hogwarts. She was just a little afraid right now.

Jacob walked out onto the grounds of Hogwarts. He was glad that he wasn't one of the kids from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. I bet they feel pretty out of place here, he thought. He found a tree near the lake and took out his book, How to get better at Charms, and opened to where he had left off. Jacob had never been one for striking up a conversation. He liked solitude, it gave him time to think and get better at magic.

OOC: I don't think a Triwizard tournament, only because that would require only three students to participate. Hm. I know it's cliche, but maybe a ball? But dates wouldn't be a requirement.

Blair zoned out of her current conversation with her friends as a very tall, extremely good-looking professor came strolling out onto the grounds as well. Blair Brooks was never one to be crazy for guys; in fact, usually it was the opposite. But, for some reason, she couldn't help but be oddly interested in her Potions class this year. "Good morning, Professor Ackart," she greeted, her voice like honey. The first-name basis he went by only made her even more determined to win over her very own professor. "In the process," she smiled. "We've just met Delana, one of the girls from Beauxbatons." She nodded her head and motioned over to Delana, a serene smile still present on her lips.

Leslee sat up and decided to levitate some stones at her feet for something to do. For her first day at her new school, it was turning out to be pretty boring and there were next to no guys around. If they were, they had people to talk to. She inwardly groaned as she looked out over the lake and her stone fell.

"Maybe you do, I just guessed right!" She said smiling as she turned her whole body to face him around the tree, she laughed as he counted of Gryffindor house traits, "And don't forget our Chivalry." She added. "Which house were you sorted in?" She asked him.

"Ah, yes. Chivalry. How could I forget?" Dmitri pulled his knees up and rested his elbows on them. When it came to her question about the house he was sorted into, he gave a small shrug. "Gryffindor, apparently," he responded. "That is what that hat said, at least." His forehead creased slightly as he recalled the strange, beaten hat that sorted students into houses.
