&&BACKGROUND
Hundreds of children have attended Hogwarts. Although many stay throughout the whole year, there are some who do not. They are known as Echos. Simply because they apply and reapply and ect. These kids have issues with their home life, whether it be parents getting sick, going to Azkaban, themselves needing to attend St. Mungo's for reasons not clarified to the school.
Abuse, being Physical, Verbal, or Emotional happens to these children. So Hogwarts has created a 'safe house' in best form for the kids so their education could be fulfilled. Witches and Wizards need proper training.
This miniature school is about twenty miles from Hogwarts, about half the size. They have the same classes, accept their beds and meals are offered year round.
&&PLOT
We will be focusing on the main idea of the life for these kids. They want to learn, but some may have attitude problems, emotional problems, or anything of the sort.
I ask that we only have sixth years.

In Wexford, Ireland on January 1st, 1992, Lacey Margret James was born. Her parents, Margret and Jonathon were young and in love. It only took four years until the arguing began. Arguing turned to fighting. Fighting turned into Screaming. Screaming turned into one leaving for days at a time. Then it came to Lacey and her father, all alone. He drank, abused her, used his magic against the law, and ended up in Azkaban. Margret came around when that happened, her new boyfriend lived in Dublin, and they soon after became engaged. When Lacey wanted to know why her mother just up and left, Margret would turn it around, and ask why Lacey was such a terrible child. Everyone said it was Lacey's fault that Margret and Jonathon separated, at least, that's what Lacey thought. With troubles at home, shortly after Lacey began wizarding school, she was plucked out several times. This would've been a problem, accept Lacey was always ahead. She called it 'Preparing to leave'. Preparing got harder when the school work grew, and shortly after it started, she fell behind. Now getting a chance to live somewhere stable year round, Lacey jumped, and her mother and step-father happily shipped her off. EXTRA
Lacey doesn't talk much. She is close to being completely mute, although it's just a mixture of being shy and fearing rejection.

Carmen was born to her energetic, fun-loving Spanish mother and her strict, evil Mexican father. When they divorced when Carman was two, her mother took Carmen to live in England while her father had custody, in Spain, in the summer months. Carmen was raised like her mother: with Spanish culture. She usually talked a lot and played around. When she was with her father, though, it was different. Her father was the type that believed woman should be seen, not heard. As a result hewould rarely make her talk and wouldn't let her do anything fun. He also abused her and made her feel small, along with the other things he had done to her that she doesn't prefer to think about. He eventually drilled that she shouldn't talk into her head and now she's always like that.

Nathan is the complete opposite of most of the boys in their house - he is talkative, almost annoyingly so and seems to have the need to fill every moment of the day with some kind of noise. Really, inside, he is afraid of silence and will do anything to get rid of an awkward silence.

Nathan grew up in suburban Germany, with abusive parents. They locked him up in his room and forced him to be silent. Nathan did as told, but when he was away from his room, he was constantly chatting, and starting to bounce around whenever there was silence. Nathan knew his parents were unhappy and could confirm this when they got divorced. Now he lives with his mother - but his mother did not want him either, so when he got the letter to Hogwarts, his mother sent him immediately.

Coheed is usually a quite girl, but often has loud outburst of anger or rage. She is artist. Occasionally can be a a little sadistic. She trys to keep to herself out of the fear of hurting others.

HISTORY
When younger Coheed had lived with her mother. Over the years she had developed a form of insanity. Soon enough her mother had turn to cannibalism. Coheed herself didn't partake in this. Often she would hide in the attic. As years went by her mother eventually turned to her and tried to have her. In defending herself at the age of twelve- Coheed had taken hold of a near knife and murdered her mother.
From there she was put into the care of distant relative, but was hardly ever there. When she came back from Hogwarts her relatives would push her towards camps and get aways. Her explosive attitude had her going from place to place until this new school.

Jeremiah can't sleep, nor does he ever get very tired. His body has seemed to have gotten use to being tired. He doesn't sleep out of fear of what could happen. Once he was in bed, and during that time his older sister was murdered by an intruder.

Olivia's no longer afraid to voice her thoughts, but she no longer believes that her existence matters anymore.

The boy looked too much like his father, and Garrett's mother just couldn't stand him and believed that Garrett was being an annoying brat and selfish like his father and wasn't understanding about how she felt. To this day, Garrett still lives with his mother who has the same attitude towards Garrett.
PERSONALITY
Jay Jay is the tough silent type, who has a fierce temper if it is aroused, which is often. He's not afraid to speak his mind, and has a nasty nack of getting himself into fights. He used to be friendly and understanding, but that all changed when dad walked off and his mum started to drink. She got herself a boyfriend who delt drugs, which turned her into a drug addict. This, plus his new stepdad, is what changed Jay Jay forever.

