A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.
Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...
Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.
We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...
This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.
You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.
Matt noted everyone as they entered. Both Weasley girls had arrived, looking just as smashing as ever. It was such a pitty that Victorie was such a snob... She was quite pretty. But far from his type. Megan had also arrived. Good grief... And already barking orders to the poor house elf. Again, pretty girl, but the pureblood status and money had clearly gone to her head. Last but not least was Jason, fellow Slytherine, and their quidditch captin. Matt gave him a quick nod in greeting a he passed by the twins. "You going out for beater again this year?" He asked his brother.
Kyle shurgged. "No idea really." He replied, pushing his hair from his face. "If they want me back, I'll go for it." He sighed, eyes wandering carelessly over the gathering crowd, until they fell on Rose. She'd only gotten prettier over the summer. He glanced away quickly, before she noticed, and looked back to his brother. "Are you, uh, funally going to join the team? You havn't played for the last two years... And honestly, you were the best Chaser we ever had.... And I'm not saying that because you're my brother."
"We'll sae what Mr.Kelley has to say about me playing for HIS team." He said, looking over at Jason. The two had never been close friends, not in the least. But they were civil, only because they were both in the same house. "I'd like to take it up again though." He commented, off-handedly.

Meg looked around. Her eyes rested on Jay, fellow pureblood. She wiggled her fingers in a wave in his direction.

Grasping her wand, she murmured through lipsticked lips, "Wingardium Leviosa," and her trunk levitated automatically. "Ah, it's so good to be of age," She grinned with satisfaction and led the way to the train. On the way to a compartment, she spotted none other than Megan. Jason looked at tuck twins as he passed heading for the train when Matt greeted him with a simple nod Jason responded with much of the same gesture once he wa past the twins he scowled slightly Matt and him had never really got along but being housemates they had learned to tolerate one another over the years.
Jason glanced around and caugt Meg giving him a subtle wave. He smirked back and gave her a flirty wink.

Rose cast the same spell on her trunk. It was technically start of the term, right? She followed Victoire onto the train.

Kyle followed, as always. "Of course." He muttered under his breath. Someone called out his name, and as he turned to wave and reply, he all but tripped over someone's trunk. "Hey, watch where you're- oh. Sorry." He said, looking up, and seeing it was Rose. "My apologies." He gave her a polite smile, before walking away again, blushing perfously.
Matt was trying to contain his laughter at his brothers blatent awkwardness. "Smooth..." He shook his head. "Seriously, If you TALK to her you might work your way in. Purebloods tend to stick together."
Kyle shook his head and heaved a sigh, walking down the last car of the train. He flopped down into an empty seat, and dragged his hads down his face. "Like a Gryffindor would go for one of us... Er... Me." He said, correcting himself. Many a gryffi had gone for Matt. Anyone in any house tended to lean towards his brother, which sucked big time for him. "Either way, not even going there."
Matt sighed. "Suit yourself." He shrugged and sat across from his brother.

Rose was nearly knocked over as her trunk collided with the back of her legs. "No problem" she said struggling to get back up. She looked to see who it was and was surprised that it had been one of the Slytherin twins. And then like that he was gone. Random.
"It's true, Spain can be so dreary sometime." Meg replied. She spotted her house elf get off the train and bow. It was such a pain that she wasn't allowed to bring her own house elf to school. The school ones were not quite so obedient.

Alyss stepped through the barrier onto Platform 9 3/4 with her new vintage Chanel sunglasses and purse in tow, along with some shopping bags. She did love shopping while in London and she always managed to get the fabulous things before the train departed.
Glancing around she soon spotted her house elf with her trunk levitated beside her and made her way over. "There you are Tinkey, take that to the usual compartment and these as well." she told the little house elf as she handed over her shopping bags. With a simple nod, Tinkey took the bags and levitated the trunk toward the usual compartment.
Lifting her sunglasses, she looked left and right for Meg. She did have so much to tell her about her summer. Craning her neck to look over all the moving bodies, she spotted what looked like Meg and Jay. Smiling to herself, she placed her sunglasses back on and walked over. "Hey you two."

