Inside the halls of Hogwarts, students studiously rise to be witches and wizards. Young magicians aspire greatness and power and work hard to fine tune their magical power. Prestigious students understand the importance of knowledge.

Not.

Eight years ago, Harry Potter gave his life to defeat the power of Voldemort. A sacrifice that, much like that of his parents, cloaked not only Harry's closest loved ones, but the entire Wizarding World in a peace. A peace that is to last another fourty-two years. And though Harry has died and his friends moved on, life carries on at Hogwarts. Days don't stop and nights stretch on. And while one Hogwarts legacy has moved on, a new one is here to take it's place.

The Year 2005 brings us to a new generation of Hogwarts. Groups of friends formed. Students who never knew Harry Potter or his friends. This is a new breed of Hogwarts. Life goes on. Drama. Relationships. Enemies. Friends. Family. Welcome to the Life known as Hogwarts.

{:The.Setting:}

The year is 2005, eight years after Harry Potter's death. None of the students who attended school while Harry and Co. remain and none of the students in this RP will be related to any of them. These students have settled into the peace of their lives and many have begun to forget how Fear even felt.

This is a story of growing up and coming to age. A story of being yourself and changing yourself. This is our story. This is Hogwarts version two point oh.

The Headmistress is named Professor Minerva McGonagall

Slytherin Head: Defense Against Dark Arts Professor Lliam Knowling

{:Rules:}

1. First and foremost, follow the Knockturn Alley RP Rules. If you refuse to, I will have you kicked out of the RP.
2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable.
3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. But, likewise, don't control another's character. Leave it up to them whether or not something you do affects them.
4. Literacy is a must. if u typ3 lyk dis, then you can't join. You don't have to type novels, but try to keep it a few sentances at least. Describe things, don't just state stuff. And please, try to write as if this is a school paper. Astericks somewhat annoy me =)
5. If you join, stay. RPs suck if not everyone follows through.
6. When joining, post a profile and a sample. I will decide from your profile and sample whether or not you're approved, so make it good ^__^

Lost in her own thoughts, Grace didn't realise Georgie had joined them on the table until she heard Georgie's voice greeting Boo. "Georgie!" She said and smiled at her and rolled her eyes when she watched her bat her eyelashes at Tristan. She greeted her, even if Gerogie had failed to notice that her certain blonde head friend was there. Ah well. She giggled when Georgie asked Cy if he thought about anything else. "I doubt it." She said as she ate the last bit of food on her plate. "Man am I full." She added. "They really need to stop making such good food here or I will be ruining my appetite."

Elle had chosen a very bad seat at the Raveclaw table, she was in the area where everyone was talking and yelling like no tomorrow; which was giving her a headache. She would have joined in if she knew who they all were, but sadly she didn't. Why couldn't Jamie but there to make her or rather force her to talk to all of them.

She sighed as she grabbed another fudge brownie off of one of the plates. Taking a bite and enjoying the yummy taste as it hit her taste buds. For a moment she forgot that Jamie was gone and the fact that she was a loner.

Anna Scott walked to the Gryffindor table, scowling because of the bad weather. [B]"Does it ever gets good??" She muttered under her breath. She looked at her fellow Gryfindors. Seems like they really had a good summer." Anna said under her beath. She took a seat and filled her plate up. "Merlin am hungry. Hey you guys..!! Had a nice summer??" Anna said looking up to allow them to see she exsists.]

Ethan sat down on the Gryffindor table looking for his frineds. "Lord!! these elves really work hard." Ethan said grinnning.

Today she had decided to wear her red squared eyeglasses, hoping that they somehow would grant her powers of intellect. The Goblin Revolt was interesting. It was certainly gory enough. Now, if only she could manage to remember their names. Frowning at the words as she pursed her lips trying to pronounce the names in her head, Zazu felt an odious presence and cast a quick glance over her book at the intruder.

"I'm busy," she snapped and lifted her book up higher, hiding her face completely behind it. "Go snog someone."

Malicio was currently busy trying to figure out the capacity of his mouth by stuffing mashed potatoes into it until his cheeks were bulging and from his pursed lips, a white mass struggled to get out. Hopefully, he wouldn't choke.

A derisive snort escaped Boo. "No one calls me Charolotte anymore," she stated. "Do I look like a Charolotte? Nooo. I am a Boo."

Though Georgie wore him out, Tristan still laughed at the mini-rant he set off from Boo. "Right," he agreed with her, a smirk on his mouth. "Charolotte is the name of a pretty girl."

