After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Ron nodded. "They are... they just don't know when to stop sometimes. I think that's their main problem..." He shrugged. "At least that's what mum always told them."

Feeling Fred's fingers on her face made Hermione shiver for some reason. Then, she considered her options... she didn't want to leave Fred just yet, she found just being with him made her extremely happy and cared for. But, if she did stay, they weren't in the best position for someone to see them in. So, reasoning bewtween the two, she decided on what she would do. "I think I'll stay for a few more minutes..." Hermione told Fred.

Harry laughed. "Okay, I won't expect them in that order as long as you promise they'll all get done."

Tonks laughed. "Yes, they do seem to go oerboard but, their hearts are in the right place. We just need to find them something useful to do for the Order which requires their special talents," she said. "In fact, I'm sure Dumbledore was thinking just that when he inducted them in the first place. They just didn't know to stay put until they were needed."

"Ok, Mione.."Fred said readjusting his pillow to make sure Hermione had some. He pulled the blanket up to his neck and checked that he had covered Hermione completely as well. Even though he wasn't exactly snuggling with her, and didn't want to cross any boundaries, it still felt great to just have her close to him, feeling the warmth off of her on his side. Yawning and stretching his arms up he said, "If I fall asleep, you make sure and wake me so I can walk you back to your room.." Fred settled back down, shutting his eyes. He was hoping and praying that his dreams wouldn't be filled with what he had seen earlier..

George watched Guin's face closely. She was having some sort of internal conflict, and as much as he wanted to ask her about it, he didn't have a right to meddle in her life. "So... now that we're mates, let me ask you a question. If I'm being a total prat, you can just tell me. Why exactly is it such an insult that I think you and my twin would be so good together?

Guin blushed and continued to look at the table. "You are being a prat." She said then looking at him. Why was it an insult? "Well...he's just not my type..." Guin added as she glanced into his eyes, "And plus...once you totally drench someone in water...don't look for a fighting chance." Guin laughed and looked at her hands.

Ginny laughed again and moved in close to Harry, her body barely touching his. She raised her face and touched his cheek lightly with her fingertips. "Oh, I think that can be arranged, Harry. I'm not going anywhere."

George scrubbed his hand through his hair and thought about her words. "I don't know about that. I nearly bled Katie Bell to death when we were in school, and she went with me to a Ministry Ball. I set Alicia on fire and..." He trailed off, remembering that Alicia was murdered, laying dead upstairs. "What IS your type, Guin? Not clever, funny, and good-looking?"

Guin sat there for a few seconds as she thought about it. What actually was her type? "Well..." She said as she pondered on the thought. "Funny I guess is a must...He has to be clever at least for me...and...and interesting. I need someone that could live with the fact that I have work in Egypt and could appreciate it." Guin told him with a nod as she picked up her orange peels and began playing with them a bit.

"So what's...whats your type of girl friend?" Guin asked looking up at him.

"I always thought, when I was a kid, that Fred and George would never find suitable work anywhere... they were too... spontaneous, and like you said, never knew when to stay put," Ron said. "But, I think they're really good for the order... someone just needs to teach them how to slow down."

Hermione smiled, knowing that Fred would fall asleep, and she wouldn't be waking him up. She turned her head and watched him... his eyes were closed and he looked so innocent. He was typically an innocent person, but many people refused to see that because of all of the "mischief" he and his brother got into. Hermione used to think so, too... but she realized what Fred and George did was all in good spirits...

They had been laying in silence for a few moments when Hermione realized Fred's breathing become deep and rhythmic. He had fallen asleep.... She knew she should go now, so she got up and stood by the edge of the bed, watching Fred contemplatively. She turned around to leave, but, quickly turned around and kissed Fred on the cheek, then leaving the room and shutting the door quietly behind her.

"Well, I'm not certain I'm up for that job," she replied. "But, I suppose bunking in with them will help so long as I make sure not to fall too deeply asleep again."

Harry smiled... Ginny being so close and touching his face was making him feel somewhat nervous. He reached his hand to touch her face, too, cupping his hand around her cheek. "You're beautiful, you know that?"