Annabelle lived with her brother and parents in Bayou La Batre, until after her 7th birthday when her father was promoted and they had to move to London. Jason began school at Hogwarts shortly after his family moved. Annabelle, rearing to go, started three years later. They both spend part of their summers back in La Batre visiting his grandparents. She comes from a long line of Pureblood wizards and even though her parents have always seemed okay with him being friends with half bloods but they have firmly expressed that they expect him to marry a pureblooded witch and continue on the untainted family bloodline and talking to a muggle blood in his parents eyes is unspeakable. Annabelle doesn't really care for it, though, she thinks everyone should be equal. She is currently in her 4th year at Hogwarts.

Annabelle really just likes to have fun. Though, she does know how to knuckle down and study when the time calls for it. She's a fun-loving girl, and just loves to hang out, doing whatever, as long as she's not bored. That, she hates with a passion!

Background:
Selena is the first and only child of Kyall and Jacinta Hislop. She was born on March 12, in Perth, Western Australia. Both her parents are Healers, but moved around with their job, so Selena has seen a good majority of the world in her mere 17 years. Finally, just after Selena's 11th birthdaay, they settled in London, as her parents had both secured jobs at St Mungos.
Not long after they arrived, Selena received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. They were all extremely pleased, and she set off on her magical education not long after receiving her letter. The last 6 years have been the best of ehr life, sh's just hoping this one will be the same.

Selena's kind of... well innocent. She's never had a serious boyfriend, and she doesn't really know as much about anything as everyone else her age. Despite having travelled the world, she lived a very sheltered life with her parents. But now, it's time for her to grow up, in her eyes.

Oh, and a short message. "Make sure you don't leave your brother's side." They didn't want her to miss the train. Oh yeah... because she was likely to do THAT! But, annoying her brother seemed like a fun way to pass the time. She through her case on the train, then searched around for the burly guy she called Brother. Spotting him, she grinned, then walked over to him, and tugged on his sleeve.
"Sorry to interrupt..." she said to the girls he was talking... no flirting... with, then turned to Jay. "Mum told me not to leave your side." She grinned innocently up at him.
Selena walked behind her butler-of-sorts, as he wheeled her trolley onto the platform and to the train. Looking around, she couldn't spot anyone she particularly wanted to talk to. There was Jay Kelley talking to... she didn't know who they were... but everyone knew him... well... every girl did anyway. And, to be frank, he kinda disgusted her. She sighed, shrugging her shoulders and went to sit on a bench, nodding to the two guys sitting at the other end.

"Morning." Matt said to the girl, as she sat down. She looked somewhat familliar, but, being who he was, didn't keep track of names. She was pretty though. Not exactly his type, but pretty none-the-less. He gave her his typical, flirty-friendly smile and crossed his arms over his chest.

Selena looked up as one of the guys spoke to her. What was his name? She was usually really good with names... nopes... gone! "Morning," she murmured back, returning his smile. She crossed her legs casually and looked out at the people milling around the train. She grinned slightly at the younger girl seemingly drilling into Kelley's chest. It was funny to see someone actually having a go at him. Her eyes continued to scan the crowd, looking for someone to talk to. No one... as usual.

"I have to report to the prefect compartment soon, but I wanted to see you first. I have so much to tell you, plus I bought you something while I was on my shopping spree. I'm sure you'll love it, but Tinkey took it with my other bags." she smirked. "I'll just give it to you later, I guess."

Victoire turned in the train's corridor to see one of the Slytherin twins blushing as he turned away from Rose. Funny. Finding an empty compartment, she opened the door and strutted inside, releasing the spell from her trunk and stowing it away. Placing her wand on a leather seat, she turned and smirked at Rose, "I think tradition might be broken this year." Would Rose understand her cryptic words? Maybe, maybe not.
She turned to take a seat next to her wand by the window, waiting for her cousin to answer.

Kyle sat in their compartment near the end of the train, listening to his ipod, and singing along mindlessly. He wasn't really in the mood for conversation, especially now that he's made a total fool out of himself infront of the girl he was pretty well hung up on. He sighed and pulled out his sketch book, starting to sketch the scene on the platform as he saw it through the window, getting every detail.
It was close on eleven now, and soon, they'd be off on their way to their seventh and final year. Even though both boys knew very well that their futures held no minestry jobs, their parents insisted they finish school. Even if it ment missing out on big opertunities, like playing big concerts, and touring. He sighed, adding some shading to his drawing.
Getting fed up with his brothers anti-socialness, Matt got up from his seat and began hunting the train for people he knew. Whish was generally an easy task... Well, last year it had been. He'd always fell in with last years seventh-years. Now that they were all graduated, he had very few friends left in the school. He was still among the more popular, and most desired people in the school, but ti felt weird not having his friends, and band-mates around.He jammed his hands in his pockets and walked down the corridor.