Boo flushed and swatted at Tristan as her friends errupted into laughter around her. "Sometimes I hate you," she muttered to Tristan as he pulled her into a hug.

Inez giggled, but only because that's what everyone else was doing. She still didn't quite understand what was so funny... Looking over at Quentin she caught the roll of his eyes he was giving her. He clearly knew her all too well. She smirked then stuck the pink straw back into her mouth.

Sinjin glanced at the slytherin table and spotted Aubernon. He hated him. Not only him, but anyone who bragged constantly about their money and were completely spoiled. He could have everything and it still wouldn't seem like enough.

Anastasia followed his gaze and saw why he was glaring. "Oh so now he's onto Donovan." she said with a smirk.

"That's what I heard." Inez said quietly.

Rykeir also sat at the Ravenclaw table, chewing happily on his food. He would have been even happier if it wasn't so dang crowded where he was. All these girls screeching were starting to irritate him. Giving a sigh, he tried his best to ignore them and continue his eating.

He was relatively new at Hogwarts - well, if you could count it that way. He missed the last year because he went back to his birthplace - Taiwan - and finally was able to go back to school in England once again. He doubts anyone remembers him, since the last time he was here was in his fourth year.

Glancing over at all the girls, Rykeir raised an eyebrow when they were off talking about some girls hair, then they suddenly switched conversation topics and.. well, he didn't know what they were talking about.

He looked over when a girl - was that Georgie? - yelled a 'hi' at him and grinned. Scooting down the bench to get closer to Georgie and the lot, he plastered a smile on his face. "Hiiiiii," Rykeir basically yelled back to Georgie and winked. "And how was your summer, my Georgie?" He asked sweetly, flashing another smile. He totally has the little kid thing going for him. For one thing, he looks like a ten year old, and other thing, he's this happy-go-lucky/polite guy.. when he wants to be.

Boo cast a knowing look at Inez. It was common knowledge that she and Inez were friends. Boo was friends with nearly everyone who would give her a chance. "It appears so," she said, quirking her eyebrow.

Why the heck would anyone go after the Black Widow? She was eeeevvviiilll.

So. There were a FEW people Boo could never get along with.

Tristan glanced over at Rykeir. He didn't know him, no. But then, Tristan didn't recognize many people. He lived in a sort of haze and let through only select people. Even now he was working very hard to tuen out Mozzie and Frankie (why was she even in his lap, anyway?)

Inez shook her head to herself. "I just don't get it." she said, thinking about Zazu. Inez was one of those people who atleast tried to become friends with everyone. She tried that with Zazu and it didn't exactly work out, to say the least.

"Well that wouldn't be a first..." Quentin said jokingly with a nudge. She was the easiest person to make fun of since she didn't understand what you were getting at atleast 90 percent of the time. Unless you spelled it out for her, she was hopeless.

Elle slowly got up from the table, she couldn't take another minuet of all the loud talking and laughter. She need some fresh air and a moment of peace and quiet. It wasn't like anyone would notice or care if she left, since she was a invisible to them.

She stood outside looking at the moon and all of the stars that flooded the night sky. Her mind began to wander to Jamie and what he was doing. She couldn't seem to get him out of her head and it was making her so confused.

Boo patted Inez's arm gently. "There's a lot you don't get," she said, grinning and nodding. "That's why I'm here. To get what you don't get so you can kind of get it through me."

There was a very, VERY large chance that Inez did not "get" what she said. Boo giggled.

Waiting for Georgie to notice her, Grace laughed at Quentin's comment on Inez, who still didn't get what he had just said. "Don't worry about it, Sweetie." She said to Inez and yawned. She was full and was staring to get a little sleepy. She smiled at everyone on the table. Many of the students on the table weren't even Ravenclaws, but the rule about sitting at your own table was history. And it's not like students really followed the rules. After all, rules were made for breaking.

Glancing around the table, Grace's eyes fell on the boy sitting next to Georgie. She had seen him somewhere, but she couldn't quite recall where. She blinked and looked at him again. "OMG! RYKEEEIR!" How stupid could she be? "How are you? Sorry I didn't notice you before. How stupid could I be? But you weren't here last year. Of course you weren't, you said you'd go to Taiwan. So sorry. How was Tiwan. I hope you had fun and it is sooooooo good to see you!" She finally finished and beamed at him.

Warren looked at Anna as she sat on the table. "My summer was alright." He replied to her question as he finished his muffin. "How was yours?" He asked her and nodded when Ethan commented on the Elfs working. "They have. As always." He reached out to get some pie.

