"Hullo," Jackie said to the boy,appearing by the old historical mansion. Supposedly, it had a secret story to it, and she was going to find it out. She smiled everso slightly and fixed the pins on her jacket, readjusting them to fit her sometimes perfectionist needs.

Ooc: Actually, they're suppossed to be on an abandoned street, going to the mansion once everyone was there.

Orion opened his eyes with a jerk, pulling his hands out of his pockets and blinking at the girl that just.. appeared. He didn't like to do magic, even though he was half-wizard, and he found out that they weren't allowed to do magic on the investigation. He was perfectly fine with that, since magic didn't matter to him anyway.

He took in the girl, then closed his eyes again, nodding his head slightly at the girl. "Hello," he said softly, not sure if she heard him. He didn't care if she heard him or not, though, if she didn't, she'd think he was rude or something for not answering, and that'd be bad. He opened his eyes again, looking at her reaction, to see if she heard him or not.

Cami walked down the abandoned street and wondered what she got herself into. Then she saw two other people already there. Quickly she walked towards them. "Hi." She said looking at them. "I'm Cami." She offered her hand to them and tried to be friendly. She was usually a shy person, but wanted people to like her. She smiled faintly.

Orion wasn't really surprised anymore that more people were coming. He figured that these people were part of the "Hoxac Group" and, even though they were late, they were showing up now. He got up from leaning against the dirty, falling-apart wall, then dusted the back of his shirt off, turning around to the new person, then offering his hand out to shake.

"Orion," he said, nodding at Cami. He knew that he would be sounding dumb, but said it anyway. "Are.. you two..here for the Hoxac Mansion?" He looked at Cami and Jackie, thinking that they were. The strange guy that told him about the group asked him if he would round up everyone, bringing them to the mansion when everyone came. Orion agreed, and he needed to get it straight on who was for the group and who wasn't. Though, not many people wandered down abandoned streets for nothing.

"Yes." said Cami smiling a bit. "Its nice to meet you Orion." She said as she looked around her surroundings, becoming a bit frightened at the enivroment she was in. It wasn't everyday she went into an abandoned street, not knowing anyone there. Although it wasn't everyday she went to a haunted mansion either.

Elizabeth pulled her cloak around her more tightly, shuddering against the cold. She walked briskly up the the road. She was late - she hated being late. Squinting her eyes, she could see two or three people already gathered. Well, she thought, at leat I wont be last.
Her hand felt for her bag, full of research was still there, and then for her wand. She knew they couldn't use magic, but it was still reassuring to have her wand with her, just in case, she felt naked without it.
She was getting closer to them now, she could hear them. She took a deep breath, the icy air cascading into her lungs.
"Hello." she said quietly. "I assume you're all here for the Hoxac Mansion? I'm Elizabeth Collins."

"Hi, I'm Jackie," She replied, chewing on her lip. "Yuh, I'm here for the Hoxac Mansion"

ooc: hey guys! Eevee asked me to join so that's what I'm going to do! I'll just elaborate the profile for the character and then I'll post it here, okay?

Elizabeth shook Jackie's hand and looked around at the small group. Surely this wasn't everyone.
"Are there more to come?" She asked. "I take it you've all read up on the Mansion." she said somberly.
she spied a young man of about her own age, he seemed somewhat familiar, though she had no idea why.
She turned her attention back to the other two women.
"I brought everything I could find on the Mansion, there's not that much to go on, but it still makes for intersting reading. The stories are, colourful to say the least, but the details are sketchy at best."
She fell silent, the blustering wind blowing her hair about her face.

Nicholas walked briskly down the street. He had been told by an old professor of his that he was to meet his fellow search-party members here. The street seemed rather deserted looking, like something out of an old western, but he didn't let that bother him. The whole thing sounded like fun, and a break from the ordinary. I mean, quidditch was fun too, but the magic starts to go away once you have 6 hours of practice everyday.

As he drew closer to the group, he realized that he only recognized one of them...Orion, an old friend of his from school. They hadn't talked in a while, but Nicholas remembered him to be a forgiving kind of guy, so he figured it would be allright. The other 3 were attractive looking women...something Nicholas was sure would be a plus side to the whole unattractive situation that lay ahead of him.

"Hello lovelies." He said, once he was within ear's reach. "Would this just so happen to be a bunch of unluckies destined to spend god-knows-how-long in a haunted mansion with an evil dark lord? Because if it is, than i'm in the right place"

Elizabeth stared at him as if he had two heads.
"Lovelies?" she shook her head and laughed, taking in the man standing before them. He was definitely confident, there was no doubt about that, a little too much so.
"I don't think there's going to be anything lovely about this."
Then she did a double take.
"Hang on, don't I know you from somewhere?" she asked, studying his face.

Urgh! As normal, when Ineed to be on time, I run late. Oh well, I need to make sure Carolina is ok, as normal as Orion knows that. I'm not going to drop one of my best friends. This were the thoughts that ran through Noira's head as she put her wand on the inside of her black knitted knee-length cardigan. She pulled it closer to her body as she moved to stand next to Carolina. "All set Carolina?"

