A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

" No I'm sure it's a fluke and if its not well I'm pretending it is anyways.." He said with a laugh as she looked up towards the towers. " Well I'll let you go talk to Jacobsen since its so early and all I think I might get a few laps around the pitch before breakfast." He said with his usual smirk. " So I'll see you later at breakfast then... Oh and if you still have a problem after talking with the professor I'd be glad to handle them for you."

Like planned Jay had spent sometime out on the pitch then headed to breakfast as he made his way towards his table he spotted Alyss and Meg who he was suprised to see sporting the color green he did have to admit the slytherin colors suited her that was for sure. " I always knew our colors would suit you." He said walking up between Meg and Alyss. " Morning again Alyss." He greeted. " How did your talk with Prof Jacobsen go?" Jay asked then for the first time noticed Al Potter was standing on Alyss oppisite side." Potter.." Jay said acknowledging the gryffindor guy as he looked the guy over skeptically.

Alyss smiled as she saw Jay again and shrugged. "It was so so. Nothing she could really do, but it's not like I couldn't take matters into my own hands," she replied. Alyss Dewley was not one to be teased and she wouldn't let anyone do such a thing to her. If push came to shove, she knew what she needed to do. "You know I might need your help after all, I'll keep you posted."

Looking from Jay back to Al, she bit her lip slightly. She had a bad feeling about the two of them being so close together. Her boyfriend on one side of her and her ~~former crush~~ best housemate on her other. Tension would be high, she knew it.

Al felt the tenaion in the air increase, and his arm dropped from around her waist. He clearly wasn't wanted there by either og the three parties. "I'll let you three catch up." He said before he leaned down and placed a quick kiss on her cheek. He sped his pace and turned down a hallway, away from the slytherine and Ravenclaw who'd been glaring daggers at him.

Kyle nodded. "I hope so. Matt looks distraught enough at it is. I'd really hate to see him if she left him for Lupin again." He looked back to Rose and smiled a little. He really felt the need to tell her how he felt, and see where they stood. All the waiting around for her to say something was killing his patience. His brother had said to just go fir it, and tell her everything. But he knew that wouldn't go iver well at all. He glanced away again.

Meg grinned as she got compliments from her two best friends. "I know, right. Do you think they'd let me switch houses?" she asked. She watched as Potter left. She gave Aly a knowing look. "Care to share on what's going on there?"

"Yeah, well if I know my cousin the chances of that happening are slim. Unless Teddy... err... Professor Lupin... does something super romantic for her. And the odds of that happening are pretty slim. Plus he's a professor now." Rose said finishing up her breakfast.

Alyss frowned a bit as she felt Al's arm drop from her waist. She enjoyed it there, even if her friends didn't like it. Pouting a little, she attempted to kiss him back before he sped off. She really did want her friends to accept her newest boyfriend, but she did have a lot to explain. Sighing as she watched him walk away, she looked back to her friends and smiled innocently. Jay frowned at her admittance that Al was her boyfriend he didn’t see him as the type that could fit well with her. “Cute wouldn’t exactly be how I would put it.” Jay thought jealously as he watched Al Potter start to walk off. “Hey Potter wait!” Jay called walking after the Gryffindor more for the purpose of not having to hear Alyss talk about liking him. Jay caught up with Al just before he could reach the corner. He paused for only a second not sure how to put what he was wanting to say in a nice way. “So... Aly thinks the two of you might be something worthwhile huh?” He asked finding it a little more complicated to make his point than he wanted it to. Jay stuffed his hands in his pockets. “ That’s…” He struggled for a polite word to use. “… nice..” Eventhough his tone might not have sounded sincere he was trying. “what I mean is.. She’s... Look I’m not gonna go around pretending to be your best friend cause we both know you and I are completely different so there is no point in pretending to be pals… But Alyss is my friend I’ve known her my whole life. So regardless what anyone thinks about us Slytherins. I just wanted to let you know there is NOTHING I wouldn’t do for her if she needed me to. That includes squashing anyone that hurts her…” Jay gave him an even you sort of look. “Just make sure your not just playing her along.” Jay said before he turned and made his way back to the common room without breakfast. It was completely out of character for her to make anything official before a real date, but it didn't really matter to her. In fact, she usually waited for such a step. Most boys didn't even last long enough to gain the title of her boyfriend.

