On the day of July 26th is Hady's fifteenth birthday. After spending months planning it with her friend and fellow Snakette Maggie the day has finally arrived. It's a beautiful day with the sun shinning and the yard set with multicolored banners and streams as well as balloons in every color. Hady even made sure not to have to much green or silver around even though there was nothing wrong with a bit of house pride outside of Hogwarts!

The large in ground pool is just screaming for you to dive right in for a refreshing swim or float about on one of the floaties. Take a turn down the slide or sit under the small fountain or near the little waterfall. Whatever you decide just so you end up in the water at some point throughout the day.

Tables are laid out around the yard holding tons of food or drink both wizarding and muggle alike from cauldron cakes and chocolate frogs to pizza and chicken wings as well as pumpkin juice and sodas. Yes there's even fruits and veggies along with dips and cookies and candies too, so surely you could find something you like!

From somewhere unknown there's even music playing so dance the day away with a friend or on your own if you choose. Even if you can't dance get up and dance anyway it's all about having a good time.

Clearly it's a day to be enjoyed. Swim, eat, dance and hangout with friends. Afterwards feel free to remain for the for the sleepover either inside the house or outside under the stars. Sleepingbags will be supplied to anyone that may have forgotten theirs or that decided to stay last minute.

Awesome, she could join in!

Lux BEAMED. This was going to be a lot of fun and she was going to try her best to win the race though the most important thing was for everyone to have fun. Especially Hady since this was her birthday party. She happily made her way over to them, hearing what Adi said. "Pfft, the Chocolate Frogs are just an added bonus. I think YOU just want to eat them all," she joked as she playfully poked his belly. Giggle. She knew her bestie well.

A whole chocolate cake? Really? "Pfft. We get more than a quarter, right Hady? Especially because you won't win." So there!

Benny wasn't entirely aware of the staring contest Lux and Hady were having. Though he did hear the news of Lux joining in on the race. When the offer was extended to him and Frankie, he thought about it for a few moments before shaking his head. "I think I'll sit this out," he declined. He was just fine being in the water on the sidelines watching the happenings, even with Adi eying him.

He just rolled his eyes and moved to float, the dragon-like scales on his right side catching some of the sun as he particly surfaced amongst the rewards being raised to a whole chocolate cake. "Lucky me...and the headache I'll have later," he mused. If Adi wasn't careful and got too much of a sugar high, he was sleeping on the couch.

Chocolate frogs?! Come on, of course everyone wanted in on that! Really who didn't like them, huh? Hady wasn't big on chocolate anyone could tell you that (or maybe not maybe only Zeke could) but she did really ENJOY chocolate frogs! Um. She even had a collection of the cards upstairs in her room but away in her closet. Not that anyone would know that let alone see it unless she went up there and got them. Annnyyyyyhooowwww....

"Totally the reason I want her to join us Adi! That way it's us against you," Hady teased casting him a sweet smile before glancing to her other side and grinning at Lux. Right Lux? Two against one. Girls verse Adi. The odds were better that way.

Mentions of a whol cake though now had her laugh and shaking her head everywhere. "Nah uh, noway nohow! If you're lucky it'll be you getting some of OUR cake when we win!" Cue another innocent smirk there and a hand gesture between herself and her big sis. Plus the cake wasn't even chocolate. At least not fully. This ought to be really fun now.

Benny declining to join them was alright and Hady sent him a smile anyhow. He didn't have to race with them just so he was having a good time. The older boy might not be much of a talker but she liked him very much as a friend and even more because he was so special to her brother.

Hmph. TEASED mercilessly by the girl bestie as usual. And poked too! Adi patted his well in shape belly ~~it looked like sections of a Hershey bar LOL~~ "Out of shape is something I'll never be. Can't say the same for you though, mermaid.'' He stuck his tongue out at her before splashing some water in her direction.

Adi paused in mid splash, gaping dramatically and playfully at Lux and Hady. "But that's unfair!'' This earned Hady a splash as well. "Riiiiight! I'll be the one winning. I can take both of you on!'' Heheeee. "Then I'LL let you in on some of the cake.''

