A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Victoire laughed. Matt didn't seem like the waltzing type, but then again he hadn't seemed like one for classical music before she heard him perform incredible music on his piano. He hadn't seemed like the friendly type until he had approached her on the Hogwarts Express. He had proved her wrong so many times and that was a blessing in itself. Matt still was cocky, albeit not as badly as she had thought him to be, and he could become angry, but only sometimes. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. "You can never be too sure," She smiled, squeezing his hand as his made contact with hers. "I could say the same for you as well. Why else would I date a Slytherin?" She joked.

"Because I'm devilisly good looking, and filthy rich." He joked in return, with a playfull smile. He looked up into her eyes, feeling that familliar warmth washing over his entire body. There was something about her, and he wasn't sure what it was. But whatever it was, he wasn't letting go of it. He'd already lost one girl who'd stolen his heart, and he hoped this one wouldn't be the same. "I could say the same to you though. What reason would I have to date a gryffindor."

Rose followed after Al. "So have you seen Teddy lately?" she asked him. He wondered how he was holding up. It must have been hard for him to see Victorie with Matt.

Not paying attention to where she was going he ran straight into someone. "Oh, excuse me. I wasn't watching." she said.

Al nodded. "Yeah, we were talking earlier today when I was looking for Alyss. Actually, he was the one who suggested I bring her to christmas dinner." He admitted, as Rose walked straight into which ever twin was walking infront of them. He laughed under his breath, shaking his head. "Really Rose, you have to watch where you're going." He said with a smirk.

Kyle felt someone run into his back, and turned, to apologize for walking so slow, when his eyes fell on the person he wanted to see least. "Oh." He said quietly. "Don't even worry about it. It's probably just as much my fault." He replied, as he pushed his hood back. He gave her a half smile. "Well, I'll see you around then." He said, letting the two walk ahead of him.

Al's smirk turned a little darker as he watched the interaction between the two. "Nonsence! Walk with us. Seems you're heading down to dinner anyway." He said cheerfully. "And, just out of curiosity, have you seen Alyss?" He asked.

Kyle nodded. "Yeah, she was in the commons a minute ago, when I left. She'll probably be up for supper." He replied, walking to the outside of Al, leaving him between himself and Rose. The girl probably didn't want to be anywhere near him now anyway... And probably thought he was a creep. Merlin forbid I think you're pretty. He thought to himself.

Victoire had to laugh at his arrogance. Matt meant well, and that was all that mattered to her. "Oh, maybe you saw something in me that other people don't," She began, a small smile beginning to curve her lips, "Either that or a psychotic death wish." She held back her laughter as she began, "Wait until the rest of the Weasleys and Potters hear about all of this interhouse dating. They'll have a fit. But they'll just have to deal with it; I'm not letting anyone or anything pull us apart."

"Really? He did?" Rose asked. She had no idea why she was asking, that sounded completely like Teddy. But this wasn't a normal relationship they were talking about. Surely Teddy understood that.

"Oh, hey Kyle. I didn't recognize you with your hood up." she said realizing who it was. Not that she would have noticed anyway. She wasn't really paying attention to anything.

Matt smiled lovingly, and sat up one leg on either side of the bench, behind her as she sat cross legged. He wound his arms about her waist, and pulled her back against him, resting his chin on her shoulder. "I won't either." He said quietly, pushing her hair over her other shoulder, and placing a gentle kiss to her cheek. "I love you." He whispered in her ear. He knew it probably didn't mean much coming from him, being who he was, and given the rumors about tim floating around. But it was the truth, and she needed to hear it.

Al nodded again. "Yeah, I did, actually. I wasn't shocked, because it's Teddy, and he's all about the rule breaking. But he was rather persistant about it." He shrugged, and turned to walk backwards, looking at the pair. He glanced up at Kyle, who was still not moving any closer to his cousin. "How was you're afternoon, Kyle?" He asked, with a plesant smile, trying to get the boy to talk.

Kyle shrugged at Rose's comment. Of course she wouldn't, then again no one could really. From behind, unless their hair was visible, the twins looked exactly alike from back on. Same build, same general mannor of dress. "It was alright. I think the lack of sleep caught up with me in History of Magic, so I took the last three periods off." He said lazily, before yawning. "Yours?" He asked the both of them.

Victoire couldn't help but smile as he spoke those words to her. She knew that he meant every word that he said and it made her stomach flutter every time he held her near. "I love you too, darling," She answered, glad to be in his arms as it should be. Looking about, her gaze caught the analog clock that lay magicked onto the wall with a permanent sticking charm. "I think we should go," She spoke a bit reluctantly, "Your team will be finishing practice soon, and the feast is about to begin." Victoire didn't desire to move one bit, but she knew how odd it would be for the rest of the Slytherin team to happen upon the two cozy lovers.

