Leslee shook her head. No. Eet would appear more, erm - eet would bee better eef zey 'ad geeven us all a map. 'ow are we supposed to know all of zees? She shook her head slightly and poured herself a glass of water for something to do. |
Dmitri never really counted much on luck - he wasn't even sure if he believed in it; yet, his meeting Deedee seemed too perfect to deem coincidental. It seemed as though they just.. fit. Different in so many ways, and similar - as he had been finding out - in many others. For once, he tried not to decipher the perplexity behind it; it felt too good to question. "I'm sure you're better than you give yourself credit for." His dark eyes peered at her from underneath dark eyelashes. Dmitri had always been private about things, his artwork being no exception. It was rare that he would even let his parents see his work; and that's why he thought it odd that his next words bubbled to his mouth with not a second's hesitation. "Yes, you may." He smiled at her, unable to keep such a simple gesture from draping across his face. |

Leslee giggled slightly and accepted his hand. More zan ready, she replied before standing up. She was glad she had found somebody who knew how to be a gentleman. More often than not she was surrounded by those who were rude or impolite. |

"Oh that's so sweet of you!" Deedee said beaming at his face, and she was shocked at how she felt towards him. If she wasn't mistaken she actually liked him, liked him more than she was supposed to like a guy she just met. Yet she was Deedee, and she didn't mind in the slightest, haven't she always been the adventrous type but Dmitri wasn't another adventure, Dmitri was sent for her yes that's it she thought and smiled at the thought. "What are you thinking about?" She asked him curiously. |

"I am thinking that I'm very happy that I asked you to the dance." Dmitri smiled before adding, " ..and that you said 'yes.'" He waited for a few moments, then met her eyes again. "Well, there was one more thing that I was thinking.." The thought of whether or not he should say it crossed his mind, but the brilliant azure of her eyes seemed to bore into him, and he knew that he couldn't keep it from her for long. |

"I'm glad you did too!" She said smiling sweetly, as a matter of fact she was more than happy a feeling she coldn't explain. She was gazing at him intently, waiting for him to continue, when he didn't she said, "Which is .. ". A small smile drew at the corner of her mouth as she waited for his answer. |
"Which is..." Dmitri began, but then thought twice. "A surprise," he finished. Even he hardly believed the words emanating from his mouth; never was he one for surprises, giving or receiving them, but his mind was set on the matter. "But, anyway. I was thinking about the robes for this dance," he said, broaching a separate topic. "Is there a place I may go to purchase new dress robes?" |
"Surprise ?" Deedee asked her brows furrowing, her head bent to one side. "I love surprises!" She then added smiling enthusiastically. "Oh yeah, there has to be a Hogsmeade visit before the ball so we could all buy dress robes." She answered him, but then she remembered that he might not even know what Hogsmeade was in the first place. "Hogsmeade is the village here near the school, we sometimes go on weekends there when we're allowed. There are all the kinds of shops you could dream of there." She explained, "When we go there I'll take you to the Shrieking Shack which is said to be the most haunted place in Britain." She added smiling, she guessed that Dmitri would have fun visiting those places and even if he didn't she'll make sure he did. |

OOC: Do you guys want to skip to Hogsmeade soon, or keep RPing where we are now? "I trust there's a Hogsmeade trip scheduled soon, yes?" Dmitri had a habit of completing things right away, without drawing them out; and the task of finding adequate dress robes was no different. He smiled at the sound of this Shrieking Shack place. "In all of Britain? That's impressive." Though he was most eager about having Deedee as company. "Just as long as we don't get murdered. It'd be a shame to die right before such an anticipated event." The corners of his mouth drew up slightly, a sure sign that his last remark wasn't completely serious. |
Sorry I'm way too late... Name: Alexander von Kristoff Year: 6th year School: Durmstrang Institute of Magic Personality: Alex is the silent type person. He doesn't indulge into a conversation when he is not addressed to. But he is a very bright young wizard from a family of Aurors. Once you know him, he is the best of friends that you will get. Alexander walks from the second floor towards the Great Hall. He was about to enter the Hall when he decided to ditch a meal and wander around the castle and look for something interesting to do. He was bored to death for he is missing his school. |
Arkady thought for a while. Wait--what were their colors? Black and yellow? No, the animal was a raven which flew in the sky... so that'd make blue and brown, wouldn't it? "I fink their colors arr blue and brown, yesh? So, we should be looking forr blue and brown uniforms." he informed when he saw one. He almost dragged Leslee to that kid's way. When they finally reached to the entrance, the kid was long gone and they were facing the statue of eagle. "Got anni idea how to get in?" he asked to Leslee. |
Okay, she said before he dragged her towards one such person. After following him in dizzying circles up a staircase, he was nowhere to be found. Leslee leaned forward and looked at the eagle knocker. At his question she shrugged slightly. Eef we knock, would zey let us een? |