Alex is quite disturbed. He is rather violent, and closed off from others, along with being sardonically sarcastic and rarely having a kind word for anyone. Alabaster skin, raven-black shoulder length hair, spiked up like a porcupine. Alex was born to a mid-class muggle family in the Netherlands. His father was a banker, and his mother a waitress. All throughout his mother's (Ellie) pregnancy, he had several complications in the womb, brought on by Ellie's incessant drinking.
Growing up, Alex was never quite normal, refusing to play with other children and sleeping in his drawers once he was moved out of his crib instead of sleeping in his bed as was encouraged by his parents.
Throughout elementary school, he faced expulsion several times, and in the duration of middle school his conditions only worsened. He landed in the police office on more than one occurrence, and his parents only felt extreme relief when he received his Hogwarts letter. Alex was growing to pose a threat to their three other children.
He made no friends in his first, second, or third year, keeping to corners and driving several roommates out. When he experienced extreme nightmares, he cast sleep away, too, and began to suffer from sleep deprivation until the nurse prescribed him medication.
He was kicked out of Hogwarts his fourth year for harassing professors and other inapproipriate and destructive activities.
Alex was moved to Durmstrang, and discovered dancing on the border of Dark Magic, was expelled there as well.
His parents discovered the program Hogwarts was beginning, and begged for the Head Master's forgiveness for their son. He was accepted, begrudgingly.

We begin arriving at the school. To follow SS rules, I ask you don't go into details about the past.
Lacey hugged the soft black fabric that clung to her loosely. Her red hair was whipping along with the wind as her green eyes flickered across every space in the open field. This would be better then home, right? Crossing one arm over her stomach, as if to prevent vomiting, she brought the other up to her mouth, biting lightly on a tiny piece of the fabric. It was a habit, like any other, which Lacey did when she was nervous. The sign said to sit at the tables and get to know the people attending. Edging towards the picnic tables, she sat on the very corner of one, looking as if she was about to fall off. Her legs bounced lightly, another habit.

Ashleigh sighed, flicking a piece of hair from the front of her face to behind her ear, her long fake eyelashes fluttering delicately on her cheeks. She sighed and tweaked a 10-karat diamond ring on her right hand middle finger and sighed once more, sitting at the front row with the rest of the evil-mean-queen-bees. Bored, that was what she was. Why did she have to be stuck with the losers anyways?
Nathan, on the other hand, was way at the back, talking a mile a minute, like usual. He was talking about something random... As usual. Hee hee.

A black form stalked noiselessly into the clearing, shoulders hunched in a hostile position, fingerless glove clothed corpse hands curling like vicious talons through the belt loops of his baggy, ebony pants. Somehow, the boy did not jingle when he moved, though from head to foot he was draped in chains, hanging from the numerous pockets of his pants, his muddied combat boots, even around his neck worn like bizarre medals of achievement. Alexander's hair, dark as his clothing, was slicked straight over his liner-rimmed eyes, a peephole in which his bridge piercing glinted through allowing him to see out with a bare minimum able to peek in. The Netherlands native preferred it this way, living in his own cave, hiding in his own moon-pale skin, distancing himself as far away from others as was humanly possible. The back of his hair was spiked up in a porcupine-fashion, jutting at every angle from his face like peacock feathers, and with subconcious pride, he straightened a lock with a stern pat. Alex pressed his mouth into a firmer line, head bobbing back as he peered suspiciously at the sky, heart quickening as a tremor crept up his spine. God. He wished this had been held indoors. The eejits were trying to torture him, drive him out once more. Merlin. He'd gladly comply; he'd much rather be in the downstairs basement of some shady pub right now instead of out in the open, marching to a year of braiding daisy chains with head case losers. He didn't want to be here, his parents had been so desperate to get rid of him. Stupid father, idiot mother...
With a resigned sigh he pulled his trench coat to his chest and shot a leer, invisible under his fringe, at the girl already seated. She looked so... Friendly. Gross. And the other girl, the Barbie-looking one... He certainly hoped she'd find a room before she began kissing her reflection. Princess he immediately nicknamed her, disgusted by the self absorbedness. Not to mention the weirdo... Mumbling to himself. Alex could feel a rapidly developing headache coming on. Shuffling to the furthest possible table, he crawled atop of it and jammed in his earphones, angry music screeching from the contraption he held.
