After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"I'm not certain I can," he began but, at the look on her face, he quickly continued. "But, I think I should be able to make arrangements for my absence, if you wish me to go with you though, I'm not certain I could refrain from using magic altogether."

Tara looked at him as if he had given her a very beautiful gift. "Oh, most of the not using magic had to do with Dani not knowing about my being a Witch. I'm sure we can make some concessions." She stood and pulled out her wand, charming the clothing to march back into their trunks. "I'm sorry... its making me batty in here."

Snape smiled. "At least I know you won't be making any messes," he said, getting up and embracing her properly, running a finger down her delicate cheek.

Hermione had gone back to admiring the freckles on Fred's neck when she was surprised to find Fred's face extremely close to hers and he had said something... "Hmm? Oh, no... Fred had his face right against hers, their cheeks touching and his chin resting on her shoulder..."Now just kick off..."

"No, I'm very neat," Tara said solemnly. "You've seen my quarters at Hogwarts. The only clutter I allow myself is my desk, and even then I know where everything is." She tilted her head back to bring her lips to his. "Oh, about the cottage in Italy... Dani has her own room. On the other side of the cottage." She smirked at him.

He rewarded her with a smirk of his own before leaning down to kiss her, sealing their new agreement. He relished in the kiss, having longed for her embrace, desperately, for last 24 hours and now that she was here, he wasn't going to let go.

Tara fell into Snape's kiss, not realizing how acutely she ached to be held by him until now. She removed her hands from embracing him to grab his robe, pulling herself up against his body. He was so much taller than her and she struggled to enjoy his kisses. "I wish we were at Hogwarts," she murmured against his mouth.

He smiled despite himself. "I need to remain here but, there's nothing that says we can't enjoy each other's company," he muttered, sitting down on the bed so that Tara was now standing a bit taller than him, though the difference in height was reduced to a distance more ammenable to kissing than when they were both standing.

"How long do you have to stay here?" Tara asked, moving between Snape's knees so that she could be closer to him. She bared her neck to his attentions and stooped a bit to nuzzle and nip at his ear. "Who's room is this, anyway?"

"I stay until Dumbledore tells me otherwise," he replied, enjoying her attentions as he fingered the buttons on her robe. "I'm not sure whose room this is but, judging by the mess, I'd say Tonks or the twins. Does it matter?"

"Well," Tara hesitated. She was uncomfortable with their being in someone else's room, but the smoldering look in Snape's eye overruled logic and discomfort. "No, it doesn't matter. Did you lock the door?" She leaned against him, her own hands moving to push his robe back.

Snape waved his wand at the door. "Just in case," he smiled, slipping her robe from her shoulders as she paid him the same favor.

Tara was tentative about such activities in someone else's room, in a house that was unfamiliar to her, but she soon gave in with her usual ardor. She relished the feel of him, missing his long, cool hands that contrasted to well to the warmth from the rest of him. She found herself snuggled against him not much later, his robes draped over them. "I finally get to hold you and not feel guilty about it," Tara sighed, rubbing her cheek against his bare chest.

Snape savored the feel of Tara and luxuriated in having her in his arms afterward. "I concur," he replied, kissing the top of her head. "Though, I still feel a bit guilty about putting you and your daughter at risk."

"I can't do anything to make you feel less guilty, Severus," Tara didn't move her head from his chest. "But I assure you that I am no mere child incapable of making decisions for myself. My safety and the safety of Dani are in my own hands and on my own head. Just... just care for me as you do."

Just as Snape was about to respond he heard movement outside the door. It sounded like someone tripping and then, cursing. "Perhaps we should get back to the drawing room," he said.

Tonks spilled her tea. She didn't know how she had done it but, it was now all over her lap. She excused herself from the table and walked up to her room to get changed. The carpet was a bit loose and she stumbled just as she got to the door, curing her clumsiness.

Tara sighed and rose, quickly donning her robes again. "I don't think I'll ever have the peaceful moment to just enjoy with you, Severus. Perhaps we're doomed to live a life of annoyance and interruption. Of course, our lives were fairly much like that before, what with the students and Dumbledore always popping in." She turned to watch him as he finished dressing.

It was just as he was doing up his top button that the locking charm on the door was broken. Perhaps this wasn't the twins' room afterall. Certainly neither of them would have been able to break the charm. He was correct; in came Tonks, holding the doorknob, her cheeks burning red. "We were just leaving," he said, dropping his hands to his sides.

Tara somehow managed to maintain some semblance of composure. Certainly it looked strange for them to be in Tonk's room, but they were both clothed and the room was in such disarray that anything they may have upset wouldn't even be noticed. "You should really be more careful, Nymphadora," Tara cautioned the younger woman. "The meetings that go on in this house are usually important Order business and are often private. Doors are locked for a reason."

Tonks finally managed to regain her composure and she shook her head. "Sorry, I didn't realize... I thought maybe the twins..." she flushed again. "I see what you mean. Sorry."

Her face beet red, she backed up and shut the door before heading back downstairs and sitting back at the table. She waved her wand to dry up the tea.

Tara turned to Snape with wide eyes. She wasn't frightened, but she was embarrassed and shocked. "I'm... a terrible liar." She couldn't help it. A small giggle escaped from her lips. It was a bit hysterical, and it was followed by tears. Tara turned from Snape and faced the door.

Snape put his hands on Tara's shoulders and turned her around. Then, he placed his hands on either side of her face, his thumbs resting beneath her tear-filled eyes. "What's this?" he asked, kissing her before she could answer.

Snape's embrace was tender and comforting, and Tara hadn't been held like that in many years. Not even Philipe had held her that way. His kiss was sweet and gentle, and Tara responded in kind before wiping the tears from her face. "I don't cry," she said a bit fiercely. "I just... there's so much happening."

He pulled her close to him and held the back of her head to his chest. "A lot has happened," Snape responded, unsure what else to say or do.

Tara held still for as long as she could, but finally she sighed. "I don't want to leave you here, but I probably ought to return to Hogwarts. I left Dani in Dumbledore's care and the poor man can only entertain an 8-year-old for so long." She slid her hands up to his face and ran light fingertips over his all the straight planes. "Come back soon."
