After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"Well..." Guin thought about it, "It was kinda out of no where...He was showing me how good he was at cheerleading but failed miserably." Guin said with a laugh, "Then he fell, we joked, then he pushed me down because I made a comment and we just laughed." Guin continued with a smile on her face as she still leaned on her arms. "Then...then were tried to get up. You see I was having a hard time because he wouldn't stop making me laugh! So then he got up, pulled me up...but he...he pulled me up and...we were so close..." Guin had a sparkle in her eyes as she continued to explain to Hermione of what had happened. "We were so close...I could see his eyes...I couldn't move, I couldn't breath. We just moved closer and closer and then...we kissed..."

The memory of the kiss flooded through Guin's mind, "I've fallen for him haven't I Hermione?" Guin asked as she turned to her with that glinting sparkle still there.

Dani looked curiously at Dumbledore before taking the note and breaking the seal carefully. It was curious to her, and she wanted to examine the wax and parchment in detail, but she knew they were waiting on her. Unrolling it, Dani glanced at the signature. "It's from Draco!"

She read quickly for her age, and she knew almost all of the words, which made her proud. He had to go, but he'd see her soon. He wished her well. Lots of nice things that made her childish heart burn warmly. She rolled it back up and glanced at the two adults watching her. "Thank you," she finally said to Dumbledore.

"Your welcome," he replied, giving her a pat on the head. "Now, we need to find you a daytime companion who knows their way around the school and is not intimidated by the antics of our resident poltergeist."

"Oh come off it Dumbeldore, we all know who you are going to assign to the task so, enough with the preamble and get on with it," one of the portraits spoke up before settling back in for her nap.

Dumbledore chuckled. "Actually, she's right. I do have someone in mind. However, I think it's best if I talk to them about it first, if you don't mind, Sitara," he said.

"No... that's... fine," Tara answered faintly. "The sooner everything can be arranged, the better, of course. I'll change my schedule for now so that I can be awake when she is, but that means I will be putting off my research until things can be arranged." She hoped he understood that she needed to prioritize Dani's safety right now.

"Fine, George. I'll give her yet another chance. But I seem to remember picking flowers for her and have them thrown back in my face. I also remember her getting into our potions and nearly setting herself on fire..and who came to the rescue? Fred did. Who got blamed and forever marked a bad guy? Fred did. She's off her rocker, but if you'll drop this, I'll try and talk to her more. Sheesh...."Fred said laying back down hard on his bed. "I just don't understand why if she's so perfect I have to take her. You take her. You deserve perfect. Only the best for my brother!"

"You are totally missing the point," George rose from Fred's bed and moved back to his own. "It isn't that she's perfect... it's that she's perfect for YOU. She's... she's just brilliant, and you're acting like you can do better. You can't. There is nothing better out there." He plopped down on his bed and curled into a ball. "And this is me dropping it... but I will bring it up again if you don't start making an effort." George rolled over so that his back was to Fred.

Fred had the "point" quite clear: George had had a stressful day and had officially lost his mind. Guin, wasn't perfect for him. She won't even stay in the same room as me...,he thought. No, she was not the one for Fred, and if George didn't shut up for real about her, he was going to be forced to tell him that he had it bad-real bad for Mione and his plans for Guin and himself might get in the way of that...

"I got your point, and I appreciate it. I'll try and talk to her tomorrow for you." Fred turned over on his bed to face the opposite wall. "George....you alright? About today and all...."

George decided to let the conversation drop. "Not really. I keep thinking that if I'd done something differently or... something, that we could have saved her. But we probably would have died too, and where would that leave us?" George looked over his shoulder at Fred's back. "What about you? Are you okay?"

"Of course, Danika must be your first priority. The research can wait a day while I make the arrangements for you," Dumbledore smiled and placed a comforting hand on Sitara's arm.

Then, he knelt down to Danika's height. It seemed she was still delighted with her letter. "Aside from Peeves, who can be very naughty at times, how do you like Hogwarts, so far, Miss Sinistra?" he asked the young witch.

"Well, I'm no expert at love..." Hermione told Guin, "But I think maybe you have feelings for him. George is a great guy. Great personality... he's caring, funny, kind... and a great twin, too." Hermione added the last part without thinking on it too much and hoped Guin wouldn't think of it as out of the ordinary.

"I like that idea... I've always wanted to travel..." Harry said. "And I like your idea of going to a beachy place first... you must look awful cute in a swimsuit." He grinned and watched Ginny.