Matt nodded. "Yeah, c'mon." He said, getting up and extending a hand to her. She was right after all. He walked her back to the castle, and stopped at the doors to the great hall. "I guess I'll see you later." He said softly, placing a last kiss to her lips. "I've got to have a word with my stuborn brother. See if his nap earlier brightened his mood any. Something tells that it didn't, at all." He said sarcastically, with a smirk.

After her chat with Kyle, Alyss returned to her dorm for a bit. She started some of her essays and changed into something a bit more comfortable. Grabbing her ballet flats, she pulled them on and raced back tot he common room and then through the entrance. She wasn't hungry at all but she wanted to see if she could catch Al. Her talk with Kyle had her thinking. Maybe Al would be good for her, but she didn't want to get her hopes up. She needed to talk to him first before she got ahead of herself.

Victoire let go of his hand rather reluctantly. "Alright, love. Good luck," But as she moved along, she noticed a rather odd trio. Was that Kyle, Rose, and Al all together in a little group? Victoire wanted to spit venom, knowing that Al treated Kyle like a human being while he continued to treat her boyfriend like scum. But she sucked up her pride, approaching the group as she figured that she could give Al a helping hand. "Hey," She smiled at all three, knowing that her sudden appearance might surprise them. "Al, could I have a word? It's about that essay that you were helping me on." She continued to smile but gave Al a certain look that told him to come immediately.

Al arched an eyebrow at Victorie when she suddenly came walking up to them. The look in her eyes said not to question what she said, and just do it. He nodded, and shrugged. "Sure... I'll see you at the table Rose." He said, walking off with the blonde. "Ok, for one, I wasn't helping you want any essay. You've been too busy with Matt to even get a start on your homework. So what do yiu need me so despreatly for, that you had to pull me away from trying to get your plan into action?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest. He still wasn't thrilled with her, or her boyfriend for that matter. Even if he was trying to get his other cousin with her boyfriends brother. At least Kyle acted like a human being, and not some demi-god wannabe.

"Oh, just spent the past two hours translating some runes." Rose said glad she was finally done with that assignment. "And now we're heading off to dinner." she answered. Then her other cousin came and stole Al. "Correction. Looks like I'm going down to dinner."

Kyle shrugged, looking around for Matt, who was still nowhere to be seen. "Yeah, same here." He said with a half smile. If this were the previous day, he'd have asked her to come sit with him. But after the morning's revelation of how he felt, and how terribly she'd reacted, he figured it'd be best to leave it be.

Victoire crossed her arms over her chest, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. Her brow knitted as the anger built up. "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought I could pull you away so that they could talk alone. But I screwed up again, didn't I?" Her tone was laced with sarcasm and anger as she tried to hold back. Clenching her fists momentarily before forcing them to relax, she began once more, "You know, I'm not going to get into it with you. Especially in public. In fact, after this whole scheme is over, I want nothing to do with you and your damn attitude." Victoire had almost hissed the words as it felt like her head would explode from steam. She turned on her heel and went along in the opposite direction, knowing that she needed to cool off. But she felt that she had a right to be fuming: Al treated her like the spawn of Satan and treated Matt like Lucifer himself. At this point, Victoire wasn't sure that she could muster up any familial love for Albus Severus Potter.

Alyss rounded the corner and stepped into the Great Hall. Giving the room a quick scan, she tilted her head slightly. Where should she go first? She did want to see Al, but at the same time she didn't want to seem too eager. She still needed to speak with Meg and Jay, but they didn't appear to be anywhere to be seen. Giving her hair a slight flip, she walked down the aisle and headed for her own house table.

"Shall we head down together?" Rose suggested. "It looks like Victorie is about to explode... and we wouldn't want to be here for that." she said looking back over at her two cousins. It was amazing that just a few weeks ago there was hardly any fighting in her family. And now it seemed like those two were always going at it.

Al groaned in frustration as Victorie walked away from him, fuming. It only sent him into a bad mood, which was not good. He still had to ask Alyss if she'd help them out, getting Kyle and Rose together. But as he entered the great hall, he spotted the pair walking in together. Maybe she'd taken his advice after all...

Matt sat at the table, waiting for his brother to come in, and prepared himself for the most difficult conversation in life. Vic instead caught his eye first. She looked as if she'd kill the next person who got in her way. He made a mental note to ask her what had happened after. Thats when his eyes fell on the pair who entered just after she did. His twin, and Rose. A small smile spread across his lips, as he saw his brother actually smiling, albiet, only a little. So instead of taking him away from that, he sat back, and started eating alone, though, keeping an eye on the pair.

