After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"That is not what I meant," he sneered. "I'm sure our duties to the Order, even if you aren't a member, will require us to consult with one another and I see no reason why these consultations cannot take place within our quarters. And I don't see why a professional relationship should interfere with our other arrangement. In fact, it would only serve as a good cover for why we are frequenting each other's quarters."

After he spoke he realized how presumptuous and informal he sounded. But, why was he worried about that? They had, after all, agreed to a relationship based solely on the physical which implied that they would be seeing each other more than once with no regard to feelings. Adding a professional relationship shouldn't change that. He did not have to feel guilty for his impersonal remarks.

"I know what you meant," Tara explained patiently. "I'm sorry. I felt it was the perfect time to interject a little levity into the conversation. Apparently, I was mistaken. And I agree with you in that a professional relationship probably will not interfere with a private one," she added, ignoring any emphasis put on 'probably.' "Perhaps it would be better to frequent my rooms, however. Dumbledore doesn't pop in as often."

Draco could barely nod as the medication finally took affect again. "Thank you, professor."

He quickly fell into a sleep, and in moments, the dreams started back up again...

He was running back to the scene of the battle and he somehow detoured elsewhere.

The Caterpillar suddenly appeared in front of him. "What did I tell youuuu, Dracooo? LEAVE THIS PLACE! NOOOW!" It bellowed at him and turned into a butterfly.

"But...!"

"No buts! GO!"

Draco shook his head and when he looked again, the Caterpillar was gone.

"Bloody lot of nonsense." He muttered and continued walking.

There was a rustling in the trees and Draco stopped short as he saw two pairs of eyes looking at him.

"Who goes there?" He demanded.

The eyes continued staring.

"Cowards." He drawled and continued walking, trying to keep his facade of being unworried and carefree.

The eyes suddenly solidified into two figures - Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The moment Draco saw them he burst out laughing and he had to sit down on the floor.

"If you think we're idiots," One said.

"Then really you ought to rethink you know!" Finished the other.

Draco finally stopped laughing hard enough to stand back up. These figures seemed oddly familiar to him somehow.

"Where are you off to?" Dee asked.

"To find my way to the battle," Draco immediately replied and wondered why he had answered.

"Why?"

"Because I'm curious to know what's going on, that's why." Draco snorted and folded his arms.

Dum turned to Dee and whispered, "He's curious isn't he? You remember what happened when..." Then he turned to Draco. "Curiosity kills the cat."

Draco shook his head. "Bloody nonsense, that's what kills, now out of my way!"

He tried to push past them, but they blocked the way and as he pushed, they grew larger and larger...

Snape's lips curled up into a small smile. "Yes, perhaps frequenting your rooms would be more prudent," he responded, amused. "I believe that's twice the Headmaster has unexpectedly popped up in the middle of..."

Snape paused in his speech as he slowly glided over to Tara and brushed his fingertips across her cheek before cupping the side of her face in his hand. With a quick darting of his eyes, he saw that they were alone and he brushed his lips briefly against hers before standing up straight and slowly dropping his hand from her face. "Would you care to accompany me into my quarters or would you prefer heading back up to your tower?" he asked.

Tara didn't move at all, not to bring her hand to her cheek where his fingers had lingered, not to step off the wall and closer to him, not even to tilt her head to better receive his brief yet lingering kiss. She could still feel it sear her lips. Instead she stayed leaning on the wall, her weight resting against it in order for her not to fall into a heap at Snape's feet. Tara looked up at him her midnight eyes filled with passion and other less-recognizable emotions. "I have no preference as to location. I just don't think I can be put off anymore."

Hermione layed back on the bed calmly, listening to the boys and trying to figure out what they were talking about. It wasn't too hard, however, because they mentioned something about "striking first." "You two aren't going to do anything that you haven't talked about with the rest of the Order yet, are you?"

"No one can say that the Weasley twins can't make their first contribution by striking first. That is more than just a little brilliant. Too bad I wasn't listening to Sinistra and instead just staring at her...I mean.."Fred shifted a little uncomfortably, kind of forgetting about the girls before he opened his mouth.