George thought about it for several long moments. He didn't often consider what kind of girl he liked because every girl he chased or was chased by seemed so different. "I don't know. It doesn't matter so much how pretty she is, although that doesn't hurt. I like it when a girl is witty and speaks her mind, but I guess I just want someone with passion - passion for her life, for Quidditch, for me... it doesn't matter. She just has to care deeply about things. Because I do." He shrugged. "That might sound dumb. I don't know. Anyway, let's get back to Fred. He's all of those things you said. And he almost never drenches people. It was a total fluke."

Ginny grinned at him, her eyes shining warmly. "I was wrong about you, Potter. You say the right things sometimes." Ginny went up on her toes and kissed Harry lightly. She could feel the flutter of his heart, and she cocked an eyebrow at him. "You're trembling."

"I see....." Guin said as she continued staring at her hands. "I say thats realistic." She added with a smile as she dared a quick glance at him. For some reason Guin couldn't seem to be able to look at George. It was stupid but she...she just couldn't! "Come off it George." Guin told him with a annoyed grunt. "I feel like I can tell you until I go blue in the face and you just won't get it!" She sighed and almost made a motion to get up but decided to stay put.

He realized it was stupid to feel nervous around Ginny, but for some reason, he was. Maybe it was all of this talk of marriage and children and the like, and her kiss seemed to turn his legs to jelly.... He nodded to her.

George saw that Guin was about to leave and put a hand on hers. "Hey! I won't bring it up anymore. I promise. I'll just know I'm right like the insufferable git I am, and you'll just have to waste a lot of time looking for love in the wrong places." He grinned at her and squeezed her hand before removing his hand to fiddle with the apple core sitting in front of him. "I sure hope you figure it out before Fred settles for someone less perfect. For him, I mean."

Ginny knew it was probably a bad thing, but she always was a little impressed when she saw signs of her own feminine powers. She was no Cho Chang or Parvati Patel, but Ginny knew she was pretty enough. But to see Harry getting nervous around her actually made her a bit proud. He'd been completely stupid over Cho, and now she was the one making him stupid. "You've never been nervous around me before, Potter. Thinking about the kids, are you?"

"It is my right to waste time," Guin said with a smile. "I'm sure your brother will find someone right...and it won't be me." Guin laughed and decided to throw her orange peels out in the garbage near them. "Soo...ummm..." Guin didn't know what they were gonna talk about now. Her mind was blank. What was there to talk about? Hmmmm.

George shot his apple core across the room into the rubbish bin and did a little victory dance when it went right in. "You know, if I didn't play Quidditch, I could have started an all-male Gryffindor cheerleading squad. I can do a backflip. Want to see?" He grinned at her and pushed the chair in. "Do you like Quidditch, Guin?"

"Yeah... you know... it's just strange... I mean..." Harry had to be careful with what he said, but it was odd to think how he was standing here telling Ginny they would have children together and that they would be together. He shrugged, "Yeah... that's what's making me weird... kids..."

"Uh huh," Ginny wasn't totally convinced. "Don't worry, Potter. I want you all to myself first. I don't want to share you with any number of small green-eyed children until I'm bored of your company." She rubbed her thumb along his jaw line and watched his reaction.

Guin laughed as George suggested a male cheerleading team. "That would be a funny site to see. Quidditch? Its alright I guess." She said with a smile. Guin decided that she'd get up just in case George tumbled her way. "Don't hurt yourself now..." Guin teased waiting for George to do the amazing things he said he could do.

George rolled up his sleeves and gave Guin a pointed look. "I can see I'll have to take you under my wing and introduce you to teh wonders of Quidditch. But first..." He put his arms up and bowed to the otherwise empty room. With practiced ease, he leaned back and put his hands on the floor and kicked his legs over. He would have made it too, except he had forgotten about Guin's chair. He landed in a heap and ly on the floor laughing.

Harry just stared at Ginny... when she touched his jawline, he felt like he could melt. He leaned in and kissed her gently, and it seemed to restore some of hisconfidence.

Guin looked away as he fell and clenched her teeth before she was sent in a fit of laughter. Bending down over George, "So is that how you would cheer them on?" She teased going into laughter again. Giving him her hand she asked,"Need help or would you like to stay on the floor. It does look quite comfy hehe."
