"At the beginning of 2101, students from magical schools around the world were given the opportunity to partake in a pen pal program. Participants were given code names as a fun option to keep identities secret - because sometimes it's easier to tell a stranger things that you can't quite tell a friend. And then they were sent letters from a new acquaintance who might be from an international or a local school."
Margot Blanc and Candela <redacted> are two of these students and the ironic twist is that not only were they at school together for a term, but they even shared the same house - Papillonlisse. While spinning different circles at the time, how with this anonymity help or hinder any potential bond between them?

We have something in common! I consider myself to be a bit of a make-up artist myself. Hair as well for the same reasons! Do you have a favorite color to change your hair to? How would you describe your make-up aesthetic? Favorite color palettes? I am not particularly gifted in any subject, though Transfiguration holds my interest the easiest. I'm currently working on my human transfigurations specifically.
If you don't mind, I rather enjoy the sentiment of anonymity. Would you mind terribly if we continued to use our code names? Do you feel yours fits you? I find that Goofy Phoenix is actually an impeccable fit for myself!
Did you enjoy the bookmark? I ask a lot of questions, can you tell?

No, i suppose the code names would be alright although I'm not quite certain about the shaggy part but I discovered that I can make my cheeks puff out all like a puffskein. Perhaps if I don't brush my hair!
The bookmark was quite lovely and I've currently decided to use it as a marker in my transfiguration book to remind me of our letters.

Procrastination was something Candi was impeccable at. Her OWL study materials were all spread out across her bed as she lay flat on her stomach, encompassing her in a wall of notes and textbooks adorned with entirely unnecessary doodles in the margins, on the covers, and along the text blocks. She had a few mock exams Niko had prepared for her to take on each of the subjects he tutored her in, a little side project in Transfiguration from Fraser, Defense Against the Dark Arts revision from Keenan, and a Potions essay she was meant to have a first draft done of for Orion to look over but presently only had the date and title splayed across the otherwise blank piece of parchment. In fact, the actual parchment in front of her now had absolutely nothing to do with academia at all...unless you counted reading a letter from another student as such. She was in the moment, it counted as learning if you were learning about another person!
Reading the letter over once more, the Hufflepuff was pleased by the tonal shift compared to the first one. Because, if she was being frank, Candei did have standards (something her Shaggy Puffskein hoped she had) and a continued tone of that variety was below them and this would have resulted in a very short quill and parchment relationship. Though she was not sure she believed the bad batch of escargot excuse, she was nonetheless pleased to feel the writing in better spirits than before. Hopefully her dear Shaggy Puffskein would not mind the adornments to the parchment she had designed using her colored inks - medieval manuscript was a real mood.
Once she had had enough of her design aesthetic - some of these would make for some REALLY cute tattoos - she sorted that she ought to finally get to writing her response.

I was just at Beauxbatons for the term before transferring. The nature of my parents' jobs unfortunately requires a more mobile lifestyle and we never seem to stay anywhere for too long. Though it is my sincere hope that I remain here, at Hogwarts, for longer. What house are you? Has word yet reached Beauxbatons about what has happened to Professor de Nostredame? He's in St. Mungo's recovering from a stab wound. I heard a rumor that Godric Gryffindor ran him straight through! It's absolutely horrible news.
I tend to favor pinks and purples as well, though I truly am all over the gradient when it comes to hair in make-up. In fact, as I write this letter to you I am sporting a dark blue lip, a thick cat eye, and silver hair. Ellsbury line when I can afford it, of course. The silver really helps capture the dandelion aesthetic I have with my usual styling, though it was a wine red color not too long ago upon request. I have no ambition on becoming an animagus. My interests are rooted more aesthetic rather than anything truly practical like that. I do enjoy creatures and have a pet hedgehog named Cinnamon who I often transfigure into a pin cushion for when I am doing some embroidery or bead work. I enjoy design, mostly accessories, and bedazzling things is often something I do in my free time.

There was SO much more she wanted to write, but another glance at the clock reminded her that she had someone to meet by their windowsill near the Astronomy Tower and she most certainly did not want to be late for that. Quickly folding the letter a bit haphazardly, she fit it into the envelope and applied a bit of red wax to the back to seal it. She would stop by the Owlery tomorrow to send it off.

Margot had read Goofy Phoenix's letter at the end of her sixth year, but then end of year exams happened and then summer and as a result, the letter had remained largely forgotten throughout the summer, buried in the bottom of her unpacked trunk. Why she hadn't bothered to inform her parents of her new penpal was a different story, but it seemed hardly relevant to the matter. It was a month into her seventh year at Beauxbatons when the letter resurfaced itself as she was rummaging through her trunk for a particular outfit.
Rereading it once more, the Papillonlisse seventh year set it down beside her as she withdrew a clean piece of parchment and purple ink to begin writing a belated reply. Quote: Querido Goofy Phoenix,

So it is unlikely our paths crossed while you were at Beauxbatons then. I'm in Papillonlisse House. Word had not yet traveled about Professor de Nostredame, but it pains me to hear that about the stab wounds. Curious as to what a Godric Gryffindor is? Is that one of ze rumoured ghosts that Hogwarts has? I knew ze Professor was making a mistake by accepting ze job at Hogwarts. It seems like a dangerous place for an education.
Were you into zis aesthetic at Beauxbatons? It seems vaguely familiar. Would you want to pursue something in the fashion industry after Hogwarts? Perhaps creating your own line or brand?
I'm not into the bedazzling or glitters but i do enjoy ze bright colours aesthetics, layering my hair with a balayage whenever possible. You can never go wrong with a good red lip. Does Hogwarts allow you to have a pet hedgehog or do you leave him home? I enjoy playing around with makeup artistry, but also dabbling in all types of art styles. I suppose a dream would be to attend to WADA but I don't know if I will be accepted.