"You'll be missing out, Benny!'' But he nodded at his shy boyfriend ~~looking so foiiine shirtless as usual~~. Oh hey! Those scales were showing! Trying not to be distracted by them, Adi beckoned to Hady and Lux. "You guys ready?''

Awww, Benny was going to sit this one out. That was a shame. "Looks like you won't have your boyfriend to help you try and beat us," Lux told Adi with a smirk. Two against one wasn't equal, but this was girls against boys. Or, well... boy. "You tell him, Hady!"

They were going to wipe the floor with him.

"Oh whatever," she said as she splashed him back. "I won't ever be out of shape. I'm tinier than you!" So there. "I was born ready!"

It was so on.

Adi didn't stand a chance.

So maybe it was a bit 'unfair'.

In her defense though, she HAD asked Benny and Frankie if they'd like to join in. Heck she even asked everyone ELSE there. It was her fault no one was taking the bait and joining in on the fun. Lazy bunch of party poopers they were all being.

At the splashing of water in her face coming from Adi she of course retaliated with a bit of splashing of her own. Ha! "Dream on!" Hady laughed grinning brightly at both Adi and then Lux. There was noway they would allow him to win. A little competition never hurt.

"Oh, we're ready!" Count down anyone?

"Benny's going to help by making sure you girls don't cheat,'' Adi told Lux and tried dodging being splashed by the girl bestie and one of his many little sisters. They were going down! Just because he loved them meant he would go easy. Nuh uh!

Right! They were ready!

"Alright! On the count of three! One! Two! THREE!"

And with that, Adi pushed off from the wall, diving back into the water. Swimming wasn't something he did that often but it was still very easy getting himself on track and racing away with a satisfactory front crawl.

Adi was just jealous because he knew that they had more skill than him when it came to this racing thing. Besides, it wasn't as if the other boys hadn't been asked to join in on the fun. It wasn't their fault that Benny had no interest in it.

The countdown was beginning, so Lux got herself in perfect position to race. THEY HAD THIS IN THE BANK!! Game face on, she waited for the count of three before taking off. Hady was right behind her, yes?

CHEAT?!

Oh no he did not just say that! Hady gave her big brother another playful glare as she one again sent a splash of water his way. If anyone would be cheating it would be him because he knew he was about to lose to not one but two girls!

On the count of 'three' she pushed herself away from the edge of the pool swimming confidently through the water her eyes taking in her surroundings as she did. It was good to know where both Lux and Adi were at all times during this race.

The good thing about doing the front crawl was that every time he turned his head, he was able to see Hady and Lux so he could be able to tell if they pulled ahead or dropped back. Adi kicked his feet as fast as he could possibly could. He would show those girls... Hehe.

On and on he went until he could see the other end of the pool coming in fast. He was alllllmost there! Just a few more strokes and kicks and... HE MADE IT! Adi's left hand made contact with the pool's end. "I WON!'' he shouted, raising himself upright and shaking his head rapidly to clear water out of his eyes and hair. He probably showered the ones nearby with the water... WOOPS!

And he had no idea if he won or not. Haha.

There was certainly some trash talk being passed between the three competitors, as well as the splashing of water and for a second Benny almost reconsidered his choice so he could even it up. However his boyfriend had gotten himself into it so Adi was going to have to fend for himself against the girls. And if he didn't manage to beat them...oh well...his ego got a nice pin in it.

Benny did straight up however so he could watch, the lanky boy treading water so he didn't just stand on the bottom. "Go Adi!!" he cheered once they took off, awaiting the finish that seemed like it might be close at more than one point. The former Gryffindor swimming closer once he heard the familiar voice yelling about winning.

Had he?

Swimming was always a good time. She LOVED the water. Racing was fun but being competitive made it even more fun. The joking, laughing, splashing of water. It was great!