Georgie propped her chin on one of her arms and drummed her fingers on the table as she listened to everyone speak. Although everyone was speaking at the same time, she could just make out some of the statements. First, there was Grace. She looked over to her and grinned widely. "Graaace!" she squealed, giving her a hug. She giggled as she commented on her words towards Cy and nodded in agreement. When Cy told them that she thought of women too, she snorted. "Duh! Of course you do! That's what boys do!" she said matter-of-factly.

Georgie then looked over to Boo, rolling her eyes playfully. "You used to look like a Charolotte," she said, sticking her tongue out. She glanced up at Tristan and wrinkled her nose in a cutesy manner. "Boo is pretty," she said simply, before giving him a small and quick peck on the cheek and scooting over to Rykier. She blinked as he yelled a 'Hi' at her, but soon beamed. His kiddie charm never failed to impress. She threw her arms around him and gave him a hug, before pulling away and giggling. "My summer was good, thanks! Not as boring as I expected it to be. Yay for travelling!" she said, clasping her hands together gleefully. "And you, my dear Ry?" she asked, batting her eyelashes once more. To be honest, it was sickening to look at, but it was hard to break the habit.

Auberon shook his head as Zazu snapped at him. Of course, he was used to it. She wasn't an easy fish to fry. He heard his 'groupies' let out a small growl. Common indication that they disliked Zazu for snapping at their Auberon. Then, he glanced over his shoulder at the Ravenclaw table. He wasn't stupid. He knew and felt when someone was staring, maybe because he was stared at so much. He glared back at the Ravenclaws who were seemingly ogling at him, then turned his attention back to Zazu.

"Busy? C'mon, can't you spare a minute?" he asked smoothly, raising his hand to touch the top of the spine of the book. When she spoke again, he raised an eyebrow. "Well, well. What a coincidence it is. It just so happens that the someone I've decided to snog is sitting right across me," he said almost in a whisper. Upon hearing this, his groupies let out a gasp. He grinned to himself. Oh, he couldn't have wanted anything less. Zazu would probably attmept to murder him with what he had just said, but he knew he wasn't alone. (Groupies!

Feeling like a reject, Grace looked around her. Nobody had spoken to her yet. Not directly. Throughout the entire feast. She knew that as the years passed by, she was starting to loose faith in friendship in her life. She has seen some wonderful friendships. Examples of some were right in front of her. She looked at Mozzie, Nolan, Frankie, Georgie, Boo, Inez, Tristian. Basically everyone around her. They were great people. Really. They were. And she talked to them like she all of them were really close to her. But she never felt like she was a part of the group. She was there and very friendly and everything, but sometimes she felt a little, left out. But maybe it was just her, over analysing stuff because she was a little bored.

Grace hugged Gerogie back and laughed at her comment on Cy, her recent thoughts about friendship completely forgotten. "I don't think I know any boy who doesn't." Her eyes fell on Auberon. She had always thought he was cute. Just too full of himself. She was glad to know that she wasn't the only sensible person at Hogwarts who wasn't all gaa gaa over him.

Inez looked at Boo with those wide blue eyes of hers trying to comprihend what the heck she was talking about. Finally, after a short pause she just smiled and nodded. "Yep." she said, feeling that that was a good enough response. Then she gave a small giggle with Boo. Hearing Grace's comment she gave a confused look and said, "Don't worry about what?"

Quentin snorted and took a sip of his pumpkin juice. Then to distract her he just handed her the almost empty energy drink.

"Oooo! My Joker!" she said grabbing it, as if she had completely forgotten it was there. Sticking the pink straw in her mouth, she smiled happily.

"Who's that girl over there?" Anastasia asked as she watched the girl leave.

Sinjin looked at where her finger was pointing and said, "I think her name is Elle. She's new. Why?" She just shrugged.

"Just wondering. She looks sad." She said turning her attention back to Sinjin. He just laughed, not seeing why it mattered so much to her.

Rykeir opened his eyes wide when this.. this girl screamed his name and talked for about two minutes without breathing. He thought she looked familier.. her name started with a G. Turning slightly when Georgie said her name, his eyes lit up. "GRACEEEE," he threw back her name, as she did to him. He didn't feel like talking today, but he liked to imitate people and he thought of these conversations as a game, so he decided to play along. "I'm awesomely good, it's okay, very stupid but we all still love you, mmmhmm, Taiwan was amazing, I had fun, you toooooooooooooooooo," he replied, answering all the questions in order and beaming.

