After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Fred finished up the sandwhiches with out the help of George. He made Hermione's perfect, even cutting off the little edges. He laid the plate down in front of her, and picked up her napkin. Sliding her hair out of the way, he tied it around her neck loosely. He liked the way her hair felt...it was soft....and fluffy...Fred snapped out of his stupor over Hermione's hair and said, "Enjoy Mione!!"

He quickly handed out PB and J's to everyone else and took a seat beside Hermione and Neville. "Good?" he asked..

Guin was dragged to the drawing room with protest of course but nontheless he managed to drag her in. She puffed a sigh of anger but George didn't seem to notice. Guin gave him a serious look in the eye after he finished talking and opened her mouth to speak and then closed it, words failed to come out, she was even more mad. Finally she spoke, "Your brother soaked me from head to toe George." She said with cletched teeth. "I have never been more humiliated then I was then. But since I will be living here for a while...I will try to be civilized. And this doesn't mean I like either one of you!" She added in a huff as she left the room and made her way back downstairs to get something to eat and immediately go to bed.

Hermione felt her stomach jump when she felt Fred's hands brush against her neck and linger on her hair, pulling it back. He was soon sitting next to her and she grinned at him, starting to eat her sandwich. It was very good, for a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich. "Very good, Fred the chef," She said, looking towards him.

"Guin!" George hurried after her, his voice immediately dropping since they were within close vicinity to Mrs. Black's portrait. "Please..." He gave her a puppy dog look and gestured back to the drawing room. "If you don't let me grovel appropriately, how will you ever know if I'm worth forgiving? I promise... I'll even get down on my knees and beg for your forgiveness. Just... come back into the drawing room."

Tara slipped back into her clothes, not bothering to worry too much about appearance. She was only going back to her quarters to change before starting on her research for the evening anyway. Anyone who saw her in the corridor would just have to deal with her just-washed hair style.

Finally, she slipped from the bathroom and spotted Snape sipping tea and sitting in a deep chair. It took all of Tara's resolve not to cross the room and curl into his lap, but that was just silliness. "I believe I'll take my leave of you, Severus." She smiled at him and pushed her hair back. "Let's do this in my quarters next time. I'd like to show you the view," Tara kept her tone business-like and formal. It was strange to speak of something so intimate in such a way, but it would be far worse to speak of it differently.

"Certainly," he replied, casually before taking another sip of tea and watching her leave the room. Snape breathed a sigh of relief as she left. Though he longed for their next encounter, he knew he would have to prepare himself. It did no good to become emotionally attached when they had both agreed that it would be merely a physical relationship, though they would of course, maintain their professional relationship, as well.

"Um...it's fine," said Neville but then teasingly added, "but you forgot to trim the edges on mine." Both Fred and Hermione laughed. "So what have I missed besides the underwear party," he asked. "I heard about what happened, has this been a regular thing or just on Tuesdays?"

Even though Guin would've enjoyed humiliating George, she really didn't have the heart for it and pretty soon Mrs.Blacks portrait would walk so she just nodded and walked back into the drawing room. She looked at him and eyed him as he walked in, "What do you have to say and why do you want me to get along with you two? I just don't undertand." Guin said as she took a seat and decided she'd might as well listen before she goes back to hating him.

George figured he'd need to take it slow so as not to totally frighten Guin off. "Well..." he fidgeted a bit and wondered why it was so hard for him to tell her what was on his mind. George and Fred both could smooth-talk many women, but George felt the need to be open and honest with this young woman.

George scrubbed his hand through his hair, making it stand up. "It's like this... Fred is my twin brother and my best friend. I think he's about the best person in the world, and... although I might be totally biased, I think he deserves the best. And then you come along, and... well, you hate us both and we deserve that, but look at you. You're clever and beautiful and strong, plus you can hold your own in an argument or discussion. I just... the two of you are kind of perfect for each other."

Guin suddenly felt her face flush with all the compliments she was suddenly getting and then...and then he said her and fred were right for each other? Guin was both stunned and...and...and just furious! "Right for each other?" She suddenly stood up and looked at him with a furious face, "Is this your way of trying to be get on my good side? Because it's certainly not helping!" She just stood their waiting for some explanation for this ridiculous...conversation!