Noticing Jay walk after Al, she tilted her head and blinked. "Um, yeah! Completely out of character for him, but maybe he's just not himself today." she said as she looked back to Meg. First, Jay was up extra early and now this? Yeah, this was seriously an out of character day for them.

Kyle shrugged a little. "I dunno. If It's romance she wants, she's found the right guy for it. When Matt's as into someone as he is Victorie, he'll pull out all the stops." He smirked a little, and looked around, seeing the hall was near empty. The little nagging voice in his head was gettin on his nerves, and now was probably the most alone they'd ever get. "Enough about them though." He said, looking back to Rose. "Think we could talk for a minute... I mean, seriously." Already, he could feel his heart pounding behind his ribcage, and the butterflies in his stomach were going crazy. He never took rejection well, and he could already tell thats what was coming.

Al arched an Eyebrow as Jay spoke. "Me, hurt her?" He said, catching up with the Slytherine again. "Honestly? Tell me, when was the last time you heard rumors of me dating someone, or saw me around with a girl?" He asked, rethorically. "Never. I hardly ever get the chance to date a girl around this place, and especially not someone like Aly. You have no worries about me hurting her." He said, before letting the other walk off again.

Kyle took a deep breath. And thats when all the words he'd rehearsed over and over in his head, failed him completely. "Look, I'm going to be as blunt as I can be." He said, looking away quickly. "After the last few days, of you know, hanging out, and whatnot..." He swallowed thickly, feeling his face getting a little warmer. He sighed, still trying to figure out what he was saying. "I like you." He said finally, glancing up. "You're sweet, kind, smart... Pretty..." He smiled a little. "And we seem to have a good time together. At least, I think so anyway. I dunno why I'm telling you this.... I just thought you should know." He looked down to the table again, knowing he was probably blushing.

Rose was a little surprised. Did he just say that? Once the words sank in she felt her face burning. "Umm... thanks..." she said suddenly feeling nervous. "I've had a lot of fun too..." She wasn't sure what else to say? Did she like him too? She'd never really thought about it. She did have fun with him. Maybe she did.

Thanks? That was all he got? No reciprocated feelings? No outright rejection? God, this woman was more confusing then anyone else he'd ever met in his entire life! He sighed inwardly, suddenly thinking that perhaps keeping his mouth shut was the best thing he could have done after all. He stood from the table, and pushed his chair back in. "I... I guess I'll get going. Matt and I have some work to do." He said before turning from her and walking out of the great hall.

Well that was a stupid move. He thought, shoving his hands in his pockets. Tell her you like her. Sure, sounds like a good idea in theory. But of course, it isn't actually such a brilliant plan after all. He headed down the stairs and to the dungeons, where his and Matt's 'music room' was located. It wasn't really a music room, Hogwarts didn't have one after all. There was just some unneeded furniture there, and an old grand piano the twins had spent weeks fixing up. They'd brought down all their instruments, including electric guitars they'd charmed to work in the school. He unlocked the door and went inside, flopping down on a large couch. "I'm an idiot." He said out loud, to no one but himself as he ran his hands through his hair.

"What'd you do now?"

Kyle turned when he heard a familliar voice in the doorway. "Lex." He said, shocked by her appearnece. "I thought you transfered out after he whole deal with Matt a couple years ago." He said, eyeing the girl carefully.

Lex shrugged. "I did. But mum thought it was best I finish where I started, even if it meant uptting up with Matt. I meant to tell you yesterday at that show you put off, but Matt didn't seem too pleased to see me." She said, walking into the room and sitting across from Kyle on another couch. "I was going to talk to him, see if he'd forgive me for what happened... But I guess he's moved on."

Kyle arched an eyebrow. "Uh, yeah. After a year and a half, he finally got over how much you destroyed his life, and found himself someone." He said, voice turning colder then it should have. "And he won't, so you know."