I uncovered the infamous Loch Ness monster!" He tilted his head and narrowed his eyes. "Turns out it swam allllll the way to Asia, can you imagine? Well, it's in the Mueseum of Natural History now, so we should all go to that big city in America.. er, York New? Well, we should all go visit it sometime because it's like 1000 pounds and 10,000 feet wide. HUGE!" Rykeir smiled sweetly when he finished before focusing his attention on the few crumbs on his plate. "Wonder if we'll have the same classes, Georgie.."

Zazu was busy trying to freakin' memorize this material for the upcoming lesson but Auberon was fearless and so were his groupies and they were beginning to get on her nerves. Her hairs stood on end when he declared his wish to press his disgusting lips on hers. Putting her book down, her brown eyes darkened ominously and her pink lips thinned out to a line which could only be interpreted as Auberon's demise.

"Is that so?" She spat. "Since we're sharing desires I'll go ahead and share mine. My deepest desire is to not kiss you. Ever. Ever. Besides--" She added, casting a sideways glance at the Ravenclaw table. Might as well kill two birds with one stone. Plus, how funny it would be to see Tristan's face once he heard. "The one I want to kiss is not you but Mister Storme." This last sentence she said it loud enough to make sure it would drift over to the Gossip Queens.

Wiggling in his lap as Frankie kissed her cheek, Mozzie snuggled up to the boy, letting her head fall on his shoulder. “You can NEVER have too many sweets,” she told him, “Never ever ever!” Which, in Mozzie’s world, was an absolute truth.

“I was just WONDERING,” she said, sitting back up as Frankie interrogated her about the food poisoning. “Why else do I have to smell the thing?” That was a completely valid point.

Mozzie didn’t cuss. She had candy names for that.

Boo stuck her tongue out at Tristan. “Hear that, Stormy? I’m pretty!” It’d been a long time since Boo had even been a Charolotte. In their first year, Tristan called her Boo and the name stuck. Only her friends even knew she was a Charolotte. She didn’t even seem to notice Georgie kissing Tristan on the cheek and merely retied her red ribbon.

She watched Elle leave and contemplated getting up and following. She probably should, she noted, but Inez was being a ditz again. Boo slung her arm around Inez’s should, giggling. “Energy drink is to Inez what candy is to Mozzie.”

It was Nolan who got up from the table to follow Elle. He was able to slip away unnoticed, with everyone laughing and talking and Mozzie in Frankie’s lap. He made his way out of the Great Hall in search of the girl. Elle was what they said her was.

“Hey!” he called to her, gently. “You left the feast.”

Boo was the first to hear what The Black Widow said. The whole Great Hall probably could have. A low growl escaped her and she sat up, alert, looking kind of like a prairie dog.

Tristan looked up, Zazu’s voice cutting through his wall of separation. His eyes scanned the room to fall on her, his face blank, though inside, he was trying desperately to comprehend what she’d just said. The Ice Queen. Was talking about kissing someone.

Mister Storme.

She was looking back at them. At their table. His mind sorted itself though and after a wave of shock widened his eyes, he stood up and smirked slyly. “Why, Queen Zazu. I had no idea you felt that way.” He had to raise his usually quiet voice to carry to her. “Had I known, I’d have confessed long ago. I long for you, my Queen. You are my fire, though cold hearted you seem. I know, deep down, your passion burns the same for me.”

Behind him Boo gagged.

Her fingers clutched the History of Magic book tightly. If letters and leather could speak it would be shrieking in pain at having Zazu's nails dig into them. As usual when Storme was in the vicinity she tensed and brought up the book once more, opening at whatever random page she could without seeming too nervous and hid behind it, thinking it better not to reply to him right away.

Well, at least until the pink splotches in her pale face decided to leave and bring back her breath.

The most amusing part of this happened to be that the Great Hall just witnessed this. "Mozzie's Posse" and the surrounding students would talk about it for days, now. His smirk still played on his mouth and he folded his arms over his chest, dark hair falling into his eyes.

"Ahhh, my Queen. You're speechless. If that's the case. We'll meet. Tonight. At the fountain. If you show, I'll know your feelings are returned." He spoke with dramatic bravado, his smirk turning to a grin as he turned around and returned to his table. Sitting down, he smirked over at her.

You should know him better than that, Zazu.

Zazu grumbled and contemplated chucking the book at his overly large head. Pink splotches erupting everywhere on her face now, they formed a sheer blanket of embarrassment and her eyes watered out of frustration and humiliation. Slamming the book shut, already hearing hisses and whispers, not to mention snickering behind hands, Zazu stood up, book and school bag in tow and marched out of the great hall, nose up in the air as she tried to leave with the dignity she still had left inside her. The rest laid scattered in pieces on the table where she had decided to open her large mouth and insert her diminutive foot.