Fred nearly choked when Longbottom brought the underwear incident up again. Just when he was sure he had gotten Hermione's mind of that.....Fred would have to repay Longbottom for that one later. "Yeah...every Tuesday...so why don't you go outside and participate, Longbottom,"Fred said trying to indicate with his eyes for Neville to drop the conversation. "Sooooo..."Fred said loudly and turned back to Hermione. "Um..Let me clean that up for you."

Fred gathered up all the plates, making sure to bonk Longbottom in the head with the plate when he went by.

Hermione blushed when Neville mentioned the 'underwear party.' Her mind had wandered away from that incident. How had he found out anyway? She was glad when Fred got up and cleaned the plates. "That was delicious, Fred..." Hermione said.

"Ouch," Neville said as he was hit intentionally on the head by Fred as he tried desperately to change the subject. "Ummm, sorry," he whispered as Fred moved away. He decided not to share his underwear if in fact they did do this every Tuesday.

"What about underwear?" Ginny asked.

George didn't get this girl at all... or any girl for that matter. "Of course I want to get on your good side. I want you to know that despite our impetuous and mischievious natures, Fred and I are good guys. Whatever happened, we had the best of intentions. I'm not trying to pressure you into anything, and I don't know why you feel like I'm insulting you, but you should take this as a compliment. Fred is the person I care about most in teh world, along with my other siblings." He looked at her as if he were at a loss.

Tara paused outside Snape's door for several long moments before she finally continued on her way upstairs. It was most inconvenient that the room, other than her own, she would most like to frequent was located as far from her own as possible. The distance would work to her advantage, though... the more the better. Tara shoved Snape to the back of her mind and began to concentrate on her current research.

ooc: Okay, peoples... I'd like to end this ridiculously long day tomorrow. So... wrap up what you're doing, please.

Fred bowed at Hermione's compliments and winked at Neville, who had seemed to take the hint. "Nothing Ginny..just nothing. Let me walk my favorite sister and Hermione up to bed." Fred helped Hermione from her stool and linked arms with both girls. "Night Neville." And the three headed up the stairs to their bedrooms. At their rooms, Fred lifted them both up together, gave them a good squeeze, and said good night.

He took the next staircase two steps at a time and entered his dorm, expecting to find George. He wasn't there, but Fred went ahead and got dressed into his PJ's and crawled into bed. He tried to stay awake to wait on George, but a day of underwearing the garden had worn him out..

Hermione entered the bedroom, Ginny trailing close behind her. She changed quickly into her pajamas and flopped down onto her bed, snuggling under the covers and staring at the ceiling, for only minutes, thinking about the events of the day... some of them more bearable to think about than others. before she fell asleep.

Guin just stood there standing and trying to figure this boy out. Finally she spoke quietly trying not to get mad again because it was making her extremely tired, "This is just too much for me." Guin said as she put her hand to her forehead. "I...I think I'm just gonna go...." She added looking at him and then leaving the room. The twins were just...to weird for her.

No longer hungry Guin made her way up to her room, hopefully she would be able to fall asleep. These boys were to complicated and...ahhh they made her head spin. She didn't bother to change and just slipped into her bed and before you could saw 'merlins beard' she was asleep.

George let Guin leave this time. He'd had to chase her far too many times so far already. In fact, maybe he'd give her a bit to cool off, but she'd best not think she was getting that far away from him. He had plans for that girl, whether she liked it or not. He slipped off to bed, finding Fred already snoring loudly.

Tara worked late into the night and went to bed quite early the next morning. She'd had quite an exhausting day, she reasoned, and allowed herself to sleep well into the next day. Stretching luxuriously, Tara wondered what had woken her up. Typically, she could sleep for another few hours without pressing bladder and food needs making her rise before noon.

Looking around the room blearily, Tara saw a small, feathery face bobbing at her window. "Pocus!" she yelled, nearly falling out of the bed and throwing open the shutters. The owl hopped importantly on the sill, and Tara fumbled the notepaper off and read the note. Alanna needed her to come immediately, but she wouldn't say why. What if Dani was sick? What if she'd..."

Tara calmed herself and sat on the edge of the bed. Use that cool mind. Breath. Think. She needed to get dressed and... she needed to tell Dumbledore she couldn't meet with him this afternoon as planned. Yes, that was most pressing at this point. Then she could go down to the gate and call the Knight Bus. Tara scribbled a note onto a bit of parchment and tied it to Pocus's leg. "Go find Dumbledore."