"That's exactly what I'm here for." Hanz said smiling, he walked over to his favorite chair by the fire and beckoned her to follow him. He noticed something on the notice board but was too lazy to go check it. He waited for Dunya to come then asked her, "How does Durmstrang look like?" Deedee laughed at his comment, just then she realised that they were the only ones left in the Great Hall except for scattered couples. It was kind of uncomfortable for them sitting in the midst of kissing students but she didn't care much. "I guess there should be, we have to check the notice board for that." and then she added, "Let's go to the common room then." although she made no effort to stand up. ooc: so sorry for being late, trouble with the stupid internet. So yeah I guess we go back to the common rooms and then just jump to the Hogsmeade visit. :) |
OOC: Durmstrang is an all boys school... How come there is a girl there? Alex ran down towards the hut and then up again to get his appetite back. He did that for five rounds and then when he was all hungry, he wipes off his sweat and rest for a while in the courtyard and then entered the hall. He was first amazed when he saw this Great Hall. And also this castle. It is bigger than that of their own. He then sat at the Gryffindor table and prepared a meal for himself. |

OOC: The eagle at Raven's entrance asks a riddle, yes? I couldn't come up with any :/ OOC 2: Before Dunya answers to Hanz, is it so? I've just checked Wikipedia and no such thing is mentioned... |
Leslee nearly leaped in shock as the door actually talked to him. She looked at Arkady with questioning eyes. 'Weech came first - ze pheenix or ze flame?' What is zat all about? She frowned slightly. Was this how to get into all the common rooms? ooc: its a question, yes, and durmstrang was only all-boys in the movie. |
What? What? Arkady couldn't really understand Leslee's sentence too. 'Fiiniiks o' zeh fleim?' He just looked at her face without understanding. Then the eagle talked. "You may answer the question, or simply wait here for another student to hear the answer." it said and winked. "What--do theesh guys really enter wif a question?" His look turned an amazement then and said "Could we please hav the question again?" The eagle said it, but Arkady's frown got deeper. He blushed and asked to Leslee with a embarrassed expression. "What ish a, er, fiimiiks?" Man, he had to learn animals--fast! OOC: OK, I'm continuing with Dunya as a Durmstrang and also continue with its location in Russia far north near to Scandinavia 'cos, sorry to let you guys down but it is said so only in movies. And I believe books are more important here. From HP Wikipedia: "The above may be a clue to Durmstrang's location. The flag of Albania (which is near Bulgaria) also depicts a double headed eagle (but Albania's weather doesn't match the Durmstrang uniform since the country is located next to Greece), as do the flag of Imperial Russia and the Coats of arms of the Habsburg Monarchy. Furthermore, Durmstrang's coat of arms also features Cyrillic characters, indicating that the school is located in a Slavic country. In the movie, Professor Dumbledore states that Hogwarts is to be joined by their "friends from the North", which puts Bulgaria into dispute somewhat. This might imply Russia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark." Also in the movie, it appears that Durmstrang is an all-boy school, although this is not so in the book. |
Leslee frowned slightly. She could only think of one thing that sounded like that in English and that was... Ze bird? I believe zer ees a bird called a fenix, no? But as for ze flame. I 'ave no idea what in ze world zat ees. |
Hanz looked around at Dunya, she was still looking around at the Gryffindor common room. "Come on here, Dunya." He called at her. ooc: Deniz, I guess it was an all boys school in the movies only, so yeah continue with Dunya as a Durmstrang student :). Oh and sorry for the lame post, I didn't what to say , and I can't write ooc comments without a post! |
