After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

George had forgotten about Tonks being in the kitchen, completely overlooking her and Ginny as he went about his business. Her sharp tone made him jump and he turned to look at her with a beguiling smile. "Now, Tonks... of course I was going to let you know. But you heard Guin... she needs to go for work. I'll take it as one of my duties as a member of the Order to accompany her to Gringotts and back. We won't stop and shop on Diagon Alley. We won't get drinks at the Leaky Cauldron. I won't even look into the shop. Does that sound okay to you? For Guin?" He put his hand on Guin's waist and pulled her closer to him as if to showcase who exactly he was speaking of.

Hermione smiled sheepishly. She was extremely embarassed. Not only was Fred hugging her, he was hugging her shirtless and she felt her cheeks burn. It was nice being hugged by him, though... so she let him hug her. A breeze blew and Hermione pulled away. "Aren't you cold?" She asked.

Guin smiled at Tonks as George show cased her, "I won't let him do anything foolish and you can trust me on that." Guin said with a nod as she looked at George, "Only to Gringotts and no where else in the wizarding world. I really need to go Tonks..." She added in a pleading tone, "Or else I'll probably loose my job and I love my job." Guin looked for some reassurance on Tonks face that would unable Guin to go.

"Alright," she answered, reluctantly. "But, only because you actually did ask first. I certainly hope you were being truthful when you said you were going ot let me know, George."

Tonks knew he hadn't had any intention of telling her but, she also knew it would be better if Guin didn't go alone. She also figured letting him go when he asked might encourage him to tell people where he was going a bit more often.

"Tonks, you're brilliant!" George rushed the table and managed to somehow get Tonks out of her chair and over his shoulder. She was fairly small like Ginny, and he was fairly strong. He ran around the table with her over his shoulder, whooping and making up a loud song about Queen Tonks of the Ever-Changing-Hair-Color. "Did you hear that, Guin? We're going to Gringotts!"

Tonks was quite surprised as she was suddenly whisked out of her chair. She gave a squeak of shock and fear as she was hefted over his shoulder. Her cheeks burned as he sang his little ditty and she was carried around the kitchen. "Uh, George..." she said, poking his bottom. "I think you can let me down now."

Guin laughed as George ran around with Tonks on his shoulder and when Tonks poked him. "Put her down George!" She said in between giggles. "Thanks Tonks!" Guin said as she stared at the poor girl on Georges shoulder still, "I really needed to go." Guin smiled and continued to laugh at George being silly.

Was he cold? What was she talking..Fred felt warmer than ever, holding Hermione close to him and feeling like he was on top of the world...."OH!" Fred said pulling back from her suddenly. He didn't have a shirt on. He had confessed his true feelings for Hermione...without a shirt on. That was so like himself, but now that she had brought it up he felt self conscious. "I...guess I should go find a shirt." Fred crossed his arms and got up. He didn't want uncross his arms, but he just couldn't keep his hands off of Hermione. He reached down and pulled Hermione up by her small, dainty little hands.

Fred held back from hugging her again, not wanting to scare her off so soon, but he did hold on to one of her hands. He led her back into the house, and through the kitchen. He paused to greet the suspened Tonks, "Gooooood Morning, Tonks! And may I say you looking absolutely fabulous with your Weasley like good looks." Fred turned his head so that he could see her properly hanging from George's shoulder. "George, I'm sorry I punched you and it'll never happen again.."Fred added, solemnly.

George turned and looked doubtfully at Fred. "Of course, it will happen again. I don't know what I would do if you never wrestled me to the ground for no good reason again. In fact, I'd probably wrestle with you know, but I've got Tonks to carry around." He started to put Tonks down before he handed the woman to Fred, who barely managed to catch her. "You hold her. Guin and I have to go to Gringott's, and I need to get a shirt on that my brother hasn't destroyed. Be careful. She likes to poke people's bums."

Fred felt his knees try and give as the unexpected weight of Tonks was passed on to him. He was wanting to persue the butt poking comment, but he was still shirtless and still grasping on to the girl of his dreams hand. Fred let Tonks down lightly, and turned to wink at Hermione. He tugged on her hand a hand and pulled her through the kitchen. "Well....we have things to do..."And Fred headed up stairs to find a shirt."You care to tag along?"he asked Hermione at the door to his room..

Elizabeth walked into the Kitchen to see George and Guin about to leave, Tonks smiling and Fred and Hermione exchanging interesting looks.

"Good Morning everyone" she said, attempting to be cheerful.