"Um...so what do you have in mind George? Got any plans or is that where I come in?"he asked, his mind already wheeling with ideas...then Hermione spoke up. Fred turned to stare her in the face. "Mione..after today and Ginny's little display that completely falls on our shoulders, I'll be surprised if we even are still in the Order. We can't get them, they'll never approve..." Fred continued watching her. Why hadn't he seen before all those times she was griping at them 'not to do this' or 'you can't feed that to them' or 'stop that' that she was just caring? This situation was no different, but Fred and George still had to do what they had to do.

Hermione turned her head towards Fred and was surprised to find him looking at her. She kept the eye contact for a few seconds, then said, "Wehatever you feel you really need to do... I'm sure it will be right. You have good judgement. But just be careful, Fred..." She wasn't even positive if there was something to warn him to be careful about, but she felt it necessary to say anyway. "And George," She added, though she didn't tunr to face him.

George rolled his eyes at Hermione's comments, but it was lost on her as she wasn't looking at him. "I'm not advocating WE do all the grunt work, but I am saying that we're clever and a bit crafty and we should make a plan to prove ourselves. Or do you think we should just do it ourselves?" He thought about, then looked to Fred for his opinion. "I don't want us to get in any more trouble, but we really COULD plan something brilliant. They won't ask us to help, so I say we just plan it."

Fred let Hermione's eyes bear into a bit longer before getting down to business. "Well, we should do it. We are, you have to admit, probably two of the most inventive members of the Order. Mundungus is a bit crafty, but still he's got nothing on us. We could totally make the first blow at these creeps. And you know who I want to start with? I say we find out exactly who it was that put that final seal on Luna's life, and let that person have it. We owe her that much.."

"And how do you intend to do that?" George leaned around Hermione so that he could see his brother more clearly. "We can't exactly put out an ad in the paper. 'Wanted: Luna Lovegood's Murderer. Please send all information to 12 Grimmauld or just send up one of your nifty Dark Marks. We'll find YOU.'" George shrugged. "What do you want to do? Set up some sort of trap using ourselves as bait?" He laughed.

Harry had been down in the kitchen until he couldn't take standing awkwardly with Snape and Professor Dumbledore any longer. He excused himself and went to see where his friends had gone. He found them in one of the bedrooms, all laying on one bed. "Uh... hi...?" He said, looking slightly puzzled.

Ginny was listening rather patiently, all things considered, and weighing what the twins were saying. She looked up with joy as Harry came in. The sight of him took her breath away, even though he was dirty and his robes were torn from the scuffle at Diagon Alley. Any thoughts of impatience and frustration from earlier were wiped away and Ginny just wanted to hold Harry. "Budge over, George," Ginny shoved her rear end into her brother again, making space between herself and Hermione. "Crawl in, Harry. We're just plotting." George complied but he was grumbling quietly.

Harry raised an eyebrow and stood, contemplating what to do. He decided not to think on this one, and jumped in between Ginny and Hermione. "So, what's going on? Having a party and I wasn't invited?" He reached his hand down to Ginny's and brought it to his lips, briefly kissing it and keeping hold of it.

Ginny smiled at Harry and snuggled against him. She had already been laying on her side, her back tucked against George. Twining one leg with Harry's, she nestled her head against his shoulder and breathed against his ear. Neither of her brothers could see, so she didn't need to feel bad about greeting her love this way. "Not a party, no," Ginny said, glad Harry seemed to be in a better mood. "More like... Fred and George are planning to do someting specatacular to get in the good graces of the Order and strike at Voldemort, and we're going to help them plan it."

Harry felt Ginny's breath on his neck and her leg intertwine with his and suddenly wished it was just the two of them. "Fred and George are doing something to try to get in good with the Order, huh?" Harry asked, "Have they come up with anything yet?" He knew whatever they would come up with, it would be interesting, to say the least.

Ginny opened her mouth to respond, but George interrupted her. She settled instead for tilting Harry's face to hers and pressing a quiet, lingering kiss to his lips.

"I'm sure we'd come up with something a lot quicker if people would stop asking people to jump into Fred's bed with us," George grumbled good naturedly. Might as well add Harry now rather than later. "Now, what I was thinking..." George propped himself up on his elbow. "Quit that!" he ordered Ginny and Harry.

Fred didn't reply at George's remark about puting a want ad out. He didn't know who had done it, and George was right, they had no way of finding out. But he and George were the Weasley Twins. Nothing could stop them. The Order, at the very least, owed it to Luna to find that person that had wrongfully killed her so early in life. " I can't think of anything!"Fred burst out. "Not with you two kissing all over each other and all of us cramped on here."

