After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Guin had been staring at her knees still in thought when she heard a voice kneel beside her. Looking up she saw Hermione, "Oh...geez I don't even know how to say it." She said putting her hands to her face again. In a quiet muffled voice she managed to get the words out to Hermione, "We kissed...George and I...oi!" Face in her hands again.

Guin had never been so confussed and not sure in all her life.

Hermione raised her eyebrows. She wasn't expecting Guin to say that. "Uh... is that a... bad thing? George is very... nice..." She said, still somewhat confused.

"I don't know!" Squeaked Guin through her hands. Guin thought about it and she didn't even know herself. "I know he's nice...he's sweet and...merlins beard!" Guin exclaimed again. She looked up at Hermione as she put down her hands, "I don't know what to think Hermione. One second he's telling me I'll be great for his brother then he kisses me!" Guin added as she looked confussed and struggling with herself.

"Shh..." Hermione stroked Guin's back soothingly. The part about Guin being good for Fred surprised her... she wanted to ask Guin if she did feel anything for Fred and why George was telling her she was perfect for him, but she seemed too distressed at the moment. She seemed much too upset about a kiss... "He didn't... force himself on you or anything, did he?"

"Oh no!" Guin cried, "George had done no such thing!"Guin had to make sure that he had not done anything to hurt her or any such thing. "It..it was kinda mutual..." She added looking down, "We both...at least I think it was." Guin looked confused again and then put her head to her knees again. "I have no idea how I could hate someone one day and then kiss him! Oi."

"Well, feeling change, Guin... maybe yours for George just changed rapidly." Hermione was wondering where George was now and if he had just kissed her and fled, leaving her a confused mess.

"I hate changes." Guin said leaning on her arms with a sour face, "I always hated change.Meh." Guin looked at the door, if Guin hadn't backed away maybe they would've been able to talk. Then she wouldn't be on the floor glowering in her own self pity at what had happened. "He should've stayed...but I did kinda...blamed him..." Guin said with a sigh.

"Well, then you two need to talk, I would think. You have feelings for each other, obviously... so I think you should talk." Hermione realized what she was saying was completely ironic because she had feelings for Fred, but they weren't talking about anything like that... at least not outright.

Guin looked up at Hermione and just stared. "I know your right...but I don't think either of us knows what happened or what we actually feel." Guin said thinking about it as she just stared at Hermione, "Maybe it was just a spur of the moment?" She tried to categories what had happened and by the look on Hermions face Guin was failing miserably.

"Maybe," Hermione said. "What were you two doing that you ended up kissing each other? Of course, you don't have to tell me... that's extremely private.... But if it was out of nowhere... that's a little different than if you were comforting him, say..."

"I know," Ginny whispered, not moving her body or head at all for fear that she might somehow ruin this perfect moment. "When you want to go, I'll come with you."

"So... you do acknowledge that she's pretty?" George had to remind himself that this was good news. "And I didn't force her to..." He didn't know how to explain to Fred that he was kissing the woman Fred was supposed to be with, nor that Guin had seemed to participate in the kiss as well. "I won't kiss her anymore, but you really should work harder to win her over."

"Well....yeah she's pretty, dunce head. But I don't want her. You take her, if you're so keen on her. Plus, I don't want to kiss her after you have kissed her. That'd be like kissing..you. " This thought brought a very important new thought to Fred. He'd have to find out if Ron ever kissed Hermione..or maybe it was better if he didn't know.."I have my eyes on someone, anyways.."Fred said trying to slip it in, while he pulled the curtains open.

Harry kissed the top of Ginny's head. "Good, so... we stick together. I like that plan. So... what are going to do when we get out of this house?" He asked.

"Who?" George asked, but Fred was trying to be sly. George launched himself onto the other bed. "Who?" he demanded, wrestling his twin until he was pinned. "I'm telling you I don't want her, but you're going to go and ruin everything, aren't you? You stupid git. Why don't you see what's good for you?" He laughed and poked Fred's ribs.

"Well, first, you learn how to cook and learn some house keeping spells. I'll get a job that pays too little. We'll have a few kids... and you'll stay at home and raise them rather badly. Maybe we can get a dog, but I'm not walking it. When I get home from work every night, you'll give me a massage and bring me dinner. How does that sound?" She smiled against his shoulder.

Fred laid breathless underneath his brother, "I'll give you a clue: It's not Guin. She hates me, anyways. She basically runs out of any room I'm in. I'm telling you, take her. She let you get close enough to kiss her...which let me give you props for that one. She seems the type that wouldn't hesitate to give you a swift kick...."Fred didn't have to finish his sentence. Both boys knew where he meant and they both winced at the thought. "...and if you got that close, unharmed, then either she's drunk or you've pulled our Weasley charm on her." Fred rolled over, taking George off of him.

"Well, its your fault she hates you anyway," George huffed as he got bounced onto the floor. He scrabbled back up until he was sitting on Fred's bed. "If I could get her to like me again, then you certainly should be able to with a little bit of effort. I'm your twin, Fred. I know you better than anyone else. I might know you better than I know yourself. Can you trust me that I see something worth looking into here?"

Harry laughed, "I think that sounds just perfect. Except... you only get a massage if I get one.... Raising kids can't be an easy job. I'm sure your mum will attest to that." The sun was setting and a breeze had started to come about. Harry hugged Ginny closer to him.

"Well, alright... because you're such a nice house husband, I'll let you have whatever your little heart desires. But we mustn't tell anyone. Once I become Minister of Magic, it wouldn't do for people to know I let a war hero boss me about like that." Ginny snuggled against Harry and let the breeze toss about the ends of her hair. "What do you want to do after we get out of this house?"

"Hmm... I don't know. I liked the sound of your plan. But maybe... once we get out of here, we can go somewhere. Like... on a vacation or something. That'd be nice," Harry said. "If we went somewhere, where would you want to go?"

Ginny thought about it for a while. The only place she'd ever really been was Egypt, plus her brief sojourn for supplies with the twins. There were any number of places she'd like to go. "Maybe we could just travel all over the world, Harry. Together. See things that we've never seen before and make memories of places together. But first... i think I'd like to go somewhere with a beach. And an ocean. Somewhere warm where we can play all day."

Tara hurried Dani along, recognizing that it was getting late in the day. She didn't want to bother Dumbledore, but there could not be a recurrence of today's events. She got them through the gargoyle entrance, and at the door to the office, Tara knocked softly, gesturing to Dani to keep still.

Dumbeldore had summoned the note which had been slipped under the door and smiled. Not too long afterwards, he heard another knock on his door. "Enter," he said, stroking the top of Fawkes' head before turning back to his papers while waiting for Sitara and Danika to come in.

Tara watched Dumbledore solemnly, but his twinkle seemed as bright as ever. She could never seem to really gaure his mood, but maybe it was just because she always expected the worst and always received the best from him. "Headmaster, I hate to trouble you, but... I fear that the castle and grounds are too vast for Danika, who is only now becoming accustomed to the Wizarding World. She came across Peeves today, and he could have injured her. I was wondering... is it at all possible for me to arrange care for her during the day?" Dani stomped her foot and stared at the floor.

"Of course," he smiled, standing up and walking around the desk, the letter in his hand. "But, before we get to that, I have something here for Danika."

Dumbledore handed the letter to the child and folded his arms as he waited for her to open it.