Alyss smirked at her friend. "Boring yes, but I must keep up appearances if I want Head Girl next year. It's been way too long since a Slytherin has been Head Girl and I'm determined to get it. Plus, mother and father just added to my Gringotts account for getting prefect. I can deal with boring and mundane if I reap some reward from it." she explained before leaving. "I'll meet up with you later though," she yelled as she made her way through the crowd again.
Seeing Tinkey in the distance, she waved her off after seeing her things were safely on the train. Making her way onto the train, she noticed all the new students with looks of excitement and possible fear on their faces. Oh this was going to be a fun, she though as she walked passed compartment after compartment fulled with firsties. She did enjoy terrifying them, but that could wait until they all arrive at Hogwarts. Maybe a trip to the Forbidden Forest would do the trick or to the Greenhouse. She knew of some Devil's Snare that had been maturing and might want to have some fun. Laughing silently to herself, she walked into the Prefect Compartment and settled in to the seat beside the window. I do hope this won't take long, she thought. She did have other things to do before they got to Hogwarts and she did want to show off all the things she just bought in town.
Parker didn't have time to socialize. He was never one to socialize. Though he recognized some of his fellow seventh years, he glinded on past them and got onto the train. His focus was on Quidditch. He had been a reigning champ his 5 years he was on the team and he wasn't about to break their winning streak. As Ravenclaw Captain he made it his priority to make their team amazing. Parker quickly hopped onto the train and found an empty compartment in the back. He had his quill and parchment out of his satchel and was coming up with new plays for the upcoming year. He went to the Quidditch World Cup in Germany and picked up on a few things he had never seen before. He couldn't wait to try them out this year.

Seeing Tinkey in the distance, she waved her off after seeing her things were safely on the train. Making her way onto the train, she noticed all the new students with looks of excitement and possible fear on their faces. Oh this was going to be a fun, she though as she walked passed compartment after compartment fulled with firsties. She did enjoy terrifying them, but that could wait until they all arrive at Hogwarts. Maybe a trip to the Forbidden Forest would do the trick or to the Greenhouse. She knew of some Devil's Snare that had been maturing and might want to have some fun. Laughing silently to herself, she walked into the Prefect Compartment and settled in to the seat beside the window. I do hope this won't take long, she thought. She did have other things to do before they got to Hogwarts and she did want to show off all the things she just bought in town.

Meg laughed as Aly left. She was much more grade orientated then Meg was, which was funny, because Meg was the Ravenclaw. She looked back at Jay and Anna. She went ahead and boarded the train not bothering to wait for their answer. She passed mudblood fellow Ravenclaw Parker on the way. Although she didn't talk to muggleborns hardly ever him being the Quidditch Captain put him a rank above even most... well above most in general. She then remembered she had actually picked up a fancy playbook while she was in the United States over the summer for him. She ruffled through her bag holding the book and tapped on his door.

Matt strolled down the corridor a little more, spotting the Weasley girls in a compartment. He flashed a quick, heart-breaking smile, and continued on his way. The blonde he wouldn't mind... But he knew better then to go anywhere near the redhead... Rose? Yes. That was her Name. Kyle was always talking about her. He had to admit, his brother did go for the pretty ones. And with any luck, he'd get what he wanted. He felt bad sometimes, for his brother. Poor guy was too shy to speak up, and talk to a girl who he wasn't the best of friends with.
Kyle looked up from his drawing as the trains wistle blew loudly, and it slowly started to move forward. Sighing once more, he looked out the compartment door, and spotted Rose not three compartments away. He looked away again, Go figure, Matt was somewhere near her. He picked through his bookbag for a second, and pulled out his ipod dock, plugged his ipod in, and his play. He leaned back in his seat eyes closed, listend to one of his favorite songs. Hope by Apocalyptica. Suddenly, he wished he hadn't packed his cello away in the luggage car.