Continuing with her even strokes and kicking her legs in time she made her way steadily through the water. With each turn of her head she saw both Adi and Lux getting closer and closer to the other side of the pool. It was alright though, she was right there with them. Her hand reached out and smacked the edge of the pool only a second or two after her big brothers. He had won.

"Only cause you're twice as tall as me!," she teased playfully sticking her tongue out at Adi as she proceeded to splash him with more water.

Making even strokes and kicking her legs, Lux made her way steadily towards the other end of the pool. She had no idea where Hady was, but she could sense her nearby. Adi on the other hand... she had no idea where he was.

Except for the fact that he had apparently won.

"What Hady said!" Lux added with a giggle as she joined in splashing him with water. She could just see his head swelling even more and that wasn't something that she really wanted to see right now. Besides, she wanted to win one with her Snakette Sis especially for her birthday. "Okay, how about the best two out of three?" Unless they were too tired?

She, however, was excited to go again.

So Adi HAD in fact won the race and Benny clapped and whistled as he came up swimming besides the trio at the other end of the pool. Just in time to be absently splashed by the splashes and sprays of water that the girls were aiming at the winner in playful complaint of his win. Not that he minded it in the least, just shaking his head in response as if to get the water out of his hair.

Hearing what the girls said, he couldn’t help but chuckle at them. Yeah, because Adi was tall. That was exactly why he had won. Sure it was. “And you wanted me to join in…I am technically taller,” he remarked, adding a touch of jest into his tone. Only one inch taller than his boyfriend but it was there. So that would mean he had a chance to beat all of them by their theory...right?

Wiping water from her face Hady continued to laugh quietly. Of course Lux was agreeing with her on her strange reasoning for why Adi had won and this earned the big sis a large grin from her. She knew this was in fact NOT why the puffer had won the race at all but clearly she was just playing around.

At hearing Benny declare he was taller then Adi though only made her laugh all the more harder. If her 'theory' was correct then he would've been the winner had he joined in on their racing. Hady grinned at him before nodding at Lux. "I can go for that." Another race. She was even more determined to win this time around.

So he DID win!

Adi grinned, eyeing Lux and Hady and then turning to wiggle his brows in Benny's direction when hearing him cheer. Annnd now he was getting splashed again! He started laughing, instict telling him to throw up his hands in defense. Of course that didn't last long for he was splashing them back too. Yep, you also, Benny!

Wait... the best two out of three? "Sure! I'll crush you guys again thanks to my height,'' he joked then looked back at Benny. "Only by an inch! I could still beat you too!'' Hehe. Competitive much Adi? "You want to join us this time, Dragon?'' The more of them, the better the fun... and competition even if he ended up loosing.

"Whenever you guys are ready!'' Grim Reaper tattoo glistening on his left rib because of the water on his skin, he bobbed at the end of the pool, ready for another lap.

His teasing comment had elicited more laughter from Hady so it was all good. And then there was the talk of another race and Benny at first was considering repeating his earlier choice of simply being on the sidelines watching it. However when Adi was splashing him back as well as the girls and daring that he could win against him as well, his thoughts went in another direction. “Oh you think so…huh?” he mused with raised eyebrow watching the boyfriend before making his decision.

“You’re on…Griff,” Benny remarked, getting in place to ready himself as well. We would just see how this ended up.

HAHA! Lux loved how they were all going along with Hady's totally unlikely explanation for the reason that Adi had won.

"Oh, please," she said with an amused eye roll as his ego grew - just what she had expected to happen. Oops at Benny getting some splash damage, but he seemed to be okay; he was a big boy after all. "I kind of want to see a boyfriend vs. boyfriend match after this." Would this happen? Pleeeeeease say yes!!

At least Benny was joining them for this round.

Happily Lux got herself into position at the starting line. "Let's do this thing!" She was pumped.

In all the good naturered fun and splashing everyone seemed to be having a great time. Friends, laughter, sunshine, water and tons of food. What more could she really ask for? The day was going by wonderfully.

