A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Matt looked up when she spoke. "I'm not a child who needs his mother to sleep beside him to ward the dream-deamons off." He said moodily. "If I were tired, I would have slept." He sighed and shook his head. Great, now not only did she think him mad, but she was treating him like a damned child. "You don't need to baby me like this, Vic. I can take care of myself." Even in this sorry state. he added silently. He adverted his eyes from her once again, and lay down his fork, deciding that perhapse eating today was not such a great idea.

Kyle laughed quietly. "Tell me about it. I havn't seen Matt for more then five minutes since we got on the train." He replied, taking a sip from his glass of milk. He glanced down the table at his brother again, who was looking quite moody. His hood was up, and shockingly enough, he wasn't eating. "I think there's trouble in paradice." he said to her quietly, watching the way Victorie was reaching out to Matt, who seemed withdrawn. "Think it has something to do with their ex's showing up?" He asked. Matt told him nothing the night before, or even while they talked before breakfast. Perhapse she'd spoken with Victorie, and could shed some light on why Matt was a total wreck.

Victoire withdrew her hand ever so slightly, pulling it away and back onto her lap after a moment of silence had passed. Why was he acting this way? Victoire simply wanted him to be better, to feel happy once more. But it seemed as if he was in no proper state at the moment. Victoire, slightly hurt, picked up her goblet once more and took a small, slow sip. "I'm sorry," She murmured monotonously, her eyes glued to the tabletop as she didn't want to see the moody expression on his face. Her shoulders hunched ever so slightly as the silence continued, feeling a bit more reserved than usual. Victoire knew that she shouldn't have let Matt's mood affect hers, but she couldn't help it. It was bad enough that he had been upset before, but it added to the negativity once he had snapped at her.

Matt sighed, looking back up at her. "No, I am. I'm sorry I snapped at you." He said gently. "Please, don't get like that with me." He looked over at her, eyes slightly pleading with her. This is how it all had started with Lex. First came the bickering. Then the arguing. Then the moodyness and tension. Then the inevetable huge battle that'd end it all. That he couldn't go through again. He looked away from her once more, knowing that begging wasn't going to get him anywhere.

Victoire sighed, looking up at him rather reluctantly. "It's alright," She spoke softly, quickly grabbing her goblet and taking another sip of orange juice. Victoire knew that he hadn't meant to be so harsh; anyone, including herself, could be irritable without a good night's sleep. But part of her felt as if her mood hadn''t simply stemmed from his lack of sleep. She turned her head to see Kyle and Rose having breakfast with each other, and she smiled softly. Did they realize how adorable and innocent they looked together? Hopefully their day was starting off much better than her and Matt's had.

Teddy strolled into the Great Hall through the back staff entrance. He took a seat at the staff table, smiling as he saw Rose with her mystery man. Teddy had forgotten his name, but no matter. He would introduce himself soon enough. And as he drew his gaze further down the table, he noticed Victoire with, presumably, her man. Had that been the lad who had stared him down this morning? He couldn't tell, as the bloke had his hood pulled over his head. But Victoire definitely didn't look too peachy, or keen on being in his presence. Teddy gazed on as she swirled her goblet around before forcing himself to look away. Victoire was grown-up and could take care of herself, no ex interference needed. Besides, what "acquaintance," such as himself, would randomly step in and save a damsel from an irritable breakfaster?

Matt frowned, knowing that she didn't really mean it. He reached over and took the goblet from her hands, and linked his fingers with hers. "Can we just go back to this time yesterday, before all this nonsence happened? When we weren't at each other's throats?" He said softly, trying to smile. "Remember yesterday afternoon? Us... Together... In the Room of Requirement... Alone?" He said, his eyes lighting up ever so slightly as finally, good memories came back. "Remember how content we were just being us? Why don't we just push past this whole Lupin and Alexandria thing, and go back to being like that." He said, glancing over at his twin and Rose. The pair seemed to be all smiles and chattyness. Hopefully something good was going on in that neck of the woods...

Victoire locked eyes with him as a small smile curved on her painted lips. "I'd love nothing more," She replied, her eyes twinkling just the same as a few memories pervaded her mind. It had just been rattling, how both of their exes had 'coincidentally' appeared out of the blue, how they both had gone on emotional rollercoasters within such a short time. Sighing softly, she squeezed his hand as her gaze traveled down the table. "At least one good thing has come of the past twenty-four hours," She chuckled ever so slightly as she witnessed the exchange between the ginger and the blonde. "Maybe they didn't need our assistance after all to get together."

