After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Tonks popped into the fireplace as Ginny and Harry seemed to be having a special moment so, she hurried out of the kitchen upstairs. She was surprised to find the room somewhat cleaner than she and the twins had left it but, she supposed if Snape and Sinistra had been having a meeting... Tonks giggled, despite her current frame of mind at the ridiculous thoughts running through her mind and hurried to collect her things and stuff them in her trunk.

Fred considered Hermione's last sentence for a minute, blinking at her a few times. Keeping ahold of her hands, Fred stood up."Well, I think we are getting off to a good start. We both agree on our first issue, which is something.."Fred said optimistically.

"Um..I think I could use some water, and I need to send an Pig to Dobby to see how things are...So, after you, my lady.."Fred said, bowing deeply and allowing Hermione to go on before him.

Harry shufted with Ginny to a chair that was nearby and his shirt was almost halfway off when he broke their kiss and stopped to consider what was going on. "Ginny... what are we doing?" He surveyed her eyes, awaiting her answer.

Ginny looked back at Harry in confusion. He must be a lot more innocent than she thought if she was sitting on his lap removing his clothing and he didn't know what was going on. "I'm seducing you, Harry," Ginny replied simply, slipping her hand inside his shirt and kissing his neck.

No matter how good it felt nor how much he wanted this to go on, Harry couldn't let it. He couldn't get rid of the feeling that what was happening was happening for the wrong reasons. "I've come to that conclusion," Harry said, "Why, though?" He hoped she was listening because she did seem quite busy...

Ginny sat back and stared at Harry. Why was he making this so much more than it had to be? "Harry, you're ruining this moment. I just want to be with you. I love you, and I want to be with you." She trembled, doubting the truth in her own words at that moment but not pulling away from him.

Harry felt bad when he heard Ginny's reply, though it wasn't really convincing. "Then are you sure you want to do this, if that's really why you want to?" He asked her, looking into her troubled eyes.

Hermione smiled and led the way back into the house anf into to the kitchen. When they got there, she got a glass for Fred and filled it with water. She handed it to him and sat on the counter, watching him in an amused way.

Ginny pulled back from Harry and fell off the chair completely. "I wouldn't be here if I didn't, Harry. Maybe you're the one who doesn't want me." She stared up at him with wounded eyes from her spot on the floor. "Now, when it comes down to it, you don't want me."

Harry groaned and slid onto the floor next to Ginny. He took her hands in his. "No, I want you, Ginny... really, I do. Believe me. You're everything I've ever wanted in a girl. I just... I'm not sure we are ready to seriously do this.

Fred saw the backs of Harry and Ginny whisk out of the room as he came in. He wondered what they were up to, but then again..with Ginny, he decided he'd rather not think about it...

Fred chugged the water that Hermione got him, and leaned against the counter next to her. Her legs swinging off the counter top just made Fred fall for her all over again. She was just so innocent and sweet..Fred swept her off the counter and into his arms, dipping her head down, then quickly bringing her back up. He sat her back down on the ground and took her hand. "Up to my room, my lady.."

Fred took a few steps, then turned back to face her, "And...if you see Harry and Ginny, just look the other way. I have a feeling they're up to no good, and I don't want to throw up my breakfast in front of you."

Tonks waved her wand, taking away the top bunk above George's bed. Then, she levitated her trunk and walked down the stairs. She passed Hermione and Fred but, didn't say anything; she just walked right into the kitchen, up to the fireplace, and took down the bag of floo powder.

Hermione went with Fred to his room. She wondered why Fred thought Ginny and Harry were up to no good... Ginny had just been furious with just about everyone. When they arrived in Fred's room, she took a seat on the bed and watched Fred.

Ginny started to shake, the earnest, pleading look on poor Harry's face more than she could bear. She crawled into Harry's lap again, this time on the floor, pressing her face against his bare neck and feeling her tears well to the surface. She had thought she couldn't cry, her tears running out for Luna days ago. But these tears were for Alicia, for the twins, and for Harry and herself. "There's something wrong with me, Harry."