Fred made to move off the bed, but found it near impossible. He lost his balance in his effort to get over Hermione with out touching her too much, and toppled off into the floor. He fell stomach down, pains shooting from where he had been hit with the curse and the garbage can earlier.

He sighed and turned over to look up at the ceiling, but something shiny caught his eye under the bed. Fred threw himself under the bed to retrieve it, and reemerged with dust bunnies covering his head and lodged in his eye brows. He held up the shiny object. It was an emblem of some sort, of a skull with a snake protuding from his mouth...THe Dark Mark. Fred sat up abruptly on the floor, a few dusty bunnies flying off his head.

"George," he said flicking him the silver badge he had found, "I've just got that plan we've been looking for." Fred's eyes flickered to George's. "But, it's a plan just for the two of us. You and me bro."

As much as Harry wanted to be alone with Ginny, he couldn't help but be thankful he wasn't. The twins and Hermione were there, and it made Harry know how he needed self-control for the moment. He pulled away from Ginny's kiss after her brothers' comments, but still was holding onto her hand.

Hermione managed to sccot off of the bed after hearing a large thump that was Fred falling onto the floor. She wanted to make sure he was alright; he had been hurt earlier in the day. She saw him there, on the floor, with a type of badge that had the dark mark on it. "What are you going to do with that?" She asked before George could say anything.

"Fine, fine... everyone out!" He scootched off the bed, wincing as his ribs twinged again. Maybe he should seek out his mother soon to see if she had any healing charms or pain-killers to take care of his rib. Watching Hermione baby Fred made him want to fall to the floor and remind her he was hurt too. Honestly, he needed a little attention. And he needed some quiet time to figure out how to get Hermione out of the picture.

Fred helped George usher Harry, Ginny, and Hermione out of the room. Once they all were out, Fred shut the door..took a few steps then turned back and reopened the door. He walked to Ginny, reached in her pocket and pulled out her pair extendable ears. He raised his eyebrows at her and disappeared behind the door again, but before shutting it again, he poked his head out, "Don't worry, Mione. It's a fool proof plan." He nodded at her and shut and locked the door behind him.

Fred went and plopped down on his bed, having much more room that four people had moved off of it. He propped his head on his elbow and faced George. He talked softly, because if he knew Ginny like he thought he did, she'd be trying everything in her power to be listening in. "Alright..the plan....You asked me how we could find Luna's killer....make the first blow....well, where else should we start but right at one of their little meetings? We can disguise ourselves or even do the Polyjuice Potion. It's simple..we get in...we ask around carefully...and then we get out. We could even find out some stuff that even Snape doesn't know I bet. What do ya say? "

"It sounds good," George replied thoughtfully. Fred was the idea man, and now it was George's turn to start in on the details. "But how do we know where and when they'll meet? And how will we disguise ourselves effectively? I just don't see us waltzing in wearing black and asking, 'Excuse me, do you know who killed Luna? 'Cause we want to help.'" He jumped as a thump came from the door, then returned to the task at hand. "I'm not saying its a bad idea, Fred. In fact, its the best we've got. But we don't know anything about the habits of your average Death Eater. Unless we followed Snape..."

"That was rude," Ginny pouted after Fred slammed the door in her face for the third time. "Very rude." She knelt beside the door and pressed her ear to the key hole. Nothing. "Extraordinarily rude." Ginny kicked the door and gave a small yelp as she bruised her toes. With a flip of her hair, she stalked down the stairs and towards the drawing room.

"We could follow Snape....or maybe just do some serious eavesdropping on him. That'll be hard, but we can do it. Should we enlist the help of the others? I'm thinking no, unless we do decide to take the Polyjuice route, then we can use Mione. But, it's just too dangerous for them I think. Plus, we work better alone. Ole Sevvy....."Fred sighed. "This is going to be more fun than actual work."

"We could get the others to help, but then we'd have to protect them. Besides, with the masks and the long robes, we don't need the Polyjuice Potion," George didn't want Hermione to help. At all.

"But now we need a legitimate reason to be around Snape or to be up at Hogwarts so we can tail him. What do you think?"