"Obviously." She said, looking down at a tear in her jeans. "I'm sorry you know. I really didn't want it to end how it did." She glanced back up at Kyle, green eyes sparkling in the lighting. "Think he ever will?"

Kyle sighed, looking at her straight. "Honestly, no I don't. And he shouldn't either. Lex, you ruined him. You didn't have to live with him after what went down happened. He was a complete mess... I have never seen him so upset in my life. He didn't eat, he stopped playing, gave up singing... He wasn't himself at all. It took all of the band to snap him out of whatever state he was in." He shook his head and closed his eyes, dragging his hands down his face. She looked back at him, her eyes welling up. "You didn't hear this from me, ok? He still loves you. He really does. But he hates you for what you did. And now that he's got Victorie, I doubt he'd even give you a second look, let alone another chance. He's happy... Finally. So do us all a favour, and leave him be?"

Lex nodded, brushing away a tear. "Alright." She said, defeated. Matt had been the only reason she'd come back, and now, whatever hope she'd had of them getting back together was destroyed. She stood up, feeling like Kyle didn't want her here. "I guess I'll see you guys in class... Or in the commons. They re-sorted me when I came in... Slytherine." She said, looking over her shoulder.

Kyle nodded slowly, and watched as she started walking away. "Lex, wait. Come back. I'm not him... We can still talk you know. I'm still ****** at you for what happened, but I won't hold a grudge." He gave her a weak smile. "That and I don't know where Matt's to." He picked up his guitar, smirking a little. "C'mon, for old time sake." He said, starting to play.

Teddy finished his breakfast rather quickly, wiping his mouth with a napkin and tossing it to the side as he rose and began to leave. Many professors still remained in the Hall to supervise the breakfasting students, so it wouldn't be quite a big deal to leave so early. He decided to continue his roaming about, knowing that he needed to revisit the good ol' Room of Requirement on the seventh floor along with the Gryffindor Common Room. The Fat Lady would probably faint after seeing his reappearance, as she had been quite the flirt during his school days. Merlin, she had despised Victoire when they had dated. Chuckling softly to himself, he made his way up the Grand Staircase and quickly up towards the seventh floor.

Matt took Victorie's hand and lead her out of the room of Requirements. "So, Kyle's probably really mad. I told him I'd be down after breakfast..." He said with a light laugh. "Then again, it isn't like I havn't waited on him before either." He said, pushing the door open, and stopping dead in his tracks. There was a figure walking towards them, curly black hair bouncing as it did. "Lupin." He muttered under his breath, voice laced with malice. He let go of her hand and instead slipped his arm around her waist. "C'mon, it's in the dungeons."

Kyle sighed, looking across the coffee table at Lex. "You should probably go." He said. "Matt said he'd be down after breakfast... And that should be over soon." He hated to be so rude. But Matt really didn't need another show down with his Ex right now. He gave the girl a weak smile, watching as she played his brothers guitar lazily.

"I'll go when he gets here." She said with a soft smile. She needed to see if he brought that girl with him. This was always their place, Hers, Matt's, and Kyle's. And if he truley was over her, he'd have to bring her here. And if he did, then she'd leave, and stop bothering the twins. She just needed to be sure that there was no chance for them.

"Don't worry, love," Victoire squeezed his hand as they walked out of the door, which quickly vanished into the wall behind them. "Kyle's not quick tempered. I'd be surprised if he was mad at your lateness." A bemused expression overcame her face as she saw how Matt's demeanor had immediately changed. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw Teddy. But Matt led her away too quickly for Victoire to be able to greet him. She frowned, beginning, "As much as I hate to say it, he's not all that bad. You should at least try to be cordial; I am. For Merlin's sake, you two haven't even been introduced yet."

Before reaching his destination, Teddy noticed a couple slipping out quite discreetly. His eyebrows rose as a puzzled look swept his features. Was that Victoire and her boyfriend... Mark, Mak, whatever his name was? Even though Victoire was with another man, there was no reason for Teddy to be rude. He raised his hand slowly as a small smile appeared on his lips, but his smile quickly fell as Victoire was rushed the other way by her partner. Teddy quickly stuffed his hands back into his pockets, a bit wierded out. Had Victoire already told her boyfriend about Teddy? The guy already seemed to hate him.