Harry could not help but be relieved that Ginny had come to her senses. He held her close to him and let her cry, stroking her back with his hand. When her sobbing had become quiet, he said, "There's nothing wrong with you, Ginny... I think you're just stressed and confused. We all are. It's tough."

Ginny looked up at Harry with red eyes. "I hope you didn't just waste your only chance at being seduced, Harry." Her brown eyes were huge with only a hint of their usual mischiviousness. "How will you know when we are ready? I certainly felt ready, even though you're right."

Fred noticed Tonks out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't speak. He was still irritated at her from the morning incident. They made their way up to his room, and Hermione went straight for his bed. She already seemed comfortable there, which made Fred grin..

Fred grabbed some paper, and dug through George's stuff looking for a pen, then scribbled a letter to Dobby. It covered the basics, taking inventory, stuff about Gringotts. He scanned, and looked to Hermione, while thinking. THen, out of the blue, he yelled, "GEORGE! GET your good looking butt in here!"

Snape returned to his quarters after leaving the Sinistras, his mind racing with thoughts about what had happened and what would happen next. He tried to push them to the back of his mind with thoughts of Italy. He wondered what it would be like to spend an entire week, possibly longer, with the two Sinistras. He was fairly certain he would have no problems at all with Tara but, he was worried the young child would overtax his patience. Snape sat down in his chair and began to prepare himself some tea as the thoughts continued to race through his mind.

Tonks threw in the floo powder, maneuvered her trunk into the fireplace, stepped in after it, and spoke the address of her new flat. She was there in no time at all and stepped out of the grate, brushing herself off. Looking around the pre-furnished living room she sighed and wondered if Kingsley would allow her to come back to work a couple days early. It would be awfully lonely to spend so much time alone in this new apartment after having spent so much time with other people at Grimmauld Place.

Hermione was playing with the white sheets on Fred's bed, admiring the stitching as Fred wrote his short letter. She was surprised and jumped a little when he shouted for George. "What do you need George for?" She asked, kind of hoping they could be alone for a little while longer.

Fred waited and waited, but George must of been up to something other than coming at Fred's call. Shrugging, he said, "I don't guess I do. It's just...I thought he'd want to go with me..." Fred avoided Hermione's eyes. He wasn't sure if she'd laugh at him, or think him a wuss for what he and George did on some afternoons in their spare time..

"Go with you? Where are you going? And... so you really think that's wse... you two have already gotten in enough trouble for leaving the house..." Hermione said, not thinking of anywhere they could possily need to go.

Fred eyed Hermione, not letting her see his suspicions rise. She was the greatest thing he'd ever had the chance to be apart of, but she would never be able to tie Fred Weasley down. " Well... I'm not telling you where I'm going, and I'm going despite whether or not it's wise. And you, Miss Granger, are coming along with me." Fred reached for her hand and waited for her backlash...

"But..." Hermione looked at Fred's hand. "You won't even tell me? Fred, we could get in a lot of trouble... and I don't even know where we're going. I trust you, but we're not supposed to leave the house..." She bit her lip nervously. She took his hand, but didn't get up.

Fred got down on one knee in front of Hermione and took her hand and wrapped both of his own around hers. "I'd never let you get in trouble, or put you in harm's way, Mione. You said you trust me, so let's see it." Fred took one of his hands and and cupped it on the side of her face, letting his thumb rub against her lip. "Please?"

George had been wandering listlessly through the house, trying to find something to keep him busy while he waited for Guin. He had been in the girls' room, waiting for Guin to come and pack when he heard Fred shout for him. George had been bored and considering reading Ginny's diary anyway, so he made his way across the hall. Apparently Fred hadn't waited for him because George walked into a scene that made him realize that he obviously had underestimated the stupidity of his twin.

"What's going on here?" George asked in a flat voice.