Smiling, she placed one hand on each of her friends hips and apparated the pair to the almost deserted street. She took one of her friends hands and gave her a friendly hug. "Ready?" She whispered before turning around and looking at the small group.

Her eyes surveyed each of them, standing in the alley, long hair flying in every direction possible. Her eyes picked out the only two people she knew going to help with this investigation apart from Carolina. The male in 'charge' and with perfect reason. She knew this, and wouldn't question anybody for putting him in charge. The other person she knew was nineteen your old Elizabeth. She nodded her head to the two, but stayed silent.

Orion watched as more people come. He recognized Nicholas, and Noira, giving her a big smile as she showed up. He nodded an hello to Nicholas, then blinked as a girl [ Elizabeth ] about his age started talking about the stories about the Mansion. He listened quietly, then shook his head as she finished. "..Those stories don't say half of what happened at the Mansion," he said quietly, instantly regretting what he just said. He went quiet, then looked around, taking in everyone. He figured that a few more people would come by. He stretched out his hand to Elizabeth, for her to shake it. "I'm Orion," he said, giving her a small smile, as if apologizing for what he said about the stories.

ooc: your welcome! I just warn you, this guy might probably suck, and if I end up saying Teresa did this then it's because it's my 1st time as a guy (except for once when I was Harry )

Jonathan walked on an abandonned street. Down there he could see a little group of people. That was, certainly, the "Hoxac Group". He didn't know who they were, there were no names given, maybe he would find someone he knew, from school probably.
'Hello' he said politely to the group when he reached them. 'Jonathan Williams, at your service' He them a little smile. Then he scanned the people. He immediatly recognized three of them, Nicholas Delacy (same year as him), Cami Jacinto (same house, a year before) and Elizabeth Collins (same year). The rest of them, he was sure he had seen in Hogwarts but didn't remember them. He gave a nodd and a smile at each of the three showing that he still remembered who they were.

"Hi Jonathan!" Cami said smiling. Then she looked at the new girl and boy. She smiled at them and nodded her head at each of them. She was a little shy around so many people. She only recognized Jonathan out of the bunch. She shivered slightly as she listened to them talk about the mansion. A cool breeze hit her face and she got goosebumps.

ooc: hmmm... noone knows Jackie... eh well, more fun for me, i suppose.

"That would be us, I believe," Jackie replied to Nicholas, smirking once more.

Nicholas shrugged. "You might know me. You look a little familiar...did you go to hogwarts?" More people had shown up as well, a few more he recognized. "Hey, what's up?" He said to the new arrivals. He shoved his hands in his pockets from the cold. It was 'effin freezing outside. "So what's the story here? Are there more coming, or is this it?" He asked Orion, who seemed to be the one in charge here at the moment.

Orion looked around again, silently counting the people in his mind. He gave a nod to Jackie, to show that he knew she was there. He nodded at Nicholas, then said, "Yes. I do believe that more people are coming." He glanced around again, pulling his shirt closer to his body since the wind was getting rougher. "Before we leave, though, does everyone know why we're going and some of the "stories" behind the Hoxac Mansion?" He paused after the word "stories" putting a little more exaggeration on the word, then finished the sentence.

Elizabeth took Orion's hand. He had a firm grip.
"Elizabeth Collins. Nice to meet you." She studied his face, he almost seemed older than his years.
"So the Mansion has more to it than we know. I thought as much, my research, what little I managed is just so vague, most of qwwhat I had to go on were wild tales from dotty old villagers." she looked at Orion closer.
"What do you know?" she asked quietly, uncertain whether or not she really wanted an answer.

'Hogwarts, yes. I believe we were in the same year. I was in Gryffindor' Jonh answered Nicholas. Then he turned to Cami. 'How many times have I got to tell you to call me John? Jonathan makes me seem old' He smiled at her.

"Oh yeah, so sorry." Cami said smiling. Then she turned around to Orion. "I've heard some stories." She said casually and shoved her hands in her coat pocket to try to warm them up.

"Heck, i'm not gonna lie, i don't know anything." Nicholas said. It was the truth mostly...all he knew is that he was invited to go spend a few days at the house of a dark lord with a bunch of other people. Following up on 'dark lords' wasn't necessarily one of his hobbies. In fact he could barely figure out why he was invited, although he was starting to get some kind of idea...

Orion nodded at Cami, then started, "I think most of you heard about how the place was haunted.. I'm.. not so sure that anyone knows the whole truth. Including me," he said, lying slightly, but keeping his face expressionless. "The Professor told me to get everyone together and to bring you guys to the Mansion once we were all here. He also asked me to tell some of the stories along the way.. since.. I grew up with the stories," he finished, not adding anymore. He turned to Elizabeth, his hand already back at his side. "Pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Collins," he said politely, then added, "I.. only know as much as you do. Perhaps a tad bit more details," he finished, his face expressionless again.

"I've only heard bits and pieces, tell tale old stories, or fables, rather, and mysterious vanishings," Jackie replied. She had read a book about mansions which had the Hoxac mansion in it and a newspaper clipping dating to around 88 years before.