Matt felt his temper flare just a little as she mentioned being civil towards the man who'd hurt her so badly. "And I suppose if Lex happened to show her face in school, you'd be a whole bowl full of plesantness." he muttered under his breath again. he sighed. "Fine. Have it your way, introduce us if you must. Just don't be shocked if I get expelled for kicking the living crap out of a professor." He said to her. He didn't particularlly want to meet Lupin, but he wanted to make her happy. And if that would do so, he'd suffer the displeasure of talking to the pompus git.

Victoire bit her lower lip as Matt mentioned Lex, knowing that he was right. "I see your point," She began, "But we need to give this a chance." Sighing, she steered him back in the opposite direction towards Teddy, who seemed to be readying to enter the Room of Requirement. "Teddy," She called, "I'd like to introduce you to someone." She bit her lip once again, wondering how both of the men would react.

Teddy had been about to go through the door of the Room when he heard Victoire call his name. Turning his head, he saw Victoire, a slightly embarrassed smile on her painted lips, and a rather irritated male with his arm wrapped tightly around her. Teddy took his hands away from the door and forced a smile onto his own face, one devoid of the awkwardness that he felt. "Good day," He spoke to them both.

"This is my boyfriend, Matt," Victoire began, he eyes travelling to see Matt's tense expression. "And Matt," She began, "This is Teddy." She forced the smile to stay planted on her lips, for fear of worsening the already odd situation.

Teddy stuck out a hand in greeting, wondering if Matt would take it. "Nice to meet you," He spoke, nodding. His eyes travelled over to a noticeable purple spot near Victoire's collarbone. Victoire, noticing his wandering eyes, quickly took a hand to her hair to cover Matt's mark.

"Charmed." Matt said, keeping one hand on Victorie's hip, and the other firmly jammed in his pocket. He looked the older male up and down, noting that he was slightly taller then the other. He wasn't about to shake his hand, or give him the pleasure of seeing how quickly his nerves and temper were unravling. "So what brings you here, Lupin. Couldn't they find someone a little more experienced?" He asked casually, with a hint of annoyance(OOC: Think Malfoy talking to Hermione... I didn't know how to describe it!).

Al, after having left Aly and Jay to finish their discussion, went back into the great hall to find Rose, or Victorie. He spotted the red-head not too far down the Gryffindor table, and walked towards her with a smile. He sat down across from her and rested his elbows on the table. "So, how was you're chat with Kyle? I saw you guys talking... anything interesting happening?" He asked with a sly smile.

Victoire remained silent, letting the two chat. If interference was needed, then she knew how to quickly break up a fight. Her pulse quickened, not feeling to comfortable as Matt's words seemed to ooze venom, which irked her slightly. She loved Matt, but Teddy had amended for his sins somewhat and didn't deserve to be barked at.

Teddy let his hand fall, his smile falling in unison as he brought his hand back to his side. This guy seemed too big for his britches. Teddy looked him up and down, noting the ripped and frayed attire, the tattoos, the piercings, and the arrogant look on his face. Victoire really had lowered her standards. "I'm about as experienced as the next guy," He answered cooly, raising an eyebrow at the sarcastic student. Her crossed his arms over his chest before beginning again, "And I assume that Victoire couldn't find someone of higher standards?" He almost instantly regretted the words as they slipped out of his mouth, but Teddy couldn't help it. This piece of scum had no right to be putting his vile hands on her. A bit of his former instinct, with a bit of brotherly compassion, welled up inside of him.

"I'm about as high up there as you can get." He said, watching the other look his appearence over. "Don't judge a book by it's cover, Lupin. I'm a Tuck." He snickered to himself, wondering how naieve this sap really was. Clearly, he had no idea who his father was. Or who he was for that matter. It would only take one false move, and a quick owl to his father to have Lupin sacked. His hand continued to rest on her hip, pulling her in closer to his side, showing the other that she was his now. And no matter what Lupin said or did, he'd never give her up.