Dani looked up at her mother nodding in understanding before she cocked her head at Dumbledore. "I think I like it very much. If I should meet another ghost, I hope he won't chase me around and try to eat me like that mean little one. I didn't know ghosts existed until just a few days ago, but... there's lots of new things I'm learning." Dani took a step forward until she was peering right into Dumbledore's face, and her mother's possible look of horror couldn't be seen. "Sir... if I have to have a babysitter, maybe it could be Draco."

Ginny blushed and sat up. "You mean what Muggle women wear to the beach? I couldn't tell you, although there seems to be a lot less to them then, say, dress robes. I guess you'll just have to bide your time. Maybe we can go shopping for one together." Ginny stretched then and stood up. "It's getting late."

"No... thank you, Headmaster." Tara wished she could express to Dumbledore that she didn't want Draco to watch Dani. It wasn't because she didn't like him but because if she was avoiding complications with Snape for being a Death Eater and potentially dangerous, she certainly couldn't put Dani in the care of another Death Eater.

Harry nodded and took Ginny's hand, leading her inside. He walked her to her bedroom and gave her a goodnight kiss. "I enjoyed talking with you Ginny... it's nice to think about the day when we'll be back out in the real world..." He hugged her and kissed the top of her head. "Good night."

Elizabeth had spent the day mainly staying out of people's way. She sat alone in the drawing room for much of the afternoon, staring out the window at the world beyond.

At last she felt tiredness begin to take her, and she walked upstairs to her room and fell asleep.

Tonks trudged up the stairs carrying her stack of papers. The twins were already asleep and she tried desperately to be quiet but, somehow, she managed to bump into every piece of furniture in the room before finding her bed in the darkened room. Not bothering to get dressed for bed, she climbed up and fell into a light sleep.

She woke up early the next morning, tripped on something laying around on the floor and landed on top of George. "Ooof," she said, putting her hands down to push herself up and finding nothing but George's body underneath. "Oh, sorry, George."

George awoke suddenly to find something soft and heavy laying across him. At the sound of her voice, he realized it was Tonks, but her words were lost in the sleepy haze. He rolled over so that she was no longer laying on him and stared at her through bleary eyes. "Wow, Tonks... I'm really flattered you want to throw yourself at me like this, but I'm really not in the mood." He closed his eyes and snuggled back into his blankets, one arm still wrapped around her waist.

"Um..." Tonks said, staring at the arm around her waist and blushing from his comments. "Not that you aren't a nice guy George but, I tripped."

Realizing a little belatedly that he was joking, due to her embarrassment at her clumsiness, she laughed, pulled his arm off of her, and stood up. She kissed his forhead and whispered in his ear, "Maybe later, then."

George made a swipe at Tonks, but she scooted out of the way too fast. "I didn't say I wasn't up for some snuggling. I hope you aren't making promises you don't intend to keep later," he yawned and stretched. "What are you doing up this early, anyway?" He stayed propped against his pillow and watched her.

"We'll see how you behave today," she said, raising an eyebrow at him and laughing again. "I was just making sure no one slipped past me again. I really should have been awake to prevent you and Fred from leaving yesterday."

She sighed and ran a hand through her ruffled blue hair. Wrinkling her nose, she changed her hair to a plain brown.

"Maybe you should make it carroty red to fit in with the stunning Weasleys," George suggested playfully. "Look, I know we snuck out yesterday, but there were plenty of people in the house to stop us, including Snape and our parents. You really shouldn't take it personally. We would have done what we needed to do to get past you, and that might have left you stunned and stuck in a closet somewhere. It isn't your fault that we snuck out, and hey look... we're fine. If you're going to persist in thinking of yourself as my babysitter, its really going to put a damper on our snuggling."

Tonks laughed and had to admit George's little speech made her feel a little better about what had happened the previous day. She sat down on the edge of George's bed and pat his leg. "I'm sorry about what you saw. I know you and Fred were friends with her," she said, glancing at the slumbering form of Fred across the room.

She screwed up her face again to change her hair and give herself some matching freckles and smiled over at George. "This better?"

"Ugh... now you look too much like Ginny. I have no desire to let you anywhere near me for snuggles." He grinned playfully at her, not actually against the idea of letting the pretty Auror near him. "What do you really look like, anyway? You've had wildly colored hair and different eyes and nose everytime I see you. I don't know if I could even tell you what you really look like."