Dumbledore was sitting in his office when an owl flew in and landed on the perch which he had placed on his desk for just such a visitor. He waved his wand and the bit of parchment flew from the owl's leg and unfolded in his hand. After a quick read though, he found his quill and wrote a reply:

Dearest Sitara,

Of course I understand the need for your little trip. Think nothing of the missed meeting. However, I must insist you take an escort with you. Since we do not know the reason for your sister sending you this urgent message, I feel it is best that we ere on the side of caution. I will arrange for your escort who will be waiting outside your door within the hour.

After sending his reply back to Sitara with her owl, Dumbledore penned another note, which he promptly flooed to his potion master.

Snape was sitting in a chair by the fire when a bit of parchment flew into his lap from the fire. He opened it up and read:

Severus,

I have an urgent assignment which I would like you to take care of for me. Please meet me in my office as soon as possible.

Tara received the owl from Dumbledore in record time. She hadn't even been expecting a response from him, but it didn't seem possible he could have read and responded so fast. Shrugging off her shock, she opened the note. An hour? She had to wait an hour? And wait she would... because Dumbledore so commanded it. He was being gracious about Dani, but Tara knew better than to press her luck. Tara kicked the bedframe hard before swearing at the pain shooting through her foot. Well, whoever it was had better be prompt, she thought as she limped to her trunk for some robes. Maybe she could wait at the bottom of the tower...

After half an hour in Dumbledore's office, trying to argue his way out of escorting Professor Sinistra to wherever it was she was going, Snape was heading up to the Astronomy tower, defeated. How was he supposed to maintain his strictly physical and strictly professional relationships with the witch when Dumbledore insisted he take part in her personal life. Of course, he couldn't tell Dumbledore this, but Snape had a sneaky suspicion the old wizard knew about it, anyway.

Yet, despite the danger, Albus insisted that he, Severus Snape, see to the protection of Ta... Professor Sinistra and her child. He sighed as he came to her door. He had gotten here much too quickly and wasn't really prepared for this encounter. No doubt Dumbledore would have carefully "forgotten" to mention who he was assigning as her escort, if he had even disclosed that much information.

He rapped quickly on the door and stood straight, arms crossed over his chest, waiting for her to answer.

Tara whipped open the door and prepared to lash into whoever was standing there for tarrying. She blinked at Snape before replying rather coolly, "I'm sorry, Severus, but I"m waiting for..." With a rueful grin, Tara realized two facts. First, she realized her escort was in fact Snape, and second, she realized that Dumbledore was playing some sort of ridiculous game.

"We must go now," she brushed past him and started down the steps, hoping to make short work of the distance to the gate. "I plan on taking the Knight Bus. Any objections?"

"Surely a portkey or even floo powder would be more convenient and efficient," Snape replied, striding after her.

Of course, he knew that while they were both convenient and efficient modes of travel, neither were practical in this case, unless her sister's muggle fireplace happened to be illegally connected to the floo network or they were willing to take an illegal portkey. These minor legality issues never would have stopped him but, he supposed, she might certainly find reason to object. The Knight Bus was one of his least favorite modes of transport. He'd used it once and that experience had been enough to convince him that brooms weren't as bad as he had first thought them for distance travel where apparation was not possible. Speaking of which.... "Or perhaps we could simply apparate once we've reached the edge of the grounds," he said, fervently hoping he would never have to see those two dimwits who ran the bus service.

"Fine," Tara snapped, not in the mood to argue over how they arrived. "But how can we apparate if you've never been there? I suppose we can make a portkey and..." She turned on him, stopping them both in one of the numerous stairwells at Hogwarts. Their positioning was ridiculous, her being much shorter than him already and now standing two steps below him, but she pointed a finger at him threateningly. "You mustn't talk about magic or use the word Muggle in front of them. Alanna would... well, she would restrict my visiting priveleges if I broke that rule," Tara felt her throat go tight at the thought of not being allowed to visit, but she ignored it and turned to pace down the steps again.

Snape scowled. "Fine. Would you like me to change my clothes while we're at it, too? We'd need to stop somewhere, I don't make a habit of dressing muggle," he replied, hurrying past her down the staircase.