"I see..." Lupin placed a hand on his chin in as he pretended to ponder, looking Matt up and down once more. Teddy had heard of the Tucks but had never paid much attention. Being raised amongst the Potters and Weasleys had taught him that blood status and money meant nothing compared to loved ones and family. "But don't doubt my authority, Tuck," He began, his tone threatening, "One false move and you're sure to get expelled."

Victoire spoke rather quickly, "Enough." She had spoken with authority in her voice, not sure of whom to direct her venom at. "No need to act like first years fighting over a chocolate frog." She spoke, embarrassed for them both. But it hurt to know that Teddy could expel Matt, could take him away from her if Teddy ever had the whim to do so. "I think we're done here." And with that, she quickly steered Matt in the other direction, heading towards the dungeons.

"Lovely to make your acquaintance," Teddy called, his voice full of arrogance as the couple made their way along the corridor. He turned back to the Room of Requirement, his temper flaring as he went along with his business.

"One false move, and my father'll have your job." Matt replied, before Victorie had the chance to step in. The tone of her voice cut him deeply, and the force in her grip was almost painful. He chose to say nothing as she spoke, and walked off with her. But at the other man called out to him, his already raging temper flared again, and it took every ounce of willpower he had not to turn around and punch the 'professor' in the face. He tore his arm from Vic's grip and stopped in a deserted corridor. He turned to face her, blue eyes icy with rage. "Oh brilliant move." He said, chest rising and falling as he breathed deeply to calm his nerves. "Sure, put me up even higher on the list of students to get expelled. It's not bad enough that I've missed more time then I'm actually in the building because of my tour schedual, and that I've been in more fist fights then the entire student body could count on both hands. Now a preofessor has a personal grudge against me, because I'm dating his ex. Lovely!" he turned from her and dragged his hands through his hair. "I swear to god, if he even thinks about expelling me, I'll have my father down here so fast he won't know what hit him." He grumbled, hands on his hips as he paced the stone floor of the dungeons. And then he heard music. Kyle... and someone else. Playing guitar. He walked a little farther down the hall to the music room and pushed the door open. "Lex." He snapped.

Lex snapped her head around, seeing Matt there, alone. No blonde bimbo following him around... No one but him. She smiled. "Heya." She said, laying his guitar down. Something in his eyes said he was not in a particularly good mood. And his body language said he was ready to hit something. She was always able to read him like an open book. And it was clear to her right now, that she should not be there. "I was just talking with Kyle... And was about to leave." She said, slowly approaching him. She still didn't see Victorie standing not too far off down the hall.

Matt glared. "I see." He said, a little too calmly. "Perhapse that's a good idea... You leaving." His already terrible mood had gotten worse at her appearence in a room that was supposed to provide relaxation to him.

Victoire let him rant, knowing that this was the only way for him to let off steam, besides playing music. She followed him silently down to the music room and stopped when she heard Matt speak a name... her name. What was she doing down here? Victoire felt her own temper flare almost immediately, her veela blood beginning to boil as she tried to cage her emotions. Just breathe, She mentally chanted as she approached the doorway. Entering the room, she didn't know what to say. Lex looked forlorn, Kyle looked confused, and Matt looked as angry as ever.

Lex had been about to leave the room when she spotted the blonde just behind Matt. "You brought her here?" She said, voice starting to quivver. "You brought her to OUR place?" She looked up at Matt, then over to the blonde as tears welled up in her eyes.

"There is no us, or our, anymore Lex. You made sure of that when you ripped my heart out." Matt replied as calmly as he could. "Just leave."

"Fine." She said, psuhing past him. Instead of walking farther down the hall, she stopped infront of the blonde, and looked her up and down with her bright green eyes. She arched a eyebrow at the light cotton summer dress, and sandals. "How in the hell did you manage to land Matt Tuck? You're the farthest thing from his type I've ever seen." She tossed her long purple-y blue hair over her shoulder and walked on again.