Tonks squeaked again as she felt airborne for a moment before she was 'safely' in Fred's arms. She was quite relieved when he put her down, though she staggared a bit from hanging upside down and immediately sat back down at one of the kitchen tables. "Are they always like that?" she asked Ginny.

Ginny laughed at Tonk's question. "That's tame for the twins. They're usually worse. Wait until they really get to know you." She looked up to see Elizabeth enter looking out of place and a bit uncomfortable. "Good morning, Liz."

Hermione liked the feeling of Fred's hand in hers... it made her feel all warm inside. When they arrived at his bedroom door and he asked if she would tag along, she responded with a smile, "Okay... maybe I can help you pick out something that matches better than George's sweater."

"Is that so? I thought George's sweater looked quite stunning on me.."Fred said posing much like a super model. Then he remembered, again, that he still was shirtless. "If you think you can do better, then I give you full Fred dressing privledges." Fred ushered her in, and pointed her to his closet. He wathced attentively as she sorted through his clothes...he still couldn't believe that someone like Hermione had any feelings for him...

Hermione grinned, looking through Fred's clothes. He had some pretty interesting things in there... who would ever wear a neon pink and green turtleneck? After some searching, she picked out a nice black sweater with a gold stripe across the middle. She turned back to him with the shirt. "There. I think that's a very nice sweater. It should keep you nice and warm, too."

Fred looked at the sweater. It was rather plain to him, and he had really been hoping the neon pink sweater would of caught her eye. But he'd wear anything Hermione wanted him to, at any time of the day, any day of the week. Fred went over to her and raised his arms, much like a child would do, to let Hermione put the shirt on him. "You picked it out...so dressing me is part of the job.."he said with a mischevious grin.

Hermione blushed, but laughed, too. Fred was just too funny... and all of her life she had seen his humor as a bad thing. But, now, it was apparent that not all of it was destructive. She pulled the shirt over Fred's head and pulled each of the sleeves over his arms, and finished by pulling the rest of the sweater down to cover his torso. She smoothed some wrinkles and stood back to admire her work. "You look like a model, Mr. Weasley."

Fred loved feeling Hermione's fingers brush against his skin as she pulled the shirt over his head. He let her smooth it out against his skin, also enjoying having her hands on him again.

Fred stepped back and did a turn for Hermione, and hit a few poses to show off. Hermione's giggles were music to his ears, and her smile made him so happy it just didn't seem normal. He hadn't even liked her that long..but he had it so bad for her. "Mione...you know when I first met you, I thought you were an uptight sitck in the mud, but now..I can't keep my mind ...or my eyes off of you. Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?"

Hermione blushed again, for what seemed like at least the thounsandth time that day. She looked at the floor and brushed a strand of curly hair behind her ear. "Well... I don't... I... thank you, Fred," She said, keeping her eyes on the floor. She had never really had anybody tell her she was beautiful... at least besides Viktor... but somehow this seemed different.

Fred felt his own cheeks tinge pink, but it was worth the awkward moment to finally get his feelings off of his chest. Fred had the distinct feeling that Hermione only liked him about a third as much as he liked her, but he really didn't care as long as she did like a some. Fred put his forefinger underneath her chin and raised her face so he look down at her. He let his eyes study her face for a bit, and gave a great sigh. He wanted to kiss her...he lips were so soft looking and pink..but he had a better idea. He tapped the end of her nose with end of his finger and took off running, yelling back, "You're it!!"

Hermione watched Fred... he seemed to be studying her face and she almost thought he was going to... he tapped her on the nose! It took Hermione a few seconds to realize what he did, but when she did, she chased after him until she caught up with him, hit him on the shoulder and squeaked out while giggling, "You're it!"

Fred was never one to take a game in any other fashion except serious. And this occassion was no different. He saw Hermione's robes swish into her room that she shared with the other girls. Fred paused at the door before sticking his head in. She was crouched just on the other side.."You are awfully cute when you're hiding...but...I have bad news for you.."Fred said hanging his head. But then he burst out and tagged her tummy and took off running again.

This time though he ducked back in his room, and when she came running by..Fred grabbed her by her waist from behind and pulled her close to him, holding her tightly. "You're it....again."

"But that's against the rules... you can't..." Hermione looked at Fred, then realizing he was being flirtacious, said, "Oooh... right... you're... okay..." If anything could make this moment awkward, Hermione just had. She smiled, though, hoping Fred wouldn't mind. She liked his arms around her and wanted him to keep them there for a long time...