The always loud and energetic Jason was sitting quietly on his seat, staring at his empty plate with a blank expression. Early on, before the feast has even began, he decided not to eat because he was not in the mood. All he could think as of right now was to sleep on his warm, comfortable bed after being active for almost nineteen consecutive hours.

However, his friends were very persistent. They placed a big piece of pink cake on his plate and asked him to eat it. He tried to push it towards his friends, but they slid it back in front of him. He gave up because he was so drained and doesn't have the power to argue with them. Even before taking a slice of the cake, his face suddenly slumped on the plate, causing some cake to fly on the people around him.

As she felt Boo's arm around her shoulder, Inez leaned her head against. She smiled widely at her, but then jumped in her seat with excitement. "Ooo! I love energy drinks! And frapaccinos and smoothies and moutain dew and orange juice and apple juice a-"

"Anything with a straw." Quentin interrupted, knowing that it could go on the rest of the night. He knew that she liked pretty much any drink and there's a lot out there.

Inez nodded with a big smile, but then was distracted by what the black widow said. She tapped on Quentin's shoulder with a fast pace until he finally looked over. "Did you hear that?!" He just nodded. As she watched Tristan's reaction, she gave a very confused look. "I thought he hated her..." she said, tilting her head to the side.

Quentin rolled his eyes. "Sarcasm." he said, simply. When her expression didn't change he sighed and said, "He was only trying to embarass her. He was joking." He said it as slow and clear as he could make it. Finally she had a full look of understanding.

"Oh!" she said happily, letting a giggle slip.

Anastasia could care less about Zazu and Tristan and all that. She kept looking at the door Elle had just went through followed by Nolan. She flet so bad for her, not knowing anyone. Finally getting out of her seat she said, "Be right back."

" 'Kay." Sinjin said with a smile as he watched her run out the door.

Georgie watched Rykier closely. She then gasped when he spoke and grabbed hold of her shirt. "Ry! Stoppit!" she squealed, holding her blouse closer to her chest so as not to expose anything unwanted. "I wanted to take you, buuuut my mommy said no," she said in a friendly way, altough hinted with sarcasm. She wriggled out from his grip and straightened herself up. Her eyes lit up with interest as he spoke of the Loch Ness monster. She beamed. "Reaaally? Ehmagod! You lucky guy! That's way better than travelling!" she said, believing every word he said, as usual. Yes, she was gullible. "I wanna go there soon!" she said, giggling some more. She watched him with a small smile, and nodded furiously as he spoke. "Ooh! I hope so!" she said, beaming widely.

Auberon waited for Zazu's reaction. He smirked slightly as he saw her purse her lips. He pretended to ignore that. He then watched her put her book down and listened to her as she spoke. His eyebrows shot up quickly as he heard her words. He glanced over his shoulder and blinked unbelievingly. Instantly, his groupies started muttering and whispering.

Storme? Tristan Storme? He looked back at her.

"You've got to be kidding, Icey. Storme is such a loser. Why settle for him when you've got the Daly?" he said, wiggling his eyebrows slightly. He really hated to admit it, but Storme was some good competition. Having Zazu like Tristan instead of himself was, in his world, quite unbelievable.

Georgie then looked over her shoulder when she heard someone speak of Storme. There was only one Storme she knew. And there was only one person in all of Hogwarts that had that icy kind of voice -- Zazu Donovan.

She growled as she heard her wanting to kiss Tristan. Didn't she just see that she kissed Tristy? She tried not to look angry and irritated when he agreed on meeting her at the fountain. What was Tristy thinking? Entertaining Zazu? Meeting with Zazu... seriously. Eww. She looked over at a gagging Boo and opted to join her.

She then glanced over at Quentin when he spoke, then her mouth suddenly twisted into a smile. Ahh, clever Tristan Storme has done it again! Way to go!

She would've just loved to see Zazu's face.

Auberon frowned as he watched Zazu get up and leave. She really was a tough nut to crack. One of his better, harder challenges. At times, he regretted even trying to get to her, but he had his sights set on her already, and whatever Auberon wanted, Auberon got.

He waited till she was halfway out the door, then got up. Immediately, his groupies got out from their seats and followed him suite. Although they didn't want to have anything to do with the Ice Queen, Auberon was there, and they had practically sworn their lives to him upon meeting him.

"Zazu, wait up!" he said, determined to get her attention.