Victoire sat down at the far end of the table, towards the staff table as she desired to see no one at the moment. She saw Kyle and Rose enter together but even the sight of the happy pair didn't make her smile. Biting her lip in conternation, Victoire took in a few deep breaths. Al worked her up to no end. If he wasn't going to change, then she would. Maybe avoiding him until they had to speak, such as around the holidays, would be better for all. Picking up her fork, she began picking at the vegetables that lay on her gilded plate, not in the mood to eat.

Teddy took a seat at the staff table, Professor Slughorn almost immediately pulling him into a conversation. Teddy happily obliged, picking up his goblet of pumpkin juice. As Slughorn babbled on, Teddy's eyes scanned the great hall. From a distance, he saw Kyle and Rose enter. Maybe Al's plan had worked after all. Nearest to him was Victoire. She looked rather angry, so Teddy figured that it was better that he not approach her for fear of invoking her wrath and Matt's glares. Setting his goblet on the polished wood of the table, Teddy turned to Slughorn to contribute to the conversation. Slughorn seemed a bit hyped about the upcoming quidditch season.

When they finally arrived at the Great Hall Rose looked over to the Gryffindor table. "Well I'm that way." she said motioning with her head toward the Gryffindor table. Then she had no idea what to say next. So instead of talking she just waved and began heading over.

Kyle nodded once, and watched her walk away from him again. He sighed, and made his way towards the Slytherin table, and took a seat beside his brother. "Hey." He said quietly. "How come you're not over with Victorie?" He asked, arching an eyebrow.

Matt shrugged. "She said she had to talk to Al about something." He replied, taking a sip from his glass. "That, and I needed to talk to you." He said, looking over at Kyle rather seriously. "Really, kid, you just need to suck it up, and take her out on a real date. So far, you guys have been talking, and hanging out. There hasn't been any real dates yet." He suggested. "Ask her to go to the Yule ball with you. I'm going with Vic, and Al is probably taking Alyss, so she'll be on her own... And we can't have that." Matt smiled a little, and glanced over at the red-head. "Vic already said she was going anyway. Might as well give her some company."

Alyss glanced up and down their house table and grabbed her goblet of water. Sipping at it, she looked to see the twins just a little ways down the table. Getting up from her spot, she moved down. Scaring a few firsties as she did. "Did I hear my name?" she smirked. her ears did always perk a bit when her name was mentioned in conversations and she usually wanted to know what others were saying about her. "And I do agree with him, Kyle. I seriously think you should just grow a pair and ask her out on a REAL date. What do you have to seriously lose?"

Kyle shrugged. "I don't know. I know you guys are right, but honestly, what's the point? She already made it clear that she's not interested in me at all." He said, poking at his food a little. "Maybe we're just not meant to be. I don't even care anymore..." He sighed. It wasn't true. He cared, a lot. But all this work, with no reward was making him tired.

Alyss shook her head and sighed. "well obviously, she's worth it so you shouldn't be giving up so easily." she replied as she stared at some firsties. Why did they always have to eavesdrop on their conversation. Giving them a death stare, she heard some of them yelp and turn away. Yes, she still had it. Looking back to Kyle, she smirked. "Who ever said it was meant to be and that just because it isn't, you should try. Seriously, when has that every stopped any of us from going after what we want?" They were Slytherins and they were notorious for getting what they want by almost any means.

Kyle looked up at Alyss, as if she was speaking a whole different language. "Alyss, this is ME we're talking about here. When have I ever gotten what I wanted? When have I ever been not a complete social-retard? Going after what I want, isn't going to work, so I'm giving up." He said sarcastically. Though she had a point, Kyle knew that the gods weren't in his favour, and he and Rose would never work out. It killed him to think that way, but at least, he only had to spend a few more months in the same building as her. Then, he'd be on the road, with as many girls flocking to him as he could handel... Not that any of them could ever compare to Rose...

"Kyle, seriously." Matt said, dropping his fork to his plate with a loud clatter. Several first years looked over, their eyes wide with shock. "I'm getting really sick and tired of this 'my-life-sucks-because-I'm-a-rockstar' attitude. Suck it up, and ASK HER OUT. How else do you think I got Vic?" He said, looking over. "Stop feeling so bloody sorry for yourself, and just DO something about it. Whining isn't going to do you any good." Having finished his meal anyway, Matt stood from the table and pushed his chair back. "I'll be in the music room." He said, walking, or storming away. As much as he loved his brother, his attitude was driving him crazy latley. He did all he possibly could to cheer him up, and nothing worked. Even their music didn't help, it only seemed to make it worse. Sighing, Matt pushed the door to the music room open. He flopped down on the couch and picked up his guitar, playing something he'd heard a long time ago. Shockingly, Jay had introduced him to it one day back when the pair spoke like civil people.
"Oh I'm begging you no.
Theres more life left to go.
Oh, I'm begging you please.
'Cause I, I don't want you to leave." He sang softly, looking up at the sealing.