"I'd like to think we had a part in it... Were it not for us getting together, and leaving the pair alone, he'd never have gotten to chance to talk to her." He said with a smirk. "Think he's told her how he feels yet?" He asked, looking back to Victorie. There, that was better. She was smiling, and her eyes were shimmering again. That alone lifted his mood just that little bit. He pulled her hand across the table and placed a kiss to the back of it. "Did you have plans with her and Al later?" He asked, not seeing Al around, and Rose seemed to be preoccupied.

"True," Victoire smirked, her ego inflated ever so slightly. Maybe he was right, but what did it matter? The pair seemed to be headed in the right direction. Victoire wasn't sure how long it would take for them to reach the heights that Matt and Victoire had, but that didn't matter. As long as Rose and Kyle were happy together, then it was fine. "Plans?" Victoire had to laugh, a bit of irony tinged to her tone. "I haven't spent much time with them since the start of the term. Rose is always studying, and Al..." She trailed off, "He does what he pleases. But at least he hasn't been badgering me lately. I doubt I'll have a word with them until the Christmas holiday."

Matt nodded with a shrug. "From what I hear Al's dating Alyss now. Then again, who really trusts the word of a Ravenclaw fifth year." He said casually, looking around the hall. "Well, if you don't have anything planned, did you want to go hang out by the lake or something? Something tells me that the Room of Requirements wouldn't be such a good idea, not in the situation we're in anyway..." He said, looking back to her again. Lupin had come back into the hall, and it was taking every fiber of his moral being not to waltz up there and punch the 'professor' in the face.

Victoire shrugged. "She's alright. I've never really had a conversation with her, but she seems fine." Al and a Slytherin together? Eh, anything seemed possible now. She pursed her lips at his next statement, not exactly peachy keen about their situation. "Whatever you'd like," She replied, not exactly sure of where she'd like to go. "The lake, maybe the forest, anywhere is fine with me." She shrugged, indecisive. Victoire noticed how Matt's hand had tightened on hers as Teddy had taken his seat. His protection was endearing, but a part of her wished that they could somehow get along; maybe not be buddies or anything of the sort, but perhaps polite acquaintances. They hadn't met just yet, so their relationship was yet to be determined.

Matt felt her distance, even though she was trying her best to hide it, anf felt his heart sink lower in his chest again. It seemed Lupin's appearence was changin her. Yes, it had changed him a fair amount too, but she was being somewhat colder then she used to be towards him. Before, she was always all smiles and laughs, and there was a constant light in her eyes that seemed would never fade. But now, she was back to the girl he'd known her as before the party. Cool, uncaring almost, and most of all, not into him. Perhapse Teddy'd said something to her before he'd come along, and she now wished to return to him. He wouldn't stop her, if that was what she wanted, even if it would send him into another downward spiral, as Lex had. He sighed, and finished off his goblet of juice, eyes looking back to the table. He just wished there was something he could do, to make her go back to how she used to be...

Victoire noticed his silence and took it for indecisiveness. "Or," She began, "We could do something better, unconventional. Something illegal, perhaps?" Her eyes lit up at the thought as she attempted to bring Matt back to life. Not that they had not technically committed an academic wrongdoing the previous afternoon, but that was of no consequence. Her head tilted to the side as a small smile played on her lips. She tried to gauge his reaction. Would Matt Tuck, true to his reputation, be ready and willing to raise some hell? Or would he stay solemn and take the mature route?

Matt heard the hint of deviousness in her voice, and found himself perk up a little. "Illegal, hmm?" He said, thinking about various items stashed in his trunk in his dorm. "You know I can't say no to illegal... But just how so are you willing to get?" He said, as he arched an eyebrow. What he was planning could land them both out of school, and in muggle prison, should they get caught. Though, it was a good bit of fun, especially if things happened to go the same way as the previous afternoon. He glanced over to Kyle again, hoping he wouldn't mind Matt not sharing with him. Then again, when was the last time Kyle offered. He pouted a little and turned his eyes back to Victorie.

Victoire's smile widened as he seemed to be interested. "As much as you are, mon amour," She answered with a smirk. Merlin only knew what Matt had up his sleeve, but it would definitely be something good. She noticed Matt glance down at his twin and laughed softly. "We can include Kyle next time. I need you to show me the ropes first." If only Rose or (especially) Al knew what Victoire was getting herself into; he would probably crucio her then and there. But at the moment, Victoire could care less. She was more than ready for a bit of illegal fun. Conventional pasttimes were beginning to bore her, anyways.