Hady beamed at them all not at all minding that they were just going along with her totally bonkers theory. Hearing Benny declare he was going to be joining them earned a happy shout from the brunette. "Awesome! So girls verse guys then, lets do this!" A large smile towards Lux cause this time they were so gonna take down those boys.

"Ooohhhh! I agree to this!" A Benadi race HAD to happen. Puppy dog eyes at both boys were happening. Come on guys what do you say? Please....for the birthday girl?!

Adi's ribbing had gotten Benny to join in! He was SUPER DUPER pleased about this. "I'll just beat you too.'' Cue his innocent smile at the boyfriend. And Lux! Hehe! She wanted him and Benny to race each other? Just look at Hady's face asking for the same thing... it was enough for Adi to agree. Anyway, he would do anything for her. Both girls, in fact. "I'm up for that if Benny is!'' Yep! Adi would still have a ton of energy for THAT race. Okay, maybe not a ton but he would have plenty left.

"Okay, you three ready?'' It seemed like everyone was in position. ''On three! One, two, THREE!"

Off he went!

Boyfriend versus boyfriend?

He had agreed to one race and now Benny found himself in two. It wasn't like he really had a choice as he raised an eyebrow at Adi in question. The two girls were excited about it and his other half was already a go. He'd have to cave lest get the heat about it. And he wasn't no coward. "Fine...I'm game...if Adi isn't too tired, " he remarked, adding jest to cover his relenting.

Benny nodded as Adi asked if they were ready, the former Gryffindor taking a floating stance as he awaited the countdown. One...two...three...Go! The newcomer taking off in the water with his own strokes moving him along.

It seemed as if both boys were up for going against each other in a race, though Lux felt that she could detect a bit of hesitation on Benny's part. Seemed that he wasn't AS enthusiastic about it as Adi had been, though of course he was still game for it. "Wonderful! You had better not fall asleep in the middle of it," she teased, going off of what Benny had just said.

As the countdown began, Lux braced herself to kick and when the THREE sounded she propelled herself from the wall. Kicking like crazy, she wasn't going to let the boys win this round; it would be for her and Hady.

"I WON!" she called out as her hand touched the wall. Had she though?

They were all so funny! Adi, Benny and Lux each in their own ways. It was just one of the many reasons she loved the three of them like she did. Everything was always kept playful and happy. They could make her laugh, make her smile, turn a horrible day upside day and Hady didn't know what she would do without them all.

Grinning and ready for another race Hady took her position between Adi and Lux taking off across the pool when THREE was called out. This time she wasn't so much about winning or paying attention to where anyone else was. Nah she was just enjoying the water. All to soon Lux called out that she had won and Hady had to lift her head to see if it was so. She thought the red head had won but the boys were also rather close.

Swim, swim, swim!

Swim like a fish! Hehe. But in Lux's case, she would be swimming like a mermaid. He could see the others alongside him every time he turned his head from left to right and sometimes, he thought he glimpsed Lux a little a head of him. It didn't worry him. The three he was racing with were persons whom he didn't mind loosing to.

His hand slapped the other side of the pool about two seconds after Lux announced she had one. Bobbing in the pool and shaking his head to get water out of his hair, he shouted back. "No fair! You used that fishtail of yours! We don't have any!'' LOLLL. As if Lux had any fishtail. Adi looked over at Benny then at Hady. "I think Lux got this round.'' Unless, of course, either of them others had gotten there before her.

He kept a good pace with his fellow swimmers, and was the most refreshed since he hadn’t raced the previous race. However it wasn’t enough for Benny to win here, with or without his height. Lux’s voice yelling she won was only vaguely heard through the water splashes as he settled after stopping himself at the edge of the pool when he was done. “Yeah, I think she did,” the dragon absently agreed as he got some water out of his ears before turning his attention to the girl in question.

“Congrats…Mermaid Lux,” Benny remarked with a smile. It appeared he and the birthday girl were the off people out in their luck. Though it was all in good fun so it wasn’t like it mattered all that much. Just teasing among friends.