Matt laughed darkly, as she said she's get into all the trouble he would. "Alright then..." He said, glancing around to make sure there were no professors around. "Meet me at the enternce to the RoR in about twenty minutes. I've got to run down to my dorm to pick something up, and then to the kitchens." He said, standing up from the table. Things were going to get rather interesting, and at the mention of including Kyle, he laughed once more. "He's just hog it all anyway." He said with a smirk, knowing she probably had no idea what he was talking about. "Twenty minutes. RoR. K?" His smirk turned to a devilish smile.

Victoire nodded, taking a look over her shoulder to see if anyone had been watching or listening. And none had. "Alright," She took the back of his hand and gave it a kiss before she let go, standing and smoothing out the wrinkles of her dress. "Don't be late." She laughed softly, mischievously, before she turned to leave. Wouldn't it look suspicious if both of them left at once? Victoire would simply head out to the grounds, the library, anywhere that she could pass a small amount of solitary time before she was due to be in the Room of Requirement. She pondered whatever Matt could desire from his trunk in the dorms.

Matt smirked, watching as she walked out of the room. He left a minute later and headed down to the dungeons, and into the slytherine common room. No one was there, perfect. He slipped into his dorm and unlatched his trunk, grabbed his book-bag and began searching his trunk for a certian book. He found it at the bottem, stuck it in his bag, and closed his trunk with a smirk. Then her headed to the kitchens, and tickled the pear. After entering, several house elves approached. "Think you guys could get me some snacks?" He asked. They nodded in unison and headed off, returning a minute later with bags of chips, popcorn, chocolates, and various kinds of fruit. "Thanks guys!" He said, getting them to put their items in the book bag as well. He then left once more, heading up to the room of requirements. If a professor asked, he was meeting Victorie for a romantic picnic, and she was in her dorm changing. He looked up and down the hall, waiting for her, with a devilish smirk in his face.

Victoire had spent a few minutes in the library before leaving, having pretended to peruse the books. If anyone would have asked why she of all Weasleys was there, she would have said that Rose had asked her to find a novel for use, Most Potente Potions. But thankfully, no one had made an inquiry. She skipped off to the seventh floor, smiling as she saw Matt with a full bag in his hands. "Long time, no see," She teased, trying to take a peek into his bookbag. Looking over her shoulder, she turned back to him and began, "What did you have in mind?" Victoire hated being kept in the dark about anything, and it was making her a bit anxious as she wondered what Matt had planned.

Al finished up his breakfast, still not seeing any sign of Alyss. He stood from the table and made his way out of the hall, thinking that perhapse she was gossiping among friends in the entryway. He was not so plesantly suprised to see her walking towards the hall with Jay Kelley, Slytherine quidditch captian. But none the less, he forced a smile and walked towards them. "Good morning, love." He said cheerfully, slipping his arm around her waist in an attempt to sent Jay the 'back off, this one's mine' message. "Kelley." He said with a nod in greeting, before turning his attention back to Alyss. "Sleep well?" He asked.

Alyss smiled as she saw Al. She must have been running really late, but she forgot about everything as she saw him. Leaning into his touch, she couldn't really hide her smile. "Morning yourself," she replied as she leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Actually, it was probably the best sleep I've had in a weeks. How about you?" she asked. She usually never felt like this after a first date, but she felt different than before and she kind of liked it. Looking back to Jay, she shrugged as she leaned more into Al. "So have you seen Meg? I kind of need to talk to her about things."

Al smiled as she leaned into him even more, and felt a little smug, knowing that she'd chosen him over Jay or any of the other guys in the school. "I slept just fine, actually." He replied, giving Jay a small, cocky smirk.

Alyss smiled and looked back up at him. "That's good," she said as she noticed the tiny smirk on Al's face. She had a feeling what it was about, but she let it go. She would let him have this. She did choose him over her normal guy and maybe everyone, starting with her own friends, needed to see that she wasn't completely what they all thought her to be.

Rose laughed. "Perhaps..." she said looking over at her cousin and then to Teddy. "I'm sure things are fine though. Victorie is a strong girl. And when they broke up, they broke up for good."

Meg strolled into the Great Hall sporting her new Slytherin green outfit. She immediately spotted Aly and headed over. "What do you think?" she asked showing it off. She only then noticed the presence of Potter. Seriously? A Potter, here? Oh, Aly had some explaining to do.

Speak of the devil.....Alyss simled as she noticed her best friend in her new outfit. "I like it, no I LOVE it," she smiled. Green looked great on Meg and she could so pass for a SLytherin too. "I should have worn my new Ravenclaw outfit," she pouted a little. It probably would have looked nice on her and with her standing next to Al, the red and blue would have looked cute together.
